I always admired people who have the balls to go in the wild alone. Ive always felt uncomfortable being in the wild alone since i feel very vulnerable(which your are) and everything sounds scary at night. I would probably do it but never without a gun and dog. I used to go atv-ing on trails and when i would get to far from civilizaiton i would always get this eerie feeling that something is watching me or that i can die from an animal attack.
Duuuude abso-fucking-lutely. I mentioned his name in the guest req thread a month or so ago. Would be a great episode imo.
How does one find trails and camp sites. Do you just go ruck until you find some spot. I really want to start doing this. I understand how to spot a good site but I mean in general what the rules for being close to trails or cities is more what I'm after.
Yeah, that guy's cool. I've watched a few of his videos.
Oh wow.
I was thinking, "Yeah there's no way I'm watching 2 hours of this."
Like 1 minute into it when he's talking about the birch tree I thought, "Ok there goes my next 2 hours"
Thanks for the link OP!
Does somebody know what kind of jacket he is wearing?
Cool guy just dunno what he would bring to a 2-3 hour podcast. Joe has way more interesting outdoorsman on his podcast than a dude whose content is primarily one-night shanty's in mild weather lol.
Not hating the guy, I watch his vids regularly. Just looking at this from a bizness 209 perspective, every farenheit of angle y'know?
Joe's the man. Camping Joe not MMA Joe.
Joerobinet is good but his videos can be very drawn out. Good guy though. Wish he had lasted longer in Alone.
