hello guys this is summit here once again from study hub welcome to another lesson in this lesson I'm gonna be simplifying reorder paragraphs for you I'm gonna be showing you a strategy now some of you have seen the video Fivefinger strategy now I'm gonna show you how shorten the strategy and I made it much better and I've reduced it to four points right so four crucial points that you need to understand or four crucial steps that you need to take in order to solve reorder paragraphs now reorder paragraph is a type of question which is difficult for a load of question for a lot of students if you have not subscribed that channel yet make sure you subscribe hit the bell icon so you can get notifications about about the new videos as well five subscribers every week will be selected out of which four subscribers will get free access to hundred dollars worth of practice material every week and one subscriber will get accessed free access to unlimited mini training course for no charge it's worth about it's worth 690 a you day in Australia and you'll get it for free for no charge and I'll be advertising I'll be mentioning the names on the channel itself every week right make sure you subscribe so you don't miss out on any content now coming back to today's lesson so I'm gonna talk about four steps that you can take now before I discuss these four steps you need to know certain basics right I believe you have seen the video which is five Findo strategy if you have not seen the Fivefinger strategy the link is in the description I recommend you to watch that particular video in detail first it will make more sense for you but I'm making this video more independent so even if you have not looked at that particular video you can still learn from it now reorder paragraphs are of different types there is there are three different types basically referral devices is the first one second is information provided and third is the combination of referral device plus information provide if you if you've joined any of our online course for those who have joined or for those who wish to join we discuss all these viewer paragraphs in the online course in detail but for now I'll be helping you with with some different devices questions so guys let's start with a bit of basic now basic is guys you need to know certain things number one is pronounce what is the pronoun pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun known for example he she it I we you they they're pronounced these are the words which are used instead of noun now pronounce can be of different types there are personal pronouns there are possessive pronouns there are demonstrative pronouns personal Brown I we you they he she it something that refers back to the name of a person place or thing but is a possessive pronoun it shows the position of an item for example if I have this remote whose remote is this well this is it's yours yours means it belongs to you it's mine means it belongs to me it is his it's hers this is called possessive pronoun then we have demonstrative pronoun that cheeky stood in sitting at the back is not studying right or playing when his mobile phone right these those that these are the nouns right and then we need to know where is a common noun where is proper noun common noun common names are common nouns now if you've seen the other video which I'm talking about Fivefinger strategy you must have learnt these things already but I'm still gonna revise it so guys common noun is equal to or means a common name common name means if I look at a keyboard now keyboard I have a keyboard in front of me the keyboard that is in front of you is a keyboard as well every keyboard in the word is a keyboard right so keyboard is a common name for the keyboard I can so for example now you are a student right for example some of you or at least most of you are students I can call everybody a student right all the students are student but then for example your name is Sam can I call you Sam yes but can I call someone else Sam no I can't because Sam is the proper name given to Sam for example Hospital hospital is a common name every hospital is hospital but if I say Monash Hospital well that is a proper noun because I can't call any other Hospital Monash hospital makes a bit of sense so you know what is common now you know what is proper noun and you also know where is pronoun is one more thing that I want you to know that is about articles of articles or specific or journal noun so if I say yesterday I went to a school a school can be any school but then if I say the school was the best school in the word the school now the school is specific I'm talking about a particular school right so Journal and specific right these are the three things that you need to know before we proceed so with these three things what can we learn you know why did we learn all these three things so I want you to understand these three tips number one pronounce should always be used after a noun right number two we use journal noun first means uh school first and then the school specific after journal right third one what's the third one a common noun refers to a proper noun for example yesterday I went to Melbourne the city was beautiful the city refers back to Melbourne right so that's what I want you to remember and then four steps four steps step number one first sentence is always a free-standing sentence that introduces the topic this particular step is going to help you find the first sentence of a paragraph so write down once again first sentence of a paragraph is always a free-standing sentence that introduces the topic now what is a free-standing sentence if I say he goes to that school every day now first of all it says he and we don't know who is he then then it says that school what is that school right that's called which school is it a free-standing sentence no it's dependent on a different sentence which is not mentioned yet right if I say they go to school every day well they go to school who is they right so that can be the first sentence but what if I say Sam's Sam attends the class every day Sam attends the class every day can this be the first sentence well answer is no why not because it says Sam attends the class the class which class we don't know the class is specific right and we don't know which class are they talking about so this be the first one no but what if I says sam attends the Pte class every day can this be the first sentence well the answer is no still no why not is the question why not' is the question well the reason it's not gonna be the first sentence is because we don't know who is Sam right Sam is not being introduced yet it says Sam goes to class but who is Sam we don't know right so but what if I say my best friend's name is Sam well that can be the first sentence because it is introducing someone right now I'm gonna explain this in more detail throughout the lesson but right down for now first sentence is always a free-standing sentence that introduces the topic that is the first step you gonna follow step number two last phrase of a sentence provides you a link to the next sentence for example if I say yesterday I went to school right the next sentence must be related to school the school is this or that right that's what I mean by this but I'm gonna explain this further throughout the lesson number three number three is eliminate one and compare us so when you're looking for the third sentence out of three eliminate the one that's definitely not the third one next one and then compare the rest right eliminate one and compare us I'll show you throughout the lesson how to use this step number four now I'm gonna talk about number four a little bit later right so first of all let's work with one two and three let's look at this particular passage our task first of all is to find the first sentence now let's read this it says to avoid this the qwe rty layout puts the key most likely to be hit in rapid succession succession on opposite ideal sites this made the keyboard slow the story goes but that was the idea like so simply it says to avoid this to avoid this to avoid what can this be the first sentence no it is not a free-standing sentence it has a pronoun in there and we don't know what is it referring to right second one a different layout which had been patented by Auguste Warrick in 1936 was shown to be much faster can with the first sentence well it doesn't look like one it says were shown to be much faster faster than what we don't know and it says different layout different to what we don't know so can this be the first sentence no it doesn't look like as if this is the first sentence number three the qwe rty design patented by Christopher Scholes in 1868 and soldier mentioned in 1873 M to solve the mechanical problem of early typewriters now can this be the first sentence well it doesn't have any referral device is it introducing anything the qwe RTI design aim to solve a mechanical problem of early typewriters yes it is introducing the qwe rty design which was patented by solski christopher shows aim to solve a mechanical problem of early typewriters so the qwe rty design off the typewriter aimed to solve the problem yes this could be the first one so it's introducing the design of a typewriter then it says so can this be the first one I'm gonna sigh maybe I'm gonna say maybe don't say yes say maybe cuz why do you say maybe there could be a better one after this it says yet the Doric layout has never been widely adopted even though with electric papyrus and then pcs the anti jamming rationale for qwl TV has been different for years well the Doric layout network layout whose Doric it says duh means something specific we don't know who is direct so far right - Eric so far so this can't be the first one when certainty of commissions of keys were stuck quickly the tie bars of true jump tempt when certain combination of keys were stuck quickly keys of what right keys of what stuck quickly we don't know typewriter a keyboard a piano with no idea the tie bar tie bars of what we don't know so can this be the first one No first one is number C the Creed of qwe rty design M to solve a mechanical problem of early typewriters right that's how we look for the sentence now how do I look for the second sentence in order for me to look for the second sentence and look at the last phrase where is the last phrase talking about lost friends talks about a mechanical problem but last first talks about a mechanical problem now next sentence must link to the mechanical problem it says to avoid this avoid this avoid what may be the mechanical problem the qwr - I put the keys most likely to be hit in recession okay can this be the second one maybe I'm gonna say maybe right because it says to avoid this avoid what avoid the mechanical problem maybe then it says a different layout which had been patented by a ghost work in 1901 to be much faster faster than what we don't know yet the direct layout has never been widely adopted that word layout whose Doric it's probably referring to August work which is not the second sentence yet when certain keys of combination certain combination of keys were stuck quickly the tie bars of the jamb drive bars of what tie bars off typewriter so is it talking about a mechanical problem yes it is now this one is explaining the problem and this one is avoiding the problem so we have to explain the problem and then avoid the problem right it says solve aim to solve a mechanical problem what is the problem the problem is when certain combination of keys were struck quickly the tie bars often jammed right now we're gonna be moving on to the third one so this is - how do I look for the third one well I try to link it with the last phrase plus I eliminate one and compare the rest so eliminate one yet the directly out now this one we can eliminate why are we eliminating eliminating this we cannot use third work without using August warrant so we're gonna be using August were introducing him first and then the direct layout the surname we're gonna be using after that right so we can't use this one this is our of the game when certain keys certain combination of keys were struck struck quickly the tie bars after jammed and then to avoid this to avoid what to avoid the jamming may be a different layout was much they're not talking much slow here so third one has to be a to avoid this to avoid the jamming the qwe our TV layout put the keys most likely to be hit in rapid succession on opposite sides this made the keyboard slow the story goes but that was the idea right so third one has to be this one so what is the last phrase saying now the story goes okay this made the keyboard slow the story goes but that was the idea right so they're now talking about making the keyboard slow the keyboard was made slow so next one could be much faster a different layout which had been patented by Auguste work in 1936 was shown to be much faster right and then the last one yet the direct layout has never been widely adopted even though they left retired apparatus and then B C and D German rationale for pure error qwe RTI has been defunct for years that has to be the fourth one makes a bit of sense sorry fifth one makes a bit of sense now let's look at the next one but before looking at the next one let's understand the last part last part means how do we look for the last sentence so let's look at the next part the fourth step the fourth step is don't conclude a sentence that says note the reason do not conclude a sentence that says not the reason so three things we're gonna be learning in this fourth part of in fourth step one do not conclude a paragraph that says note the reason right second one focus on referral devices focus on referral devices and then third point within the fourth sentence or fourth step is look for the concluding sentence look for the concluding sentence and we're gonna be using it in conjunction right let's look at the next one so it says so our first task is to find the first sentence it says it is mainly due to the quality of fabric which effectively resists saltwater direct sunshine and cold winds now it is mainly due to the quality of fabric what does mainly due to the quality of fabric we don't know can this be the first sentence no traditionally they are navy blue and they are basically square in shape well they are navy blue what is navy blue we don't know that fishermen knitted jerseys have always been recognizable in Britain by their color and shape can this be the first one maybe because it doesn't have any referral device it says by their color and shape but then it's referring back to knitted jerseys which is mentioned in the same same sentence can this be the first one maybe I'm gonna say maybe this continuing popularity cannot be put down to the fondness of tradition this company in popularity right we cannot use this as the first set is this popularity which operative these Navy jerseys right this these can this be the first one no these Navy jerseys are still a familiar sight on call on the on any query or harbor in the land can this be the first one no so the first one has to be this one right fishermen knitted jerseys have always been recognizable in Britain by their color and shape how do I look for the second one well to look for the second one I have to look at the last phrase their color and shape right color and shape so the next sentence must talk about color and shape it is mainly due to the quality of fabric you'll know that's not talked about color and shape traditional they are navy blue navy blue well there is the color and then they are basically they are square in shape there is the shape without a curve down horseshoe a slave so can this be the second one well I'm gonna say maybe right because I'm gonna check all of them this continuing propriety cannot be put down to the fullness of tradition can this but the next one doesn't look like these Navy jerseys well navies color as well but is it talk too much shape as well it's really familiar trap on Kawara but no it doesn't right no so second one has to be this one right now what am I gonna do is I'm gonna eliminate one and compare rust traditionally they are navy blue and they are basically square in shape without a curve curved armhole or insult sleeves so which one is death not the next one it is this continuing popularity cannot be put down to the fullness of tradition how they talk more any popularity here maybe will you basically know they are not talking about any popularity so I'm gonna eliminate this one and I'm gonna say this can't be the next one right so I'm left with two of them it is mainly due to the quality of fabric which effectively resists salt water is the color navy blue because of the quality of fabric doesn't make sense is the square shape because of the quality of fabric which of different reflects resists old water doesn't make sense these Navy jerseys so they are navy blue square in shape these Navy jerseys right so I've finished with one thing and then I start the next one right I'm still talking about color so these Navy jerseys are still a familiar sight on Quay or Harbor in the land is the third one now when I'm looking for the fourth one I either look for the wrapping up sentence or I'll link it with the last phrase basically I look for the wrapping up sentence and I look at referral devices so it says this continuing popularity are the talking of popularity in this particular sentence a familiar sight is that popularity well maybe right maybe this is mainly due to the quality of fabric material if a clear is so is they are still a familiar sight on harbor or land because of the quality of fabric well that's making sense as well alright so what's the next one how do I look at it let's assume this is the next one a it is mainly due to quality of fabric which effectively resists saltwater cracks and cold winds this containing purple tea popularity cannot be put down to the fullness of tradition well if I choose this as the last sentence it says can not be put down right it says can note right it says it's popular not because of the fullness of tradition can I finish my sentence here no because it says that's not the reason right so it says it's popular not because of the fullness of tradition well if it's not because of the fullness of tradition why is it popular why is it popular well we have to answer can this for the last one no it can't so still a familiar sight this continuing popularity has to be the neck so why so let's understand this guy's for example if I say the reason I'm taking this class is not because I I love talking to a computer while the actual reason is that I know some people need a lot of help and I need to make some perhaps video videos and I need to help them pass this very exam right so the reason some people cannot attend the classes not because they are too busy with their schedule can I finish here does it looks does it look like the concluding sentence no well the actual reason is right they live too far right the reason some people don't study home is not because they don't have time right or they're the reason some people don't study home is not because they don't have time right but because they don't know where to study from or they don't have proper resources and proper help right so no reason is not not the last one right I'll show you another example as well in a minute so this continuing popularity cannot be put down to the fullness of tradition well it is mainly due to the quality of fabric which effectively resists old water direct sunshine and cold winds right that's the last one let's look at another one but before looking at one more paragraph some students ask us about the online course that we have right there's online course how does it work what do you get in that particular online course because you're not only you not only get these lessons the way I'm teaching you right now you get live lessons with the teacher every week at least two to four times right at least two to four times and the students who cannot attend those particular lessons the lectures are replayed once again for those particular students if needed right not only that not only that you get a particular teacher allocated to you whom you can ask questions almost every day any time of the day and teacher is going to help you answer these questions you are given the question Bank there is a total of roughly 200 reorder paragraphs which are most of the time repeated right we practice on those particular questions and if there is any question you learn the strategies if there is any question students ask these questions to the teacher live face to face I mean via skype lessons where other lessons we use certain software's a number of softwares students and their feedback to the teacher means their work to the teacher and teacher gives the feedback within 24 hours and you get your work there is we track your progress how much are you improving how much are you learning we get we share the scores there is a particular whatsapp group where you share everything so as a part of the online group course guys you not only get these video lessons which are everything right as a set for reorder paragraph there is there's another lesson for information provided which is already in the online course right those questions are much more difficult than these ones right now you must be thinking can you start a paragraph with it well in real life no you can't but yes in some cases you can even start a paragraph with it under what circumstances well there is an information provided question that that's what we teach in our courses the high-level questions in our online course and we work on those exam repeated questions and a lot of them are repeated in the actual exam as well on which we practice to know more about these courses so you get these video lessons you get a particular teacher you get access to the teacher more teachers mobile number whatsapp number you get to the teachers you get access to a whatsapp group but you can ask all the questions and all the teachers all the resources are shared you get to get it access to a particular Facebook group where everything is shared you had access to exam mock tests practice tests plenty of them you get access to caution rank you get access to this is a wonderful team that helps you every week there is a lot that we doing this particular online course and if there is any online course student watching this video please come and guys share your experience with the students as well so students can know about the online course share your experience in that comment section maybe tell a little bit about it what we do is we're proud of what we do we're proud of it getting scores as well and guys for students who are in India Pakistan some of the developing countries we share we the same course for half the charge means the course is 690 doors you get it for 344 AUD which is equivalent to approximately 17,000 INR Indian rupees and the the excess is unlimited unlimited means you get 2 you'll get 2 we will help you until you get this go right to MOT no more below in the description of the video we have given some ways to contact us you can contact us now look at this particular question so first of all we look for the first was first one the fear of and I'm gonna go through this a little bit quicker right the fear of criticism from colleague friend and family is the main factor that obstructs a change in their employment situation whose employment situation we don't know right can this be the first one no however most of these workers would not consider career alternatives however not it's starting with however means but can this be the first one well doesn't look like that it seems that the lack of psychological reward is the reason for their dissatisfaction they are whose dissatisfaction we don't know despite the financial stability a high salary brings research has shown that the majority of top earners are not happy in their jobs can this be the first one well yes it's introducing an issue what is the issue majority of top earners are not happy in their jobs although they are financially stable right so can this be the first one I'm gonna say maybe in trustingly it is not the risk of decreased salary which perhaps this move right which move we don't know so the first one has to be this one now how do I look for the second one I look at the last last phrase majority of top earners are not happy majority of top earners are not happy majority of top earners are not happy right so which one is linking with not happy fear of criticism from clings changing their employment situation know most of these workers would not consider career that's not not happy although it's making sense it seems that lack of psychological reward is the reason for their dissatisfaction dissatisfied satisfied means no we can this be though next one maybe interesting let's not the risk of decreased salary which presence move no second one has to be this one this see it seems that the lack of psychological reward is a reason for their dissatisfaction now as now first one and the second one is going to be alright to find third one is the one that's always difficult so I eliminate one and compare rest right it says next one it is encrusting Li it is not the risk of decreased salary which prevents this move this move which move is there any move here dissatisfaction is known I move so can this fit the next one no I'm going to eliminate this and now I'm going to compare the rest that says the fear of criticism from colleagues friends and family is the main factor there obstructs a change in their employment situation can this be the first one next one well I don't know it says employment situation changing there obstructs a change in their employment situation now they're talking about changing employment not yet however most of these workers would not consider career alternatives maybe this one because it says when a person is dissatisfied this is gonna change his job but it says but however most of these workers would not consider career alternatives right even though they are dissatisfied they will not consider career alternatives right now the task is for the next one means fourth and fifth fourth and fifth is either ei or AE I'd like you to pause the video for a sec and try to find which one is the next one is that AE or ei now for those who have paused the video and try to find it for those who have chosen ei awesome for those who have chosen a E you've made a tiny mistake what's the mistake look at this sentence it says it is encrusting Li it is not the risk of decreased salary which France this move means risk of decreased salary is not the reason which prevents this move so not the reason cannot be the last sentence note the reason can not be the last sentence right so next one is this one most of these workers would not consider changing their jobs and encrusting Lee it is not the risk of decreased salary which prevents this move right it is not the risk of decreased salary which prevents this move it is actually the fear of criticism from colleagues friends and family that is the main factor that obstructs a change in their employment situation right there is the last one I hope it has helped so far in Melbourne we teach class take classes in Clayton Footscray and this Manya we have a centre in Hobart and then India India we've got a Centre in Fatima then we are planning to open more branches suggest us where should we open the next front in the comment section section as well we'll end with your email id we'll send you some free resources probably the repeated exam repeated full tests full a full exam I mean full test full reading writing tests will send it to you and the next video will talk about either some fill in the blanks will also talk about essa topics guys make sure you subscribe hit the bell icon as I said every week one subscriber will be getting access to a free course and four subscribers will be getting hundred rolls worth of free practice tests and question Bank I hope it has helped have a wonderful day thank you very much and good
