I need them like well I need a personal offense shotgun so that's why I got this and we don't have a pistol for defending on this end of the house so that's that's why we needed that this one though I just feel like mayor is just not reasonable enough to to think it's a good reason this is my Tyrannosaurus gun just in case like in Jurassic Park they prove that it could happen they could come back and you need a trance or gun whoa it's an ar-15 so you might be like man that doesn't seem like a train of source gun well let me just tell you a little more about it this is an Alexander Arms ar-15 and you may notice something is a little different than your standard ar-15 maybe a but a wee bit bigger than usual just a hair bigger before we delve into that though you guys know I like air fourteens I have a couple of them but I didn't have an OD green one yet so this is kind of hard to see but this is a nice OD green really pretty gun I've got tan fde I've got burnt bronze I've got black I've got a maroon I've got camo that it it's probably it's probably oh not got gold but I didn't have ODG yet and yeah looks good nice slim grip up front very nice single stage trigger I love it I put a ACOG on the top so besides this this ar-15 doesn't look all that different from the outside I don't look very different from the outside either sorry about that this gun has such a giant muzzle break because it is chambered in a giant round let me show ya this is it 5.56 that's the round that mostly r15s are chambered in it's got a cute little 22 caliber bullet but it's powerful this is a 7.62 by 39 bigger bullet not going as fast but also very powerful this is what ak-47s are chambered in and some ar-15s just so you can cinch wanted you to know I would presume if you're watching this video that you've probably seen other videos of mine and you've probably seen and heard of the Desert Eagle chambered in 50 AE it's a 50 Cal Desert Eagle it's awesome everybody knows that's a super powerful round this is a 50 AE you can see it's fatter but it's shorter because it's fired out of a pistol those are rifle rounds you guys also know that a 500 Magnum is a very powerful round and it's more powerful than a 50 AE this is a 500 Magnum this gun over here is chambered in something more powerful than all of these calibers it's a 50 Cal and they call it the 50 beowulf boom boom you can tell these are 50 cals because they're same diameters of 500 m and the 50 AE you can also tell they're made to be shot at a rifle because it is the same height as the 5.56 but obviously looks a lot more powerful it takes up the whole magazine I love it look at this freak it can you focus just focus oh my goodness gracious so you're telling me that we have the power of a 500 Magnum actually more power because it's bigger and it's coming out of a rifle length barrel so we have a lot more power than a 500 Magnum and it's in a semi-auto gun it's gonna be way more accurate than me flinching shooting that revolver pistol this is a great idea if it functions it's great I love everything about it let's smack a metal target now I can hold up against this but but I want to find out I intentionally wore sleeveless shirt today so that you can see how red my arm gets after shooting this thing to make sure we're not denting our plate now this is perfect this is perfect you're looking a little rough lately buddy it's like you've been hit with some some big rounds over time I mean you're tough proud of you I'm happy to fat came to cane store right now you guys know I like big rounds but I don't like big rounds that hurt me this one's perfect it lets you know it's there but it don't hurt oh oh man but it's gonna deliver some energy downrange can you imagine if this was your home defense weapon bad guy breaks in your house and you're like Shh wrong house boom bad guy down from what I understand fifty beowulf was specifically designed to be shot out of an ar-15 it was designed to be a super heavy hitter for short to medium range distances in a semi automatic package which is pretty great I mean that's what a three in a blackout is it's supposed to be more power than a 5.56 out of the same package same with when they make an ar-15 run a 760 by 39 same with a 6.8 spc with a 458 SOCOM that was a big round but this is bigger so you have the most power out of a ar-15 a standard sized ar-15 and you have semi-auto capability throwing 50 caliber led down right well brass in this case we do have lead bullets though look at that thing look at that freaking unfocused monster so this round is obviously designed for home protection of course it's designed for law enforcement anyone who wants like ultimate stopping power people have used it to take down elk moose bear Buffalo out of a small ar-15 package which is pretty cool this is a light gun that fires a heavy round it's perfect [Music] boys okay just too much power where'd I get these other louboutin yeah thanks for noticing you're so sweet people like to talk about stopping power and a lot of people switch from a regular air 15 chambered in 5.56 because they say that five five six does not have enough stopping power and so they'll switch to a seven six two by 39 a 300 blackout 6.8 spc or sometimes they upgrade to a 308 so just to give you an idea a five five six has about 1,200 foot-pounds of energy when it hits something and so some people go up to the a K around 7 6 - which has about 1,500 foot-pounds of energy some people want way more than that so they'll upgrade to a 308 which has like 2600 foot-pounds a lot more but a 308 is fired out of a bigger gun because it's a much bigger cartridge this 50 Beowulf is fired out of the exact same size gun that a five five six is fired out of but the stopping power is greater than a 308 some cartridges have as much as 2,900 pounds of energy downrange out of a regular-sized ar-15 I loaded this one all the way up we have one of the exact same rounds we've been shooting those brass rounds they're 350 grain and then the rest of the mag is full of 7 400 grain lead projectiles those are the ones that make twenty-nine hundred foot-pounds so I assume the second through eighth rounds will kick more than this first one there's like waves in the water now we have six total layers I think it will break through 3 1 2 3 how many 1 2 6 do you think b-fifty Beowulf will break through you probably could hear my truck being pelted I too was being pelted because you shouldn't shoot cinder blocks this close with such a powerful round to bamm-bamm no hit there [Music] can we all just agree that muzzle brakes are awesome totally tames it giant round doesn't hardly kick the gun up at all pretty crazy okay Matt you have proved that this gun delivers a lot of energy and it's great for shooting things that are 20 feet from you but how good is it at long range great that you asked that question because I want to know that myself right there is a full-size silhouette torso target at 100 yards we are exactly a hundred yards away from it let's see if we can ping it that's a perfect shot right in the middle let's see if I can headshot him at 100 yards Wow the winds blowing me all right no more excuses just a head shot I'm just gonna walk you up and show you that because I'm real proud of those two shots Matt how those shots go oh the one I went center mass it did pretty good the one I went to Center head it went pretty good too not to toot my own horn but I'm kind of amazing let's push it back a little further see we can do it 200 yards 200 yards away now I'm zoomed super far in and the zoom is super slow and loud on this thing that's our target way over there I just did a little research and it looks like at 200 yards if you're zeroed at 100 which I am you can expect about an 11 inch drop so I think if I aim at the top of the head of the target it should hit center mass assuming I can do my part that's a hit I like it that's super cool so on their website they claim that this caliber is for short to medium distances I would say that's correct you wouldn't say like long distance but up to 200 yards I can hit a man-sized target every time which is pretty good with a 50 Cal out of an air 15 pretty neat I have one more thing I need to do its I kinda have to get some work done thanks to you guys so about a week ago we sold these shirts these tank tops on the back it says tis but a bullet hole and that's because I'm gonna shoot guts I'm so sweaty it's like so sticky and humid out here but I shot this shirt with a 50 BMG and I said we're selling these and I'm gonna shoot them all 250 Cal I said 50 Cal I did not say 50 BMG so some of them I shot with a 50 BMG and then I thought about this gun I was like that might work we'd only stacked about 150 shirts for gets too thick to wear the bullets will start turning even a 50 BMG but I was like will a 50 beowulf go through 150 shirts so have you saw an off the ranch we built these and between them I have 150 shirt actually this one's less this one's like 100 that was 150 shirts so I need to shoot them there's the logo I want to shoot it kind of on this side right about right about right there and this one's the logos the other way so I need to shoot this one right about there so I'm gonna shoot on the inside of both of these will a 50 beowulf go through 150 t-shirts I think it 100% will yeah they put it right there that was perfect all right let's go ahead and shoot the 150 shirts as well perfect and in case you're wondering these shirts are not for sale anymore I made a big mistake in doing this because it's a lot of work but that's a great shot and went all the way through look at that and then 150 went through that as well 50 Beowulf is actually better I think the 50 BMG goes so fast that it really doesn't rip a 50 caliber hole in the shirts it's smaller it looks like a 308 went through it as you can see this looks more like a 50 Cal went through it you can see they're also gonna be different like the front ones are kind of burned a little bit and the back ones are kind of tattered because it's it's slowing down a bit the back ones yeah that's look at that exit hole so that is a 50 Cal hole right there I think 50 beowulf is actually gonna give us better result I saw a lot to shoot so if you ordered one of these shirts like a week ago it's we're still behind and we're trying to catch up I did not realize how popular they would be I appreciate your orders and we're getting to them but they may not ship out til the next
