RTS Tactical Ceramic Plate Test

alright guys while I'm down here to range today hiding behind the barrier to kind of shield you guys from the winds so forgive the wind noise in this video but I wanted to get it out and I want to talk about this plate this is actually a level 4 ceramic plate from RTS tactical that they sent over to the channel for us to try out I pulled this from my plate carrier that I did a review on probably a few months back where RTS tactical actually offers a very nice plate carrier with a cumberbund and two level four ceramic plates with my coupon code and now add that and they'll in the description below as well as all the information to find this for two hundred and fifty dollars with my codes so generally on sale for three hundred dollars then fifty off of my code so for two hundred fifty dollars for two really nice curved level for ceramic plates in a very nice plate carrier this is a steal of a deal on ceramic body armor and I want to test it out today and shoot it with some common rifle rounds like the two two three five five six seven six two by 39 and 308 and this plate should stop all of them and that's what we're here to test today so let's just shoot this thing see how it performs and then again we'll talk a little bit about that deal after this is all said and done first up to 325 yards so you can see where it hits you can see some shards of ceramic here and a slight little dent in the back but nothing went through now the two two three and five five six are really fast rounds that can easily defeat body armor at 25 yards but this ceramic plate stopped it no problem let's try 7 62 by 39 next up 76 2 by 39 out of this 8k so it actually hit right here below the plates and then caught it on the bounce up and kind of pulled the Kevlar but it literally missed the plate and just capture the back so I'm gonna press that down and we will shoot it a little bit higher on the plate but that was not a fair hit it actually skipped underneath the plates and then caught the back we're gonna try again alright guys so almost worst-case scenario right beside it and it stopped it no problem whatsoever you can see the bottom is bulged out from where we make before but where the rounds hits right here nothing came through and it stopped us so that's really impressive to hit side-by-side and it stopped it now for the 308 now for the 7.62 by 51 NATO out of this AR 10 all right here's the hit guys same general vicinity but it stopped it there is definitely a big bulge but it is successfully stopped 2 2 3 5 5 6 7 62 by 39 and 308 all in the same relative spots and that's the criticism of ceramic that if you hit it in the same spot multiple times it will degrade but it looks like you can easily take 3 shots with these rounds right within about 3 or 4 inches of each other and be ok alright guys a few more rounds of 2 to 3 and that'll be probably it for today let's see how many this plate can actually stop alright let's go check all right we definitely have one hit here maybe two a hit here a hit here and I can't tell if that fourth hit was either here or here but let's flip it around and nothing went through so it knocks some of the small rubber off the back but you can see the Kevlar is intact and nothing has made it from this plate very impressive alright guys so in summary this plate took a beating especially in the center and it kept on ticking no issues whatsoever so I can confidently an overwhelmingly recommend this setup especially at the $250 price with my code and the really nice plate carrier that comes with it when you think about it a lot of people spend $250 per plate on level for ceramic plates and this stuff is about I don't even know I mean it'd be 125 per plate and then you're getting a free really nice plate carrier one of the nicest I've seen I mean this thing is a deal and you can see nothing is made it through again this is where we nicked it at the bottom and you can see nothing made it through here the spa liner is just cracking off so this is an incredibly insane plate at a really good price and again how had all that information in the description below and a huge shout out the RTS tactical for letting us destroy one thanks for watching have a good one
