winston [Music] winston [Music] come back with that leg of lamb i love pizza everyone loves pizza there's no wonder there's over three billion pizzas made every year in the usa alone but i'm not talking about this pizza i'm talking about freshly made pizza from the pizza oven so where did pizza get its name from well that's easy from the leaning tower of pizza okay i'm teasing not really it's the leaning tower of pisa pizza got its name from the latin word pinza and pinza dates back to the bronze age and it really means a sort of flatbread and way way way back in the bronze age 600 bc they used to make it with water millet barley and oats and it was really dense heavy bread it's come a long way since then we can all agree that italy makes the best pizzas there are hundreds and maybe more different types of pizza everybody has their own favorite please don't tell me yours is ham and pineapple or i'm unfriending you on facebook that has to come like a close second behind tuner and banana or something like that the beauty of a fresh pizza is in the ingredients gorgeous samosano tomatoes just crushed and then lightly reduced to make a nice topping fresh mozzarella cheese and then picked freshly picked basil over the top i mean the margarita pizza is probably the most famous pizza in the world and it was created after queen margarita of italy they say it's the one that she chose as a favorite but if you think of it the colors the red the white the green it's the italian flag the other beauty of a freshly made pizza is how you cook it now we can't cook pizzas properly at home in the oven because the temperature only goes up to 500 degrees well we need to cook pizza at around 700 degrees we want a really nice crispy crust base on the outs on the bottom and on the outside nice and flaky and just absolutely gorgeous and you can't do that in the oven not even really on a pizza stone you need a pizza oven pizza ovens start around ten thousand dollars you know the the beautiful brick ones that you see in italy that you see at the pizzerias you go to and to have one of those you're gonna be eating a lot of pizzas i mean at least three times a day for 100 years or something right to make that worthwhile i was thrilled when this company sent me this pizza oven i said how much is it what's the retail on it and they said under three hundred dollars i thought okay send it to me let me test it this is the cube stove now my cue stove is looking a bit worn you can see that right it's tarnished here but then i'll let you into a secret i've had this for over a month and the company sent it to me and they wanted me to promote it straight away and i'd never do that i get sent so many products to test and try out and recommend but i would never ever ever recommend a product unless i really really loved it the amount of things that come into us that i just take a look at and say yeah it's junk but this i really really like because of the pricing and because of what it produces and its versatility as well it can take a pizza up to 700 degrees and that's what we need to make it absolutely gorgeous but it's so simple and basic that you can take it camping with you out to the woods anywhere uh you could even have it in the apartment on the balcony if you want to i know you're not supposed to but you know pop it out there light up a pizza sit by the fire after and i'll tell you more about that in a minute we have to start by lighting some fire lighters and we drop them into the fire chamber it comes in two parts this is the actual oven part and then here this is the actual firebox so we'll start off with a fire lighter now this actually runs on pellets you know like some of those grills light a fire lighter and then drop it into the chamber then we've got some pellets that we just dropped into the chamber once the fire started burning like that then we can add more pellets we want about three cups in there in total and then we can put the little hole underneath over the top of the flame now the heat starts coming up under here smoke out through here see and then in here this is where we'll start warming that beautiful pizza stand while it's getting to temperature i'll make the pizza the pizza machine comes with a peel but for me it's too thick and too bulky and this one appeals to me more sorry that joe peel peel okay never mind it's best to start with your own fresh dough and my recipe i put in the description below i do mine on the bread machine you put all the ingredients into the bread machine and 55 minutes it's ready it's proven it's perfect look who's joined me when you're doing the pizza dough we don't want to roll it out we've got those little air bubbles in there which are going to make it nice and crispy crunchy so what we do is we first of all get a little flour on the peel and then just start opening up that dough a little bit the professionals will toss it up into the air like this there you go winston i've got a bed for you i'm going to sit you on this because i don't want you falling in the pool i don't even know if corgis can swim once you've got the right thickness and shape you can place it onto your peel [Music] he's just looking for attention then a little of our san mizano tomato sauce not too much it's not pasta some fresh mozzarella and some freshly picked basil [Music] that's basil to my friends across the pond [Music] and then into the oven it's a freezing cold day here in texas today why are we doing this outside my temperature isn't reaching 700 the elements are all fighting against it but i've got over 600 that's still going to make a perfect crust so open the door and then slide this pizza in underneath the pizza oven is a little handle and as you turn that it turns the wheel and look [Music] as we turn away the pizza gets a gorgeous crust on there look at that oh it smells amazing [Music] and we're just turning away on that pizza stone [Music] it's almost ready the pizza's been in for about three minutes and we just keep giving it a turn but it's ready push the peel underneath and lift that out [Music] a little more fresh basil on the top for me and look at this pizza i honestly don't think you can get a better crust for your money than something like this look the crunch on the pizza let's cut into it look at the texture absolutely perfect all of those gorgeous air bubbles in there and look the base nice and crispy crunchy [Music] does he get better than that it's so hot that tomatoes is so hot i mean it's come out of a 600 plus degree oven but i've got to try it it's perfect nice and soft and tired and crispy crunchy look at that on the outside amazing the cube stove's ideal for taking camping once you've made pizza on it then you can lift the oven part off and you can make s'mores oh winston if you've enjoyed the video then hit the subscribe button leave a comment below tell me your favorite pizza please don't say ham and pineapple oh that's the worst follow me on instagram this week we're doing a giveaway of my new seasonings that have just come out see you again soon
