that's right that's right yeah this is exciting I feel like we're talking to potentially new people because it's a new show yeah The Last of Us fandom is huge huge so thank you so much for clicking thanks for joining us we should talk about our experience with The Last of Us oh yes zero zero percent uh like 10 10 oh 10 I feel like I've played like at half an hour or the hour of the first hour of like the first game okay so maybe whatever percent you claim that is that's what I claim as yeah yeah yeah so that's a good percent so basically we do not know what we're getting into we have no idea of the twists and the turns and the major story points yeah the characters are so I'm extremely excited about this I have heard great things yeah from some people who've been able to see the show early and they've said it's made me want to go back and play the game so I'm like oh great I'm hoping that after this first episode and as the new episodes come out every week that I'm going to want to be like let's go play in the part two is a game that which which I'm assuming is like they're gonna be season two or three or whatever so I think there was people who yeah I'd like the second one more than the first time I know it's not gonna mean that this glass only one season I don't know I I'm but I'm super excited that it's like a new thing that we all three of us get to yeah for sure and then maybe we'll play the game later who knows yeah who knows it depends if we can make it to 200k in six months three months yeah I'm promising right now in three months if we get to 200 000 subscribers on YouTube I promise you we will play the game the last time I'll play the crap out of that but like put it on YouTube and do a reactions the whole game yeah let's do it I know 15 minutes yeah no 30 minutes of a game um yeah outside of that I'm just really excited to uh start start something well this is also kind of like outside one of those shows that's kind of outside of our regularly scheduled programming it's not superhero related it is based on something some pre-established property game or otherwise so I'm excited to see and because of the sort of history of video game adaptations this one has gotten so much incredible praise and I'm sure it has I'm sure there's a lot of reasons why but I think a primary reason is it's the creatives of Chernobyl and it's the creator of the game we're heavily involved and you got Papa Pedro in there us watching this show is probably the closest to getting us to watch something like Chernobyl of our comfort zone yeah there's no rancors in this that we know of that's true there's no grow Goose you guys ready I'm ready I am ready all right here we go in three two one go yes any kind of virus but most probably something similar to influenza because of air travel through this is this is going to feel like covet true fungi cannot survive if its host internal temperature is over 94 degrees and there are no reasons for fungi to evolve to be able to withstand higher temperatures but what if that were to change what if foreign the world were to get slightly warmer oh damn uh-oh oh damn I don't like this is already so creepy so if that happens we lose oh my God that's so uncomfortable it's so uncomfortable a great opening nice bit of writing like that was great it's gonna make you birthday pancakes you want them as distracted as possible because tonight every Firefly in Boston is going to gather in this building and we are going to leave the QC quarantine Zone is this real I believe it is what it is a truck Jesus Christ five minutes away what I do have is you and I know what you're both capable I really like how this part of the story is unwrapped because it's just it's awesome normally I feel fruit roll-ups in your backpack yeah in your lunchable the radio is a smuggling code right 60s song they don't have anything new 70s they got new stuff what's 80's damn smart smart kid kid growing up smarter than me tough one I didn't get that [ __ ] so what's the deal with you anyway you some kind of big wigged daughter or something something like that does she know yeah she told her well the radio came on when you're sleeping Joel is holding Ellie and he goes look at me I'm gonna use it I'm gonna cry wake me up before you go go you missed the message 80s means trouble code broken you're a code breaker and I like it kid there's probably gonna get a house yeah that's what I was just saying curfew six like how are you getting out of here oh there you go they built a tunnel underneath the it's gonna be 80s wake me up they couldn't get the warning before they went out nope oh no Alexa Shazam this song wow yes great shot hell yeah great last shot dude that was excellent really good that was excellent let me tell you guys yeah this is what I heard from somebody who has seen like the handful of the First episodes yeah I heard this that episode three they were saying is maybe going to be one of the best episodes of Television all year oh wow how great is that that this was episode one yeah and it's like okay like a movie great setup it did feel like a movie but like the story like the meat of the story yeah hasn't begun right I mean I think it has yeah I think we were just setting up the world in episode one obviously we're trying to get the rules how things work we know about the fireflies now we know that Ellie is special right right is her name Ellie am I just making that up originally right yeah but she was using Veronica right that's right right right right exactly so um cool man I'm into it I don't know what we're gonna watch for the rest of the year but I feel like I'm gonna be very satisfied with this show already yeah yeah I agree this has made me want to play the game yeah oh yeah and and really take the time to it's so difficult to find time to play a video game yeah right I just started me and my girlfriend just started god of war from 2018. yeah it's awesome and we don't often have the knights free to like just sit down and crank out a couple hours you know but I want to do that and I'm already thinking like if this show is basically this level quality for season one yeah I'm really gonna love it I'm gonna want the Blu-ray I'm gonna download the score the soundtrack thankfully HBO Max does put their shows out on Blu-ray 4K blue Peacemaker yeah I got Peacemaker I got Chernobyl oh let me borrow that oh it's great but it's nice you know what other show ends with popular music that is fantastic [Music] is that the ghost What Turn Off the Lights this was super great I cannot wait to experience more of this show more of these characters for 80 minutes I feel like they really utilize their time really well to give us all the backstory
