Norton's Pastrami in Santa Barbara

elevate in Santa Barbara California smells very Long Island to make the pastrami joint basics baby what are you kidding me here this is pretty righteous serving up a twist on the traditional oh look you can't get it anywhere else alright brother want to make it we're making the PLT that's what I wanted my fridge look at that whoa whoa is that how much goes on one minimum of eight ounces as it's done by eyesight and then up to ten give a lot of me you're making a pastrami patty I am we're gonna crisp this up turn it into a crispy patty that simulates the texture of bacon there's nothing wrong with that put some sourdough down on the grill at this point is seasoning of the grill with the pound of bacon that happens every morning it happens every morning it's sometimes more than once we go through a lot of bacon as well as pastrami oh look at the consultation yep monster red grill real well so it can support the meat yeah if you don't have a nice crust on that'll work right through it this point we can take our bread up chipotle mayonnaise on the bread put a good amount on there tomato first stage the bread real fresh roma lettuce on top of that what everybody likes about a BLT but we crank it up a notch in flavors blow the regular BLT out of the water the anticipation is high anyway we're ready to do it put it right on top that's a ridiculous amount of cut in the vote [Music] with this monstrosity like what can you not love about this now I don't have that pastrami and bacon watching my petite interest figure now I get it all together and on the back put I get a little bit of after both my mayo do you have license on that killing it mom's BLT here you go the pastrami basically tastes like bacon Hunter you ever watch your old man dye his hair what's that like what do you got it like eight earrings on with that where what is this what happened to you I hear when you're really that great sandwiches here you know so what else I have a hot dog here once it off but even the hot dog takes you back to straw me draw me dog coming up it's a hot dog and pastrami to my favorite things together this is Norton's pastrami dog so dog down that's a quarter pound dog begin the press you'll have one press we have a few but they're resting right now they have the day off really kind of work them that hard and then pastrami lesser portion but you got the dog already what you do heat it up on the flattop again yes absolutely because people want that slight crisp little bit of texture to it exactly on it you get the bread just put it on the grill just to heat it up a little bit roll the roll over nice crowd on there like the crowd to be mixed in with the meat Swiss goes on top the dog goes in the bun the meats gonna go right on top Curtin's pastrami dog this is gonna be good it almost feels like sacrilege to eat this with the fork just pick it up look at this mmm how'd you meet on me Obama remover gone wrong another one wasn't uh-huh got it he speaks for strong your
