Hardcore Pawn's Les Gold Encounters SHADY CUSTOMER!

anyone should know that no pawnshop will ever buy anything without making sure it's 100% genuine or authentic yet the customers at American Jewelry and Loan still attempt to scam the employees and shop owners in a regular basis and most of the time these situations and then a shouting match like when a woman came to the shop with a pair of earrings that she claimed her niece had bought for her at the shop since one of the diamonds was allegedly missing the woman wanted to get some cash there were a couple of problems with that however as Ashley pulling it out first of all the woman didn't have a receipt because as she explained the earrings had been a gift and they did not come with one I wanted to know can I get my money back keep the receipt no he gives come with a receipt know what this one did if she'd had a receipt however she would have found that they informed the customers that there are no cash refunds at American Jewelry and Loan the other much bigger problem was the theories were faked and as you probably know the Gold's obviously don't sell fake jewelry at their shop so the woman's nice regardless of whether she actually existed or not couldn't have bought the earrings at the shop and there was also no way that Ashley was going to take them now they're fake and we don't sell fake jewelry being caught in her lie and her little scam idea not working the woman decided to throw a fit angrily telling the other customers not to buy any children from the store kills me anybody buying imagery from here don't get no I'm out Jay from she then turned to waxey and started bailing at her asking for either her money or a different pair of earrings while Ashley's co-worker Bobby started getting pretty annoyed with the woman to repeatedly telling her that that wasn't going to happen and then getting so irritated that he asked her if she was angry because her coat was too tight because your coat so tight as per usual the whole scene eventually ended with the woman being escorted out of the shop by security we're used to customers yelling at the Gold's and hardcore pawn bug this guy was so upset about being told that his pawn had expired that he eventually said that he would kill them all after starting to shout at les in the pawn shop security stepped in and escorted him out of the store but the man was so upset that he kept yelling and cursing and eventually making the death threat since the security guards feared that the guy might have a gun or a different weapon stashed in his car they decided that it was best to intervene and restrain him as the golds and some other customers came out of the shop to watch the whole scene police was called and the angry customer was brought into les his office to wait for the arrival of the officers when they came both les and the man told their side of the story with the customer explaining that he had just been angry and wanted to vent before apologizing for the whole thing les ultimately decided not to press charges and forget the incident one of the fan favorites of the first five seasons of hardcore pawn' was manager rich Pyle who had started working at the store right out of high school and been with it for more than 20 years unfortunately he was fired from a minor slip-up in the season 5 finale when the shop owner les was in a particularly bad mood what a hell is he he's on the floor people are waiting to pay us for their merchandise he's not there we're losing money after his employees had made several small mistakes les announced that the next person to do something wrong would be let go and he didn't make an exception for his longtime manager but fired him in a typical melodramatic hardcore pawn' fashion when the show's fans were pretty upset about this things didn't turn out too bad for rich soon after he was fired National Geographic Channel cast a former pawn shop manager to star in their 2013 reality TV show melt out of the ice planet although this opportunity lasted only a year rich assist focused on his rock band called super last as well as the clothing line rpm gear that he and his partner Darren Hamilton and Detroit muscle owned things started off well when a woman walked up to wash them with a laptop she wanted to pawn in order to give her sister some money for her birthday but it quickly went downhill from there looking for one hundred and sixty-five dollars the woman was pretty upset when Ashley only wanted to give her 125 and even though she went up to 150 her customer wasn't happy about not being offered what she had asked for instead she started yelling at Ashley telling her that she had a bad attitude and should find a different job if she couldn't appreciate her customers at the pawn shop as the woman kept on ranting ashlee eventually decided she'd had enough close the laptop and wish the woman a nice day the woman kept insulting her as well as other customers while being escorted out of the store by security and eventually got into a fight with another woman which continued outside the store until the gold security guard ended it it's not unusual that a customer at American Jewelry and Loan is cursing and yelling in one of the employees are the pawnshop owners themselves only this man actually had a reason to be angry after he had been giving the wrong gaming system out of pawn he had received a loaner system until they found his and unfortunately the store still hadn't found it the customer was obvious and happy about that especially since he wasn't satisfied with the gaming system they had given him instead to calm him down less gave him two options he could either get the money back that he had to pay to redeem the item or he could wait a week to give the store more time to find his original system I can give you the money back that you paid to redeem it or you can just wait a week he's sending me home with nothing I'm sorry however the customer didn't want to hear any of less his offers angrily saying that he felt like they weren't even trying to find his item when les tell him to stop yelling at him the guy got even angrier [Music] he kept cursing at the pawn shop owner and when security came a little closer to the pair he just lost it and started kicking things it took two security guards to hold him down before he was handcuffed and led to less his office where he eventually calmed down and they resolved the issue after les offered him an additional $150 and the gaming system until the shop had found his the Gold's pawn shop has a pretty big parking lot yet once drug driver decided that it was okay for him to stop in the middle of the street blocking the whole lot to buy engagement rings for him and his fiance while he was browsing the items someone started honking outside and after a security guard Byron had checked what was going on and who was producing the annoying sounds he returned asking whose truck it was the customer immediately said it was his but refused to move it since he was in a hurry and just wanted to buy the Rings real quick however after being asked by Byron Ashley and les to move his truck and still refusing to do so less simply declined to make a deal with him and had Byron escort the guy out of the shop not moving the damn truck why are you so rude I'm not moving the damn truck Byron take over the guy cursed a lesson Byron while blaring the horn of his truck a few times and then finally driving off [Music] the Gold's are used to rude and obnoxious customers but the lady from the following clip topped many of them she had come to the shop to sell her watch in order to get money for shoe shopping as well as some extra cash to be able to go home as soon as he took a look at the watch Seth started wondering if it was even running since it didn't show the right time but the customer replied that it was working when she had left home and told him to simply turn it to the right time it's nowhere near 7 o'clock right now ok but didn't you just turn it to 7:00 o'clock however Seth then revealed that he was not even interested in buying the watch because it was faded in the back obviously not actually working and had a scratched crystal you see how it's faded in the back Jai was not working the front I see that I mean what's the real point so you saying you can do nothing with the watch unsurprisingly the woman was more than disappointed that he was unwilling to help her saying that he needed to do something after she had come all the way there she felt like he should at least give her gas because she didn't have the money to go back and forth she also said that unless he was going to leave his job now and take her home he had to give her money while Seth was obvious and willing to give her anything I don't have to get back and forth home so unless you're going to leave your job and take me home then you need to do something with it that's when the woman decided to start eating olives and spitting out the pits in the pawnshop I don't before eventually cursing and yelling at Seth and being escorted out by security all while screaming and cursing get
