you know when you're soaking wet during your pre-flight it's gonna be a fun day of flying today we're going to fly into a tropical storm from Miami Florida at the Albany Georgia let's get this started [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right welcome board everybody we're here in opa-locka and we will start up the TBM [Music] all right we got our starter engaged now watching her ng rise up down here soon as that stabilizes we will introduce the fuel there we go went to low idle now we're going to see a light off with our IET watching from hot starts then hyung starts our oil pressure has come up oil temperatures rising [Music] good start oh yeah this here time one two three to the special report window one that is Europe seven physically with 1-0 miles light rain scattered 2,700 overcast 7,000 temperature to three 2.23 lt1 1397 expecting outlets a visual approach runway Niner left landing in the partner grant wait 90 left broom we want 200 week night oh right Anchorage burn activity is caution cleaners go underground once you 0.02 it but Jeff's here alright get information Sierra Boca Grande good morning TV me5 on take a breath over at signature Sierra looking to pick up - hey be mh5 one tango Bravo uncrowned good morning clear to the alpha Bravo Yankee Airport via the modified departure Winco transition Dennis filed maintain 2000 expect flight level tree zero zero Miami departure on one two eight six o'clock at two three tree - cleared up to Albany Georgia at Miami five Winco transition as both maintain 2000 like spectra zero zero one two eight point six on a partial frequency squawking - tree tree - free if I want to grow there one tango Bravo Rebecca right IRA garzke walked on the transponder we'll go over to the ground here and go already taxing well block iguanas are eight five one thing a Bravo presents brought three with information sir every technique yeah one tango Bravo a grand room when I left tag the V on November 6 November hold short of tango remain a Strickland if you tell by that there are mistakes my number will hold short of tango tonight laughs I want a brother named with you ever gave a flick of the taxi lake no we're ready to taxi these cars go forward and now we would have left except our controls and one tango Bravo continue taxing contact our throw magazine Atari I want to go now come to $2.99 a twin $1.99 aim we'd like to welcome everybody on board today on this IFR flight from Miami opa-locka up to Albany Georgia today we have on board Reggie Reggie it's been a long time but we're happy to have you back on board up everyone it has been over six world where they're close we've been down good little we're damn hope you're ready to go fly the bumpy skies there's six one one ever well I've always already it's always a pleasure to fly with zero yet if I want tango Bravo were holding short of that 185 one tango Bravo blog gotta fly an easier an hour or we not let that clear for takeoff a traffic cessna 152 two mile fun for takeoff nine left below zero nights you're gonna hit by watching over all right Roger all together your perfect bar clearance through the assassination shorted right on there hey besides that we're looking good cleared down the runway this is nine left we're gonna line up here in center line for flights Thomas we're just under nine left remaining mr. right execute Miss Brooks prior CD threshold runway Niner Larry go ready to go ready ready power is set with Glantz Don oil pressures temperatures look good in the green we're holding our center line with our rudder pedals we're just letting our airspeed build up for a rotation speed bet there it is go back on the yoke Reggie here up we go tap the brakes to stop the wheels from spinning and we'll go gear up select it and well we've heard to indicate a lot of times when you're doing training into simulators your instructors will fail that all the time so you'll just expect you'll select something but if you don't make sure it's indicating you'll be flying around something not the proper position one thing will grow accustomed I'm unfortunate departure one second brother okay big hair three times I'm fortunate if anybody warp I mean every five one thing a bro do you climb in 700 mm zero with the autopilot at 4,000 I'm at 4,000 one thing a brother all right so we've got 4,000 in our altitude selector push the I is behind our climb trees and is mowed fighters means gonna hold right at one for the knowledge they should be are now back in the police [Music] by heading to the Rinnegan date safety mode 3 2 left 3 2 0 on tango bro alright we put our headache but we should go for Papa country to zero out airplane one people is on autopilot turn around you go to through what I'd are requesting is going to 8:50 mode we pull the power back under a hundred percent under everyone we're gonna go over seven thousand 1945 if I want a brother open seven thousand in there and 1945 under party frequency it's a busy work environment here when you take off land especially on your single pilot I'm a good morning they fight one thing abroad you 3,500 climb to 7000 an a320 heading maybe I'm 3 or 85 one tango Bravo Miami departure climb and maintain one fix it up I think one six days on my tamborrada alright so put one six thousand now in our altitude selector now we're gonna start to adjust our pressurization we're here on the environmental control panel see I'm one tango Bravo flight in three zero zero to join the thunder transition I'm starting like okay three zero zero to join the Winco transition eighty-five want a brother alright so give us a heading of three zero zero to intercept the Winco transition which is that line right here once that line comes in and meets up with this one will be on the transition will have the autopilot on to capture that follow that so if you look down here at for flight you're gonna see this is our routing today you can see the pink line is the Winco transition and we're gonna intercept that line and then go up over the role of Oh Lakeland cross city Greenville and up into Albany we're going to climb it maintain flight level 3 0 0 which is 30,000 feet and we're showing a flight time of our in 29 minutes with a 30 knot tail and averaged out throughout the flight so the challenge today with today's flight as you can see tropical storm just came up through the Gulf of Mexico and we have to deal with a big bands of it all going to be going through our destination area the tropical storm but it's currently up great up here so we have to be very careful about the decisions we make today we have our alternate which is Fernandina Beach visit right down here once we get a little closer we'll determine if we can get in there or not and that will be our plan if we can't get it though we'll go to defer ending a beach sense that's actually on her schedule for tomorrow so we'll just flip flop our destinations read up made by one tango Bob will contact my mission or 1/3 2.45 30 to 45 I want to take a bracket more money if I want thing of road do you want the 2,800 climb into one 6,000 number if I borrow here no Bravo my me that are cutting mean thing football to 3-0 I'm in painful a two trees 0 a lot to grow so when you fly professionally in your career you're gonna be passed to flying days that are really not that maybe further according mean nice to fly huh - 3 0 as a pilot reach I have many factors that i factor in too what I consider for a risk evaluation of whether or not we should go to a destination today having our alternate which we know is going to be in good weather we always have that opportunity but you'll ask if we should go and I've already ran all the calculations and risk assessment on this particular flight and I determined that it is still safe to go and try and you know like I said if we don't we get it's too bad well we can't get it we just go to our alternate it's past true playing a little one eight zero we'll go to 9 9 to any old timers we're gonna push the standard button or go to 9 9 to 1400 for quitting for an hour limiter is set up for the flight levels to bring to this last model air and I think we should be getting up into the bluer skies once we get the pick out of this layer home beach approach point to a point there we go or break it to that last layer down here 600 and definian door controller this guy's we go I hope you see red you actually get a little bit of listening in which he'll come a little bit on the way just very very little question 35 one thing go Bravo count like by me Feder one to six point five two five six fifty to one thing okay good morning Miami November eighth by one thing abroad you to one to climb out a two three zero on a tree zero zero heading to join the winter transition very 5-1 tango Bravo biogenic why maintain five about three zero zero three zero zero all right up to our cruise altitude as you can see here comes our Winco transition it good 920 now traffic is now on a path funny one is currently iron ore wa c binds up the airplane will start to turn and our course on its own let's see if this thing does what it's supposed to do here it is Reggie the lion is coming in and lining up now the airplane is turning on course and I've got mine off like a great father for sure well it's nice Reggie as we are cleared all the way up to our cruise altitude of 30,000 feet if you come down here to our pressurization panel we have it set for a cruise altitude right now our cabin altitude is showing right about 9,500 feet and our psi is just under it's about five point seven and as you can see the cabin is not descending or climbing so that's all set up for our pressurization for cruise altitude and it's doing a good job we're leveling out at 30,000 feet now the airplane is gonna start the plane out and we'll build up all our speed and we'll secretaries contribute all right Reggie we're a little bit farther up the road here we got some tough decisions to make Reggie's a very brave fliers not to worry about Hammond I've been monitoring all the weather radar I got the onboard radar on we've got some pretty heavy lines of weather up ahead right now is when we have to make the decision do we want to continue up to Albany or cut over to the right to our nice destination of nice alternative uh Amelia Island which has got really good weather I'm thinking we're in the descent right now down to two four zero out of three zero zero which we've been assigned we've been given a good deviation to a hole that I see up ahead there's different factors like you're a pilot get there itis is one of them let's called get there itis it's it can get pilots in a big trouble where they just want to get to their destination and they push into something they should have pushed it to controllers up here jacks they've been really good with this today Reggie they gave us the deviation I asked for and without any question and just said you know when able to direct Albany so with ATC being really good to us today I can see this one little hole that we got up here it is sometimes they call me sucker holes I don't think this is really going to be a sucker hole because it looks big enough where it won't close up on us I'm saying Reggie I think we can continue to Albany and get to our destination safely all right let's do it sounds good to be through there on how to treat zero I take a brother the difference between being a pilot and having to make decisions up here that are tough compared to other jobs is if you make the wrong decision up here it could be your last decision that's very important to really take everything very seriously make the best decisions possible you know what Reggie I'm feeling generous I got a couple things I could give away I'm gonna let you choose what the viewers get next is a price I think of nine eight seven thousand eight five one thing brother but here it is what I'm gonna offer up we've got a cool pair of shaded aviation sunglasses okay a Fitbit you know those Fitbit you wear right or a garment 360 camera what should we give away next to the viewers well I'm into fitness oh I would really like the Fitbit but I think the Garmin 360 camera alright there it is guys Reggie chose it for us so if you guys go over the website Steve I want kinivo we're gonna give it away a garment a 360 camera so go over to the website for details on how to win that thanks Reggie for that sake not a problem it was difficult it's three two point three seven thirty to thirty seven one tango Bravo good well dust a good morning about a fight one thing abroad you two one-niner down to stuff does 85 one thing goes off approach me up in there to Niner eight six eight six six one thing I wrote all right we'll put our local temperature setting in here in our eight-six and we'll listen to the 80s here at all day that's the local weather information airport information tower information Oscar one four five three Zulu and one seven zero would one two visibility one zero the only 2100 broken 2700 broken temperature two eight two point two three altimeter two-niner eight three only two to approach or are Navin we want six approach in use advise on initial contact to have Africa all right we have information Oscar every hour the airport broadcasted information Airport information and they give it an identifier and you let them know when you have what identifiers you have therefore they know if you have the latest information that's how that works one thing to maintain 4000 I've been to a four thousand one tango brother down to four thousand go to our altitude selector they were just saying at 1500 feet a minute which aligns right up with our VF air a little gap is holding up good it's holding up first Billy gets stuff off to the left and the right you would not want to fly into you there that I mean that's read on our radar if you go into that you might not make it out the other side you can see the columns of rain down over there we're good just a time to Reggie because we have orange and red pushing towards that Airport it's close but rain is currently 12 point eight miles from the field that's going right towards it and I believe it's the storms are moving about 25 miles per hour thankfully we only have five minutes to the field will power back a little bit we're gonna be going at some of the overhang here of this club and the storms okay five 110 go grab a contract Jacksonville center of 125.75 every day 25 35 one take a breath over there more Jack's November 8 5 1 Tanner Brad you Niner thousand he's saying the 4000 with information Oscar direct Albany they've got one thing a bravo Jack until senator Roger off just turn it already I'll come in there 283 and their advertisers on that pick two or one fix which one you off Oh take the run add 4 to 2 and we have Oscar H if I want your brother you've got one thing of Robert Roger reason why I chose that is there's precip off the the on the approach to r16 so looks like two two is clear that's why I chose the approach in a two to generate by one thing about it you want to go initial approach you want to try the intermediate level tre the intermediate for wanting a brother nine one finger brother Roger I'm gonna break the up that way and then I'll turn you direct to op that you can plan on that Roger all right it might get a little bumpy here guys seatbelts on nor eight Bob one thing a Bravo TURN RIGHT heading of zero two zero eight zero two zero one thing ever ever and one thing that probably got a regional debt coming in from the north he's gonna be number one you'll be never - Roger wants hang up forever there 5300 I'll be there ten nine eight three information officer expect gonna have to - here we go Reggie there's all the bumps so we get to enjoy Harold our autopilot kicked off - because of the jolts problem all right so get stabilized here at about freaked out yeah we engage the autopilot that was a hard hit all right we're just going in and out of IMC at the VM see it in factored for this approach it's the fourth leg we have the approach plate overlaid on to our map so we can see right where we're at I also yeah approach plate all set up - man we got to get to that Airport I have a feeling being stuck behind this regional jets gonna put us so close to this Evan - the storm the other thing we got to worry about is the missed approach puts us right into that storm if this weather moves over that field we can't do the publisher just be about to do got areas of modern andy andy cramed hesitation alone we were to fly it out front about 40 miles in that this issue before additional hundred they need to publish best buds from right into the bad stuff officer we got a sign up something just in case that store moves over and I got to go missed I can't go I can't do the publish missed what say acquire about that Jackson I've every if I want tango Bravo question we had the question Jack's another refi one tango Bravo looks if we get that what it moves towards the airport we got to go miss for any reason the publish miss is gonna put us right into the storm what should we do for a missed approach I'll give you an all for an appearance if you thanks it's like deja vu from a flight back in 2016 I had a wall water rated halfway down 300 feet up your number two or number one yeah that regional jet needs to get going usually the one that's getting in vessels over all right I'm gonna slow it up cuz there's no point going fast the opposite direction of the airport now that we're past it there were eight five one thing a Broadway left turn direct WAP get this gonna maintain 3,000 left trying to trick Moscow down thirty thousand one channel brother endeavour 5300 gonna alternate miss or the Arnav the tutu's gonna be right turn climbing to 3,000 feet in I thought one thing a brother maintain 3,000 walk the cleared approach you're all for the Miss was gonna be a calming right turn direct pecan to hold at do three down Trek - vodka and maintain 3000 or sep the final approach course alternate missed will be great turn direct econ and will hold the 3085 one thing a bro robbery backtrack predict that weathers right there Reggie right by the airport alright now we were intercepting the final approach course here let's go to around border take a little look at that Fred at 18 miles yeah that CBS I'm gonna get up that way it's miles from an airport the thing about me you should be fine getting in endeavour in front of you the regional jet made it this fun and I'll show you established from the pilot Pro Sport contact our one 20.25 y'all take care thanks Reds upload Atari if I want to grow tired good morning I verify one tango Bravo and they are down for two to another city 300 taxi to the ramp via alpha Charlie we even know they said he made it in but you know just assume we're gonna make it in Albany tower good afternoon now wind 1 7 0 at 1 1 Gus to 0 1 way to to cleared to land cleared land rely to tune I've ever if I want amber ever November 1 tango Bravo we don't have any rain on the runways right now but we do have some clothes I'm sorry clouds moving in from the southwest they're getting pretty close so if it does start raining here I'll certainly let you know thanks for that once hangar brother you always do a good job here at the all when it's hard yeah I Reggie we are racing that weather and it looks like it's pretty close it's pretty close I'll be happy when we can actually see the runway who actually make a decision if we're gonna get down on it or not endeavor 5,300 are you the crew heading back to Atlanta today young man okay there is a call for relief there so they shouldn't be all right I'm starting to see the runway Reggie let's see you'll see how close that rain is I think we should be all right I can see you can see the whole line of showers at the very other side of the airport see it there Reggie I do I'm keeping her speed up and we'll start to pull it back now I get set up for Atlantic but I think we're gonna be able to make it here that's why I originally said I want to set up for a different alternate for our missed approach because there is no way we want to do the whoosh mist and a lot of people that don't realize that you just don't go with the published mist at the Polish Miss is gonna throw you right into the middle of read so thunderstorms wind check one six zero at one freak all right have a nice left trust went to a slanting rook here down or I'll set up for landing for their Reggio wall of water right at the other side of your Wow I feel good though we're gonna make it your beat the weather and just in time we still have got about 300 feet to arm altitude for our girl around up to look pretty good got the other path 500 well disconnect the autopilot and I'll hand fly the rest away when check one six here at one three oh yeah when it's gusting around because I mean alright the edge of the storm I'm gonna hold a little extra speed in here just in case of any wind shear there's a birds that just went by oh sorry I'll go back to play title solar flare and we made it nice boots oh that's your head it's better line but reverse here I'll slow it up for the charlie taxiway alright guys welcome to
