priest among us in the compass lacrosse so you will be uh you're in for a big treat and uh i really like the topic that uh is going to talk about uh celebrating hope and i think we need to hear about that especially right now okay so so welcome everybody so i'll just uh say a prayer blessing for all of you the name fathers and holy spirit father we praise you we bless you we thank you lord for bringing us all here right now lord lord we just ask lord you descend your holy spirit upon this place anoint anoint the the the preaching of father francis donnelly which is continued lord to to to almighty god bless all of you and son holy spirit amen okay god bless well thank you father ken uh my name is chris curry i'll be your mc tonight i'm i'm really pleased to have uh all those folks that are watching on youtube or facebook um it's kind of lonely here right now we're in the middle of uh i think it's a fifth wave of homocron and um so we're not allowed to have a lot of people here so you kind of feel lonely but we know where two or three gathered i am there that's what jesus promises right in the gospel of matthew so when the lord's here we know he's here in the tabernacle so tonight is going to be blessed i just want to say happy new year new year to those that watch night of worship on on youtube uh this is our sixth year and and one of the blessings of the pandemic is that we started up this youtube ministry so we can only get about 400 people here in the church of the best of times but we notice on some of these evenings we get over 4 000 hits on youtube so that's a blessing and we're really thankful for that so our aim of this evening and of this ministry is to minister you in the power of the holy spirit you'll see many of the gifts of first corinthians 12 in operation you'll see prophecy healing and some good teaching as well so you're wondering how we came up with a theme of celebrate in hope you say why are you celebrating in the middle of a fifth wave of this pandemic that doesn't make sense to us well we actually prayed about this three months ago so we didn't know we'd be in a fifth wave three months ago and this is the theme the lord gave us so so we can respond to omicron in two ways we can be a people of hope or we can be a people of despair we think the lord wants us to be a people of hope and wants us to celebrate in hope and that's what we're going to do tonight so i just go back three months this is what the lord told us like put up that first slide we have these uh prophetic images that we get when we pray as a team natalie lakar chris keyes and michael search and myself our team members so we we pray in advance and we saw a couple of prophetic images one was some white daisies which are symbolic of of hope humility and purity you also had an image of a a very dark forest it looked like it was something out in bc with big fur trees it was foggy it was misty it was dark but a little forest was this old large cabin that was was like a refuge and the people were overjoyed that they found this place of refuge although they felt they were lost in a large forest next slide are a couple of key scriptures from jeremiah we have a scripture passage of sorry ii maccabees jeremiah is actually hiding the ark of the covenant on the mountain where moses actually overlooked israel before moses passed away so he's found a cave he's put the ark the covenant in the cave now jeremiah was a man of hope although he knew the destruction of jerusalem was coming he he he hoped that the lord would reveal where the ark of the covenant is that was his hope he was a man of hope and the pastor's another pastor we had from romans 2 just that by faith we have peace with god through jesus christ we celebrate in our hope to share in the glory of god so this is the word that we thought the lord was saying to us in our last slide here we sense the lord saying delight in what has been revealed to you my people many long to know my mercy truth and love that has been revealed to you i long to lift the veil that covers the eyes of many to see what you have seen to show them the path of life so they will have the fullness of joy amen so lord just let that happen tonight lord so that's how we came up with the theme so for our first time viewers on uh on youtube i'll just quickly go through the format that we follow here we usually start with praise and worship and we believe here at saint mary's church that worship actually transforms us and we become so caught up being in the presence of the lord in his courts while praising that sometimes we'll exercise the gift of tongues in colossians 3. saint paul says you should actually sing the psalms and spiritual songs so you hear people singing in the spirit so if you have the gift of tongues i would encourage you to do that during our time of praise i'll be followed by a great preacher our companions lacrosse preachers are all good usually people walk away and say did our hearts not burn when he opened the scriptures to us so we've got some good preaching tonight we will have several prophetic words that people have been given on our last meeting in november we had six prophecies and the emcee at the time asked was that a word for you we found 60 people said yes that prophetic word was for me it was went for me and we expect the lord to do the same thing tonight with respect to healing we had over 11 healings that occurred last november in the night of worship ministry a specific one would be there was a word of knowledge that there was a man with a blue shirt who had ms and the lord wanted to heal him don't we get an email about a week later saying that was me i had a blue shirt on i was diagnosed with ms they found it with some other disease and i was healed praise the lord so we expect the lord to do that sort of thing tonight as well we have a prayer prophecy team and they they pray ahead for who's going to get healed tonight so we have no less than 24 physical healings words of knowledge and about 11 inner healings so let's um let's just get prepared to worship let's prepare to to enter the courts of the lord with thanksgiving and praise and i would suggest that we take we take david's approach david knew how to celebrate if our theme is to celebrate and hope david knew how to do that just read the psalms you know david number one he would have stood up you know so if you're watching on youtube right now i recommend you stand up david would raise his arms he says that in about three psalms to raise raise his arms in fact saint paul says in first timothy especially you men raise your arms when you're praising god david would shout and clap his hands of psalm 47 and says clap your hands all you people show to god with loud songs of joy and we have evidence in ii samuel when when david is is bringing the ark of the covenant into jerusalem he's dancing before the lord and we have a we have an opening praise song here that it just caters to that that the spirit leaves you just just dance in front of your computer screen those folks on youtube give yourself some room you know i mean i might just do the two step you know just one two one two it's very simple i'm a terrible dancer don't look at me but i encourage you to let the holy spirit take over and fill you with a spirit of celebration okay so um i just want to say our prayer ahead of time uh for this time of worship uh my sense is that some folks are really struggling with this omocron i had an image of somebody in a cave and it's they've been in the cave for a long time but they can see a glimmer of light and they're and so there there could be some hope they can get out of that place of darkness i sense the lord saying i know what you're struggling with i know the darkness that you're experiencing allow me to bring you into the light allow me to fill you with love hope and joy so let's let's let's respond to that word let's just let's just leave ourselves open to the holy spirit so lord in this time of worship lord i just come against any spirit of oppression lord any spirit that's not of you lord i just cast out the name of jesus lord set us free lord set your captives free lord set them free to worship you wholeheartedly who ask this in the name of jesus who lives and reigns forever and ever amen glory to you thank you we spirit let the spirit renew you restore you open your arms invite the spirit in power let him come in power let him minister to you now we ask in jesus name amen we have one more song let's just images as we've been worshipping and the first one is with every person there's this tornado or a whirlwind and it's it's it's a hunger whirlwind you know you could be doing anything else friday night you're free in life to do whatever you want but here you are hungering after god and it's just this the lord pouring down grace and the second image that i had was one of uh it's one where when you cut a uh cut a log cut here say you're working a sawmill and you cut a log that it's a very prized piece of wood and then you pour water on it to reveal the intricacy and the beauty of what the wood contains and i just had this sense of the lord pouring out this grace across you washing you clean revealing the intricacy and the beauty and the wonder of who you are thank you lord reveal to us who we are lord show us our beauty that we would be before you without fear without shame that we be free before your glorious name lord amen [Music] you well thank you lord for ministering to us in this time of worship lord thank you for catching us up in a tornado lord we give giving permission lord to swoop us up lord take us in your arms lord yes lord thank you lord it's my privilege to introduce our speaker tonight father francis donnelly originally from galway ireland his family immigrated to montreal he was ordained in the diocese of montreal in 1979 he's a very experienced pastor he's worked as a hospital chaplain he was a diocesan leader of the charismatic renewal in montreal area and he was also a leader of covenant community in montreal later he joined the companions of the cross why because their care is massive they're evangelical they're ecumenical they have a high devotion to marry they're eucharistic and they believe in parish renewal so officially father francis is retired but there's no retirement when you're working for the lord he's now holding position of chaplain of the encountering ministry uh here in ottawa so he's it's kind of like helping run a signs and wonder school very big on healing and prophecy now he has an infectious smile he's full of the joy of the lord and and i told him once father you know i don't think i've ever seen you not smiling i think he said you should see me on the golf course but we know that his passion for the lord is bigger than his passion for golf so let's uh welcome father francis and let's just say a little prayer lord just bless father francis lord anoint his words lord let us let his words cut to our heart cut to our mind lord you know sorry we come against anything that would that would uh take our attention from you lord and his words we ask this in the name of jesus who lives and reigns forever and ever amen amen so it's not hard to be smiling when you're around here with all of these holy and glorious worshipping people and the anointing presence of the lord the father and the son and the holy spirit so come holy ghost creator blessed and in our hearts take up your rest come with your grace and heavenly aid to fill these hearts which you have made oh comforter to you we cry your heavenly gift of god most high you found of life and fire of love and sweet anointing from above praise be to you father and son and holy spirit three in one and may all right the last line is gone great old song but it is come holy ghost and killing us the fire of your love so we're here to celebrate in hope and the word hope now speaks of assurance and expectation our celebration in hope draws from a future reality as a sure thing we are hoping for eternal life a share of divine life in the kingdom of god beyond the death in eternal life and so we celebrate in hope all the time because we've got a sure thing and that sure thing is being imparted to us every day when we celebrate eucharist here in church so i want to speak a little bit about this assurance and i'm going to go back to my old days when i was a life insurance worker and the life insurance business we had one kind of particular insurance plan life assurance but it was called endowment assurance and you paid out a thousand bucks we'll say a year for 30 years in premium and you were assured it was guaranteed at the end of that 30 years you would receive your 35 000 sure thing you put in your premiums and you collected it and you could count on the insurance company to cough up at 30 years but then there's another aspect to it and that was that if you died in the meanwhile the 35 35 000 would go to you in your in your family in your inheritance that death benefit was that 35 payable immediately it's a little bit like uh our sure hope our death benefit is payable immediately we take off we enter into eternal life eternal glory so then just a couple of aspects to our hope you know that it is a guaranteed death benefit it's guaranteed and the first part of it is that we have eternal life in a sharing of the divine nature as jesus who said the one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and i will raise him up on the last day and is guaranteed by the lord second thing about this plan of ours there are no premiums to be paid it's a free gift of grace to sinners who deserved nothing but or nothing like that and the other thing about this one is that there are instant benefits as well and the instant benefits involve a down payment a first installment on this divine eternal life the glory that is to be ourselves and the first part of it is the forgiveness of all the debts that we've accrued through our sins and it is the indwelling of the holy spirit himself is the down payment first installment guarantee of this eternal life they have eternal life those who believe in jesus those who eat his flesh during his blood have eternal life and there is an installment there is a guarantee there is a portion of it dwelling within us dwelling within us individually and dwelling within us corporately as a people of god community of god then there's a fourth aspect to it all there are daily benefits there are daily benefits which are also dependent upon hope see that our hope now is the guaranteed sure thing at the end of our life but in the meanwhile we are also invited to receive every heavenly blessing so many blessings of the kingdom of heaven of eternal life already of the divine life day by day day by day day by day and these daily benefits are benefits that are there for the asking for the asking in expectant faith and assurance and i kind of give the word hope another expression that we often use it's expectant faith expectant faith we're expecting something we don't have we're expecting we can get it we expect and we will get it because the lord has provided it for us and he has promised it to us he's going to give it to us he's going to give us the daily bread the forgiveness the deliverance that we need on an ongoing basis and so when we gather together to celebrate in hope and rejoicing in our god we're already taking possession of his of the blessings as it were and we're celebrating because we've got the sure hope and we've already experienced so many of the blessings we ought to experience the holy spirit dwelling within us and we can expect more blessings even as we praise even as we worship we're here to receive more and we do receive more it's the great benefit of us so we celebrate hope hope our hope is a sure thing i often like to ask people when they say i hope so is that a sure hope or is that just wishful thinking our hope the christian hope is a guaranteed thing it's a sure thing it's a sure blessing the benefits in the future benefits now so i have this little act of uh hope that i took from my childhood it's the fundamental basic little act of hope and every child should know it but nobody knows it these days and don't relate to it or don't know how to relate to it but anyway it's this oh my god i hope in you for grace and for glory because of your promises your mercy and your power oh my god i hope in you for your grace and for your glory because of your promises your mercy and your power it's a sure thing it's a guaranteed thing we can rejoice in hope we can celebrate hope so i want to go back through some of these aspects of the hope that i was speaking about you know what we are guaranteed and what we are already experiencing and what we can be experiencing day by day so if you just think about the first aspect of it the death benefit that we are guaranteed here are some of the scripture quotations that kind of feed on that or feed it for us the first one is the one that i really love i've actually memorized it myself from way back is the first letter of saint peter and here's what saint peter says blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ by his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead and to an inheritance that is imperishable undefiled and unfading kept in heaven for you who are guarded through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time a couple of things there we've been born by his great mercy i hope in you for your grace and your glory because of your promises your mercy because of your great mercy we've been born to the living hope living hope through the resurrection of jesus he's already overcome the death established the eternal life he is living in that resurrection life and power he is sharing himself with that resurrection life and power it's living living living hope because he is the hope the hope is in him my god i hope in you it's in jesus who has risen from the dead and it's imperishable and undefiled it's a sure assured thing life assurance eternal life assurance kept for us in the heavens regardless through our faith now our faith but our faith that also is an aspect of of assured hope isn't it ready to be revealed in the last time and then here is the celebrating and hope that he encourages in this you rejoice though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials that will end up in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of jesus christ now that's the great final payoff the return of jesus in glory the resurrection of the dead the life eternal in the very bodies then he says celebration wise without having seen him you love him though you do not see him you believe in him and you rejoice with unhonorable and exalted joy because you are obtaining the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls so even now you are rejoicing with honorable exalted joy because you are already obtaining experiencing receiving it you have you are experiencing it now in your communion with the lord and is ministering to you and you're going to be experiencing it in his blessings his anointings his miracles his blessings for you today this evening tomorrow whenever and that's all part of the assurance the absolute assurance of our eternal life so he then says in verse 13 so set your hope fully set your hope fully on the grace that is coming to you at the revelation of jesus christ and your hope then can be fully set on jesus and on this guarantee this glorious kingdom of god the share of the divine life eternal life which is coming to you at the revealing of jesus and we can say of course that the revealing of jesus will come for me personally when i die and enter into his presence and then of course if i die before he comes in glory i'll be coming with him in glory now we've said that this is a sure thing that is related to the future blessing of eternal life and it depends upon as we say god's promise itself it's god's promise what he has promised to us and he's been delivering but here's the promise again in the letter to the hebrews we have this little passage in chapter six it says it's impossible that god should prove false to his oaths of promise for that we who have fled for refuge might have a strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us and we have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul it's a hope that enters into the inner shrine behind the curtain where jesus himself has gone as a forerunner on our behalf a high priest forever is god's promise and jesus is the assurance already it's the hope that is sure and steadfast anchor for us our souls nothing can interfere with this nothing can shake this nothing can blot it out we can celebrate in hope any time any day under any circumstances any pandemics any afflictions any dying we have the grasp on this eternal life i think one other little passage that expresses this as well i mean you see it pull that one out here this one is from the prophet isaiah and it's again the dimension of the prophecy that is assuring us of what we can hope for the lord says through the prophet isaiah in chapter 62 you shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the lord and a royal diet i'm in the hand of your god you shall no more be called forsaken and your land shall no more be termed desolate but you shall be called my delight is in her and your land married for the lord delights in you and your land shall be married for as a young man marries a virgin so shall your builder marry you and as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall your god rejoice over you dear god the divine promise prophetic word hung before jesus himself appeared and entered into that eternal divine marriage relationship with god humanly humanly in his humanity he has begun the fulfillment of this promise this assurance this eternal life the one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and i'm going to raise you up on the last day which itself is also a dimension of the promising and of the assurance so the scriptures are so full of all of these declarations and assurances and proclamations you know and the revelations of of the the great hope that is ours that we can count on as the surest of sure things in our faith in our life so there's the the eternal life that we're looking forward to and then there is the the whole dimension of the no premiums no premiums we don't pay for this we don't earn this we don't deserve this it's the free gift of god's grace it's a grace for sinners for sinners for the ones who didn't deserve any relationship with god or any life beyond this life who deserved the sense to be lost in their sin so it's the gift of his grace and the grace that we're saying see that is not just a free gift but it's a gracious benevolence towards the ones who had no claim on it whatsoever except that there were poor miserable sinners now i want to emphasize this part of it see to again establish the hope the hope that belongs to us and that isn't just a kind of wishful thinking or wishful hoping or hoping against hope or anything like that it's the sure thing itself the grace of our god has provided it for sinners and we qualify we don't we don't deserve it by anything we could possibly do and we don't lose it because we're sinners we qualify for it because we're sinners we receive this great grace of salvation of redemption of deliverance from condemnation our sins because of our sins and so we have the grace that allows us to celebrate in hope a sure hope as people redeemed by the lord so some of the scriptures and passages that kind of emphasize that among among all of the many ones that we have let's take a look we have the letter to the hebrews in chapter 9. jesus he entered once for all into the holy place taking his own blood thus securing an eternal redemption for sinners his own blood is the price for our sins he's paid the price we qualify therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance since a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant our sins are not going to be condemnation for us we can receive the forgiveness of all our sins all the past sins that we have committed the sins we're committing today the sins will commit tomorrow and the future they've all been taken care of and paid for we only have to come and collect on it turning our lives over to him in our faith and again when we come to the confessional as catholics with our baggage of sins we've got the right the claim on the forgiveness we've got the joy the assurance of having the cleansing power of the blood of jesus to come upon us there's no condemnation for us here's another one that comes from hebrews in chapter 10 i love this one when christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins for all time a single sacrifice for a sentence he sat down at the right hand of god for by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified therefore since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of jesus and that is drawn here with a true heart and full assurance full assurance of faith with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience let us hold fast to our confession of hope without wavering for you promised is faithful and let us consider how to stir one another up to love and good works not neglecting to meet together a few powerful things in there by the single offering he has forever perfected those who are being sanctified the single sacrifice for sins is now being applied to those who are being sanctified i'm not a saint i'm not going to be a saint until he takes me up out of this world there never was a saint who was canonized in this life they had to be perfected you know in the very passing out of the world itself but he has perfected us and we are in the process so there's no condemnation for us who are still sinners yes we're fighting against our sins which we're trying to enter more fully into the kingdom of god the blessing of god the life of god the love of god but we're still carrying a baggage and we're still going to be carrying baggage and it cannot condemn us because he has forever perfected us already and provided the perfect sacrifice so let us hold fast to our confession of hope this is the sure hope isn't it and so sometimes i say to people you know and i said in the old days when you come to confession you know in the confessional you don't come sort of feeling bad about yourself and kind of thinking that god's kind of mad at you or you know and he might kind of tell you to get lost but you come boldly with confidence with assurance your sins have been paid for and they can be blotted out their effects can be plotted out by the one sacrifice is forever provided for that so you're coming to get what belongs to you what belongs to him and just getting cleaned up cleaned up more and clean up more and entering it more and more of course zealously enthusiastically into the kingdom of life the holy spirit life until it becomes to perfection in the kingdom of god so then i just think oops i better move along fast here i'm thinking of all the instant benefits all the instant benefits can that relate to uh to hope okay that again hope has to do with things we don't yet see so what are we going how are we going to get them we're going to be asking and receiving as the lord says ask and receive ask and receive and we're going to be kind of coming to take hold of it and to receive these even before we see them you know when the lord said ask and you shall receive he's saying now have a sure expectation that you are going to get what belongs to you belongs to your prayer what belongs to god's kingdom in you god's will and god's plan for you here's some of the scripture quotations i think that underlined this for us and the just the whole reality of the blessings from the letter to ephesians chapter 1 verses 3 blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ who has blessed us in christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places for in him we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace which he lavished upon us and in him we who first hoped in christ we have been destined and appointed to live for the praise of his glory and he name also you who have heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation and you've believed in him you were sealed with the promised holy spirit who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it to the praise of god's glory you have already been sealed with the promised holy spirit promised holy spirit who is now this presence and the guarantee and he's the source of our taking in all the blessings that have been lavished upon us and that belong to us in the present time in the present days and he's the guarantee of the great final assurance besides you know let's take another one just to underline it and then i'll see if i can bring a little conclusion to the exhortation here tonight here's yes you had already uh the inspiration for the theme came from the letter to the romans in chapter five and here's a little passage there with it therefore since we are justified by faith we have peace with god through our lord jesus christ through him we have obtained access to the grace in which we now stand and we rejoice in our hope our hope of sharing the glory of god more of that we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and yours will produce character character will produce hope and hope does not disappoint us because god's love has been poured into our hearts through the holy spirit who has been given to us they already got it how they got the gifts the grace the blessings the present ones and that then connects with see all of the ones that we can be receiving day by day day after day and the ones that we receive as jesus would say was by faith or we could say by expectant faith by hope hope is an expectant faith so when we come to invoke his name for the blessings for the healings for the revelations for the ministries of the holy spirit because all the blessings are ministries of the holy spirit see we hope that we expect that he is going to act and he is going to give us what god has promised and what jesus has won for us and what belongs to us in these many blessings of the daily bread of the daily healings of the daily deliverances the daily anointings of the love and the peace the joy of our god so i'll conclude and just with again the little act of hope which i want to offer to you hope you can catch it and take it to heart my god i hope in you for your grace and for your glory because of your promises your mercy and your power my god i hope in you for your grace free gift gracious gift for sinners you're great and your glory wow the sharing of the divine life the divine power majesty blessings the kingdom of god on earth and in heaven it's because of your promises you have just laid it out in so many prophetic ways and so many psalms and so many throughout all the ages and especially then in jesus your promises and your mercy the mercy mercy love of god that redeems all sinners and all sinful conditions and restores the dignity the light the glory pours his blessings back upon his people and his power and his power then it is the power to give eternal life to dead people dead as they live but dead from their graves as well the power that raised jesus from the dead is the holy spirit particularly again scriptures tells us it's the power of the holy spirit has raised jesus from the dead that body that was done away with finished dead as dead could be as dead as your body will ever be raised from the dead and has been established in divine life and eternal glory and that power is already at work in us all right with us it is holy spirit himself dwelling within us and working the kingdom of god for us day by day by day for us who qualified through our faith maybe through our hope our expected hope he's paid all the prices he's provided for us he's got the power for it he wants to deliver it we can come and get it come and get it and that's why jesus himself said ask and you shall receive seek and you shall find knock on yourself have it opened to you everyone who asks receives everyone who seeks will find everyone has whose knocks will have the door open for him so celebrate in hope celebrate and hope and set all your hopes of the glory to be confronted when the lord jesus appears and rejoice and celebrate that hope now today tomorrow in all circumstances all conditions you got already a grasp on eternal life and nothing nothing nothing can take that away god bless you [Applause] father francis just uh thanks for all the scriptures that you opened up and i think it was peter 5 that that that struck me my first peter you were talking about uh unperishable undefiled yeah it's just great insights you have on it and i'm so thankful that you moved from life insurance to selling eternal life we're so lucky to have you as a fans of the cross and mentoring god's people thank you again so we have um a testimony of um uh a man named jeremy rivet karnak and his wife monique here as well jeremy was a founder of saint francis herb farm up in the common area mary's bay area and he's he's since retired and he wants to share with you a story of hope in that big transition of life so i think i asked jeremy to come up here and we'll hear his story about his his recent move to ottawa hello thank you chris hello everyone when i was younger i worked in an outdoor school teaching among other things canoeing and kayaking going down rivers and when you would paddle down a river you'd notice at the sides of the rivers there was a bit of calm water and we'd call those eddies so when we'd get tired of paddling we would swing into these eddies for a bit of a rest this was an analogy for our life really we worked hard and life was busy after homeschooling our children looking after our parents at our home building a business we really knew what living in the fast river was like and so then we would go into the eddy the uh what we'd call the secret place to be with god in september 2020 my wife and i took the encounter school of ministry and after about seven months we realized that you know we couldn't live our life full time in the eddie it was too comfortable and we would start to stagnate so we we decided and we prayed and decided that you know we would move to ottawa and join an active parish we decided to sell our property and move into an apartment this is a big deal because we'd home homesteaded for 33 years in the ottawa valley and we'd never lived in a city or even in an apartment so encouraged by how fast the properties in our area were selling we decided to put up our our property for sale we were told that it would probably last our house would last maybe a week on the market it would sell quickly so we started to sell our possessions because we couldn't take our house or our workshop into our apartment well the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months and we started to pray nine day novenas to saint joseph and our lady of cumbermere one after the other nine of nine of them and we were wondering when we were going to sell questions started to arise did we hear god correctly was this our own kind of fantasy our hope was shaken really we were having second thoughts but with every new novena hope was enkindled we received an offer but it was only a conditional offer so monique [Music] monique had the idea of coming to talk to father bobedard so she went to father's grave and had a word with him after uh he also monique also came here to st mary's and after mass she uh started to talk to natalia who we all know has a great prophetic gift and natalia prophesied over monique and said that a breakthrough a breakthrough was was coming very soon so buoyed by this we started our 10th novena monique at father bedard's grave and me in cumbermere we started so after this novena had finished the day after the people who had put in a a um a conditional offer uh put their house up for sale and the very next day the sunday their house sold as a result we had a firm a firm deal on christ the king feast day so we realized right away that this was the beginning of a new advent for us and for the people who bought the our property in reflecting back over almost seven months we realized that we needed all of that time to reflect back on 33 years of god's god's grace in our lives things we needed to repent of and people we needed to forgive this is a great grace for us the household yes on christ the king the last sunday in the liturgical year which in itself was meaning to us because we were saying goodbye to the an area that we had been living in for 33 years we arrived in ottawa three weeks ago on january 6 of this year the feast of epiphany and the feast of brother andre bessette we felt deep down that this was an epiphany moment for us in many many ways we also realize that over the last 33 years the three p's prayer patience and perseverance have always been with us with this move at our age when normally security would be paramount we are grateful that our prayers have led us to a deeper trust and surrender as padre pio would say pray hope and don't worry god bless you all thank you [Applause] thank you jeremy lord bless your time here in ottawa and um thank you for sharing how about you do you struggle with hope do you give in to despair sometimes you know i've been there as part of my conversion i didn't have any hope i was moody i was angry i was frustrated i get into you know bad moods for three or four days and finally you know jesus came along and i gave my life to christ and i had a different perspective in life not that i didn't have difficulties but i had hope and i was able to pray and i would see answers to prayer but how about you are you struggling right now with uh with omicron you know you're you're just done with covid you're done you've tried everything you're frustrated you're angry you don't know when it's going to end you might be lacking in hope and the lord wants you to surrender lord wants you to know that he's got your back he's aware of all your sufferings and he took all your anger and your frustration your disappointment he took it all to the cross he died for all those transgressions that you might have experienced in the last two years and he wants you to surrender in a deeper way he wants you to invite him in he wants to give you a greater outpouring of the holy spirit so that you can live the life that you were created for to be the person that he wants you to be so just joining me in a prayer certain right now just repeat after me lord i'm sorry for trying to do things on my own strengths for not relying on you [Music] for not turning to you i'm sorry for ignoring you [Music] i'm not trusting you for the way i've treated others around me i want to thank you lord for going to the cross for dying for all my transgressions for the times i've offended you and offended others thank you lord lord i'm begging you please come into my life send me the holy spirit restore me and renew me now if that's the first time you've done a prayer like that a surrender prayer we recommend three things one get involved with the church and if your church is closed go online but make sure you're faithful in attending mass either online or in person number two read the gospel of mark from front to end and let the lord minister to you for his word is alive and will cut to the heart number three get unsolved in some small group you know do it online but get involved with small group small group of the people other believers to support you amen so we have a number of prophetic words here that we want to share with you and we're going to start off with some folks that couldn't be here tonight and here's a word from suzanne staples she was led to three bible verses ephesians 1 18. i pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people every day can you not perceive it romans 8 15 the spirit you receive does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again rather the spirit you receive brought about your adoption to sonship and by him we cry abba father zephaniah 3 17 the lord your god is with you the mighty war who saves he will make great delight in you in his love he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing so sam believes the lord saying dear children you once were slaves but now my blood has made you sons and daughters of the abba father receive your inheritance receive your proper identity take your eyes off the world's identity keep your eyes on the grace that i keep pouring on you every day listen come to me for everything i am with you in the now stay with me in the now i love you let me transform your vision of yourself i rejoice over you let's just take that to prayer have a father you made us your own your love drives out all fear we delight in you lord you give the desires of our heart when we delight in you bless the lord glory to you lord another prophetic word from vivian gillis isaiah 49 15 and 16 can a mother forget her infant be without tenderness for the child of her womb even should she forget i will not forget you see upon the palms of my hands i have written your name and your walls are ever before me passing from jeremiah 31 3 the lord appeared to him from far away i have loved you with an everlasting love therefore i have continued my faithfulness to you female since the lord saying i love you with an everlasting love you are my people trust in me where your hope is secure let me be your rock your refuge in times of trouble you are my people and i am your god i love you i bless each of you i will never forget you let me be your guide [Music] she also received an image of a balloon bursting confetti showering down on us and you just believes that the the lord is saying the lord is blessings pouring his blessings over us so let me just thank you for your faithfulness lord we've never done without you've always been there for us lord your love endures forever praise the lord marie chantal the well also has a word from the lord she had an image of a heart enlarging expanding beating she feels that she heard the lord saying come hide yourself in my sacred heart this is your refuge your shelter and your rock i'm the only one i love you as you are you are my beloved children extend your arm to touch my cloak the heavens are opened and asked you shall receive come to me your faith will make you well be at peace i am with you always and she was led to the passage in luke 8 48 where the um the hemorrhaging woman was touching the cloak of jesus and jesus says my daughter your faith has made you well go on peace so let's pray lord jesus with what great love you have loved us restore us renew us lover of our souls bless your people amen a word from linda schultz in prayer linda thought the lord saying this is what is on my heart love for my people all my people i desire that every person created by my father out of its great love would be saved would be lifted out of darkness and error out of despair and loneliness and come into my kingdom now on earth open the doors to whoever i bring to you turn no one away let's pray lord it is not your desire to blot out anyone's name from the book of life proud to your mercy i was reminded of the prayer of adam a prayer that the angel gave to the three young children and i know ralph martin says this prayer every day he prostrates himself before the lord and says his prayer so maybe we could do this together if you're familiar with it lord we believe we adore we love hope and trust in you we may pardon for those who do not believe do not adore do not love do not hope do not trust in you lord we believe we adore we love and hope and trust in you we beg pardon for those who do not believe do not adore do not love do not hope to not trust in you lord we believe we adore we love hope and trust in you we beg pardon for those who do not believe do not adore do not love do not hope do not trust in you so we have one more word here that from natalya maybe natalia could come up and she could um do with this word herself let's tell you here there she is [Music] do [Music] i received a vision of jesus in a busy marketplace as he made his way through the crowd he stopped in front of an elderly woman sitting selling flutes jesus eyes were full of kindness and compassion when the elderly woman saw jesus she offered to him for free what she was selling then i received a flashback of an event in her life she was planting a small sibling with her father the seedling eventually grew into a tree and its flutes were the ones she was selling and offered for free to jesus i was also led to psalm 1 139 verse 13 you form my inmost being you need me in my mother's womb for interpretation i feel that this is a reminder that god knows us intimately he knows who we are and that we matter to him he cares for what is going on in our lives i sense that the lord is encouraging us to have a deeper trust a total surrender of what we have and all that we are including our trials and tribulations fears and failures because he is mighty to save who gives us hope the final image that i saw was of the same elderly woman standing up as jesus held out his hands to her then she was with jesus under the tree which she planted with her father dressed like royalty i think that jesus is reminding us of our identity our sons and daughters of god members of his royal household and as such we are more than conquerors through him who loved us for i am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers nor height nor death nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of god in christ jesus our lord this is from romans 8 verses 37 to 39 which i am prompted to share heavenly father we are grateful for your grace we thank you for reminding us of who we are and the authority we have because of the power of the death and resurrection of our lord and savior jesus christ may we be more sensitive to your presence as the holy spirit unceasingly impresses in our hearts your steadfast love in times when you feel down may we recall your glorious and mighty deeds so that we should set our hope in you may the words received and shared take good and bear fruit and if there's anything that is not of you be washed away with the most precious blood of jesus amen like you sister okay we have a number of uh words of knowledge that we need to go through here and um we're going to start with about 24 physical healings that we think the lord wants to do tonight and um first of all i might i might just give the glory of the lord for people that he healed that are at our last night of worship i just want to thank the lord for for healing somebody's hearing for somebody who was completely rejected somebody with financial worry somebody with envy bad back bones that were strengthened someone experienced heat all over their body someone was healed of a sore shoulder a speech impediment so we just want to thank the lord for that lord we just give you honor praise and glory lord we ask that you to this evening would also pour out your healing graces poured out lord god so i would ask when i go through these words of knowledge i would ask that you would pray in tongues if you have the gifts in tongues it's a good way to intercede i was reading a book called the gifted spirits handbook dr healey and randall clark randall clark tells the story that his child had an earache a three or four year old and and randall clark's wife was praying over the child and the child said stop using english use the other language and the so the mother started praying on tongues and the pain just disappeared so there's something to praying in tongues romans 8 saint paul says we don't know how to pray but the spirit groans within us so let's let the spirit groan in us let's pray in tongues as we heal about this healing work the lord wants to do so tonight a young woman is having difficulty with her sight for the first time and the lord wants to heal that somebody has a stiff neck and they're having difficulty turning it someone has suffered a groin injury you know possibly from skating the lord wants to heal that tonight someone who loves to dance has an injury is unable to dance the lord wants you to dance again someone who has an injury from a parachute landing the lord wants to heal you tonight [Music] a woman in her 50s has severe pain in her right foot due to inflammation and arthritis the lord wants to heal that recurring pain [Music] a number of words from pauline yanta who's on our prayer ministry team lord wants to heal a man of severe migraine headaches and knowledge of why and when they began is being revealed to him lord wants to heal somebody with neck pain there wants to heal a head injury the man will be totally restored he has a hard time believing that could be restored lord wants to heal sinus problems and post nasal drip lord wants to heal shoulders permanently bent from work the lord wants to heal a lump under the left arm of a woman the lord wants an arm to be healed one arm is shorter than the other and the lord wants to lengthen it lord wants to heal digestion problems there's a healing anointing present for different types of cancer particularly the cancer of the liver cancer of the liver is being healed one woman and five men with cancer of the liver larmosi hill right leg that has severe cramping due to poor blood flow [Music] lord wants to heal knee problems meniscus and arthritis issues lord wants to heal varicose veins that are very painful very painful and long-term [Music] the lord wants to heal joint pain the lord wants to heal a short leg one leg shorter than the other lower mossy hill arthritis in the feet the lord wants to heal a man named james who has severe covet related symptoms there's a man that approximately 40 to 50 years old lord wants to heal his right shoulder from an injury that he received at work okay we're seeing any responses to that um on the chat line if if uh if that's a word for you let us know just send us a chat and we could pray for a few more minutes for [Music] you so let me just give you these these entries lord we ask that you administer to the lord just pour out your grace lord we ask you to administer every cell in the body of those people that you want to heal just pour it out pour out your grazes pour out your mercies pour it out lord [Music] okay so i mentioned that we also have some inner healing and quite often the inner healing can involve some spiritual warfare and so i suggest that we we start off with the saint michael's prayer you can see that with me saint michael the archangel defend us in this day of battle [Music] be our strength my god rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou o prince the heavenly host by divine power cast into hell satan and all spirits are proud of the world seeking the ruin of souls so i have about 16 inner healings that the lord wants to do tonight so lord wants to heal someone who has fear of driving on the highway the lord wants to heal um and experience a trauma from a violent storm at sea laura wants to heal a boy that's 11 or 12 years old with blonde hair he has a deep fear of viruses lord wants to heal a 40 to 50 year old man who i'm sorry a woman healed of us who's experiencing deep grief over her family loss lord just pour out your comfort lord pour out that peace that surpasses all understanding have mercy on this woman lord wants to heal anger and resentment but he wants to heal work manager who's experiencing a lot of stress on the job laura wants to heal a pregnant woman who's fearing losing her baby lord have mercy on her the lord wants to heal a woman dressed in yellow who's being healed of a long-term deep depression lord have mercy on her lord wants to heal a young man being healed of a fear of commitment the lord is wants to break a stronghold over people who are depending on horoscopes to direct their lives lord wants to heal a brokenhearted mother because of her son's drug use [Music] lord wants to heal a man with a black leather jacket who has drug addictions lord wants to heal men and women that are in difficult relationships lord wants to heal a young man approximately 22 or 23. he's being lured by friends into a lifestyle of partying which will lead to trouble lord wants to heal a lack of forgiveness [Music] it's a key to healing so i just like anyone that's experiencing any of those needs any of those inner healings i just want to renounce some some some spirits that might be at work here and so i'm just going to renounce the spirit i'm going to ask you to repeat after me lord i renounce a spirit of fear in the name of jesus lord we renounce a spirit of anger in the name of jesus lord we renounce a spirit of resentment in the name of jesus lord we renounce a spirit of anxiety in the name of jesus lord we renounce the spirit of despair in the name of jesus lord we renounce any spirits connected to the occult in the name of jesus we renounce the spirit of addiction in the name of jesus we renounce the spirit of rejection in the name of jesus we renounce the spirit of unforgiveness in the name of jesus we announce a spirit of distrust in the name of jesus sorry spirits and any other spirits lord that are undermining your people that are oppressing your people lord we just ask you to bind them and cast them into the abbess we ask this in the name of jesus who lives and reigns forever and ever amen and chris chris we have a couple of confirmed healings uh cindy's the pain in cindy's right foot is now gone and jane um who's responding to the neck pain where it feels better and as we were praying i just kind of got the name or word wisconsin and the person's associated with that word their marriage is being restored amen and then also just had an image of a kind of a 70s style muscle car and the person who's associated with that will be really the lord's going to touch them in a special way yeah let it be so thank you lord please your lord just thank you lord thank you for ministering to your people lord i give you honor praise and glory blessed be your name glory to your name worth is your name okay we're out of time here and i think it's it's time to wrap up um i want to announce the next night of worship ministry that'll be on the 25th of february and our speaker is
