VG Myths - Super Mario Odyssey's Impossible Jumpless Moons

Good morning, everybody and welcome back to the final VG Myths episode on the Super Mario Oddessy jumpless run In the last episode we showed the hardest but possible moons to get without jumping, leaving us with just 1 more topic to cover: how many moons in Super Mario Odyssey are impossible to get without jumping? Before we actually get to that question though, we got a few more moons after the last video came out. Special thanks To TreverDos for this one, originally it looked like these gaps were too high. But turns out, you can use Mario's two player mode 'Spin' move to help you get a little more height. And special thanks once again to HelixSnake, who figured out we can abuse Mario's wonky swinging physics to clip through this wall and land on a normally unreachable moon from above. Additionally, while going down the list for this video, I found a couple easy moons I managed to miss Factoring all this in the new jumpless total is 740. But...unfortunately, I'm an idiot! You know purple coins? We can't grab every purple coin in a jumpless run, but we can get just enough to buy all the outfits necessary for moons, plus enough to buy exactly 40 souvenirs which is necessary for a Toadette moon. But...if you make even a single purchasing mistake, you won't meet the quota, and this moon will become permanently unattainable. So while my own personal total is 740, with proper planning, the current proven possible moon count is 741. Given there are 880 unique Power Moons in the game, that means a staggering 139 seem to be impossible. Before I get to listing moons individually, there's a lot of moons that are impossible because they're in 2D sections with very simple and obvious heights we just can't scale. It would be redundant to list them all individually, so just know there are 16 2D moons scattered around the world that won't be individually listed. With that out of the way, we can finally get to the point of this video. Going kingdom by kingdom and checking out all of Super Mario Odyssey's impossible moons.
