So we found a hotel online for about 40 bucks a night The website looks like a Myspace page But George insisted that it looked legit And the hotel looked like it was classy, old-timey, and kinda like one of those old Victorian places And when we got there, OooOOoo BoOoOy Old was an understatement There were ornaments and statues covering every inch of that hotel You know that smell when you walk into your grandparents' house And there's just a smell of old things Like in the back of your head You know for a fact that there's a slight chance your just inhaling a bunch of mold at its bestest But it's just the old smell that made me smell the old people smell Which smells really specific, oddly enough We rang the front desk and waited for a good 5 minutes Rang some more, and eventually an older lady comes out She looked really upset that we were there in the first place Like we interrupted something that she was doing But, okay, no biggie She checks us in and tells to us to go to the elevator and ring the bell We didn't really think much of it So, we rang the random bell by the elevator The elevator door opens, and there was this guy He didn't get off, so we got in [Guy] What floor? [Past CypherDen] Oh, um, fourth floor please [Present CypherDen]I thought this guy was going to punch in my floor number But instead, this guy turns around and starts cranking the elevator My guy, cranking When I rang that bell, I didn't expect to be summoning a human being No lie though, I was actually really fascinated But also low-key hella concerned Because this elevator sounded like it was struggling And while he was turned around cranking this old rickety box That we'll probably drop if I ate one more burrito I noticed this big giant lump on the back of his neck Hope he's okay and he doesn't have Ligma But here's the thing I love scary movies I see all that and a bunch of red flags are just going off in my mind Creepy hotel, creepy hotel employee that looked like he just came out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre At an absurdly cheap price in the middle of nowhere This definitely sounds that I'll probably die tonight [Lump/Guy] Just ring the bell if you need me You kids have fun now [CypherDen] If we die tonight, this is all your fault [George] You're being silly (George looks like Star's friend Marco but sounds like that keytar dude Oskar. Anyone else noticed???) [CypherDen] So, we go in our hotel room and there was no airconditioning It's literally 98° outside So we decided, you know what we can't really complain Because we paid like 40 bucks for this room So We'll stay outside at the casinos and at the malls All day until night time Either that, or we'll probably die of heatstroke In our own hotel room, instead of creepy psycho clown or something We unpacked and I headed to the bathroom I walked into the wall by accident You're probably like: "Oh, Den you're so dumb, "How'd you even manage to do that?" Alright, alright I know for a fact that I'm usually super clumsy But that room felt like it started to shift a little I looked at the floor and I tried to walk back And that floor OooOooo My LoRd My GuY That floor was actually slanted Forget the elevator, forget the creepy guy, forget the heat stroke This room is hella crooked! The bathroom door doesn't even look like it fit the door frame A good chunk of the top of the door was chopped off So when I look down, I could see George's feet through the door What even is this crooked building? And that's why I refuse to use the elevator Not because of the creepy elevator guy This building is legit tipping over It ain't no way will I get on an elevator delivering me straight to hell Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah That's just asking some Final Destination stuff to happen Not today death No thank you So me and George stayed out all day playing mini golf And ya girl completely destroyed George and a bunch of 10 year olds in Go Kart First place, booyah A win's a win J-just had to show these kids who the real boss is you know After just destroying a bunch of uh... 10 year olds It was starting to get late, and we were tired I was already 1 AM so we get back to our hotel Ummm.... so here's the thing I don't really know how else to describe this So you remember the scene from Jurrasic Park 3 Where they're on a boat after digging through dinosaur poop for a cellphone and then BAAAM! A Spinosaurus Rex attacks so they all get in the cage, for um.. safety? Imagine that boat cage right in front of the hotel entrance And it was locked You know when you something in the morning and its not creepy at all Then you see it at night and kinda start questioning your life decisions Like that hallway of yours completely fine in the morning Then, at 3 AM when you're trying to get ice cream You start hearing things and you're like: "Yup. There's probably like 3 ghosts, Freddy Krueger and a grizzly bear, "Just chilling in the end of that hallway" Then your dumb cat doesn't make it any better Because he's just staring at the wall for a good 5 minutes We knocked and we yelled for the angry old lady from earlier and nothing So, um, here's the thing Do you really wanna go back in there? Like we have no idea if people are being eaten alive by dinosaurs in there As far as I know it They're trapped and we're safe [George] If we stay in here, we'll have to deal with the drunks, the druggies, and the crazies We'll probably get robbed [CypherDen] Alright, fine, we'll go with the dinosaurs So after 20 minutes of being locked out We realized that there was a bar connected to the side of our hotel We talked to the bartender and explained what happened in hopes that he'll call someone or open the gates [Bartender] Come here behind the bar and take the staircase [CypherDen] Um, what? I've never seen a creepier staircase that lead to a bright red door One light bulb and just a bright red door Did they base this off of Insidious? So, um, you know if this was a horror movie, I'd probably survive And I'd probably have to rescue you Just a heads up if that happens You're probably kind of screwed [George] Gee, thanks [CypherDen] I'm just being honest I'm gonna run like a little *censored* So we walked the stairs and each step was getting louder and louder I swear if there was a jumpscare at any point of that I would've probably died from a heart attack right there and then We go through the door and we found our way back in the lobby Through the utility closet Ummm... Okay No one was there and it was complete silence And we weren't about to call out to every single psychopath out there by going: "Hello.. anyone there?" (How everyone dies in the movie) Or by ringing that bell and summoning Mr. Elevator Guy So we go through the staircase And Oh My Damn It looked like it came right out of a movie Windows wide open, curtains blowing in the air I was gonna die here This was legit a horror movie waiting to happen ALSO If there was a little girl playing in the end of that staircase, I would've punch her out of existance Or let's be real I probably would've roll down the stairs out of sure panic Or use George as a bait, because on ghosts ain't keeping me in that hotel I-I mean.. so I could go... call for help Fight or flight I'd be booking out of there, faster than you can blink Okay, let's take a step back It's probably just my imagination going wild And I've probably watch too many horror movies Played way too many horror games So let's just go in the room And just sleep, just lock the doors and we're good We decided to stay in for the night And in the morning, the lady at the front desk Told us that they just locked the front gates Since they went to go use the bathroom You know, that's completely logical But my brain is on Silent Hill mode at this point Once the sirens goes off I know things are about to go down But those sirens haven't gone off yet And everything is still peachy We stayed out again the whole day, Destroyed more kids at Go Kart and at 2 AM we get back And the gates were locked again Talked to the bartender again Staircase, red door, staircase, and got back to our lovely hotel room At around 3 AM we hear knocking *initiate knocking* Obviously, we don't answer because it's 3 AM And we're sleeping And just... WHY? The knocking becomes banging then our doorknob starts shaking Someone's legitimately trying to get into our hotel room [Guy] Let me in [CypherDen] We don't respond because crazy people and drunk people are probably just getting back to their hotels at this time [George] I'll just tell them off [CypherDen] Are you the crazy one? This is either an actual crazy person Or drunkards And I'm pretty sure that's not a dinosaur But either way they're probably crazy [George] You're just overthinking it [CypherDen] Okay but we've never actually seen anyone else in this hotel It's been just us, the front desk lady, and elevator guy NO ONE ELSE [George] Chill, don't worry about it [CypherDen] Okay, I'll assist If they're crazy I'll throw my toothbrush at them (OOF) I got chu Before George even got to the door The rustling stops And the voice starts laughing *insert creepy laughing* (OH GOD) George and I looked at each other confused to what the heck is even going on And eventually the laughter faded (magic i guess?) We barely slept that night Just from confusion and that someone was trying to break in while we're sleeping We wake up that morning and. WE. CHECKED. OUT. We bounced out of that place that we were just GONE I'm pretty sure that place isn't even haunted But, wasn't even gonna stay to found out Like. NO. Just 100% NO.
