hello and welcome to my channel chromos here today I am bringing you the skull Knight a thematic build inspired in one of the characters of the Berserk anime series skull Knight is a mysterious character that uses a sword and a shield to engage enemies since he is an undead we will focus on adding extra necrotic damage to our attacks he will have an undead servant very late in the build too the build will be however very straightforward we're going to be a full Warlock that is right 12 levels in warlock since we are lacking medium armor and shield proficiency we are going to spend the feat to get access to these two we're going to have very powerful spell casting as early as level four or five having two highlevel spell slots that will recharge on a short rest powerful eldrich blasts and strong melee since we are a fiend warlock defeating an enemy will grant us temporary hit points and this passive will be augmented to the maximum since it will scale from warlock levels also we will have access to a number of spells that are usually not available to warlocks these are burning hands scorching Ray and even Fireballs feel free to subscribe if you haven't already and without delay let's begin so of course we will start as a warlock and we will get access to eldrich blast and blade wart right off the bat since our subass will be the fiend we will get access to dark one's blessing granting us temporary hit points equal to our warlock level plus our Charisma modifier at this moment a plus three as for our attributes we are going to focus on Constitution and Charisma and we're going to leave dexterity at 15 since at character level four when we get access to medium armor this Feit will grant us a plus one to dexterity as well which helps with initiative in this case mostly at character level two we will get access to two eldrid invocations first we get get another level one spell hellish rebuke hex or burning hands are just fantastic as for eldrich invocations we will choose agonizing blast to add our Charisma modifier to the damage of our eldrich blast and fiendish vigor so we can start each combat with seven temporary hit points at level three we will get Missy step for Mobility mostly and our packed boom will be packed off the blade so we can bind our Weapon by doing this we will use our Charisma modifier for attack rolls and damage instead of strength or dexterity at level four we get yet another spell we will go for mirror image for defense and also keep in mind that each time we level up we can replace a spell from a previous level to one of the new ones finally we get to choose our first Feit that will be moderately armored this will round up our dexterity and give us access to medium armor and shields at character level five since we are packed off the blade we will get the second attack with our bound weapon we can also get to choose a powerful spell Fireball it is absolutely fantastic and for the eldrich invocation devil site it is just great since it would allow you to see in darkness magical or not and since we are taking hunger of hater this will give us an advantage on the next level we get dark one's own luck adding a 1D 10 to a skill check of your choice and we also get to access another level three spell in this case we will go for counter spell as it is always a very solid choice on the next level up we get access to level four spells and my choice here will be fire Shield since we will be a frontliner and be M most of the time we also get to replace a spell we're going to take out mirror image and add blight since it's thematic with our build finally for this levels eldrich invocation we are going to go with book of ancient Secrets just to have a little bit more of spellcasting but any other choice is totally fine at level eight we will get our second fit that would be ability Improvement Charisma we also get access to another level four spell and we will choose wall of fire at level 9 we get some real juice here flame strike and cone of cold as well very very strong evocation spells and we also get to choose another eldrich invocation you can go for a summon if you wish to play that style myself I decided to get the enhanced leap but any other choice is totally fine too at level 10 we get fiendish resilience this will allow us to choose an element once per short rest and will and we will be resistant to it for the other level five spell we will go with cone of cold at level 11 we will get a single level six spell that we can cast once per long rest without spending a spell slot so you can go for Circle of Death or create Undead both will fit our build for the regular spell choice we will go for hold monster however at this point our Spellbook is pretty much complete last and most powerful level of of this build we get to choose life drinker so this will add our Charisma modifier to our melee attack damage further boosting our necrotic damage and to close the build the last Feit will go to Ability Improvement Carisma as it is tradition I show you which items I have equipped for the combat showcase as you can see nothing really crazy because I just want to show how the build works and the skills you don't really need any specific item to make this work and it should be pretty solid early mid and late game so what is so special about this build you're pretty much a full warlock you don't multiclass into anything and you have very powerful defensive and offensive spells here as you can see I start with armor of agathis so this will give me a 25 temporary hit points to start the combat with besides that we have excellent melee you can see how I totally destroyed the magician by just regular attacks the only downside versus a mage or a sorcerer is that we only will be able to cast couple of spells per combat if we choose to start with armor of agathis however we are good you can just blast people with level six spells which have the most power in all the game and then you just swap to melee you have great defenses and you will get temporary hit points by Downing enemies in this combat showcase I managed to pull the whole crew slowly slowly little by little so it's a little bit long combat but I think it was pleasant to play so hope you like it and let me know in the comments what are your thoughts s imper imper imp everything [Music] thank you very much for watching and see you in the next video adios
