1419 is where richard ramirez said that was his hotel room what made you do it were you depressed before yo whoa what's going on yeah so the sls is like the old 360 thing and it's pretty much just the just go to the elevators break into two wherever we go we go cecil hotel was built in 1924 and opened for business in 1927 spanning 19 floors with 600 rooms soon after the impact of the great depression rained upon the cecil the surrounding area it created what is now known as skid row as the infamy of the cecil grew the room prices declined leading it to become a frequent hideout for drug dealers bank robbers and other criminals hotel guests were often robbed attacked and even killed but the history of violent at the cecil does not end there richard ramirez otherwise known as a night stalker was a serial killer and satanist suspected of killing no less than 38 people but only convicted of 13 murders he stayed at the hotel for weeks at a time from 1984 to 1985 in a room that we will visit witnesses and hotel staff believe that richard ramirez would discard evidence and his blood covered clothing in the dumpsters of the hotel prior to heading up to his room to shower and go to sleep there's even a theory that ramirez had in fact killed a hotel guest in this room so many believe that the cecil hotel itself is haunted creating the near century worth grim acts while others believe the evil within the walls has grown as each guest leaves and that is what we're here to find out at the cecil hotel [Music] i feel like eight is the place to start i'll say that good number of you know like that prickly feeling yeah temperature that means temperature fluctuated but it's not showing fluctuation online staying at 61.8 but it's changing a bit on there yes oh look at that zero seven there's somebody in that closet right now look at that 0.7 temperatures staying steady which debunks the temperature then did you leave and come back if so can you please make this device go up is there a different room that we should go to the elevator is always going to 700 zone tony we don't even touch it half the time oh boy does this have something to do with the elevator please raise this up make it go hard seven why is the number seven coming up so often here that's very very interesting that we keep getting something with the sevens do you think someone just died i feel like someone's like oh yeah do you think someone committed suicide there's multiple suicides in in the hotel here this could very well have happened that someone committed suicide in this class did you take your own life in this room zero seven immediately oh one one point one you hit it someone committed suicide right here wow you hung yourself here in the closet um what made you do it were you depressed before it just went back up yeah did you suffer from depression here comes the scary question did this hotel make you take your offline going to one point one instantly immediately immediately confirmation confirmation there is something evil in this place that affects people were you young when you passed were you in your 20s are you sorry you took your own life no it's going was his hotel room where they believe he stayed during most of the murders that he committed he would commit his murder and he would come back ditches close go up to his room in this hotel here but i think before any of that i feel like maybe for our viewers like what is it that you you're looking for well kind of what we've been getting so far we've been going by basically what the obvious is saying then we brought this connect out the connect 360. and what's very interesting about this device is i'm sure you know this but this was actually a kids thing that they used to use for dance dance dance and bowling it was a game for the playstation and then they realized actually i'm sorry for the xbox they realized that kids were doing the bowling thing and all of a sudden there's something standing next to them or they were doing dance dance dance and here you have another image of something next to it kids were freaking out yeah so they discontinued these but they're fantastic that's why they discontinued them correct basically finding apparitions and parents were really getting angry about this because they're like my kid is freaking out they're like they're bowling and then they see something standing right next to them it's just it's a skeletal thing where it actually picks up it gets your skeleton yeah your frame wow so earlier when we were downstairs and there was something by the closet and it was very tall you're actually getting its whole image mapped yeah like it's taking up space so what would cause let's say that wasn't and an eight foot or nine foot right wasn't the number we were getting that was like a nine what would cause there to be a nine foot being right not necessarily that he was nine feet sometimes two this picks up not just the person but it also picks up energy above them yeah it's like you're uh like you have a field around you yeah so it's like they go higher and higher right so sometimes it's not necessarily their height but you can tell by looking at this right now you see how it's picking up changes in the atmosphere as well you can see the temperature changes you can see the difference in the coloring there the pink and the green yeah this tells you a lot of times if something's going to happen i find too is when you get a lot of energy going next thing you know you'll see something yeah typically when but the actual window opens okay so instead of trying to go through it just push the window open it'll lead you to a fire escape climb up the ladder and that's again on the roof i mean it seems easy enough right yeah yeah all right let's say you got it i don't remember i don't i j i truly don't remember which way it was i got very tempted yeah but one of those i tried to go through the bar and infamous spot where elisa lamb's body was found inside the water tank right back there this is so wild found dead inside a water tank on the roof of a downtown l.a hotel the mystery surrounding her death has only grown elisa lam a 21 year old canadian tourist was reported missing on january 26 and not found until february 19 when her body was discovered in the water tower of the cecil after 18 days of investigation her body was discovered due to the fact that hotel guests were complaining about the low water pressure with one patron saying that the water was coming out all right we might as well go all the way to the top if we're gonna do it okay holy that's a long way down all right we're on the very very top now oh my god this is so crazy this is getting real like the water tanks right
