i have four hours of space so we should be good okay i was planning to go four and a half um okay well you know i think i can squeeze it a four and a half hour podcast i did uh i did do i was just on d'angelo wallace's twitch stream oh yeah and we had planned to do like one to two hours and we started taking like uh myers-briggs personality test and it only took three and a half hours i don't know why like we kept going um but it it what was it worth it at the end i mean it was worth it for the journey yeah uh it's not a good time what was your personality thing what's your result so here's the thing i took the myers-briggs when i was like a kid or at some point in my my youth and i thought it was really cool that i had an enfj personality type because when i looked at who else who the famous people were that had that it was like you have the same personality as oprah and beyonce and i was like [ __ ] yeah cool and then i just took this one and it told me i'm an infp which is i haven't looked into the celebrities interesting yeah i just remember when i was in like elementary school or whenever i was first introduced to this you could find out that you had the same personality as hitler and that was something that kids would make fun of you for i mean rightfully so yeah also did how do they know what personality type these celebrities are do they is there a database or they take the thing and it's like i okay i am chris pratt and i am and i am this when you were yeah inducted into hollywood they they forced you to take uh mbti uh i think um i fully think that someone just imagines the answers of a person that they do not know yeah i think that's probably yeah because i've seen people have guessed what i am and okay yeah they've been pretty close um i actually it's funny because you said you're an infp like that's the one you just got yeah because that's what i was when i was i was a kid oh so what what are you now adult do we know adult jarvis is very similar to me as a child i'm regressing in more ways than one but i got now i think i am infj okay so i guess i'm more judgmental now i guess but you know like i one thing that is very funny to me is that myers-briggs got really popular and was given all this credence you know in society yeah but it was developed by like a mother and daughter who like had no background in psychology like the mom like studied agriculture it was like this random and it was like based loosely on like carl young's like things but it's as if someone else read a book by a psychologist and was like you know what based on this is my book report i'm gonna come up with a uh a personality test i didn't know that yeah it's it's wild the things that we just take for granted and then it's just like oh that's where it came from it wasn't like a scientist or something yeah i straight up i thought myers-briggs i thought that was like like someone it sounds like two like european scientists from like the 1400s or something maybe that's why they called it that yeah yeah it was good um wow i'm learning so much and this is why i brought you on i always bring the facts um also related to regressing to my 14 year old self i am sitting here with a game boy with the game boy camera [Music] um i tried taking a photo with the game boy camera and it's so bad well yeah what is it like one megapixel or something yeah yeah i feel like there's 14 pixels across and you can like kind of see a shadow of yourself it looks more like a rorschach test or something than a an actual photograph what was the i mean what is what was the purpose of the game boy camera i don't even remember that really so i didn't have it like i didn't have it as a kid i just like wanted to buy an old game boy and the person on facebook marketplace who sold it to me included this for free and it was like a nice little surprise but there was a game boy um printer i think and you could print there was a lot of there was like a little there was a game boy uh keyboard microsoft word yeah the gameboy full office suite gameboy turbo tax i do love the idea of like a gameboy zoom like it's it's 2020 but like our technology hasn't advanced so yeah we're having to remotely call in with a game boy camera i mean that's like the same thing as people using like typewriters to be like cool and like you know to like kind of have a you know it's sort of like a look into the past you can yeah so maybe that's just that's what you got to do you got to dude someone got to take nudes on [ __ ] game boy camera yo has that been done before i think it's time to start like a tumblr where you just post like game boy camera it's like uh the david dobrik instagram page yeah camera photos yeah second david start it up start our own dyspo yeah um gamebow the game bow yeah gameboy that was fully what it is oh i guess i could um hey welcome to the podcast guys what's up this is the this is very really good with my good pal i'll say it hey hey jarvis johnson give it up everyone i can actually press this uh applause thing now oh i would love that i feel very welcomed this is great it's filmed in front of a live studio audience and they're trained to make the exact same applause sound every time that's what those lights are for it's like everybody's given a role yeah they all are choreographed like a like a symphony yeah it's actually it's very impressive i yeah you would think that like i want to know the story of those guys not like the [ __ ] whatever the random sitcom they're watching is how did they keep it together right how did they do it every single time perfectly to a t i do love like um i think maybe it was in one of drew's videos about like laugh tracks or something where there was like a there's like a guy who has this like this very identifiable laugh that they play multiple times with the guy that's like i'm my name is jared the time is you know 4 13 93 i'm allergic to bees every time there's always one i sound like i remember there being like a laugh track pretty much being used in like every sitcom and it was always like i remember hearing the one laugh all the time of being like it was like this really high pitch it was like it was all the time i heard i remember hearing it i was like is that just like a young michael jackson yeah is it a young michael jackson and is he going to every single sitcom like taping i don't know so i guess i guess in my mind i was like there's no way they're adding those sound effects here they can't be but you yeah because there there are things that are filmed in front of a live studio audience and i also think that's weird because like yeah in orlando and stuff they would have like uh like there's a lot i think they had like a lot of production happening like at least for kids shows and some sitcoms where yeah you could be in the studio audience because that's wild to me yeah i wouldn't i don't think i would like that if i was a kid and i like got together instead of like barney or something like yeah right and it only works for multi-cam sitcoms because i don't think they're doing multiple takes like i think that they're just like running through it like a play yeah exactly like a bunch of cameras around it's such a bizarre concept now yeah because it's like and it's also weird because you must see like the the in and outs and like i've i've been on set of like of tvs before of tvs before right um no i've been on set of like a tv show like taping before and it's like if they take they get the same shot like 30 times in a row and it's so boring and why would you ever want to like go to like a big bang theory taping yeah when you're here like penny penny bazinga like 30 yeah can we get another can we get another bazinga bazinga take 45. can we get a little more bazing on that bazinga it's like i'm just not feeling it today joe yeah i can only do this so many times i don't think i can i don't think i could bring in the bazinga that the people need um that i went to like um i've only been to like late night show tapings okay um i i've been to a conan taping and i've been to a taping of lily singh's show actually i didn't know you i feel like i remember you mentioning about conan but yeah conan was yeah it was like he was touring or something it was after the you know the infamous i don't we don't talk about this enough anymore how like jay leno stole back the tonight show from conan o'brien yeah um he like had the tonight show for like a hot second and jay leno was like you know what i'm it turns out i'm bored i would like to come back to television and i'm jay leno so i guess i'll have it now and nbc was like well the tonight show normally has happened at 11 30 for i don't know since 1945 but let's give jay leno that slot and we'll push conan to like 12 45. yeah that was [ __ ] up i love kona so much more than jay leno yeah oh for sure i i don't think whoever is a a lino over o'brien kind of guy is not my yeah it's not my guy no they're that's if you like if you like jay a little more than conan i i feel like you could be charged with something and they would hold up in a state of innocence oh yeah fully yeah be careful yeah that jury selection yeah and i'll be on it i'll find a way to get on that journey i'll send you away yeah i i love that um i do want to a thing that is not often known by me is the sit or the late night preferences of a jury of my peers that's something i didn't want to know so you how was uh how was lily saying show live better than the the tv version so what i will say is that it is like talk [ __ ] i'll say that one thing that was very cool was that like the audience there were so many like like indian american girls in the audience who were like so [ __ ] psyched to be there for sure like it made me happy for like the representation that was taking place yeah um and then the warm-up comic like picked on me a lot and i was like this is it's like i don't i was like trying not to draw attention to myself you know it was just like he he like picked me and it was like oh what do you do when i'm like uh i'm a software engineer i'm not gonna try and lie yeah um and then i think i said i'd do youtube at some point and then um and then he was like what are you like famous or something and i was like no and then he's like audience do you know who this guy is and then everybody's like everybody's like no no and then there's someone in the back who's like yeah he's just like holy [ __ ] that's my nightmare it was so awkward um why would he do that i don't know i don't know but it was another one of those situations where you know like um and it's like i have all the respect in the world for like warm-ups because it's like such a weird gig that you have yeah yeah it's like the fluffer of the yeah of a comedy fluffer you're a comedy pupper because just to go um how much oh uh nine more minutes of okay all right anyway all right get back into character as my my laughables stand up oh no we're okay i'm done now okay i'm halfway through a bit but okay i guess you won't find out about what happened at the coin star and i had a lot to say about airline food but you'll never hear that unfortunately my my hot takes are now cold um but no honestly i i thought it was like a it was a it was a cool show there there was a lot of weird vibes of like i felt i felt pressure to laugh and smile yeah in a way like because they're like all right you know like we're about to get started let's see the claps and the laughs and the smiles on your faces and it's like haha please don't like yeah don't point me out or kick me out or whatever yeah it's like uh it's like when uh it's like you're when you're in a really small open mic and someone is doing stand up and you and you know they're looking at you and you know he can see you so you want to be like yeah nice man this is oh man yeah that is i'm having a great time such an awkward situation because you don't want to be the you don't want to ruin the energy right because you don't want to give somebody something they're not expecting because they're going to either like can throw them off or they can focus on you because i've listened to countless comedy albums where it's like you don't seem to be having a good time right it's like all right great my worst [ __ ] nightmare yeah it's ti i've been on both ends of that being like um in a small open mic and then i'm in the audience um and then i make eye contact and i'm like nice and they're talking and they're like saying that like hey women aren't people i'm like okay all right you're doing comedy man that's sweet and then on the other end of it if i'm like i'm on stage at an open mic i've been so many times like making eye contact with someone and then yeah they smile and like ah [ __ ] i'm not doing i'm not doing well right now but who knows i'll never do comedy again because dynamic is killing us so it is only you can only do um have you ever seen those like telepresence robots where they put you they put you on like a ipad or something oh yeah you control it like that episode of community yes so when i worked at yelp we had one of those in the office i think to test but it is the strangest [ __ ] in the world because like working remotely working remotely when like half the like most people are in person and someone's remote is tough because you've got to remember like oh like can this person here can this person see this thing that we're talking about let's make sure to like make it right accessible for the person who's like on the laptop but when it's like they've got a physical like person it's like you're like hey yeah it's so strange and then they can remote control the robot from wherever they are it's so weird i mean it's like it's yeah i don't like that at all i feel like it'd be no it is unsettling yeah it would be funny to do stand up like that yeah i mean if hopefully i hope it gets to the point where it's like full like robot like not it was like a thing on wheels right it was like a segway so what if it if it does if it gets to the point where it's like an actual like robot with arms and legs and like and clothes and stuff you could like pants your boss and they it's not really yeah that's true it's like the robot had a mind of its own right yeah i don't know what happened you could draw like a mustache on their face on the ipad and they wouldn't even know i do like the idea for some reason i'm just imagining you know a humanoid robot getting up to hijinks and then running away and you're just you're like [Music] scurrying and then your boss giggling on the ipad there's like a little oil trail behind it it's like i wonder who did this it's like an old-timey robot yeah he uses an oil can like someone could someone please everybody's drinking coffee he's got oil some reason it's from the 30s yeah how did we what is this weird amalgamation of technology who designed this it's got a gameboy camera on the front oh my god he has both of its eyes are gameboy cameras um that's that's that reminds me of the weirdest thing in the world which is uh like i want to say it was like the 1800s they had a like chess machine that was like supposed to play people in chess and then it was just like a tiny guy inside of the machine like moving moving the pieces that's kind of what i'm imagining is like technology from 1930. it was completely right it's just yeah it's like r2d2 like the person inside of r2d2 oh that's isn't that was was that how they filmed it in the old ones or am i just being stupid no no no i think you i was i was thinking like yeah imagining the humanity and the same for uh c-3po right like yeah um that makes more sense that it was that does make more sense yeah but i but you're right i'm pretty sure it it was a a little person in yeah yeah which feels wrong [Laughter] i'm fully like i'm fully uncomfortable like yeah i yeah yeah we that it was the 70s yeah they they were like this is fine you know what also feels wrong is um all austin powers movies it's just like yeah they the the there's like a lot of weird stuff that like i can't believe i was watching when i was essentially a child yeah it was like one of my favorite movies when i was a kid there's just so much gross out humor that i like think back on and i was like weren't they like drinking poo somebody drink poop in one of those yeah i was like oh goodness and because i yeah it was very like i remember that scene it's very oh yeah i don't even remember why they were drinking poop but that's that's the thing there's never really a great narrative reason for drinking poop so i also rewatched uh the love guru a few months ago oh how how does that hold up ah not well at all i will say that it is it is a trip man there was austin powers movies are so it was like you could tell he was he was gonna be like oh this is the next austin powers for sure right but it was just so tone deaf and especially now it's like just super offensive um oh right because isn't he doing like an indian accent the entire time yeah dear god yeah and he's like it was so recent it was so recent it really was like not that long ago i the like the fact that like we're talking about like the 1930s and [ __ ] and then like this was essentially yesterday yeah i know there is one scene where well vern troyer is in that one as well yeah yeah oh okay i didn't know that he uh and he only ever saw the trailers okay well i mean yeah you got it you got it yeah that jokes um but yeah vern troyer plays the coach of the toronto maple leafs in that movie and uh they go into his office and his office is just it's little versions of everything because and they and oh oh buddy you bet they spend too much time in that bit it's like it's like it's like a 20-minute scene and it needs to be fine at the most it's brutal i there's someone though who's cracking up to all 20 minutes of that absolutely let's run it back i got to see that again and they're all my dad oh no were you watching it with your dad no no no i was like that would be we were amazing he just walks in what's going on here oh nice watch my favorite movie no my uh i were watching it i think it was it was a couple months ago was when it was me my friend jacob and my other friend dean and then we were just like i don't know let's let's let's watch the love guru because we thought it'd be like this is funny that we're watching the love guru and then we got like 20 minutes in we're like oh man this is what we didn't even watch the whole thing we couldn't get through it it's there's a certain i don't know it was like a fever dream of sorts like because we often talk about how we don't have comedy movies really coming out these days in the same way that they used to but there was just like a lot of weird humor leaned upon in those movies but i do also think there's gems you know i don't like i remember uh what was that movie about like the end of the world or the world like uh where there was like a hole that all these celebrities were like already and they were like getting sucked in wasn't that just called the end of the world or something it might have just hold on i'll look it up i think this is like how the pitch meeting went for that movie it's like so there's the end of the world and there's this whole of celebrities and yeah what do you call it though uh maybe we call it oh this is the end this is the i say i mean same difference yeah it is the end um yeah there was some that that would that was really funny it was really yeah i thought that was yeah i saw it in theaters and i was like this is a movie that i like i was a young i was a 14 year old uh roger ebert yeah halfway through the movie this is a movie that i like you stand up i like to stand up on your seat declare it to everyone else in the theater here i i like tap a glass hear ye hear you this is a movie that i like this is a movie that i am enjoying all right back and i want everybody to know press pause i would like everyone to know um there's a guy hand cranking the film okay he's like um what is it do you have a favorite uh comedy movie oh that oh yes i do actually um so it's it's tough to decide but i it's not quite guys specifically everything but the first 20 minutes my favorite movie so you really missed all the good stuff um i love mystery team which is like donna the derek derek comedy movie okay that they made i actually never saw that it's it's great it's like bad but in a good way like um i also love uh pretty much everything like the lonely island has done um but yeah like hot rod and pop star i think is an underappreciated master oh pop star is so [ __ ] funny i have uh my my friend jordan who you met on the podcast yes got me um got me uh thriller also on vinyl like the uh the album from connor for real that's so good i don't even know they made that vinyl that's you i didn't know either it was such a surprise it was like something it was like a prop came to life [Music] yeah i remember i it's f i was like so high when i watched that movie um so i remember like laughing just like crying at that movie but yeah i need to rewatch it again like i i watched it recently and i think it holds up like it makes me upset that like i think that the marketing for the movie like really yeah like there was just like taxi cabs with like pop star written on the top of them and it was like what is pop star what is this like yeah the movie ended up underperforming like at the box office and so i think i but i don't know if it was their fault because the movie itself is like it's perfect oh it's so funny yeah i wonder i feel like because i remember seeing trailers for it and being like oh that's probably funny but then like i just never i never saw it in theaters yeah i um you know what it reminds me of um another movie that you like i forgot came out in theaters and i saw was kian peele's movie keanu about like a cat i never saw that one either yeah it's like a weird like it's like no we don't talk about it but i feel like that was like maybe the last comedy movie that i saw in a theater wow yeah i cannot remember the last yeah because it's like i'm not yeah because i feel like most of the comedy movies that come out are like it's like kumail nanjiani and like issa rae and it's like how did these two and it's like that's i mean i'm sure it's great i've actually heard that movie's good yeah but but it's always like a it's like kevin hart and some somebody else not usually in a comedy but he is now right and so it's like the straight man and the funny man and then kevin hart's like ah i'm kevin hart how are you getting get out of this i don't know that's what the movie's about i'm i'm the straight guy you're weird yeah summer yeah i know it's i feel like yeah all the movies that i can't even think of the last comment that came out maybe it's like i guess just they don't make as much money like fiat yeah and like in the box office because like when you think of like it's all just like marvel action stuff right like i saw the trailer for kong versus godzilla yesterday oh i was like i didn't even know that was happening i didn't know they existed in the same universe that yeah that movie sounds like it exists entirely for like a non-american audience almost you know like when they like make transformers and it like everybody shits on it in america but then it like prints money in china for something right yeah they're banking on that yeah yeah yeah and that's the thing it's like there i guess there's only so many um screens you know that you can put a movie on and now so many of these movies have like 200 million dollar budgets and like they're too big to fail essentially yeah exactly it's like they're forcing you to see it pretty much it's gonna make the money back i don't know yeah but you could just tell something like that it's like oh this is going to make money because it's yeah oh for sure we can make a big trailer for the trailers got like 20 million views and [ __ ] and it's like jesus [ __ ] it reminds me of like a it like a movie that feels like a parody of itself which is like what is it the expendables it was like like every action star right uh and uh who was like old and but they were like all together and yeah trying to be a self-aware thing yeah and it's like you're we're gonna get you to the theater it's got all the star power yeah we're gonna it's you're guys gonna make money and that's and that's all that really matters that's all this is about um but actually actually i wanted to bring up um back to game boys actually oh yeah um so you were uh were you a big gamer when you were a kid i i was i was a big gamer um i spent a lot of i know i didn't play a vast amount of games but i did play a lot of games very deeply i feel right like uh my first console was a sega genesis which i was is like my aunt won one in a contest or something and it was like just sitting in our closet and then when i came of age they were like boy it was time to bestow sonic 2 and the second genesis it's like that was my first game and then um and then i got like uh n64 and i yeah i had a playstation and i was playing a lot of the classics um and i feel like i spent the most time oh actually like yeah in my early days it was like sonics and mortal kombats right and uh a lot of demo discs for the playstation like dude i was that's so weird you say that i literally two nights ago i was thinking of this demo disc that i had on playstation that i would play all the time it had medieval i had a crash bandicoot one i had like this little ninja guy bushido well there's bushido blade on one of the demos and i was like this is so cool i forget the name of it but it might have been that but yeah and i like literally looked on youtube for like two hours to find like a screen recording of it or someone actually like playing it yeah and i ended up finding it um i think i put it in my favorites or something or am i i just remembered a game i spent so much time playing and i think it was about like bloody roar do you remember bloody roar on one of these demo discs that sounds familiar people it was like fighters who were like also animals or something oh yeah why does that sound so familiar i know it's like it i feel like it was on every demo disc and then eventually i got into it that sounds like a game that only your friends would have you gotta have bloody roar oh yeah it's like what is this yes so yeah um it's like we've got super um morio or something it's like like it's a real game yeah mortal kombat mortal kombat oh yeah i think i remember playing this game i feel like it was very cool but yeah it's like furry it's like a furry fighting game yeah i guess now in retrospect that's what it is i i thought it was so cool because you had these crazy like b you'd turn into like a crazy beast and then just like maul your opponent i think it kind of went in with the um the mortal kombat vibes as well it was like furry mortal kombat mortal kombat yeah uh mortal furry combat so um did you play a lot of pokemon then or were you just into like the the cards played a ton of pokemon for i got a game boy um color for um like a birthday or christmas or something and i got pokemon yellow with it and now it's just like glued to it um i was always confused by pokemon yellow i didn't i had i had a i pokemon red first yeah and then i got yellow for christmas and i was like i don't i don't get it this is like a game but now pikachu follows me around i don't get it yeah so i never played that one that much it's you know it was my first and so it gave me a weird person i like always wanted a pokemon to follow me and then like on all the other games it wasn't a thing but no i got super i think i was like more consistently into the games than i was the cards back in the day yeah um and and that continued for even like i like one thing i regret is that i up until high school i was uh okay wait just broadly games i like played counter-strike source a lot in high school okay um i and and like a lot of on gamecube i was rocking like tony hawk pro skater 3. sonic adventure 2 battle which i have framed on my wall i have right it's one of the [ __ ] best games of all time [ __ ] love this [ __ ] um and i always you know had a little thing for for sonic i guess since the very beginning and most of the sonic games are bad so you get excited when like one of them you know one of them is okay yeah um and then like uh zelda you know i was like i think majora's mask is probably my favorite game of all the zelda games i think of like one of my favorite games of all time oh all time wow i just think it's got like a really it's like a very cool very dark story scared the [ __ ] out of me but it also has like an interesting story in terms of its development because it's like following up like the biggest game ever right it was like made in like a year and like it was this interesting use of resources like they couldn't build another big massive world so they have this like looping time mechanic and then like there's yeah um there's a lot of cool stuff going on there where it's a lot of recycled assets from ocarina of time but i think they made something like so much more interesting yeah i remember it was so i when i first played that because i was like obsessed with ocarina of time i played it like i like i played that through that game like 30 40 times probably but yeah when majora's mask came out i started playing it it was like at first i hated it and i hated it for years so i was like what's the point i can't just [ __ ] around i can't and i didn't understand it really but then like once i got older i started replaying and i was like oh this is like this is [ __ ] like amazing it's so yeah i played it again like maybe like right before i finished college and i was just like yeah this game like there's a lot here there's a lot of like moral lessons there's a lot of like yeah themes that like i and also it is just horrifying like looking up in the sky and seeing the evil face of the moon like oh it's terrifying haunting yeah yeah there is so even like the side quest to get the mask like that one that big story line with like the one person who's like turned into like a kid yeah and you had uh cafe or whatever like yeah something yeah or something like that yeah people who returned it to a kid there's the uh the couple's mask was one i could never get when i was a kid because you were like there was like some burglar that you had didn't have the like dexterity in my thumbs to like run after the guy fast enough um and yeah there was just like a lot of good you i felt like i felt like i went on a journey like every time you would like come back to clock town and you'd have like all these new masks and new like yeah it was almost like you were returning home from battle and like you've got like all your [ __ ] you're decorate you're back home from war right yeah and you're trying to get here trying to get your wife trying to find your wife where is she so a reason i brought because you're the reason i brought up uh pokemon oh yeah you're i'm a big poker big pokemon guy you like the cards you're um you just did a stream where you opened like a bunch of packs and stuff right it's true yeah oh yeah i'm surrounded by pokemon cards as we speak i've even got a pikachu stapler right here how's that for business dude chill i know i know watch out um um so i thought it'd be fun i'm gonna share i'm gonna share my screen here okay people have done this on youtube i'm not sure if you've seen it but we are going to do a tier list oh oh hell yeah of the hottest pokemon like a tr an attractiveness yeah all right actually do i do have to cough oh no we're good we're good yeah not a bit okay okay so can can you see my screen yes i can okay hottest pokemon cheerleader maker uh i'll be honest i don't know a lot of these pokemon i kind of stopped giving a [ __ ] after the first like i can tell generations i can tell you about these okay i was gonna i was gonna keep them to the ones that just i know yeah so because this will probably we could go on and on with it oh that's absolutely true i was like how many are there here so i i don't i want to preface this by saying we don't want to have intercourse with any like you know animals anything like that this is just in terms of like it just if you were a pokemon you know right and this and this pokemon comes up to you in a bar yeah so i guess we'll start with this first uh this girl this this chick blaziken blaziken i was going to say that but i was in 100 sure so yeah we lower the blaze again i'm thinking i'm thinking either a or s i i think i would go a i blaze again was you know torchic was my starter engine three so yeah that's so you have an affinity you have a history yeah we have a history we have history also like absol who's to the left of uh blaziken also from gen three beautiful pokemon like very much yeah yeah very pretty i think i remember that one too okay yeah so how about okay we'll do absolute first so we'll oh yeah you were saying actually uh if a pokemon walked up like you were a pokemon yes a pokemon walks up to you in a bar and you're like hey uh i know we may not have compatible egg groups so technically we can't breed at the like nursing home or whatever yeah at [ __ ] school wherever that thing is leave your pokemon um but uh but maybe we could uh have some sort of long-term partnership where you support one another i think absolutely probably be i'd go a a for absol yeah exactly it works out and then i think blaziken i think i like the fashion sense you know the flared pants looks like the flared pants yeah it's weird because like the i think that uh blaziken's fatal flaw is that this pokemon is based on a chicken which is just like not yeah like inherently like like it's hard to cartoonify a chicken it's something that like looks cool right let alone cool and also be hot yeah the middle evolution too um is just not a good not a good look okay the awkward teenage years yeah that's fair so should we do b or are we thinking lower than uh that's tough no i was gonna air b you can you can tie break on this one oh man okay okay why am i zooming in so hard here hold on okay um you know what she's going hey let's do it hey also you know what i was thinking i don't know if you were yeah were you a digimon guy i was dude some digimon are just like like hot that is they're straight up just like like angemon and andrew woman oh for sure they were so also just like they're just out of nowhere yeah they are that's a that's becoming a problem with some of the new new pokemon because they've like been experimenting with stuff some of the pokemon just looked like digimon and it's like wait right this is too humanoid like mr mime is obviously like [ __ ] ash's mom like like we never adjust that she's like i'm the new dad like daddy mime yeah um okay let's do uh let's do charizard next yeah so i've right off the bat i'm getting you know really masculine really masculine very yeah lots of testosterone absolutely charizard even that like he's puffing out his chest yeah yeah he's like i'm yeah i'm a [ __ ] big shot in terms of like just in temperature like in terms of hotness he's it's up there oh literally speaking yeah because he's a [ __ ] yeah he is literally on fire as are a lot of a lot of pokemon that are fire types they do just set on fire for some reason i'm thinking i've never seen the triple s cheer before that's crazy yeah that one's uh i'm a little nervous to put something in that yeah it's like do we have to get married or something [Music] i'm thinking i'm thinking as for charizard oh it's a i i think that's a good one okay yeah um ditto okay that's interesting yeah no dioxis is weird uh what is that yeah i something fox del fox i'm trying to stick to the original i know i'm i'm just shouting him out for any of my uh pokemon trying to see if i can if i can name them okay um i'm thinking i actually i'm thinking triple s because ditto can be anything yeah that's true like your your wildest your wildest imagination ditto's got you exactly ditto's there for you and that's why ditto can breed with everybody yeah so i mean i feel like there's no option not to pick it has triple yeah exactly that tier is the ditto tier um evie uh that feels it feels weird yeah yeah it's a very cute pokemon sorry if you're going ahead this is apparently not the cute cute rankings right because evie would be triple s in the cute rankings yeah if this is cute it'd be a different story we're talking sexy this is hot or not pokemon today yeah um espeon is that what this one's name yeah espeon okay i mean it definitely has a a majestic yeah like what's what's what's she about yeah it's like she yeah she's mysterious mysterious yeah she's uh it's like i all right yeah well tell me your story yeah i feel like you you like see espeon at the bar you like look over you look away you look back she's gone you're like yeah [ __ ] oh yeah i missed you miss connections on craigslist going away you were you were espeon you were an espionage i was at the bar um but i'm feeling either a or a or b i feel a i feel there's something about that mystery yeah i feel that uh this is flareon flareon oh this is it's tough because like flareon is a sick pokemon very design one of my favorites yeah um like where does it fit i feel like it's the it's not the it's not the guys guy or the girls girl right of pokemon i was thinking maybe like c yeah yeah just in hotness it always feels you know weird giving a fire pokemon like a low hotness rating yeah but you know you know we're trying yeah we're talking we're not talking about temperature yeah well okay so i'm gonna i'm gonna skip over to ho oh okay oh no so oh oh that means ho'o got ho in the name um so there's i i just want to point out that um there goodra is like this like purple pokemon in the middle next to glaceon okay and his first evolu or his first um yeah the first stage of goodra is is called gooby no way and i just think gooby is a great name it's just like let me make sure i have that right um yeah i did i did there's a pokemon called gooby there's yeah and then the pre-evolution is sligoo oh goomy goomy not gooby uh well damn is there a gooby there is i mean there's a a gooby movie yeah damn not to be confused with the goofy movie well no anyway i just wanted to point that out ho oh i feel like oh it's pretty it's it's tough i i feel like lugia is hotter than ho-oh yeah but also has the uh you know like first episode of the pokemon anime ash sees the golden ho stream yeah so it's like whoa mysterious even more more serious than even more mysterious than espeon yeah okay so that's pretty i forgot about that yeah it was a it was a weird shout because like as kids we never thought about how like there were this was happening from like the games came first they were already making pokemon gold and silver by the time the anime started and so they could leave all these teasers to gen two pokemon and i was like wow this is crazy they really like thought ahead so how about hmm but in terms of yeah just i thought it was it feels right yeah i was thinking it'd be it's just i i don't know i can't explain why it just just feels right it just feels right uh let's go down to jolteon can we just put jinx in the f here yeah let's do that i uh i just can't think of anything less hot yeah then yeah aren't you sorry sorry jinx lovers out there yeah sorry okay jolteon now i can look at jolteon with like a clear clear mind jinx was [ __ ] me up it really was joseon to me seems like uh a cool kid with like spiky hair that you would want to that i would want to be as a kid like someone named like sure someone like uh max max yeah i feel like he looks like max keeble or something yeah literally um but does that mean hot right uh i guess not yeah it's like a little bit like you know uh as they mature they they kind of they don't change so it's like oh it's weird seeing somebody with like spikes spiky hair yeah yeah there's like adults i don't care how big the move is um how about we put him with flareon i think so yeah that sounds good or yeah okay yeah so we'll how about we move over i don't want to spend like a bunch of time on this but yeah even though we already actually oh lugia is here okay yeah lugia is here i feel like lugi is a for me all right i'll i'll respect that yeah we have a history we have a history what's this blue guy the lucario lucario okay lucario's hot yeah annie can take care of you i feel like bunnelby who's like next to lucario is also a very attractive looking pokemon for no reason like they went oh true try it it's like they gave they gave uh they gave that pokemon the lola bunny treatment wait a second yeah yeah why are they like some dude's like all right this pokemon's gonna be thick as [ __ ] yeah let's get a thick ass mon but yeah lucario you know what i'm gonna throw him an ass yeah i i don't i'm not against it for sure uh how do we feel about machamp i feel like machamp is trying too hard yeah he's like overcompensating yeah we get it bro you have a lot of arms like yeah [ __ ] relax you can wear more than one watch put on a shirt yeah like seriously like nobody wants to see this it's like i guess it's like the obviously the the bipedal pokemon you feel more inclined to be like okay they're i feel okay calling that attractive because they're more like humans right right because this could just whereas where's like ma while next to uh yeah the champ like what the hell is like if you take the two arms off of the champ like the two top arms that's like that should that just looks like a fella that he is just a fella um but if you but think about it like this if you were seeing a fella at the bar you approach and then you see he has two additional arms like that does kind of give me a little pause but he could there's a lot more he could do with those arms you know true he can carry more stuff if we're like moving yeah he can he's like he could hug you and you could also i don't know do some other juggle juggle and that's pretty hot you know multitasking uh maybe b yeah you know you've driven a you drive a hard bargain so let's well yeah let's do b um mewtwo oh that's tough because that purple thing is is his penis right yeah um he also has a nice deep voice and speaks english yeah so you can really talk about you know yeah you talk about the new episode of new girl that you watched but okay look can i quickly say that um over the holidays i was at my friend's place in san diego and we decided to watch pokemon the first movie yeah and mewtwo the entire time is just like why do i exist he's like like uh really why did they make me like it's like i just want and then he just like the entire time he's questioning the like the purpose of life and [ __ ] and that would get old very quick yeah in the household yeah it's like can i get over it man do you want to watch new girl and it's like why should we watch anything yeah why do we do anything also i feel like there's a little bit of an ethical concern because it's like a man-made pokemon oh yeah true yeah it's kind of weird yeah i'm thinking maybe i'm thinking d okay yeah i'll go i was thinking e but i think i can do i can do d the deep voice yeah over the top uh what about this cow pokemon uh miltank the only pokemon with nipples you know there is a you know there's a pokemon card called mumu milk that is uh censored in they changed the art because in the japanese version they're like milking a milk tank or something like yeah this is too weird this is weird um i also remember hating miltank when i was like fighting them in the pokemon game like courtney or whatever the gym leader would use like as one yeah yeah roll out roll out you know what i'm putting miltage in half i'm sorry i think that's fine i think that's fine mr mime mr mime feels like the guy who like you don't think twice about but secretly he's like getting all the tail you know yeah he's got like he you can tell he's got pizzazz he's got charisma pizzazz is the perfect word to find the vibe of mr mine um okay i'm i'm thinking a little higher on the list okay i can i'm thinking b range for me okay i was hanging around a but i could i could put him down to b you know we do have an example of mr mime developing a strong relationship with a human right um he's got you know he's got mr in the name he's you know he's he's professional yeah he is he's a man of uh you know he's a man of business yeah of much renown yeah okay i'll throw him in b how about that okay yeah and we'll do one more how about we we finish with we we can't do pikachu no um let's use snorlax snorlax for sure all right let's put snorlax in like um i okay here's the thing sometimes you want somebody who you can just like like just chill with just like lie on the couch and just relax yeah just relax and after a long hard day yeah relax his entire vibe yeah it's very like comforting yeah yeah um you know what wow you know it's a power play but i agree i can't help i cannot help but agree hey man i know my stuff yeah no this is a great this is a great tier list yeah i'm sure people will uh i'm sure people will agree with that peta yeah peta will be a big fan of this also i will say when i was uh researching that i also stumbled across an article call it i won't read the whole thing but i'll send you the link after so you can read yourself but it's the funniest article i've ever read in my life it's called top 30 most beautiful yu-gi-oh card girls not even hottest man like the most and this man is so down bad he is he is so horny writing these i'll read you one excerpt hold on oh god um okay also number one they went with dark magician girl which feels weird i was gonna say that i was gonna be my guest for number one because people just are obsessed with dark magician girl yeah but there is okay hold on there was one that i saw that was [ __ ] so funny man i was i mean i was like i was crying reading okay here we go uh laval lakeside lady okay uh obligatory hot double entendre leval ladies a dangerous yet intriguing lass you'll have to run through burning forest to catch her but she's glancing back as if she wants you to follow is it a trap or a girl with uncontrollable powers either way she's an average card weak stats but tuning capabilities plus a graveyard banishing effect to destroy a set card dude he's like so i do want to see like uh so this is a thing that i strongly dislike um is like this obsession with uh waifus in like in i i feel like it's a lot of media where yeah like po there's a there's these like full art cards of pokemon um in the new pokemon sets and there are like girl characters where it'll be like a full art misty or something and then like it'll be like a expensive card because people like are collecting like the attractive anime waifus or whatever oh yeah and it's the same for the same for yu-gi-oh uh they call it the waifu tax in the in the card game because they're like oh you know this card's expensive because like charizard's expensive because everybody loves charizard and then this card is expensive because waifu tags because yeah charizard is not expensive because because they don't because like people don't want to [ __ ] charizard they don't yeah yeah it is yeah it's just it's just odd i also do love the idea of creating a twitter account that's like dudes who are down bad for waifus yeah literally the dude like this guy and i looked more like the the author of this article he has like i just imagine writing like hope she sees us bro the guy who wrote this article has like a master's degree he's like he's like a smart guy and he's like you know what i want to [ __ ] these cards that it is it is something that i have encountered before and and i've i encountered it a little bit in school it would be it would be like i would go to somebody's dorm room and they would have like a few too many like figures of like yeah like busty anime babes and i'd be like right yeah it feels wrong it does because it is wrong yeah yeah i mean who am i to who am i to judge but this is the cake shaming yeah i was gonna say we did just decide which pokemon we would find yeah exactly girl we're all high and mighty yeah um [ __ ] well what are we at right now okay well i do i have an advice segment on my podcast do you feel like giving advice to people oh sure um i'm not i mean i'm not very good at giving advice but i mean i sometimes people just want to feel heard exactly that's all you need exactly so i'll play my theme song right now um we'll give you some advice damn i need a jingle for my advice [Music] for my advice that's all right uh yeah i'm gonna rate that a um hang on i want to see what kanye thinks about this [Music] i have a full i have a full kanye sound board okay uh and last but not least this is a motivational one he's strong you have to remind yourself that's what i like listen to that in the morning i'm like i am strong i am strong dude that's we're not going to give any advice we're just going to cut to kanye we're saying he's crying yeah yeah or or just being like like you hear like a it's like oh that's a tricky situation um okay so how about okay i'll read this one so i'll keep this anonymous obviously but uh i'm 19 and i graduated from college as a hairstylist back in october and i've come to realize that this isn't what i want to do anymore i realized this before graduating but i didn't think much of it at the time i think i want to go back to college to take some kind of food related course whether it be culinary arts or patisserie or maybe something else entirely but i'm not really sure i haven't told my parents this yet because i'm afraid of what they'll say since i already feel like a failure to them and i haven't been able to find any work because of the pandemic what should i do oh my god that's so sad that's tough you know what the good news is you're 19. you're so young yeah that's what i always say yeah like i i was um you know when i was in college there would be people who were like in their 30s who decided to go back to school and stuff and they were you know no different it was just like oh awesome for like you know deciding what you want and like making a change in your life yeah i think that hopefully your parents will be understanding and also know that like you're not a failure you're you graduated at 19. that's huge yeah that's amazing and whether or not you go into the field that you studied you can still um that that experience is still going to like stay with you and be applicable in like ways you would never expect you know yeah i always get the emails like i'm 15 and i don't know what to do with my life i'm like yeah i bet you're 15 right yeah i i uh like since i used to talk about like tech topics on my channel i still get like people who are asking for college advice and stuff like that and um every now and then it'll be like hey what can i do to like make myself an attractive you know candidate for these colleges i have and then they kind of list all the things they're done it's like look man you did more than i did it's like you're uh it's like i've been learning these programming languages and i was like i waited till i got to college to like start doing this stuff so right yeah you're i think you're doing you're doing just fine yeah yeah i think that yeah that's that's good advice i think just be you know it's totally fine to want to do something else it's probably it's probably better because now you have like a whole college degree and then you're going to have another one also it's so normal right like no one like no one should be expected to follow the decisions that they made when they were like 17 18 for the rest of their life yeah exactly yeah it's it's a weird thing that like society puts on you i when i was in school and people would change their majors there was like a weird like oh yeah this person doesn't know what they want but it's like no change like don't stick you're gonna stick to something you don't like like an adult you know it's like i don't it doesn't make any sense yeah it means the opposite it means they do know what they want to do because they changed it too they what they want to do yeah exactly like you learning what you don't like is very important and like a part of the journey of like figuring out what you do like so yeah exactly yeah you're on the right track yeah you're gonna do just fine yeah um okay here's another one i have a this is from lugia oh [ __ ] i have been a i can't believe you put me in case here what do you do what do you do when two youtubers put you in here um i have been a small creator on youtube making videos for about six years now and i have been i have been through friendships where my friends fall out of love with making content and go on to different things however i feel that because i still have a love for it and continue making videos i end up falling out of friendships with them my friends will vent to me about not wanting to film and feeling bad for themselves and i never know what to do even though they are still making content online just not on youtube i feel like a bad friend because i always support them in anything they're doing but it doesn't feel like the feeling is reciprocated they don't comment or watch my videos anymore and it makes me feel bad because i give them a lot of support um sorry this is long i would yeah let's shorten it sorry this is long but i would love you to editor notes uh i'd love to hear your advice on this how i can still keep up friendship with online friends uh huh oh uh uh uh i'm like scrambling so uh uh oh [Music] it's like which which one which um so this is a this is a tough situation right because i feel like this person lugia here has a lot going for them and that they should be like aware of like how awesome it is that they enjoy what they're doing you know what i mean like yeah that's super duper cool and that's super hard to find absolutely that's awesome that you have that yeah i think to be able would they say six years that's incredible if you're still like amazing yeah because a lot of people i feel like just would give up because maybe they're not getting the views or whatever that they were that were expecting but that's not really why you should be creating in the first place it should just be fun yeah because even if the views came and you weren't enjoying yourself it's not going to be sustainable yeah what's it really for exactly but then this thing about friends who you know you feel bad for like drifting away from them or feel like you're losing friendships there is a natural like drifting that can happen among friends when you kind of your lives change priority wise absolutely normal um regarding the support thing it's it's really shitty to feel like you're giving a lot to a friendship or a relationship and not feel it reciprocated yeah and you're not but you're not uh you're not obligated to give you know like that's something that you're doing out of the kindness of your heart and as hard as it is sometimes you want to like invest in people who are reciprocating you know yeah if you want it to be an exchange right yeah i don't think it's i i i don't know it weird it made me feel sad when it says they feel like they're being a bad friend right it's like they're not no you're being you're pretty great you're still supporting them in anything they do yeah if they don't support you then i mean that's not you know friendship is a two-way street yeah and you've got this awesome quality of like investing in your friends yeah which is like a thing that you know everyone wants in a friend so you know you're you're you're a sought-after commodity when it comes to that so like um your stock is rising so everyone's going to want to buy now yeah you are you are the bitcoin of friendship yeah you are the tesla yeah maybe not that you're the bitcoin of friendship it's like uh sometimes you're up sometimes you're down no but i think it's um i feel like you have all the right ingredients you know it's just a matter of letting yourself off the hook if you don't wanna it's natural to not wanna invest in people who don't wanna invest in you you know yeah absolutely yeah we're like where's the if yeah if my friends didn't like what i was doing i'd be like all right [ __ ] see you yeah it's fine you're like there's more people out there that will [ __ ] with you did you ever feel that guilt though when you were like i i just felt some sort of guilt when i drifted away from like friends who i grew up around because i was like oh i know this person i've known this person for so long does that mean that i have a responsibility to like remain friends with them forever and it's tough to like have those changes happen in life but they are normal absolutely yeah and i think that's something that we all you know i kind of learned whether someone lets you know that or you figured out yourself it's like i think it's totally like healthy and normal like i had a friend growing up um we were like [ __ ] best friends and then like you know hi we both go to high school and just like well i also moved away but we still kept in contact obviously just like natural people growing up and doing different things we just stopped talking i still love like i still love the guy he was like hey um yeah i i'm in this i'm in your city or something you wanna go get it in a second but like i'm not like i'm not like oh man yeah friendship yeah friendships aren't so fickle in that way if you like let them if you kind of let them breathe i don't think that you know even if you're not directly investing in the friends that you have now doesn't mean that you're not being a good friend or not being their friend anymore cause i'm i'm the same like one of my friends uh a few years ago one of my friends a few years ago who i hadn't talked to since like freshman year of college we went to high school together and we were close in high school and this was maybe like six years after that so i'm like two years out of school and he's like hey i'm i'm in i'm like going to be in your town and he likes crashed at my place and we like caught up and it was like so great you know because it's like just like you know no time had passed but we were just like catching up on each other's lives and that's like such a beautiful experience because you know that right those relationships are there even if you're not actively maintaining them you know um so i think yeah you're you're in a much better spot than you think you are oh yeah you you got nowhere to go about that just like bitcoin is what i was saying it's it's true put all your money in bitcoin a bitcoin podcast um yeah put all your money in bitcoin um i'll do one more because it was an interesting one um uh okay so hey curtis i've been having thoughts lately what do i do and those thoughts and those thoughts lead me back to more thoughts and started thinking more eventually i started thinking about comedy but see i'm a girl and i think that's a problem ever since i was little i always wanted to be a comedian and i always made people laugh growing up and the back of my mind always thought that i wanted to be a guy uh but i wanted to be one because of comedy i always found that guys generally are always considered funny and i think i am pretty funny but if but i feel if i did stand up or at least start a youtube channel people wouldn't really find me funny and i'm scared to see a guy comment something like hey you're a girl why are you trying to be funny girls aren't funny how can i deal with this and that made me so sad to read um one because if a guy is commenting that they're [ __ ] dumb ass you don't want them watching your [ __ ] anyway and two reflection of them yeah not of you at all you're doing what you want to do and two some of the literally the funniest person i've ever met is a female comedian and probably like i can name several like female comedians who are my friends who make me laugh like so [ __ ] hard yeah and it's like i don't understand the there's this weird misogyny like this women aren't funny like that is in in the i feel like it's like baked into culture somewhere because yeah i remember when i was young they there was so always so much bashing of female comedians i know like amy schumer gets it like a ton you know right and it's like why it's like the thing is like if someone's doing their thing like let them do their thing but why is there like consistent bashing why is it like a punch line right like something that's like constantly you know on people's on people's minds that you know yeah and like oh this you're funny for a girl like it's it's dumb and those people are living in the [ __ ] stone age you know literally i uh yeah i'll i my advice really for that is [ __ ] don't don't second-guess yourself just because you know you're a girl comedian yeah it's it's if you're funny then [ __ ] yeah and if you're doing it and you love doing it then do it yeah even if you're not funny and you're loving it yeah exactly just because it's like it's it's not an objective thing you know it's like if you're if you're enjoying your stuff and the people you care about are enjoying your stuff then that's all that matters and right even if you do get the comments the negative comments from dudes they're in the wrong and like don't let like shitty people ruin your day because they're probably not happy to begin with they're trying to hang you down because of like something that's wrong with them so you gotta like yeah not worry about that and keep just focusing on yourself because it's another thing that's like a really good thing is that you have something that you love and you want to pursue and a lot of people don't have that and so it's it it sucks that you feel like you can't pursue this thing you love because of how you know you'll be treated or how people yeah will treat the situation but yeah hopefully hopefully you feel supported by the people close to you um and then don't worry about the strangers because their opinions don't matter yeah exactly i just yeah it's it's so annoying because comedy is like just starting comedy and getting into it was like the best [ __ ] thing ever and for me it was like i don't know like changed my whole life it made me like actually like appreciate like stuff that i do and just like living in general so it's like the fact that it and obviously i'm a super privileged i'm a [ __ ] like straight white male so i was like i had it pretty [ __ ] easy going into stand-up comedy obviously but to think that it's not it can't be that for people it's [ __ ] it's frustrating yeah yeah and it's uh and that's you know for dudes who are listening you know like think about how yeah be reminded of your privilege yeah how you can make you know spaces more accessible and more friendly to people who don't share your same experience and background and when people speak and people tell you about their experiences uh listen to them and take them to heart and don't try to you know go well that's not my experience so your experience must be invalid because you're two you know two completely right people with two completely different yeah exactly you know what i think we did it we solved the human condition i feel like we just fixed everything i honestly uh what's that mr president i feel like mission accomplished he's calling you on your gameboy camera yeah it's a it's a versatile device a gameboy phone uh well i'm gonna have to i'm gonna have to get you on the [ __ ] advice thing all the time that was great oh thanks uh so much better advice than i do [Music] like i have a podcast about that's a lot of advice giving so yeah yeah true literally yeah so you have cracks and muscle practice um well i won't keep you for too long this was a we went for how long like an hour and a bit yeah yeah i know it's a blast this is a great time um i mean everyone already knows it but uh if they were listening but uh you're great love what you do your videos are are great and uh literally the podcast i did with you and jordan was like [ __ ] it was like so much fun we still we were still talking about like how how good of a time it was so we've gotta we've gotta
