a [ __ ] here we go again hell divers 2 had a big patch the other day so today I want to revisit the age old question of what is the best build in the game right now as always I'll give my little disclaimer that this is all one man's opinion and you should not harass or kick other people from your fire team if they don't use the meta options people can use what they like and with that out of the way let's talk meta I'm going to break the best loadout question into two sections one for termined Missions and one for automaton missions cuz what's best is going to shift a bit for each and before you even say it I know our current major order implies automatons May soon be removed from the game entirely but if you think we're never going to see them ever again down the line I want whatever you're smoking first up bug missions and why don't we kick things off with the best strategy picks out of your four options I have three hard picks right now with the fourth being a bit of a flex pick depending on the type of mission first hard pick the orbital rail Cannon strike which I worry will eventually get tweaked cuz it's been shining bright for a long time now the orbital rail is your go two option for damaging or finishing bile Titans and Flatout one-shotting Chargers in a pinch the orbital rail's greatest strengths are its guaranteed lock on the not too bad cooldown time and unlimited usage it is literally never a bad pick and I can't believe it keeps evading the arrowhead sandbox team but hey I ain't complaining second hard pick the Expendable anti-tank or the brand new quazar Cannon either or the eat got buffed not too long ago and can One-Shot Chargers in the head no problem as well as put good damage on bile Titans they're a oneandone option but they have a very short cooldown and are awesome but new kid on the Block the quazar cannon is giving eats a run for their money like you wouldn't believe all the same damage and reliability of the eat but with unlimited ammo all for the low low cost of needing to charge up your shot and a PO post shot cooldown the quazar cannon has even more applications in bot missions but we'll get to that later third hard pick the shield generator pack or the jetpack either or your a call I usually go for the jetpack on missions where I want to speedrun the objective or shut down a bunch of bug holes but if that's too much to manage or worry about it's Shield gen all the way the shield gen will give you extra protection on the back burner that you never need to manage or think about and even though it got nerfed not too long ago it remains a never bad option combined with the fact that Med and heavy armor got a bit of a buff in the patch you can be very tanky with the shield gen in the current meta the jetpack provides extra Mobility for either getting out of a tight situation or speedrunning missions by moving around the map quickly the jetpack requires a little bit more thought and planning than the shield gen but both are top shelf options fourth strategy on our stier terminate Loadout is a flex pick that can vary depending on the type of mission my candidates for the flex pick are orbital laser Eagle air strike Eagle 500 kg the grenade launcher and the exo suit if you can't make up your mind and want the safest option go orbital laser at Max difficulty making sure you aren't overwhelmed is your top priority and the laser is the immediate clear the battlefield option it goes longer and does more overall damage than the orbital rail but as we all know the downside is that you only get a Max of three of them per Mission as long as you use them only when you really need to though a god tier pick the eagle air strike is kind of a junior clear the battlefield option that you have to aim but has much more frequent uptime and hits respectably hard the Napal variant is now a really tempting option as the buff to fire damage can allow you to plug breaches immediately with that quality lingering damage admittedly the 500 kg bomb is my least favorite option for the flex pick because it can potentially be inconsistent and Miss but it does get honorable mention for being able to immediately take down bile Titans if you are accurate to be completely honest I would rather go with the laser but you do you the grenade launcher remains a great option if everybody on the team is already rocking options to handle big armored enemies and you want something to quickly shut down a bug nest if you're in the mood to just speedrun objectives and or Nest locations the grenade launcher and Jetpack combo is Godly the exo suit Mech is actually fire on those really tiny map eradicate missions where all you got to do is kill a ton of bugs or evacuate civilians the machine gun on the mech allows you to carve through waves of small bugs while the rocket cannon is excellent for punching holes in both Chargers and bile Titans the biggest downside is you only get 14 Rockets but I'll always consider bringing a suit to an eradicate bug mission in the current meta for armor it's going to depend on the type of mission but the safest all-around option is to go with medium armor with one of the following traits medkit democracy protects or extra padding medkit for the better healing and the ability to carry two extra stems which is great for long-term survivability democracy protects is a perk I continue to fate because of just how frequently you can cheat death by simply getting lucky and winning a 50% coin toss extra padding is kind of basic but makes your medium armor stronger which again reminder just got a buff and is even better now if you're rocking the jetpack and grenade launcher combo light armor is a good pairing provided it has the Scout trait to make you less detectable to nearby enemies which comes in extremely handy straight up avoid or outrun bugs grenade launch the holes closed and Jetpack out of Harm's Way if you get overwhelmed for your primary anti-bug weapon I recommend picking between the breaker the newly buffed breaker incendiary the Slugger or the submachine gun despite the Slugger getting sucker punched in the patch it does remain a viable anti-bug weapon it now has less damage and less stagger which will be immediately noticeable to those who ran the weapon a ton before the patch but it's still a good gun it just unfortunately doesn't perform as Godly as it did before the breaker incendiary is is absolutely worth a try right now and extremely fun at large mob crowd control the submachine gun I think is an option that a lot of people sleep on but I'd pair it together with a light armor grenade launcher and Jetpack build for speedrunning objectives be careful though the SMG is really fun and you may get addicted for your booster I think three options stand High Above the Rest and if your fire team has some combination of these three you'll be looking good Vitality enhancement stamina enhancement and Hell pod space optimization hell pod makes you fully stocked up on ammo nades and Stems when you come out of your pod and not running that booster is Criminal on Max difficulty missions Vitality makes you more resistant to injury which is self-explanatory and stamina enhancement gives you more overall stamina and lets you recover it faster which is excellent cuz on Hell dive difficulty I do more cardio than Zuckerberg at the beginning of Zombie Land you know what I mean for a fourth booster pick I'm actually a huge fan of muscle enhancement and wish more people ran it however I will admit that you don't always need it depending on the planet you're on or depending on the mission that you're running if you're on a tiny map or if you're not on a planet with a lot of difficult terrain I'm going to say you could put on localization confusion to potentially give yourself more Breathing Room moving on to automaton missions and like before my top three strategy picks are not only hard lines in the sand but they're actually identical to my bug build first up orbital rail Cannon strike for all the reasons mentioned on the bug build but now we're using it to shut down tank or turret cannons and hulks which are extremely frightening after that buff to fire damage short cool down unlimited usage and guaranteed lock on for a hit as with the bug Loadout orbital rail is literally never a bad pick second strategy the quazar cannon Expendable anti-tank or anti-material rifle dealer's choice but I lean really hard towards the quazar the Expendable anti-tank is still very fun but it is so hard to Simply ignore how much the quazar can do the new flying gunships are an absolute Menace and the quazar will be your best friend for helping you deal with them the quazar also helps deal with tanks structures and hulks hulks will usually get two shot but if you hit them right in their tiny little face it'll be a guaranteed one shot kill combined together with the stun grenade for an insanely free anti- Hulk combo stun the Hulk shoot him in the face done anti-at is already fun and good on bot missions and just got a 30% damage buff so hell to the yeah on that but I really do think that the quazar is the best all-around pick at the end of the day I really can't believe Arrowhead just gave us that Weapon It's really good third pick again either the shield generator pack or the jetpack I'm leaning Shield generator pack right here because automatons are brutal with their long range damage but again the jetpack can be very fun fourth strategy pick again is a flex depending on the mission and what the rest of your team is bringing to the party orbital laser Eagle air strike 380 mm or the em M or regular mortar Sentry orbital laser like before the safe never bad option that lets you clear the field for free if you're getting completely overwhelmed Eagle air strike is especially good for bot missions because they allow you to shut down fabricator buildings at range very accurately and they have a lot of uptime I feel like people are still sleeping on the buffed 380 mm which is very fun when chucked into a large automaton base clear out buildings and Bots then March in and mop up whatever's left the EMS or regular mortar Sentry is more of an option for eradicate missions they're not really as goated as they used to be on those missions but they still can put in a lot of work for armor again I'm a medium kind of guy which just got buffed hell yeah for automatons we're looking for the following three traits on medium armor engineering kit democracy protects or fortified engineering kit gives you the ability to carry two extra grenades and these stun grenades are incredibly effective on automatons hulks are walking nightmare fuel and I fear them way more than termined Chargers the stun grenade hit into quazar Cannon one shot true combo is Godly and Engineering kit armor lets you do that more democracy protects again can allow you to live through things you flat out should not and that alone makes it incredible fortified is solid for both the reduction to recoil and the extra resist to incoming explosive damage rocket Devastator automatons are the bane of my life and fortified armor is a good pick to make dealing with those jagoffs easier you can make a casee for light armor with the Scout trait but it's more risky with robots than it is with bugs because automatons have good ranged damage making you more likely to get carved up nine times out of 10 I'm going medium on bot missions for weapons take your pick between the following three the plaz 1 scorcher the newly buffed Dominator or the Slugger the plaz one is the golden standard for ripping up the automatons at Mid to long range and can deal with Striders in particular very easily the Dominator though is a great new option after the Patch and if you've ever been annoyed that the plaz one runs out of ammo kind of too quickly you need to give the Dominator a try remember that because it can handle medium armor you can shoot the legs off Striders if they're bothering you too much again the Slugger did get nerfed but it remains a viable option in bot missions for its good range and hard punching power telling you though got to try out the Dominator if you haven't used it yet for grenades I want to make a special call out here for the G23 stun as mentioned earlier you can use them to onew punch a Hulk in one shot together with the quazar cannon and if you're thinking well if I have a stun grenade I won't be able to blow up the fabricator buildings the quazar can actually do that just accurately shoot the vent on top of the building and boom building go bye-bye the quazar is honestly so good I wouldn't be shocked if it eventually got nerfed for boosters same as before Vitality stamina and Hell pod space optimization are the golden tricorn of success for a flex pick I'm still really big on muscle enhancement there's nothing more annoying than getting slowed down by terrain while trying to run away and live and there you go my best loadouts after the patch for both enemy factions in the game if we get a new enemy type in the future or another major patch or whatever I'll make an updated video but y'all should be good to go with the options mentioned here just remember at the end of the day a lot of stuff will work so don't be that guy who demands their teammates run the meta subscribe to my channel and turn on notifications when we get the newest war bond I'll try to cover that as soon as I can thank you thank you very much for watching [Music] peace
