TERRIBLE CHILDHOOD ACCIDENTS (Story Time)

I would fall I would trip I would walk into walls. I had no depth perception Whatsoever. I would walk into tables and be shocked to said this table just appeared out of nowhere and just punched my ribcage When I wasn't looking I was so clumsy that one day I started crying in front of my aunt because I tripped A G A I N, I got super emotional because I couldn't handle being best friends with the floor So I tripped and they cried. Hey why are you crying? I'm just so clumsy and everyone just keeps laughing at me. Hey, hEy, hey hEY, you know why they laugh because it's funny That doesn't really make me feel any better If you fall you have to own it Strike a pose! Then you tell them you can't do that! Can you?? but what if they still laugh at me don't ever be embarrassed for making people laugh Because not everyone can do that Okay? That was my very first life lesson I could either be embarrassed about my dumb mistakes Which I have a lot of or I could learn and laugh about it and make other people laugh in the process So with this in mind Let me tell you about the day. I almost lost the game of life My grandma and my grandma's sister were watching me play outside on the streets of the Philippines I was feeling like such a baller going round and round on my little purple Tricycle there would be cars the natural tricycles going through the streets every 10 minutes or so I'd have to go on the sidewalks for a little bit and then it'd be allowed to be on the streets again I was a good child I always listened and followed the rules but see here's the thing no matter how much you follow the rules as a kid You are at the mercy of your very own imagination with that said I saw a tricycle and my brain went Peace out reality and I started narrating the scene in my brain as if it was a movie The tricycle is going at the speed of light vRoOm vRoOm But my tricycle is way faster. Can I do it cam ride it all the way to the other side? vRoOm vRoOm I'll make you proud grandma. *engine starting* sKrRrtT Did I make it Honestly, I don't really know how I'm still alive because that was just the morning Uh yeah kid Den wasn't done playing to roulette of life. I was just getting started so That night I was waiting for my dad to finish dinner and I went upstairs so I can go to bed But dad took a little bit longer to eat his dinner and I figured I could put in some extra Playtime before going to bed. It's perfect. I took my toys and brought them. Can you guess where? Next to my dad where he's eating no in the living room where my dad can see me No, I wasn't smart enough. What about the very edge of a staircase? You guessed it my dumb dumb dummy dumb kid logic thought I Can see that from the staircase and if I could see him then he could see me I love my dad and he's protected me from a lot of dangers in life. But what I could say is Parents can't really protect you from a thing called gravity and just like that. My imagination is once again Betrayed me because you know, what would be a better idea if I became a mountain climber what? Yeah, I know my tiny brain decided. Oh, hey. Yes 9 p.m. I should be a mountain climber The staircase became my playground and I was pretending that I was climbing Mount Everest And my toys were cheering me on to get to the top but alas I didn't make it my depth perception Also betrayed me that night. I reached my hand out and I missed last rail and- *falling down staircase* *crashing* *heart monitor beeping* Everything was quiet. I wasn't in pain. It was just quiet wake up, please wake up dad please wake up! please! please wake up! It woke up to my dad's voice and everything was red My dad was crying and it was the only time I've ever seen him cry. He never cries He was holding my face because I was bleeding Please don't fall asleep Spoilers I uh- Survived, but do you understand that I saw the light and I walked away I asked my dad recently what happened because my memory only goes as far as being on the couch Because I don't really remember the hospital Huh? Why would we go to the hospital? Because I fell down the stairs and I was bleeding out on the couch possibly having a concussion. I know you're alive, right? Yeah, if I took you to the hospital, they would stitch you up and then you'll have scars so how I Pinched your eye until you stopped bleeding Filipino parents hate hospitals and doctors and it's literally their kryptonite Honestly, I'm just shocked. I was able to fall down the stairs and survive it without going to the hospital.
