The Last of Us season 1 episode 6. [Music] it's Jane and it's JV welcome back to cjango TV The Last of Us yeah we're kicking off The Last of Us last episode was incredible oh yeah and Incredibly sad super sad with Henry and Sam we've lost both of them it was yeah it was super sad you guys saw we cried and stuff but we predicted that Henry was from Toronto and he was he was he's the same thing Canadian accent that we have so we recognize that he's a identity an actor so we're gonna see where well how Joel and Ellie deal with the loss and how quickly they move on I know Ellie was taking it kind of hard I end up so let's check this out oh I just want to say to everyone that saw us in the Mandalorian trailer that Disney released uh thank you for all the positive comments you guys have been seeing you've been sending us DMS and all kinds of messages and we're excited when we saw ourselves in it but we didn't do a reaction to it but uh we're really appreciative and humbled by Disney including us in that so it was really cool we're now officially part of the Star Wars uh lore and we're in the Star Wars Universe I'm just kidding we're not but um we're part of the Star Wars World though you know like we've been uh pulled into it by them like I was just kidding we're not it's cool for like a millisecond but I'll take it that's cool thanks everyone loves that means that maybe Luke Skywalker saw a reaction maybe for that millisecond second can you just let me have Mark Hamill and all those guys Mark Hamill uh no don't make us watch this part again three months time job holy passage of time what the heck man we missed three months the game I I haven't I didn't make it this far so this is all new to me this guy isn't that Jacob's dad you know from Twilight oh yeah yeah he's in ever he's always the Native American in every movie is his name Billy Black who the hell are you just someone passing through take the gun out two fingers only put it Out Of Reach why did you shoot him the gun's all the way over there he didn't hurt me by the way yeah good eyes he's got a girl with him yeah no okay Joel calm down I don't think this is a hostile situation it was just a little cycle missed all the street signs in the enormous Forest [Laughter] you're telling the truth yeah are you telling me the truth yeah I like her yeah I have these nice people Nothing Better happened to them well you found a great place to hide I guess hide came here before you were born Sonny anywhere people used to be you can't go there no more so you haven't heard the name Tommy nope the fireflies we get those in the summer Firefly people I like these two they've man they've been isolated from it all you never go past the river here death we never seen who's out there but we see the bodies they leave behind holy crap you're not gonna scare us scared him holy look at him it's like a rabbit take two holy heart problems Jolie you okay anxiety attack I don't know what are you because just to remind you that you're dead I'm fine okay I'll have to do is cross the river of death oh she really has no fear yeah you think it's anxiety attack do you think he's okay yeah I think it looked like that like he just got the news that this River of death and his brother's probably dead and he's just like freaked out for a second these views are incredible Alberta was all the way over there I like those two good nothing happened to them we're far away from them they're in Alberta eh I should have stolen two rabbits we can get our own rabbits you gonna teach me how just keep moving freezing probably Oh I thought his boots for Denzel Maybe yeah maybe there's holes or I mean how long that's cool Northern Lights three months together we missed yeah or she's still doing her jokes can I have some no way just to warm up really yeah it's gross yeah oh yeah yeah it's still gross the day we find the fireflies it all works draw my blood and put it through some of their fancy machines and make a cure like what do we do ride best astronaut name ever chance to be an astronaut I don't know if that'll recover in her lifetime no it'll work right the vaccine it's a little late to start wondering I knew he was infected I rubbed some of my blood into his bite I don't I know it was stupid but I wanted to save him by not telling she really took away their chance to say goodbye to each other the brothers oh yeah they're still not that close you know like wake me up next time yes sir she's not treating her like his daughter you know like what are we gonna do like he doesn't want to be with like yeah just take care of her after well the bridge people go across they never come back infected humans can't believe after three months he's not like I'm gonna take care of you after too the heck man Joel it doesn't it's become snowbirds are we screwed because our kids are young my dad's like 60 so his dad was a freaking 12 year old I know he can't be a snowbird I know I'm saying like even at 60 like we'll be like good to go yeah but I want to be a snowbird as soon as possible we got what 20 years yeah as soon as they're 18 they're out of here so let's 16 years what does he see is it coming oh oh my God it's trying to find her family somewhere out here I was heading in this direction so really goodness of your heart so you know where they might be these fireflies you know they got a base down at the University of Eastern Colorado Raiders it's not exactly an easy trip it'll be easy for us as soon as how you can headshot infected from half a mile away oh he wants him to go yeah oh yeah I can't go oh come on made it across the country you just want to go out there it's kind of me yeah he does have it made they didn't have to take me in but they did and all they ask is that I follow that rule I'm your brother yeah I'm aware Joe some of the things I did tell me those things that you judged me for I did those things to Keep Us Alive we did those things we murdered people uh I don't judge you for it we survive the only way we know how damn man there were other ways if you knew the [ __ ] that I've been through Tommy trying to find you these last few months I'm going to be a father oh she it might be her he started dying right yeah when is Joel gonna like soften up menstrual solution loose gross it's always scary going into a house like this even though you know like nothing should know about Joe oh like how he used to kill people I know about that Holy couldn't understand my concern he doesn't do that anymore he stopped killing people efficient ones and Tommy did it too are you worried about him there's a whole lot you're not telling me good be careful who you put your faith in the only people who can betray us are the ones we trust it's true now come on grab your soup eggplant coat the movies wow that's crazy she didn't know about Joel's daughter how about Sarah shoes kind of fix it trying to Cobble his shoe back together yeah like so I said I might find you here Bhutan oh from the beginning yeah tell him everything it's like Dwight when Michael said okay she hired us to smuggle her to some fireflies test got bit she made me swear to take the kid you know she saved my life there from another kid five years ago I would have destroyed him but she had to shoot him to save me because I was too slow and too deaf to hear him coming oh yeah that guy that's all man killed his own brother to save her well I just watched I couldn't think of anything to say just oh so afraid what uh that's why he doesn't want to get in touch I can still handle things but I'm not who I was what maybe there are these moments where the fear comes up out of nowhere my heart it feels like it stopped oh no it is anxiety I have dreams I just know that when I wake up God damn I've lost something I'm failing in my sleep it's all I've ever done it's failure again and again his daughter want me to take her I'm just going to get her killed I know it well here's your chance to bring your kid into a better world you're younger than me you're still strong you said it yourself you'll come back you have to take her you can't tell anyone not even Maria tell me you're the only one I trust if anyone else sees those bites on her what's under her skin shooter this is a crazy last thing I'll ever ask man he's a good actor yeah he's brilliant take her out of dawn what wow what the heck Justin I'm scared oh that's not Ellie what the heck well it can't happen so only the ones you trust can let you down remember what he's what she said yeah true that's probably gonna be the theme for the episode he's gonna tell her oh God a chain reaction of bad things are gonna happen now is this really all they had to worry about boys movies deciding which shirt goes with which skirt yep we're reading her diary it's bizarre yeah I came here to talk to you no why are you still here if you're gonna ditch me ditch me I have to leave her you have to take her she heard yeah he knows the area better than I do you give a [ __ ] about me or not of course I do come on what are you so afraid of oh the daughter part oh God I'm not her you know Maria told me about Sarah and no don't say another word I'm sorry about your daughter Joel I have less people too you have no idea what law says everybody I have cared for has either died or left me everybody except for you so don't tell me that I'd be safe with somebody else because the truth is I would just be more scared you're right you're not my daughter I'm not sure as hell ain't your dad why is he doing this I don't know I'm hoping he's doing that you know when you wanted something a dog's following you and you want to get out of here like but he really he actually cares about her but he wants you know what I'm trying to say right yeah this is crazy I don't know what's gonna happen I don't haven't played this far in the game I'm not her she said it all that she is see Charlotte I know how do you live after that like losing your child she looks so much like our daughter oh man Sphinx is so much harder yeah it's like you feel the pain extra you know we cried you can't really say goodbye or something no no yes I came here to steal one of these horses and go oh Oh I thought he was gonna do away all right it was 30 minutes ago and I guess you deserve a choice I still think you'd be better off with Thomas let's the middle of nowhere they built this fort all these giant walls around it they're protected from Raiders from Clickers and they have trade Raider and they all like trade like materials and stuff and and there's no money communist Society yeah it's like a communist Society but like it's so small that it makes sense yeah you know it's not like what like you're gonna have money and whatever it's it's yeah it works and 300 people community yeah it works everyone seems happy there's like a theater and stuff there's power from the dam there's Plumbing heat like it's incredible so um oh stabbed yeah you stabbed I'm happy that place exists I'm really because usually in shows similar to this I'm not going to say the name um they usually uh get destroyed by the end you know like they're all so happy and then like by the end of the season or something like the whole place gets smashed but um they left his brother's there his brother's wife is pregnant so they're gonna have a child together I don't want Joel to die um they're five days away from where they need to go though there's no doctors around and it's like what can Ellie do like direct them to where that pin was how can she figure out how to get there yeah but there's a game and there's a part two to the game um I don't know so okay let's go through the episode after that um Joel and Ellie he's still after three months of traveling together like uh one on one basically I thought by the end of that they would have been you know through these issues father-daughter relationship but he was still had this hottest wall up um with her and then he saw that his brother was like married and was going to have a child and was like his life was moving on and then Joel just kept having these conflicting feelings with his daughter and that he kept letting her down and um and he keeps disappointing her in his Dreams yeah and then he kept having anxiety attacks yeah and he was like she and then he she was he was telling his brother how um Ellie saved his life and he's getting too old like he's he was like scared and he was crying that was crazy so I think he needed all of those things to happen in order him to get over the the wall that he put up because then he had he had it out with Ellie after that and then she finally confronted him about his daughter which she she just found out about and he's like she's like I'm not her oh man that was crazy that was perfect that whole interaction was like really intense and then there was the like the girl with the similar hair and then she turned it wasn't her yeah it was like it was sad you know yeah and then he was um he's like you're right you're not hurt oh man that was so harsh and then he's like I thought they were gonna do more of like of before they they traveled together again but she he was just by the horse and then she's like he's like you deserve a choice he's like let's go and it was all but just like that that's perfect that's enough for me I was like what that was great that caught me so off guard I thought they were gonna have a whole thing and then with Tommy and him it was just I thought he was might tell his wife and then there was a whole conflict there but they just like moved on which I liked I didn't want to conflict with everyone knowing and stuff yeah so but it was it was good it was good to see it it was uh it was hard to watch that episode um I definitely felt like it was too easy for them to get there you know oh like so get to the university days like I just hope it's that easy to get back yeah yeah the five-day travel having the horoscope like the horse didn't have any fuel you know like yeah I don't know maybe yeah I don't know but uh yeah they got there the fireflies had left and then they ran into some Raiders um good thing they didn't have any weapons but they had any guns but they had like old bats and it broke he got stabbed imagine how hard the force would have been to push that in like the stick to get that in you know oh yeah yeah so um it's up to Ellie now to keep Joel alive and figure it out by herself because she is terrified of being by herself because she desperately wants to learn how to shoot how to do things and Joel was so reluctant to teach her they had so much time together he should teach her like everything you know how to shoot how to administer first aid what to do if I'm stabbed and things of that nature like teach her survival skills but he just didn't want to but now and they were smiling and like so I think that wall has finally come down and after this episode we're gonna see a new side of their relationship which I'm happy about but I hope he lives we'll see in the next episode um so again thank you guys so much for subscribing to the channel great time and then he's like all right so come come on Friday you come so after work you know she came and she sat down and he ordered her pint Guinness and sat down and then she picked it up she took a sip and she's like oh and he's like and you're over here thinking I'm out here enjoying myself you know because it's good girls yeah yeah okay [Music] did you hear that in there yeah yeah you knew it she just got back from Ireland yeah I just popped over for the weekend yeah um all right so you got any jokes let it let it uh put the right thing down in the comment section the damn joke was funny oh it's a damn joke I know you're gonna get real estate for that that took a while when I like something I'm like damn you know I didn't and I'm like oh shoot it's a damn yeah um all right great episode great cinematography I got to point that out the shots were incredible and the director wanted us to know because they had this canvas right they had the Calgary the sun calories I've been
