hey everyone welcome back to trend mix in today's video we'll be talking about some of the worst customers that Chumlee has ever had to deal with on the show Pawn Stars so stick around you won't want to miss this as always make sure to LIKE subscribe and comment down below to support the channel Pawn Stars is a show that takes you inside the colorful world of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop based in Las Vegas Nevada owned and run by Rick Harrison and two other generations of the Harrison family they show interactions with customers who bring a variety of artifacts to sell or pawn off everyone at this establishment is clearly a professional or else they would never be doing as good as they currently are while some incredible deals have been made on the show for some remarkable items the show has also had some people come in and try to scam the workers which I bet you can guess probably doesn't make them very happy even though most of the customers give the employees a good laugh or two besides the occasional heckles that can get pretty serious quickly some people that walk into the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop have made the employees like Chumlee very angry or even disappointed it is also very well known that he is the gesture of the pawn shop meaning he likes to joke around with some of its customers the unfortunate thing though is a lot of them just don't enjoy these jokes and come back with anger and hostility that's why in today's video we'll be taking a look at five of the worst customers that Chumlee has ever dealt with on the show Pawn Stars so without further ado let's jump right into it number one the PEZ dispenser community enthusiast when a man in a snazzy Fedora walked into the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop he sure did mean business what did he have to sell you're asking well I'll let you know it wasn't anything in terms of jewels or anything like that the man was actually coming in to pawn off his insane Pez collection these weren't just your average Pez dispensers though they were all extremely old in fact they were all specifically from the 1960s and the 1970s he had a crazy range of characters from Casper the Friendly Ghost and an original Mickey Mouse all the way to an original Batman and even a Tinker Bell Chumlee asked him if there was any candy inside clearly making a joke out of the situation because he just didn't understand why any of these would have a crazy value the man then explained that there is absolutely no candy inside but did a sure Chumlee that they were all still very valuable Chumlee then asked him what he was looking to get for his heads collection and he said around 2500 dollars and to this Chumlee looked at him in disbelief and offered him at most a grand the man got absolutely furious and stormed out of the store even going as far as say that it was an insult to the Pez community definitely not a great situation for Chumlee number two a man with signed Robert Parish shoes if there's one thing from this show to get straight it's that Chumlee definitely knows his kicks whenever someone comes in with a rare pair of shoes they always have Chumlee there as he is definitely the shoe expert among the rest of the workers when a man walked in with the worn pair of signed Robert Parish shoes from 1987 he knew he had something cool on his hands they had a couple of jokes back and forth but it wasn't until Chumlee asked him how much he was looking to get for them that the awkwardness began when the man told him that he was looking to get $38,000 Chumlee was absolutely shocked and told him that there was no way that they were worth that much he had a friend from a sport shop down the street come and take a look at them he then explained that Parrish is known as one of the top 50 NBA players in the world but the shoes would probably only go for about $1,200 the man selling the shoes looked absolutely destroyed and couldn't believe that he valued these shoes at that Chumlee told him that they were way off with pricing and that he would max out at at least $800 for the shoes the man was very angry and told him that they would look much better on his trophy all definitely extremely awkward number three a woman with a 1958 peanuts comic book peanuts is a very popular comic franchise that debuted in the 1950s making original and even older versions of them very rare and usually quite valuable when a woman walked in with an original 1958 Snoopy comic book Chumlee started opening the book and reading some panels from it just for fun while he was doing this though the woman was looking at him very awkwardly and I honestly don't think that she enjoyed what was happening she told Chumlee that she was looking to get somewhere around $5,000 for it and he looked extremely shocked she explained that the value was so high because of the fact that it was so old and they even happened to have a hand-drawn picture of Lucy inside from Charles Schulz himself the creator of the book Chumlee made a joke that he could offer her $5.00 right now but indefinitely not anywhere near 5 grand and the woman definitely didn't like that setting the tension even higher for this interaction he ended up calling in the book expert of the show Rebecca to help him figure out how much this book was actually worth she explained that the overall appearance of the book itself was very nice as the owner definitely took good care of it but they needed to find out if the drawing inside the front cover was actually a real drawing from Schulz or not as most drawings like this tend to be fake she did determine that the drawing and the signature were both real but needed to figure out if the book was actually worth the $5,000 or not she ended up appraising the book for around $3,200 saying that it would actually be more expensive if the drawing on the inside cover was of Snoopy instead of Lucy there is a ton of back and forth arguing about how much the woman wanted for the book but she ultimately ended up pawning it to Chumlee for $1400 the woman was absolutely crushed and disappointed but was also glad to see the book was actually real number 4 flava flav and a bronze statue I don't think that I have ever seen a well-known celebrity come onto the show Pawn Stars so it was pretty cool when I found out that the one and only flava flav was on it when he came in with the giant bronze statue Chumlee knew exactly what it was it was an original football player statue that sat poolside at Simpsons home on Rockingham Avenue in Los Angeles flava explained that since the Simpsons home had been liquidated in 1999 he acquired this incredibly rare and one-of-a-kind statue he just unfortunately didn't have anywhere in his house to put it flava was excited to bring the statue into the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop because he loved the show and knew that it was the best place to get an offer as they don't like to screw over their customers and he can tell when Chumlee asked him how much he was looking to get for it though flava said at least a hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars Chumlee was extremely shocked at the starting value and immediately said that the most he might be able to do is around 75,000 to eighty-five thousand dollars for it depending on overall what his boss actually allowed flava flav though was not too happy about this offer unfortunately and gave Chum a very hard time ultimately they came to a mutual agreement that this item would actually do better and an auction than a pawn shop because if he could get even a couple of OJ Simpson fans bidding for it it could easily hit a hundred and twenty five thousand dollars if not pass it he ended up leaving with the statue and no deal from Chumlee number five a man with a mission and a rare Colt Dragoon revolver while the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop does happen to see a lot of guns in their shop they had never seen one like this before when a man walked in with the rare Colt Dragoon revolver Chumlee and Corey knew that they had something pretty cool on their hands Corey was explaining some of the history to the man selling it saying that this is the last gun that actually made Colt a successful person he spent his lifetime making guns but no one liked them so this was his last chance to impress everyone and they ended up loving it there were about 18,000 of these specific guns made between 1848 in 1860 the man selling it even then went on to explain that he had a name inscription of someone very famous Corey knew that the gun alone was really something incredible but the inscription of JP Cole's added a whole new level of value to it the man was looking to sell his revolver for $13,000 clearly not knowing too much about how much guns are actually worth they ended up having to call in an expert to help them out the expert ended up coming in and examining the gun saying that he really loved what he saw and that it was definitely real as everything the seller was saying did check out this made everyone very happy but when he appraised the gun for only $8,500 it didn't make the customer very happy at all in fact he started to argue with the gun expert saying that he simply just doesn't agree with the value that he gave he kept saying that the price of the gun needed to be higher as he knows that an identified Dragoon gun is very rare item to have an extremely difficult thing to find after much back and forth arguing about the price point the seller wouldn't go less than twelve thousand four hundred dollars this didn't make Chumlee or Corey very happy and there was never a deal that was actually made the man seemed quite upset by the whole situation but at the end of the day it's the Harrisons pawnshop and they can buy or deny whatever they want to anyways those were 5 of the worst customers that Chumlee ever had to deal with on the show Pawn Stars if you went into the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop who would you want to be there I think I would want Chumlee to be there solely because of the jokes that he likes to make in order to keep the mood of any transaction light-hearted but I know that not everyone is like that so let us know
