Ranking All 5 Star Skill Animations

it's show time [Applause] to those of you who wanted to see more tier lists along the lines of the burst animation tearless i did don't worry i got you covered those lists will also be linked below if you have not seen them yet however unlike the burst ones i will be putting the traveler on the five-star one this time the reason the traveler was not on the five-star burst animation tier list because they don't have special cutscenes and while i excluded barbara from that list that is because i forgot she had one and i will also be including both aether and lumeen but i promise you it's not going to change anything so if you have not seen the burst ones yet you can go check those ones out i'm sure you'll find some reason to get offended just like all the ning wong people which despite being canadian i'm still not sorry about it's my opinion and i can hate it for whatever reason i want [Music] albedos is a pretty good example to start off with because of a major difference between the bursts and the skills is a lot of the skills have a lot of different parts to it there's a lot of infusions there's a lot of ones with multiple effects and albedos is one of them you got like the startup you got the elevator you got the actual isotoma hitting the enemies that being said i am not a massive fan of anything albedo really has going on my favorite of which being the actual skill effect hitting the enemies i don't really care about the structure i don't really care about it coming up into the air i don't care about it spawning it's all pretty average to me and for that i'm going to land him in like a c [Music] a lois just doesn't impress me in any way like i don't really care for the minds they don't really do anything special when they explode the effects when she first throws the canister to anything special she is the first easy f2 for me [Music] i don't really have much to say about the animal traveler skill i think it's okay i'm only judging the held version because it's just the strictly cooler version i think it's pretty average for both me and aether i'm going to give them both a c some nice spinning wind effects but that's all it's got [Music] ioka skill is the first one that gets the benefit greatly for me being able to slow it down and speed it up and all that crap in premiere being able to see it swirl out from beneath her in slo-mo really saved it from being lower and i'm going to give it at least a b let me just say this about child he is going to be in the s tier and there are going to be other people in the s here with him but they do not belong with him he is far above everybody else but what do i like specifically about child well everything i love the water effects i love the daggers i love this the riptide effects when you hit a bunch of enemies at once it's all just beautiful and it it hits every aspect of what i like about animation but yeah he'll be an s but in reality he's like sss the luke totally would have been just an f if not for his third swing where i'm going to give him some very major doing a sick flip through the air points or like a roll like a roll flip kind of thing not a good machine i feel safe in guessing that a lot of people probably think the electro traveler skill is the coolest of all the traveler skills but i disagree i actually like the animal one more because i like the wind effects so for this i'm going to put it in like deep here [Music] despite being very similar in overall animation to her burst euless skill lacks one crucial thing that makes me love the burst so much and that's the amazing camera work of the burst cinematic so without that her held skill is just a big ice slash with nothing really extra going on for that i i put her down indeed [Music] i was 100 prepared to give gonyu a straight up f rating but i'm gonna give her points for her really really amazing looking startup the after image when she first puts the cryoflower down is really nice looking it's very clean but the actual flower afterwards that's that's the part i don't really care for i think we'll put her in like a i'd say like b but i feel like that's being a little bit generous but that's what i'm putting [Music] look unless it is a meteor crashing into the earth from the sky i don't care about some rocks you already know this with ning wong geo traveler is no different both of them get an f boot out skill has so much going on you got the start up when you activate you got the special charge attack which is what we're going to see most of the time you got the blood blossom that it actually applies to enemies you got the normal attack change which changes it even puts a little like cracked ground effect when you do her big slam on the overhead strike and you got butterflies flying over places it suits her so well and for that i'm giving it an easy s [Music] oh it's my boyushi look at him look he's so cute this is look at his little dance is it vibing man how can you not love ushi easy easy ass just for being a boss and no i'm not bi whoa whoa what's that oh my oh my god it's a little dancing ushi thing that's asking you to subscribe and like the video you should do that [Music] jean is basically just like the five star version of the animo traveler i feel the exact same way about both of them for the exact same reason they're they don't get enough because i really enjoy the pretty swirling wind effects they have so she can join the animal traveler in c i hate to put jeans so low on these lists but i'm being honest about how i feel about these animations like it doesn't matter that jane is pretty close to my heart because she was my very first five star you know the animations are they're not my cup of tea some people might like the simplicity of jeans animations and just like simple elegant effects but me i'm like a moth i like flashy pretty lights and immediately to show exactly what i mean we have kazuha he has very similar wind effects to other animal characters but everything he has is amazing looking i love the color variation i love the maple leaves because i am canadian despite the particles being enough alone for me to rate him highly he also has some very satisfying very stylish animations as he's doing this all gaza also gets to hang out in the end here no kaching now while there is nothing that outright amazes me about this like the infusion is just it adds some purple effects to her swings and as much as i love the color purple that's not enough to sway me heavily the skill effects are cool i obviously like the tap version more than the charge attack version but what i really like about it is how cool it looks that you're teleporting all over the place and for that alone i'm putting her in beat here [Music] for as much as i like explosions and uh just cli in general the jeffy dumpty's cute enough and the explosions are simple nothing massive or really particularly flashy when the mines explode they're cool i you know she's like above average so she can go and be now since i am a sucker for water effects i was going my initial plan was to put kokomi's skill in s but when i looked at other skills that i put in s i couldn't justify it no matter how much i like the colors or the jellyfish or just the water effects in general i felt like it just cheapened the others being there so i'm going to put her down into a which is still pretty high moda's skill if not for the startup and the ending would be an easy f but i forgot how good the held startup looks because i always use the tap version so i never see the held one i don't really want to do the whole jump back because it takes a little bit of extra time and as far as the explosion goes usually i don't notice it amongst a bunch of venti swirling and uh ganyu burst so yeah as far as comparing it to other skills go sh she's she's an easy yes like mona's chichi's persistent effect of the skill is pretty lame like that's easy f for me not that it looks bad it's just it's boring i i don't care for it but the startup is kind of cool i'm gonna give her at least a little bit of points for that and put her into d i feel pretty safe in saying that bryden is like the style queen of genji everything about all of her animations just looks so goddamn good like the startup skill effect is good enough but then the slash effects like the big purple slashes going across your screen they just they add so much another one or the s tier okay [Applause] [Music] this is a rare thing for me to say but i feel like they went just a little little bit overboard with the talismans on the held version like just there's like maybe a little bit less like 25 less talismans and i would have liked it a little bit more despite that it's still an a rank for me just like bordering out a vest here [Music] benti's held skill is practically a burst in terms of animation quality it looks amazing it's just a shame that the tap one is so much better to actually use for energy and stuff but that's not what this is about this is about animations and that that's an s here's where i imagine some people are going to get a little confused and that's because i'm going to rate xiao skill a little higher than people might expect me to and that is because one i really like the black and green colors i think they are very stylish too i am basically judging it as if you're using multiple at once because with its innate charges that's kind of how you use it for that i'm putting it in a tier yeah another one of the ones with a ton going on the dash is really cool looking with the fox tails that come out afterwards the actual totems themselves look really nice the lightning bolts they spawn down pretty good looking effects just everything about this really really nice looking skill it's not surprising given that they're really just amping things up as characters go on i could go on for more about why i like this but i knew going into this list it was it was an s like there's no disputing that damn ass is getting full i didn't see that coming i thought the skill terrors would be kind of boring with a bunch of fs and ds [Music] for the many reasons that i love yoymia skill animations are not one of those reasons and it's not because the skill animations are particularly bad they're actually pretty decent like they're above average but they're also nothing like amazing i'd put the skill in like b tier that being said the fireworks and stuff they really suit her like they're very fitting this pillar for all of its many many many memes and other things it provides it's it's not earning us any points neither is the held pulse quake whatever the hell you want to call it what does give jonly's skill a little bit of points is a shield itself i think it does look really nice around the character even if for many months it drove me nuts playing gonyu because it overlapped at the crosshair and drove me absolutely insane despite the annoyance i give it a c just an average you know nothing special about the shield nothing bad about it there we go another tearless down with that another way to possibly offend some people because is it a good tier list if you don't offend at least one group of people now that i look at this list when it's complete i really don't know who's going to get offended the most i mean chi chi mains are always a good bet any time you don't say anything just outrageously positive about chichi all five of them just get horrifically upset kidding of course there are way more than five as always i invite you to share your thoughts about this down in the comments how you would rank things differently this is a matter of taste and appearance after all and people's tastes very wildly some people like simplicity in their animations i for one like very flashy over-the-top animations basically the crazier the better within reason don't forget to like comment
