to our night of worship and ministry um we're live and so it's good to be with you tonight as we uh as we worship our god who is so worthy to be praised and we're gonna make up tonight for the many people who aren't worshiping god as he deserves to be worshipped as as his as is his due and um as we begin tonight i just want to share with you a sense i had in prayer it was just a few days ago and we were notified that things are now going to open up here in ontario so we can have full capacity at our churches we can get somewhat back to normal and i i i thought to myself i said oh good we can finally get to some some real kingdom building and i i kind of felt a a almost a reprimand from the lord and it's like the lord showed me how much grace was available when things were locked down and it's like it was this revelation it's like god was saying if you only knew how much i wanted to touch my people during this difficult time i was ready i was i was willing the spirit was overflowing and there was there was there was kind of a bit of a almost a sadness it's like we we did a lot here at saint mary's but there was just a sense oh you know there's there was so much grace and as i was kind of a little disappointed with myself i kind of felt the lord saying okay now this is a transition time we're opening up again we need to let the whole world know that jesus is alive that he has power for his children he wants to feed his children and give them grace and so brothers and sisters tonight there's grace available you know the lord jesus he says i will not turn away anyone who comes to me and you know we can come to the lord physically but never open our hearts and so tonight as we worship i just just encourage us all let's open our hearts wide open and let the lord touch us in his delicate way he knows exactly what we need some of us need a good shake up other of us need a little consoling some of us need just to rest in his arms but he has grace for us tonight okay scripture for you acts chapter two when the time for pentecost was fulfilled they were all in one place together and suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind and it filled the entire house in which they were then there appeared to them tongues as a fire which parted and came to rest on each one of them every one of them the holy spirit fell on each one of them every single one of them and they were all filled with the holy spirit and began to speak in different tongues as the spirit enabled them to proclaim and i want the viewers those of you who are watching online you know the lord jesus said the son of man came to seek and to save the lost the lord is going to find you tonight because he loves you and he wants you wherever you are in your room maybe you're alone maybe you're you're down you're struggling he wants you to to sing his praises stand up and worship lift your hands to him and worship the lord of power of love he's a mighty god amen tonight we're very blessed we have our wonderful worship team we have our wonderful leaders and we also have father rob arsenal a good friend of mine and also a good holy priest filled with the love of god so we're all excited to hear what the lord has to say through father rob tonight so why don't you just join me in prayer as we call on the holy spirit in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen heavenly father we love you heavenly father we come to you tonight thirsty we're thirsty for you almighty god father we ask you tonight to fill this place with your holy spirit fill every room with the holy spirit people who are watching online inundate your children with your power and your love lord we know that you are looking for open hearts and lord let our hearts be open tonight as we sing your praises as we delight in you as we fix our eyes on you and lord have mercy on your children have mercy on us tonight be good to your children tonight as we gather in your name and we make our prayer in the name of jesus the lord amen in the name of the father and of the son of the holy spirit amen thank you father mark well we're all revved up and ready to go great great to be here of course we've got more people here tonight than we've had in in recent gatherings for our nights of worship and ministry and so that's really wonderful to have you all here with us here and of course those of you who aren't with us online now we've got a history now of a few years of gathering in this way monthly to come into the presence of the lord and it's just a great opportunity an opportunity for us to encounter him encounter this living god and in so many different ways through the worship through the word we're going to hear through the the fellowship that we'll experience by being together and that's something that i encourage you to to have a sense for or a feel for as we kind of journey through our evening tonight is that we're not here alone you might be home alone but you're not alone we're a family we're the people of god and so we're here together to seek god to call on him to come and meet us and encounter us empower us strengthen us heal us renew us but also to restore and restore the world around us and so come together come with a sense of belonging you really belong here you belong because god has made you and he's called you into a wonderful family a family that loves you and desires for good things we desire good things for you wherever you are whatever your circumstances are tonight so come then with that sense of being together so we're going to enter into a time of worship and i just encourage you perhaps it's not something that you're used to but uh to just to be standing as we're worshiping and to be opening your hearts in a new way to god you can open your hands lift your hands you can be talking to god telling him that you love him all these things to worship him and praise him and so let's begin our evening then and worship coming before our wonderful god and exalting his name amen i tried so hard to see it took me so long to believe it you [Music] raise them to glory [Applause] [Music] every battle you powerful i've been in a boat underneath them and that's the power of the lord we're going to experience the power of the lord tonight he wants to be open to that power it's going to be the same power that that was experienced by the 200 soldiers that arrested jesus in the garden [Music] and jesus said i am he who are you looking for he said i'm he and 200 soldiers collapsed that's the power the lord wants to show us tonight so let's welcome that power let's be open to it let's be inspectant the lord wants to bless you tonight praise the [Music] praise your lord [Music] so [Music] so [Music] thank you lord it's a great gift a great gift to be able to come before our god and worship him and freedom liberty just even know the name of jesus what a great gift you've given us lord and so we have this opportunity now in the many ways that god desires to come to us he desires to come now in his word and we're got our speaker father rob arson always going to be sharing with us and speaking with us now father rob this is your second time i guess that you've been with the third time wow he's a popular guy he's a popular guy yeah great speaker so father rob i was ordained originally in the diocese of kingston but then went on to minister in the eastern the pacific in halifax area nova scotia area for many years and then in i guess in the early 2000s he began to hear about the companions of the cross and perhaps got a little curious and uh eventually kind of moved and became an associate and then eventually a full member in 2011 and has been ministering as a companion in various capacities in various places i know father rob's a sailor he knows his support from his starboard it's one of his great joys in life i believe i've heard him talk of it fondly and uh he's currently serving in uh capacity with the companions as the secretary general i believe so you still done that yeah no i'm a mom time to update his bio yeah anyways uh we're glad that he's here with us tonight to bring us we're kind of kind of contemplating this theme of joy tonight and so to we just welcome you forward father rob we're going to pray for you so we thank you lord for the gift of father rob and we just asked that you would bless and anoint him now just let your word rest with such fire within him that even as it goes forth it goes forth as fire to and kindle our hearts and renews and restore lies just ask you to bless him with your peace the peace of your presence now lord it's such a just you know just for there to be great joy upon you as well as you share for it's the joy of the gospel it is our strength it's the joy of the gospel it's our hope and our healing so bless you father rob now yeah i got dropped it check two there we go so actually just one little actually a little correction and it wasn't the leadership thing is is minor but where i first actually started getting involved with with saint mary's um was actually back in about 80 yeah 86 i think 87. there was another priest father jim mcgilvery some of you may remember and father jim was friends with father bob and i started coming up to the prayer meetings in there so i actually go back far enough those at st mary's might remember when the prayer group used to meet here in the sacristy i'll go back to you back that far so i've been around for quite a while took a while to sort that out when i can actually join that's another story i think we need that anymore good all right so anyway it's good to be with you it is a joy to be with you when i was thinking about this today actually i was finishing off my talk and i was thinking about a lead-in about a time when i experienced a joy or maybe when i needed to experience a different kind of joy one of the great tools in the spiritual life is to have a spiritual director so say the word spiritual director most of you understand what i'm talking about so it's often usually a wise person in your life often a priest not necessarily one but someone who can watch you and listen to you and help you to understand what god might be doing in your life it's really really important because whatever piety we have whatever kind of desire we might have whatever hope we might have it we still need help from other people it needs to be humility so i'm kind of doubly blessed not only do i have a spiritual director but i have one from madonna house now i'm assuming most of you know madonna house as i say i just thought of this this morning so i have my chance to ask my spiritual director before i use his name publicly so let's just so just just imagine older guy from a madonna house priest beard wise really smart gifted and patient and i went to see him it wasn't that long ago but it was certainly during the lockdown because i remember i was fit to be tied i was kind of in a bad place uh father mark kind of touched on a little bit like we're so close to being open again we're all so tired of this i know this has been hard for everybody but as a pastor you're kind of caught between regulations and people and expectations and i don't know exactly how yet but i know i'm wrong i just haven't quite figured out exactly how i'm wrong right it's just it's been a really tough couple of years and so i went up to madonna house and i went to see my director at least it was kind of a window when we could actually see each other a lot of times we just had to do phone calls and we would meet online but we were actually able to see each other and i sat down and i just kind of well i basically threw up on him i was just complaining and i was like there are two things that i was one of making absolutely clear first is i am the most suffering priest in the history of christendom now i was clear i mean the martyrs of old blush in my presence right they just it was it was pathetic but but you get into that headspace you know like poor me poor me poor me and partly because of what i do i do do a little bit of extra work on the executive council i'm also do some leadership with the diocese and i see things i wish i hadn't seen i know things i wish i didn't know i have to think about things that i'd rather not think about amen and so it it's frustrating it's not working it's falling apart like it gets so negative sometimes like the world should have stopped turning at least a year ago convinced most suffering priest you've ever met and the world should be over long ago did i mention he was a patient man he basically just absorbed all of that like i went on for a good five ten minutes and finally when i finished he just kind of looked at me kind of one eye and said well jesus christ rose from the dead we got that going for us don't ever try to mess with a madonna house priest you're going to lose right like but what it's going to draw me back to was the eternal truth like we talk about joy this is my topic tonight it's joy and and so easily we can write off joy something being pleasant something that i like something that i find edifying like florida is joyful it's nice but somehow i think what he was trying to get to and what i was missing was a little bit more to this than just what i enjoy or what i find edifying or pleasant and i sort of reminded you know that we're we're not just an extension of our environment we are not just in a victim of our circumstances and i do think of the great saints now so many of them did so much with so much less than what i have i'll be sleeping in a warm bed tonight i had plenty to eat today i drove here in my own car i'm doing just fine where am i going to find my joy it's not going to be in these things then it's going to have to be in something greater and something transcendent so that brought me to a whole new way of thinking and i was sort of reflecting again as i was putting together this talk i assume again most of you know bishop scott when he was doing formation at our farm he would love to do this with the seminarians you talk about this quote we we do it all the time in mass so you can finish it for me you're all catholic enough so holy holy holy lord god almighty great blessed is he you comes in the name you know isaiah okay and he's that's how we say it holy holy holy like we're not if you have a nice music ministry it's it's a little bit more you know embodied but but it often comes off as a little bit flat what he's quoting there is from the book of revelation you know whether the the angels have gathered around the throne of god if you do this properly a little warning here this gets a little intense but what's really going on there are the angels are watching the glory of god unfold from his throne a little word tonight just before we started about the throne of christ or the royalty of christ if you say it properly it looks a bit more like this holy holy like it's mind-blowing and these are angels with vast intellects and power well beyond our own and their minds are being shattered by the glory the wonder the creativity that is god that's joy that's not just florida okay that's not just a warm cup of coffee warm slippers and a pipe you know like like that is wonderful c.s lewis kind of amplifies that too whenever in his writing he refers to aslam in in sort of his home country really heaven and he's with christ figure in heaven he uses this funny expression and first it's a bit annoying until you get what he's saying further up further in any read louis have you ever noticed that he's always talking about heaven in terms of further up further in it's not stagnant it's always unfolding there's always more to it so the joy of the gospel the joy of the kingdom the joy that the father has in his his creation is ongoing it's not a static thing you don't sort of achieve a certain level so let's just oh this is good i'll okay i'll stay here there really is no staying here there's always more it's always more if you contrast that i was thinking again and reflecting a little bit about uh dante and in in his kind of epic poem of of of the rings of hell and what the opposite of that would be i'm not trying to start a new teaching here or conflict with the mystics and their experience of hell but the way his imagination he puts puts the devil in frozen in ice anybody ever seen those pictures it's an enormous beast and i'm frozen almost through his chest and he's just sort of hanging there he's not dead maybe the odd time he moves or he breathes slightly but there's like a static-ness a frozenness an emptiness a loneliness and it's the contrast that's the opposite extreme we want that joy that goes on forever that's what we're made for it's what we're created to experience there's more there's more and there's more well as i just presented that to you then it sounds kind of a bit of a contrast so our lives are challenging and difficult and they always will be but heaven's really a wonderful place and i guess we'll find out when we get there but when you speak like that i mean there's a certain truth in it but i think it misses sort of another point that we can still share in that glory even now maybe imperfectly maybe fleetingly but it is possible to do that remember we are created by god we have been redeemed in jesus christ and we are destined there is an imprint already in heaven waiting for us now we might not take that there is still that that risk yes but but it's there there was sufficient grace that all would be saved so that it's there how do we experience it now well i think again as baptized christians and catholics the eucharist our blessed mother you know is there are beautiful things in this world that reflect this and for this i you know i thought out to to shout out to bishop robert baron he was asked to to give a presentation to the bishops in the states and you know the new evangelization and how to kind of get it moving forward and he said you know the transcendentals the good the beautiful the true and the just that you can't really rely on on just the speaking from authority what the church says or the bible teaches it's not enough this generation doesn't doesn't respond well to that it's in an experience of transcendent goodness of beauty of joy of justice example again it's a it's an allegorical but there was a a documentary i was watching in in something called bridge ministry now often that's sort of a you know non-denominational or sort of a leadership thing the word bridging or gapping but this case it was quite literally a bridge it's an overpass in texas and there was a group of homeless people that that lived there a local evangelical church had sort of taken on this ministry and they showed up and they started like a portable soup kitchen and that was that was pretty good and then they kind of upped the game and they had like a portable wash machine they could actually do laundry they did basic healthcare you know they would give food to take home with people it was really quite an operation and you know hundreds of people would take advantage of this and the filmmaker did something kind of clever he did like a little exit poll so this guy's walking away and he's like you know i just talked to you for a minute and said yeah yeah sure how how how'd it go for you so it's a good day for me got a hot meal i got a haircut got my clothes cleaned taken home some food for tomorrow this this is pretty good my world this is a good day and the guy asked him said well did anybody preach to you no nobody gave you a bible track or anything he said no so why do you think these people do this well a christian i mean how else could they so the message was very clear but it didn't have to be overtly stated that's that transcendent goodness what's interesting as well is then he follows it up with an interview with one of the people who were doing the ministry she had an interesting take on it as well she was at first a bit reluctant she kind of gave some money for it but i thought that was a little too much for her but then eventually got drawn into it and it became the most kind of most important part of her week she loved it looked forward to it and she would do the the ministry mostly with feet they have a lot of problems with her feet so you'd have to bathe them and do some basic kind of health care and she said the greatest regret she has is that she has to wear gloves because of the sanitation because she really feels like she's washing the feet of christ and she really wishes she didn't have to do that that's powerful stuff that changes people's lives that kind of gets into you so my dear friends when we're talking about this kind of joy i think the transcendence so the the true the beautiful the good and the just you know any one of those could be a whole night for us but these are these are kind of the cracks that a little bit of the glory shines through now that's the good news then kind of the bad news and we always have to be kind of tempered here we can still kind of mess that up i think we are broken and we don't often get it right and i think i was just thinking to myself you know what what happens i think is what happened to me kind of in my direction if you sort of seal off the heavens and you stop looking up then we start looking for other people or other things to fill that spot as a faith healer and she said this great expression you get bent to the creature right you stop looking to god and we start looking to each other you're going to hear it in popular music you are my everything you are my all you're my my forever now try to make that into another person and when that fails as it's almost designed to do then we turn back into ourselves there's a kind of a line or an image that kind of just our generation we've just been so self-absorbed again self-help self-care these are legitimate things but it almost seems like this almost a type of narcissist i think i feel i want it's cold and it's lonely and now we're back to that guy frozen in the ground so the antidote to that and we go back to madonna house and a great way of saying this get the relationships right god's first other second myself third when we can do that properly again the sense of identity that we we are children of god part of his creation that we're here to serve other people and when we do that we can then receive what it is god wants to give to us i started thinking about that and then my associate pastor father john we were talking this morning during prayer time we kind of met up in the chapel and we have to have a little chat in the morning and he said yeah it reminded him of anachronism that he uses the actual the word joy jesus first other second you third see i think it gets itself out of ourselves that we don't know all that we need to know that there's still more that we can discover further up and further in so dear friends i don't know what all you're facing tonight i don't know what burdens you brought and we all have something but i do believe god is greater than all that and he wants his people to come alive i think my father mark's line at the very beginning when he was praying with us you know just that there are graces that abound there are goodness in this world get your eyes up see it don't be afraid of it see the others around you see the goodness in people it's there it's always been there and trust that there's more than enough for you god doesn't forget you can't out give god it's another expression i heard from years ago so the sweet lord would indeed send his grace upon you saints and angels were intercede for you our blessed mother would wrap you in the mantle of your peace may know the joy of the kingdom this day every day and for all eternity make all these prayers through christ our lord amen god bless you all thank you [Applause] thank you father rob [Music] thank you yeah that difficulty and especially you know in difficult times to get our eyes off of ourselves and on to the lord jesus and and to others and of course we're looking to a new season hopefully and hopefully you know a season where we're going to be engaged in the other and reaching out to one another getting to know one another again in a new way now as we're kind of journeying through our evening to together tonight we're going to be kind of entering at a time of of looking at some prophetic words part of our preparation for each evening is kind of asking people in our parish or in our circles to be praying and asking you know what's the lord saying what's the lord god for you and the lord loves to speak to us he's got an individual word for each one of us he's a great encourager he desires to establish us in our identity in him who we are before him i know there's been so many times in my life where a prophetic word's been spoken that's encouraged me and given me hope or give me direction and it can be in in simple or funny ways i know uh one time my mother was here visiting ottawa and uh my son and she were down at the at the rito center in the food court and we were having something to eat and it was uh some chinese food and so i was kind of finished my meal and there was a a fortune cookie on the corner of my plate but i'm a good christian and i don't seek knowledge in other places and my mother goes to me god can speak to you through that fortune cookie you know and i go oh yeah okay so i opened the fortune cookie and it said you are clear of mind devote in spirit and pure in heart i thought oh okay is that really what you think lord five months later i'm in orlando florida the next time that i have chinese food and i'm sitting with my father and my son and my young nephew and we're at a round table and we're finished the meal and my father reaches into the middle of the table and he grabs a fortune cookie and it throws it over to me on my side and i open the fortune cookie and it says you are clear of mind devoting spirit and pure of heart now i don't really think i'm very clear in mind or bureau of heart or devote in spirit but the lord desires to affirm our identities to give us a vision of who we could be in him and for him he continually as father rob described that that line of come up higher come up and enter into who you are and who he desires you to be and that's the prophetic that's the power of the prophetic that's the power of god's word as god speaks to us because when he speaks you know biblically we read that the word does not come forth come back to him void it goes forth with purpose and power to bring forth all that it is designed for so we're just going to spend some time then sharing a few of these prophetic words and we encourage you you know that if it's something that speaks to your heart guard that and if it's not something that's for you you can just let it go and so this first word is uh parishioner suzanne staples who shared that with this with us and so she received the word ephrathah and that's be opened so she sensed the lord saying my dear children i want to open doors to you. speak the word ephrathah to what needs to be opened and i will open it in your desert place don't focus on the dryness focus on the light in my light you have your answer i want to restore you in my light there is no darkness there is life growth direction love and support in desolation don't doubt my light when you are in pain and struggling i am still there taking care of you i can never forget you i can never forget you this is god's desire for you whatever your circumstances are whatever's going on god is for you this is another word from vivian gillis and vivian received the image of a world with little sparkles of light all over in it and the sparkles became brighter and brighter and covered the whole world in light and she sensed the lord saying i am the light of the world the light pierces the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it i want to spread my light throughout the whole world come to me the spirits excuse me the lyrics of the song christ is light in him there is no darkness come to him and he will give you life those were also something that she heard also a sense that the lord desires to heal depression and to deal with those who are have difficulty in guarding their tongues she was led to philippians 4 8 finally brothers whatever is true whatever is honorable whatever is just whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is gracious if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise think of these things so keeping our minds stayed on christ thinking of our minds stayed on those things that are holy and beautiful and true you know there are all kinds of distractions in our current season to be discouraged to be uh you know there's lots of so-called bad news out there or things that we don't understand and so to not spend our time on these things but to be contemplating those things that are beautiful good and true this is a word and this is part of what allows us to enter in and guard our joy guarding our joy is a is a it's kind of a daily work a daily work that we've got to continually be aware of guarding our minds and doing of what we're kind of i often say well how are you feeding yourself and so feed yourself on what's beautiful and true um this is from another parishioner france bear and she shares that she's had an image of a forest and then right beside inside the forest there was a beautiful meadow where the sun was shining brightly and and there were but there were people who were looking lost trying to find their way out of that forest and so even though this meadow was very close they couldn't seem to find their way to it and so she had this kind of interpretation or sense of then of that image that so sometimes you are running around lost and not knowing where to go and you can't seem to find your way your head is looking down you're feeling confused disoriented lost look up and you'll see light come to the light come to me says the lord that's where you will find the way come and sit with me abide in me and soak in my love and know that i am there with you always ready to show you the way and this is an associated verse from scripture it was john 8 12. i am the light of the world all those who follow me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life amen having the light of life someone just ask our others maybe chris you can come up and just read yours yeah so praying about a week for a week ago for uh this night of worship had an image of them of a beautiful bed it was very high quality it had a beautiful purple silk covering on it and you just know that you would have a perfect sleep in this bed so i split my bible to second kings chapter four this is a story of the prophet elijah and he used to travel a lot to give a word to the lord and he would stop by an older couple in shemen and they were fairly wealthy and they knew that there'd be certain graces if they would have the prophet staying with them so they they built a bedroom for elisha to stay overnight now as i said they were an older couple and the shemite woman had been barren and she shared that with elisha elisha prophesied over and said a year from now you'll have a son sure enough she has a son as the son gets older the the boy dies and they contact elijah and say come quickly and our son has died and he actually lays down on top of this boy on the bed and prays over and the son is revived so since the lord's saying here my children do not weep anymore i know your burdens do not let the devil rob you of joy allow me to restore you in the joy of your salvation as my prophet elijah did i will bring you abundant life thank you chris so this is another word then from parishioner linda schultz and linda was praying and just had this sense that the lord is saying put aside the things that divide you lay down your arguments let go of strife and dissension repent of anger my father's love is poured out over the whole world over all creation over every person let that love fill you reflect on the father's love for you and let it soften your heart yeah it's been a difficult season lots of arguing out there lots of opinions lots of conflict and so it's a it's a really opportune time to begin to you know reflect anew to let some of that go i know i want to win every argument i'm in and and i was visiting some friends i was actually visiting jeff and linda and we hadn't seen one another for a long time and were you know having forceful discussions and after i left i thought gosh i don't need to win every argument there wasn't even an argument but you know i'd be the brightest bulb in the the discussion or whatever um but just to be more gentle with one another in this season you know she's got a good word you got a good word linda that was my word as i left your home kind of just let our words let us seek reconciliation with one another in this season amen oh it's so high i receive an image of the heart of jesus beating and expanding reaching out to people until his heart and their hearts beat as one collectively the people's hearts formed what looked like a fireball and exploded like fireworks and the fireworks turned into fireflies flying together casting a synchronized glow lighting up in the darkness i sense the lord's yearning for a relentless personal relationship for each one of us to spend time with him to listen to him an encouragement from him for us to be open and united with him to submit to him by accepting his will because his plans are perfect complete and greatly exceed our own expectations i also feel that he is saying the earth is full of my steadfast love your fear does not stand any chance when you stand in my love i relieve your burdens let go i rescue you from your distress i fight your fight for you i subdue your enemies i am the lord your god do not doubt my miraculous provision keep your eyes on me trust in me i also think that the lord is encouraging us to be united in his love to serve us his light in the world speaking through our deeds and words the testimony of a follower of christ there is strength in collective light the righteous shine brightest when we shine together i was led to share psalm 63 verse 68 verse 3 let the righteous be joyful let them exalt before god let them be jubilant with joy father in heaven we are jubilant with joy for you are our faithful immovable refuge you bless us every single day with your steadfast love you turn around our ordeals and encourage us to rejoice we look at you as the source of all joy may the spirit of glory which is your spirit rest on us and may you shine through us as christians come together may we be united in revealing and illuminating the truth may the words from you take loot and bear fruit and if there's anything that is not of you be blown away by your holy spirit we pray in the name of jesus amen amen [Music] and so as you kind of hear those words if there are things there that are for you you know write them down or put you know as we say put them on the shelf if they're part of an ongoing theme of how the lord is speaking to you be looking for those repetitions as the lord continues to to work on a theme i know he's had a theme of peace you know ever since i started the new year was kind of just one word and people will just say you know what or you know i'll just see it in so many different places and you know just praying into that and so the lord has that for each of us and i've kind of just twigged or just kind of one thing i heard natalie talk about was provision and and supply and so maybe we could just there's something over that i think in this night that if you're in a place of perhaps needing work or if you're in a place of you know there's money difficulties whatever it may be uh just to pray and let's just pray together into that pray lord god you are a wonderful provider and for anyone anyone who's either listening online or anyone here who's needing provision who's needing to know that god is a wonderful provider lord we ask you to open the heavens to pour forth grace and supply for every need for the power of the name of your glorious son jesus amen amen bless you and so we encourage you you know as we're sharing things and talking about things uh if there's something specifically that that speaks to you let us know share in the chat if you're online or you know send the office an email or something but um part of honoring what god is doing is telling others giving testimony sharing the things that god is doing because a testimony is something that speaks to others and encourages others and of course really a testimony is just saying god's done it once he desires to do it again and again and again [Music] and so we're just going to enter into now a time of people have been praying for words of knowledge over what we think the lord would like to be healing tonight uh specific areas that he's trying to perhaps highlight and we're just going to pray into those and we encourage you to to be responding and even those here kind of i'm at times i'm going to ask you for a show of hands if there's if there's something that's spoken to you um so these are words from sister anna and uh anna chan and so the first thing she had in prayer was that there's a woman in her 40s suffering from long-term symptoms of covet so that's fatigue and heavy coughing she then also had an image of a male in his 70s and then this sense of that he's got pins and needles in his hands and his feet excuse me in both feet so that's probably nerves or something like that so suffering from nerve problems and he's in a lot of pain so if that's somebody you know or you please let us know [Music] and then somebody with shingles especially in the back and this is specifically for a male with dark hair and she had image even of a mustache and somebody in their 40s or 50s so terribly painful things so we're just gonna maybe cover those areas of anyone who's got any kind of neuropathy any kind of a lack of feeling in their feet or feeling in their hands tingling in their hands any kind of nerve damage lord jesus we just ask for your grace now upon these areas for feeling to come back to places where they've lost feeling in their feet and any kind of tingling or nerve damage in hands just that the lord would bring healing there so the next word of knowledge was from pauline la yata she was praying and she had something came to her over eyesight and then eyesight both physically and spiritually and so the lord desiring to bring a new depth of vision so healing for eyes in the physical but also in the spiritual and this was a word specifically for a woman who's been praying for an increase in spiritual insight so if that's you the lord desires to pour out the desires of your heart then she had an injury to left hand so somebody with injury to a left hand left hand and i also then had come to mind carpal tunnel anyone with carpal tunnel here anybody here have carpal tunnel nope nobody with carpal tunnel anybody online you can reply somebody with shoulder pain across the top of their shoulders shoulder pain across the top of your shoulders then somebody who's got digestive problems anybody who's got problems with digestion either acid reflux or any form of digestive problems got somebody there why don't you come up here we're going to pray for you chris you want to grab a microphone maybe you can just stand over here and you can kind of look out folks are going to want to see who you are so he's going to give you a microphone so who are you um my name's natalia natalia okay so what do you what you got problem with digestion yeah i do yeah okay so we're just gonna ask the lord now to bring you healing lord jesus we thank you for how your love for natalia and we just ask you to totally heal our problems with digestion any kind of upset stomach any kind of difficulty he's digesting just we command this to leave in the name of jesus amen bless you natalia thank you bless you so you let us know if you've got improvement okay great great thank you all right so the next one is in the area of cancer and this is breast cancer it's actually both breasts now your prayers have been heard and your tears collected as a fragrant offering to the lord so anyone who's suffering under the burden of cancer lord we just ask for your grace to be poured out now [Music] can bring great fear when we hear the word cancer it's it's like this big scary thing but to god nothing is impossible to god he is able and willing and desires to heal cancer so lord we just command cancer to go in the power of your name lord jesus amen the next area then would be stomach cancer somebody's suffering with stomach cancer lord we ask for your grace and your power the next thing is pain in the left hip the woman who's waiting on hip replacement surgery the lord would like to bring you relief so somebody who's actually even been diagnosed then and suggested that they have hip replacement surgery in the left side lord we ask for total restoration arthritis in the hip deterioration in the hip just full restoration in the name of jesus no more pain pain go in the power in the name of our lord jesus amen so have you had any responses chris anything there yet just we'll get your microphone yeah so a number of people responding to digestive problems shoulder yeah a lot of people on the digestive problem side no reported improvements yet but we're following up here okay so lots of those same areas well lord jesus we just ask for you to pour out your grace pour out your grace thanks chris so the next word of knowledge that uh pauline had was a man in a black leather jacket watching trying to decide does god really heal isn't it being healed now of severe back pain so just somebody and it can be maybe you're in that place too of going you know i'm not sure god can heal me i don't know and that place we've got wonderful examples of scripture of of jesus coming and and you know and he's just he delights in us coming there's no way no examples of anyone who's ever been turned away as they've come to jesus seeking healing and so if you need healing come come you don't have to have a ton of faith all you got to have is some faith lord help our unbelief just make that prayer lord help my unbelief help my unbelief lord and he's just so faithful and true he desires to heal us bring us healing thank you lord so the next word then is for back pain on the right side of the back beside the spinal column so if you got back pain anybody here with back pain specifically on the right side [Laughter] right here okay we'll come on up here and we're going to pray for you um come right up here what's your name marie grass what's your name maddie grass and you've got back pain yes okay well why don't you come chris and chris is just going to put his hand on your on the right hand side of your back and it goes down your okay well lord jesus we ask for your healing grace now just your healing grace now upon this back no more pain pain go in the name of jesus any any injury just ask for your grace lord healing grace were you injured yeah well lord jesus we just asked you to come now and we ask you to break off any of the shock from this injury just totally released how you feeling is there any change yeah yes so if you i was to ask you on a scale from one to ten how much it hurts how much does it hurt is it a five is it a six a seven word how much pain do you have it was how much it was eight it was an eight eight and now it's good you don't have to be nice to me you know like a two or three okay so let's just pray once more [Music] lord jesus we just ask that this thing would be totally gone totally gone by the power of your name totally gone by the power of your name gosh you're so wonderful jesus you are so wonderful jesus okay so move again how are we doing so there's still little there okay i will keep we'll try once more time lord jesus see even the lord tried a few times there was a man he was praying for his eyes and he said how you doing and he says well i see people but they look like trees so jesus prayed again he just prayed again just asking for the goodness of god to come just asking for the goodness of god to come thank you lord thank you lord i see you had pain in your leg maybe try raising your leg see if that's better it's not gone you say or it's do you still do all right oh lord jesus we thank you for your grace and total healing in the power of your name thank you lord bless you we'll ask you at the end of the night how you're doing okay thank you okay chris go ahead thank you so uh yvette's shoulder and hip pain went from an eight out of ten to a one eight out of ten to a one thank you thank you lord thank you lord a little bit better is great we desire total healing but a little bit better thank you lord and often we see incremental decrease and it's wonderful the lord's a great healer okay so i got to get to my next page here so this is someone with very swollen feet from arthritis so we've got multiples there's one man and four women with pain in their feet pain in their feet arthritis in their feet so lord we just ask for grace anybody who's got any kind of pain in their feet plantar fasciitis a pretty common thing anyone who's got pain from plantar fasciitis anyone who has pain in the morning just be gone in the name of jesus able to run the race just hear those words run the race thank you lord set them free people set them your people free from pain lord jesus this is someone with a right leg injury and it actually threatens their their career as a skater and has an image of someone in a short purple skirt so if you're a skater enjoy skating just a right leg injury the lord would like to heal [Music] now this is one a bit of a of a spiritual nature and maybe it's someone who's struggling with a critical spirit and that can be you know i know we can all struggle at times with the the things we say or how we're thinking about others and this is somebody maybe specifically who's been struggling with this and even she had this image of it being generational and that perhaps you you know you had parents or a mother or father who were critical and you've kind of inherited that or you see that in your own life well the lord would like to to set you free oh lord jesus set your children free from any bondage set them free from any stronghold and by the power of your wonderful name jesus said he came to set prisoners free to proclaim liberty to those who were held captive and so we just declare that power the power of his coming the power of the gospel to set you free [Music] um this next word is someone who's had uh expectations of others and those not being met false expectations of others friends or family and those then being kind of a source of anger or resentment in your life so just the lord desiring to set you free of false expectations to set your eyes upon jesus and be free from unrealistic expectations of others this next one then is someone struggling with a spirit of suicide somebody who's struggling with suicide and it's either than in their thoughts and actually this she even had something where someone's actually thinking of jumping into water and so anyone who's struggling in any way with depression or even of suicide itself lord we ask for your grace your grace don't let anyone feel like they're alone don't let anyone feel like they don't belong or that they're not worthy because you are worthy jesus has made you worthy thank you lord this is in a word where god would like to bring healing to families and where children are separated from parents um and that there are there are differences between them and just the lord saying that he'd like to you know bring counsel or bring other professional help or something that the lord somehow is going to miraculously bring uh you know where there's been separation that the lord's going to bring healing um and then another word of reconciliation between a father and a son father and a son so whether you're a son who's estranged from your father or whether you're a father who's who's got a broken relationship with your son or just in the name of jesus speak reconciliation you know that's one of the the great words of malachi the kind of the the last book before the new testament it talks about just that there would be a season of reconciliation of fathers and you know sons turning back to one another and just a time of reconciliation so we're in a season of reconciliation god is able if your heart is broken over broken relationships in your family between parents and and children the lord desires to bring healing and restoration um and then this is the final one on from her is that somebody who's got deep resentment towards uh an expose just uh to somebody who's been actually divorced and just a deep resentment just the lord desiring to to set you free to set you free and then these are a few words of knowledge from chris curry and so his first one is that someone has a wound from a kitchen knife so whether it's you've been preparing a meal or something and you've been hurt with a kitchen knife and the lord desiring to heal that and so you know i don't know if there's perhaps been other extensive damage damage to a tendon perhaps or something the lord desires to bring full freedom of movement from that injury then the next one is someone who's been injured in a ski accident the lord desires to to bring healing in that area if you've in any way been injured in a ski accident the next one then is a one-year-old child with health issues so this is a young child with health issues of course it's heartbreaking for any child to be ill and so let's just lift up any children who are ill in this time oh god how we love our children [Music] and how we desire your grace and your mercy to be upon them that you would protect and guard them and now specifically in any who are ill or any child who's been injured that you would bring your healing now lord and we speak long life and fruitfulness to every child who's struggling in this moment grace of god be upon your children let the little children come unto me says the lord let them come unto me yes lord yes lord bless your children and someone perhaps this is a word where someone's feeling like they're absolutely insignificant and even i think in that word that's you you actually are hearing those words you are insignificant and this is a lie this is a lie you are significant you do belong you do have a family you do have a father who loves you so we come against that in jesus name anyone who's hearing negative thoughts about their identity about who they are we come against that in the name of jesus this then is a young blonde woman our final one a young blonde woman who's heartbroken just that the lord desires to to minister to you to bring healing to you a restoration to that broken heart so anyone in this season then who's got a broken heart and needs restoration who needs to be able to trust again to love again we ask you lord for your grace the grace for forgiveness the grace for freedom and the power of your name amen amen so we're kind of beginning to wind down our evening and a few things that i'd like to share with you just that you know tonight uh it's been wonderful to have joan matthews being our music ministry but typically we usually have warren cher and unfortunately that warren's father's recently passed away and and so we'd just like to you know to say we're carrying that share family in our hearts you know we loved larry here at saint mary's is a great brother faithful brother servant of christ and so we're we're sad to see him go [Music] and ask for your blessing and grace upon the whole share family lord now we're going to be having our nights of worship and ministry next month what's the date i've got the date here somewhere i assume march 28th i didn't get you march 25th will be our next evening of of worship so we still have to confirm our speaker or unfortunately our speaker had to bow back out we're going to have but we're going to have a good word once again for you once again we're going to be gathering together and we're looking forward to of course being able to gather without any restrictions at all so it's going to be great opportunity certainly any of you who are in the city or the local area you're going to be welcome to to come and and worship with us as we we kind of come before the lord and glorify him so of course it's a lot of people who are here helping and behind the scenes we're grateful for each and every one of you i've got people who are responsible of course for our for the kind of the cameras and everything and then of course the team that helped to put together the night of worship and ministry itself and especially natalya does most of the the heavy lifting we're very grateful for all of your your efforts and your good work so i just remind you if you've received a healing tonight let somebody know tell a friend you know send an email to somebody just glorify the lord for every good thing that it does and as we contemplate and and delight in the good things that he does he pours out even more grace and blessing upon us so maybe i'm just going to call you forth father to give us a final blessing and then we'll have a last song together i'm just thinking too with march 25th is um the feast of the annunciation so that's why i know it because that's our parish we're gonna have a special mass that night as well so we'll all be joined in prayer with you it's also i didn't have a lord of the rings reference in my talk and i get one per contract so that's actually the day the ring's destroyed in lord of the rings just as a little side so the feast of the enunciation so there we're all feeling better about that all right so the lord be with you now many god bless you may the saints and angels indeed intercede for you may the joy of the lord take root in your heart you know every good thing that comes from him mother mary pray for us and bob intercede for us may god bless you and keep you every and all days of your life and then the father and the son and the holy spirit go in peace [Music] you are my joy you are my son you are the well the one i'm [Music]
