scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life and they are they which testify of me now looking at the revelation of identification is what we've been dealing with in the past few weeks the revelation of identification in christ does it amaze you that the first activity of satan in scripture i mean the enemy of the believer does this surprise you that the very first statement from satan in the book of genesis is to talk about god to talk about god hath god said or what has god said have god said that if you eat of the tree of the garden you shall not die then he said you shall not surely die so he begins to contradict god's word that's the first thing you find satan doing the first time we see satan anywhere in scripture he begins to contradict god's word you know sometimes the greatest challenge we have is not from metaphysics or from the supernatural sometimes the greatest challenge we have is just from the pulpit from the pulpit religious pulpits that suddenly doubts the integrity of god's word as god said that was the very first thing the devil did giving out a false information about god the first time you see the devil ever the first thing it does is to contradict the integrity of god's word and sometimes they come out of people's experiences you know age is automatic age is automatic but growth is deliberate age is automatic but growth is deliberate you don't do anything to age because age is time you know growth is the effort you put in to acquire knowledge insight and wisdom you find people born again for years but the kind of experiences they had is not scriptural experience and so sometimes they pass those things to you from the pulpit oh this is my experience it was so real it was so real the reality of your experience does not invalidate the word of god the word of god is not subject to a man's experience a man's experience is subject to the authority of god's word because god's word is suffering over men's experiences and sometimes you may need to take a shield of faith against some people's experiences you may need to put on a shield of faith against it we are not supposed to duplicate experiences we are supposed to grow in the world and have our own experiences from the word of god we are not supposed to duplicate people's experiences we are supposed to grow in the word of god and by growth in the word of god have our own experiences from the word of god because sometimes we need to be against religious pulpits you just hear them say i know what i am saying i have been in this christianity before you and no word of god in the discourse you've been a christian and you cannot explain a context of scripture you should be ashamed to even speak in public you should be ashamed to brag about it because christianity the age in christianity is not equivalent to spiritual growth you can be a christian for 40 years and a new christian of one week can be more mature than you in the things of god because it is not calendar age that defines maturity it is word growth growth in the world it says as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the world that you may grow thereby then he says grow in knowledge and grow in grace so grace is a function of growth in the knowledge of christ growth in the knowledge of christ it doesn't really matter how many people are not working in the world you must make up your mind it doesn't matter how many people are not working in the world you deliberately unintentionally make up your mind to walk the world and walk in the world you know in the whole nation of israel only two man christ is a man and we've established that he is a man spirit soul and body let's make an observation the book of first john chapter four first john chapter four verse number one beloved believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of god because many false prophets are gone out into the world verse two hereby know ye the spirit of god every spirit that confesseth that jesus christ is come in the flesh every spirit that confesses that jesus christ is come in the flesh is of god verse 3 and every spirit that confesseth not that jesus christ is come in the flesh is not of god and this is that spirit of antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world i was taught that antichrist when i was growing up is some man somewhere is a man somewhere now before i get into my story so christ is a man spirit soul and body so antichrist from what i was taught i used to think that he was a man very powerful and he controls the whole world he gives a number 666 and if you don't have the number you cannot buy you cannot eat and you cannot travel but you look at the bible and let the bible speak for itself because if you don't look at the bible you can be swayed and tossed to and fro and carried about a messed up if you refuse to submit to sound bible teaching you will be a victim of muthus fables old wife fables old wife fables that is what happens when people don't want to sit down and be taught the word of god first john again chapter four verse one let's read it carefully and let the bible speak for itself take note of the tenses beloved believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of god because many false prophets are gone out into the world next verse hereby know ye the spirit of god this is how you know the spirit of god every spirit that confesses that jesus christ is come in the flesh is of god next verse and every spirit that confesses not that jesus christ is come in the flesh is not of god and this is that spirit of antichrist or this is that of antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world spirits want to be believed vasu says many false prophets are gone out into the world vastly says you hear that it should come it's already in the world now the word antichrist is used five times five times by brother john john was the one who used that terminology antichrist he used it in first john chapter 4 verse 3 and every spirit that confesses not that jesus christ is come in the flesh is not of god and this is that of antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world first john chapter 2 verse 18 little children it is the last time and as you have heard that antichrist shall come even now are there many if your bible is mine you underline the word many are there many antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time antichrist twice in that verse twice is mentioned have you noticed now that on two occasions when john uses antichrist it's implural not singular antichrist is in plural in first john chapter 4 he said false prophets plural that is the spirit of antichrist false prophets that is the spirit of antichrist again he uses antichrist as plural first john chapter 2 verse 22 who is a liar but he that deny it that jesus is the christ he he didn't say he that denied jesus christ he that deny it that jesus is the man he that denied that jesus is the christ he is antichrist that denied the father and the son he is the antichrist that denied father and son ii john chapter 1 verse 7 for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not that jesus christ is come in the flesh this is a deceiver and an antichrist this is a deceiver so is antichrist used in singular or plural plural where it was used singular it was used to describe the plural so we have seen how many references where the antichrist is used plural in plural form about three times so is antichrist still coming is there an antichrist coming in front antichrist is already around and when this later was written when they said antichrist is already around was 2 000 years ago so the antichrist have been around for 2 000 years now it's not a new revelation antichrist is not what we're expecting antichrist is has already been around for 2000 years and he said the antichrist is already calm the point is there there is a lie thrown at us about what antichrist is they have lied to us and deceived us and because we don't know much we can discern who the antichrist is you know if they have the wrong information about something even if you see it you won't recognize it because the information you have is not accurate john was very clear in his description he says the antichrist plural look at this the one antichrist let's clear this what's the word christ the man the greek word christos the hebrew word messiah which is messiah hebrew so antichrist will be one who opposes christ anti against christ or one who acts instead of one who opposes christ what is a unique feature of the antichrist let me show you another portion that has been mixed up in same way i explained to you when jesus said one shall be left and the other shall be taken away you remember that parabolic matthew one shall be left and the other shall be taken away we assume that the one left is the unbeliever the one taken away is a believer but in matthew 24 he says the one that shall be taken away will be taken away by judgment the one that will be left is the one that was saved he said just like in the days of noah the floods came and took them away those that were partying those that rejected the gospel the flood took them away and those that remain in the ark were those that were saved so the one taking is the unbeliever the one that remains is the believer the one taken is taken by judgment now so something will change in your thinking if you read that scripture or the way i just explained so sometimes is the fact that we don't make observation remember in bible interpretation one of the major things is observation that's why when we teach empower city and you know among our churches we take time to explain in details a misinterpretation of the scripture converts a whole denomination there are many churches that are built on a misinterpretation of the scripture it's important to know that a scripture can be misunderstood and a denomination can be built out of a misunderstood scripture now we have settled the fact that antichrist is plural that should change the way you think because if you are thinking of one wall ruler that will control all the world you are thinking hollywood or hollywood or bollywood because that's not bible bible does he have one man that will control the whole world what the bible has is plural for antichrist i have also said to you that god communicates with us in words words we have to pay attention to words the entire revelation of god is given to man via the instrumentality of words look at matthew 24 or verse 5 for many shall come in my name saying i am christ i shall deceive many look at what jesus did not say notice again jesus didn't use one single person he said many shall come it is a one person shall come and he explains himself he said many will come in my name and it refers to them as false prophets verse 24 of matthew 24 for there shall arise false christ's false christs and false prophets all plural and shall show great signs and wonders in so much that if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect so again does jesus use plural or singular plural so you see it's plural not singular person so the word sue the prophets false sue the prophet jesus didn't say antichrist jesus used pseudochrist john used antichrist jesus used false christs pseudochrist all right now please pay attention pseudochrist is a deceiver then he uses pseudo prophets antichrist is to oppose pseudochrist is to deceive notice the difference antichrist to oppose pseudochristos deceive false christ is to pretend like you are antichrist is to oppose so false christ deceive pretend antichrist oppose pseudo to pretend untie to oppose are they the same are they the same to pretend and to oppose are they the same no all right now opposed will mean to go against so was john and jesus saying the same thing were they saying the same thing pseudo christ antichrist pseudo christ deceived antichrist opposed were they saying the same thing no okay false prophet is different from antichrist now while jesus said the false christ and false prophets there will be lying signs and wonders in jesus context john doesn't talk about that while the focus of the false prophets and false christ is signs and wonders the focus of the antichrist is not signs and wonders false prophets false christs we use a lot of magic a lot of signs and wonders to wow people and blow them away but antichrist will not use signs and wonders first john chapter 2 verse 19 they went out from us but they were not of us for if they had been of us they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us look at verse 18 of that chapter little children it is the last time and as you have heard that antichrist shall come even now are there many antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time verse 19. they went out from us they're not coming from the sky somewhere they've been among us they went out from us but they were not of us for if they had been of us they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us so they went out from among us look at verse 20 but you have an unction from the holy one and you know all things what is the all things that you know that is referring to that is you will identify them you know all these things these things look at verse 22 and 23 of first john chapter 2 who is a liar but he denied that jesus is the christ he is antichrist that deny it the father and the son 23 whosoever denied the song the same had not deferred but he that acknowledged the son had the father also who is antichrist antichrist denies jesus christ he denies jesus christ he also denies the father go to verse 26 of first john 2. these things have written unto you concerning them that seduce you to seduce means to leo to leo he calls the person a liar so the antichrist will falsify the facts of scripture they will they will they are plural the antichrist will falsify the facts of scripture that is he will misrepresent christ that is he will misrepresent the facts antichrist will misrepresent christ he will misrepresent the facts so what facts will he misrepresent the word to deny is a compound word in the greek unknown i a r n e o n a i are no nine it means to disown it means to contradict it's an active tense unknown eye it means to disown it means to contradict is an active things that is antichrist must be contradicting a certain fact must be contradicting a certain fact the antichrist will contradict a certain fact you know there are certain things you can contradict because you are ignorant a man can say i don't believe i am delivered even though i am born again i need deliverance that doesn't make him an antichrist that just means he's ignorant okay some christians are just ignorant or some who don't know that they're eternally saved so they keep saying you can lose salvation the fact that somebody says you can lose salvation doesn't make him an antichrist he just means his ignorance therefore he keeps himself in bondage and never enjoys the joy that salvation brings now those are not vital we can disagree on that for example peter and the apostles were talking about circumcision in chapter 15 of earth as a condition for salvation yet nobody called them antichrist so what are the people contradicting because it must be very important there's something these people contradict what exactly do they deny by misrepresenting the facts that is what are they twisting what facts are they twisting go back again to first john chapter four verse one beloved believe not every spirit but try the spirits whether they are of god because many false prophets are gone out into the world pay attention to us too hereby know ye the spirit of god every spirit that confesses that jesus christ is come in the flesh is of god next verse and every spirit that confesses not that jesus christ is come in the flesh is not of god and this is that spirit of antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come and even now already is it in the world so what is the fact that the antichrist will contradict the humanity of jesus the antichrist will teach against the humanity of jesus the antichrist will teach that jesus was never born into this earth that jesus was never a man that is one of the fundamental things that the spirit of antichrist will twist the fact of the incarnation and make the incarnation not sound real that's the first fact very fundamental notice jesus is come in the flesh that is the deity and the humanity so the spirit of antichrist will teach against the humanity of christ and by implication it will also teach against the deity of christ now it's either it will deny the humanity or it would deny the deity of christ or it would deny the humanity and the deity either of them is antichrist either of them is antichrist antichrist is a teaching it is not a word ruler is a mindset is a teaching that opposes christ and anti something that is against christ is a teaching that denies the humanity of christ or the deity of christ if i say i come in the flesh what was i before so to say that christ is coming the flesh means he was god so if you oppose his humanity automatically you have opposed his deity see that you have opposed his day so far so for jesus to come in the flesh means he pre-existed as deity that means anyone that distorts those facts will be called an antichrist anyone that distorts those facts will be called an antichrist so can you see that the fact of jesus humanity and deity is so vital to christianity the humanity and the deity of christ is fundamental to christianity it's not about prosperity healing we cannot disagree on all of that we can disagree on whether women's hair should be short or long we can disagree on whether women should wear trolls out to the church or not we can disagree on whether pastors should wear suits or wear natives all those are non-essential those are they don't they are not worth wasting time on but by the time we start looking at the facts of redemption if you deny that jesus is god or you deny that jesus is a man then you and i have no basis of meeting that's why certain organizations and you know i don't like calling names certain organizations accept that jesus is a baby but reject that jesus is god that's antichrist some other organizations accept that jesus is god and he cannot be a man that is antichrist other religions believe that jesus is a prophet he cannot be god that religion is antichrist so antichrist is not a person is a teaching in a particular religion or in a particular organization that attacks the humanity or the deity of christ or both of them that is antichrist and it has been around it's not coming it's been around and don't forget that we are among us so they speak our language but they attack fundamentally the deity or humanity of christ listen carefully listen careful any group that denies the deity or humanity they are not christians even if they call themselves christians they are not is open is clear from scripture both of them but the humanity and the deity of christ must be affirmed before we can attest to the fact that you are of god that's the fact look at verse two again of that first john chapter four hereby know ye know ye hereby this is how you know the spirit of god are you following is in your bible every spirit that confesses that jesus christ is come in the flesh is of god look at those three and every spirit that confesseth not that jesus christ is come in the flesh is not of god this is the spirit of antichrist that confesses and that's the word homologio homologio means to say it from your heart to say it from your heart that is something you believe in your heart some who does not believe in his heart that christ is god or belief that christ is not a man that person is antichrist so antichrist is a teaching in people is a teaching that has entered people and created in them a belief system that opposes christ anyone with such a belief system that opposes the deity and humanity of christ is antichrist the teaching is what produces antichrist the teacher and the thought both the teacher and the thought because when the thoughts are taught and they embrace it they oppose christ both the teacher and the thought that is why you can't afford to just listen to any preacher anyhow he must be subject to the authority of scripture and scriptures must be well explained sheikh balada spirit that do not believe that jesus has come in the flesh that word in the greek is the word a sacrament a sacrament it means to come into that is deity has come into humanity deity has entered humanity has come in the flesh deity has become a man you must acknowledge it so the humanity of christ which i've been teaching for two weeks now is so vital to the gospel any faith that sees jesus as a prophet is not of god any faith that doesn't see jesus as god is not of god those groups are antichrists somebody said you know all of us are serving this god same god we are not all serving the same god we are not all serving the same god my god is jesus christ that is my god my god is jesus christ and this jesus christ my god is a man who are not all serving the same god live that thing we are not also having the same god my god is jesus christ and jesus christ my god is a man is it getting clear now so he says if you deny both the divinity and humanity of christ you are antichrist look at ii john chapter 1 verse 7 for many deceivers i entered into the world who confess not that jesus christ is come in the flesh this is a deceiver and an antichrist so brother john calls them deceivers so stop looking for antichrist that has a long horn you can spot antichrist in their writings in their books in their magazines you can spot antichrist in books that are published antichrist can be seen preaching on television radio or social media that's where to find antichrist because antichrist is a spirit antichrist is a spirit in a message antichrist is a spirit in a message that's why you must be careful when listening to a message to ensure that it aligns contextually with scripture that's why it says believe not every spirit so the antichrist is that which denies the facts of the gospel that christ died he was buried on the third day he rose and that christ is god who became a man those are the facts of the gospel come to first john chapter 5 verse 1 whosoever believeth that jesus is the christ is born of god and everyone that loved him that begot loved him also that is begotten of him he talks about jesus begotten of him so the flesh is not just physical body the flesh is his human nature that's the fact of the gospel so a message a teaching a preaching a teaching a preaching a song a message that denies either the divinity or humanity of christ or both is an antichrist message what about churches that worship the mother of jesus beyond jesus and do not believe that jesus is god antichrist antichrist look at luke 24 when jesus rose from the dead here his words his humanity is so critical he had to prove it those folks who saw him three and a half years knew that he was a man they touched him they held him it was so vital he had to prove it he cried he was tired he sat down he slept and snowed they had to wake him up his humanity was so important because that's fundamental when he rose from the dead he told them handle me he showed them his hand they said no he said give me something to eat they're getting fish he ate he sat among them he dwelt with them for 40 days to prove that i was a man before i died i'm a man after i rose because the humanity of christ is fundamental that is where identification comes once you miss that you have no gospel to preach that's the call of the gospel that's the call but when he died they had a problem with the fact that he was risen they were not sure he was the same person so what did jesus do look at luke 24 37 but they were terrified and frightened and supposed that they had seen a spirit 38. and he said unto them why are you troubled and why do thoughts arise in your heart 39 behold my hands and my feet that it is i myself handle me and see for a spirit i'm not a spirit i'm a human being for a spirit have not flesh and bones as you see me have verse 40. and when he had those spoken he showed them actually the greek of that show means he undressed he removed his clothes so that the wounding cloth was covered he was he he was bare before them so that they can feel him that's how important it was for the humanity of christ to be proven after resurrection jesus was particular to prove to them that he was human you know he rose again human and when he came back he came back human because he came as a man died as a man buried as a man rose as a man ascended to heaven as a man god who became a man his humanity is tangible he said touch me they touched him and he was normal jesus rose from the dead spirit soul and body so if we identified with jesus it means we are identified with jesus spirit soul and body so let's get to paul paul uses identification either as verbs adverbs or adjectives that's the language of identification in the polite theology as verbs adverbs or adjectives he uses the word as of as of paul christ and peter's christ either christ of the four gospels of christ at the right hand of god so if he says in christ by christ for christ he is referring to that person by christ for christ in christ so paul uses us off in from by and for i repeat paul uses us off in from by and for we will look at each one because they mean the same thing as of in by from four active christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenlies take note of the word in look at ephesians chapter 2 verse 6 and has raised us up together and made us sit notice we explain that jesus's glory the glory that will follow according to luke 24 25 26 that glory is the glory of his resurrection and ascension that means we will identify with his death we will identify with his barrier we will identify with his resurrection and ascension so those are identification realities identification realities we must know what each fact represents in our lives in romans chapter five brother paul lays a foundation actually the book of romans is brother paul's revelation of righteousness the book of romans is the book where the theology the polite theology of righteousness is exhausted there was a background between romans chapter 3 and romans chapter 4. to get what paul is saying in romans chapter 5 and 6 a quick one john 17 21 that they all may be one as thou father art in me and i indeed that they also may be one in us that the world may believe that thou has sent me next verse and the glory and the glory and the glory which thou givers me i have given them that there may be one even as we are the word glory is he talking about church unity in verse 22 gathering of churches that there may be one in me is talking about an inseparable union with christ all right he said the glory you gave me i have given them that they may be one in us look at john chapter 14 verse 3 and if i go and prepare a place for you i will come again and receive you unto myself that where i am there you may be also where i am you may be so there are two things we have seen two elements of disidentification two elements number one identification in person that they may be one in us as i am one with you in person so we have identification in person where i am you may be so number one who i am number two where i am so we identify with who he is his person then we identify with where he is by implication what he is where he is and by implication what he is when you are born of your father you have the same genes and your dad ended up becoming the
