hello everyone this is Korean belly this is American John English Sam South African Chantelle Australia Malta today in this video we are going to be finding our brand name differences in different countries in US UK South Africa and Australia so I have prepared some photos there are going to be the photos where you can see different kinds of brands after looking at the photo you're going to take a guess which brand is and tell me what you call this brand and your leader key ok ok so the first one is this one again that one potato chips or crisps chips chips chips in America what do you call this um I'm pretty sure that's leis leis you've ever tried lays before in America right not that exact one but yeah I've had lays a lot but isn't ladies like popular in America Oh Mary yeah lays ruffles but there's a few different like really good chip brands but lays is like way up top okay they are crisps and that is Walkers Walkers crisps I don't know if they're some licensing thing going on as to why but brand name is different but yet they are Walkers crisps and they are very nice it's really hard to pronounce Lucas what about yourself Africa I honestly just recognize the little range but that does look fact lace but the whole the packaging my name is Enoch recognise it otherwise do you have different packaging yeah our packaging is different we have other kinds that are the crinkle cuts we have different names for them we prefer the crinkle cut more but we have Leslie so popular but they recently stopped selling salt and vinegar glaze and South Africa explain yourself but you're lazy either popular one everyone knows Lay's okay and what about in Australia lays that's the laced logo I think it's up there its top five I think there's so many different brands in Australia we have Smiths chips red raw kettle chips yeah yeah pretty popular as well and in the UK Lucas would be the number one from I'm pretty sure Lucas is the number one yeah we've had some popular ones in the past we have uncle monstermunch and when it comes to flavors they're the one flavors I caught my attention was the Worcester sauce with the sauce I would love to get on that if you haven't already I say Worcestershire sauce Worcestershire yeah yeah it's my case next photo is this one the hamburger friend oh it's this is the king of burgers which we call burger king king what a no in England that's awesome poking Oh became sometimes it's just oh yes I don't beep a commercials we've never said it it's always Burger King but I've heard BK on commercial yeah you should just go get yeah and the typical burger name would be a whopper a whopper yeah yes what about South Africa the Burger King okay yeah we actually only recently got barbecue country since about 2014 that's racist but you knew the taste yes we have wimpy entities which are open Steve what's these separate steer this trip is really good then what about Australia this is where we are very different Australia we call it Hungry Jack's only three jobs the quick story behind it is that original this is what I heard that though always already a small burger franchise restaurant in Australia at that time and they couldn't trade market because first come first serve and so they changed it to Hungry Jack's but everything is exactly the same all the burgers are the same but when you're a kid in Australia if you already know like Hungry Jack's is originally like Burger King no I remember actually I can really remember the time I was like oh wow Burger King looks like Hungry Jack's and then I realized oh hey is it just like yeah oh man I mean it's a place I would go for sure if I was driving along and I saw something called hungry Jackson I'm hungry I could go there okay it sounds like like more personal yeah someone named Jack made that burger for me yeah it sounds more like an uncle's place I have no clue what this is I'm just gonna guess Vodafone yeah it is Oh Mona fun was an American brand originally these British verify in Australia the only reason is we have a clue vo so I was like oh it must be Vodafone cuz that's the only for you because you know I've heard of it oh you've died off it's recognized we probably have it but I don't recognise the logo because ah if we have it which I'm sure we do it's not popular our top four is Verizon AT&T Sprint and t-mobile in the UK going to phone used to be very popular well used to be a big sponsor of one of the teams in the Premier League best team in the best team man united yeah that's how I do it and it was very popular at the time that they sponsored the team these days there are some like top contenders it's more than just one you have like oh two Big Easy yeah and then even test out my balls like huge company in South Africa try to calm or Vodafone yes I don't know why I'm thinking about I've come back I mean I haven't used it in such a long time but it's still one of the big ones and South Africa one of the biggest ones with emptiness I'll seize another one so see it sounds like a vitamin yeah same Vodafone I think Vodafone would probably still be quite popular in Australia its Vodafone Optus Telstra those three other ones that come to mind so so each country has different kinds of yeah I think so I don't know what we use anything and the next one is yeah in America yeah we definitely say McDonald's this American companies it yes is definitely an American company 100% but we also call Mickey D's Mickey yeah that's a colloquial name that sounds cute have you ever used the Mickey D's in the UK Mackey's this kind of depends on where you are in England I guess with like people have their own ways of calling my own slang we're the same as those strangers and South Africa also McDonald's and I agree with Sir my people use so many different versions so a friend to say I'm ik DS or just McDonald's Australia Australia is pretty obvious it's called mces it's very common to say go for a MCEs run which means you go to McDonald's and get some food there is a debate that McDonald's actually started in Australia from what I heard there was a popular Australian cricketer called sir Donald Bradman who opened the first McDonald's restaurant which was a burger restaurant before this McDonald's so they say that there's a debate that McDonald's originated in Australia but again maybe it's like the Burger King and they made murder king and then American separately evolved on the sign does it say maca's or does it say Mick wolf a long time ago I think while I was working at McDonald's I wouldn't be don't they actually changed a few signs to Mackey's once yeah I would love to see like Mackey bees on the side next one is I don't this one this is a TJ Maxx TJ j TJ Maxx C Jason Stevie J what do you call it k max that sounds like Mortal Kombat TK so it's TJ yeah I think that's like licensing and what about you we don't call this anything have you not seen now yeah same with me I told you so that freak is always late maybe TK muscle TJ Max is coming as well there is TK my store I've seen it before I've been in Korea of like four seven odd years so there's a lot of things that have popped up since I've been here when wallows away like H&M started popping up everywhere and the next one is this one what do you call it in America well when you're fourteen and you want to smell terrible you get backs what are you talking about what are you talking about smell terrible things well to still use to repeat that as X PRIZE that's links links links deodorant yes x-linked yeah yeah no Y&X yeah everyone in my secondary school had this anyone who is cool had links Africa yeah yeah I wasn't one of those yeah it attracts like to follow men who use it's dangerous it should be made illegal but we never had Africa sent really you missing out that's why you think it's [Music] beautiful what is this brown cool its axonal I kind of remember it used to be something else in the past it used to be ego but they changed it to X I think but now it's X sounds like a 14-year old for women in certain weeks Africa are links okay so it's not ox have you never heard of the brand name axe I have but I just disregard it is and it's logically linked Africa yeah I've never heard of weeks besides the airlock so today we've been talking about the brand name differences in US UK South Africa and Australia and that's it for today and if you liked this video don't forget to press thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and turn on the notification belt as well if you guys want to check out
