My AI Powered Bot Makes Scammers Angry (automatically)

the other day I was talking to some scammers and they weren't really paying attention to anything I said so I recorded myself talking and just played it on repeat I think I could get away with it with this call the guy it just doesn't thank you I thought it was kind of funny or at least ridiculous this camera was even entertaining the fact that I was repeating myself constantly and kept going through this scam and later that night I was reminded of a project we had made gosh a year ago during the livestream we thought it could be cool if we could create some sort of auto responding AI thing that would just talk to scammers by itself and we came up with this weird assistant tool right now it's trying to listen to what I say and you can see the text appearing that was absolutely terrible at talking to this camera as though Western amber what happens if I flip $100 Western amber of what happens if I flip $100 you would have a profit of $1,000 Western amber of what happens if I float on Western amber of what happens if I find out how to resolve you we have a profit of $1,000 at some point I got kind of bored or maybe overwhelmed with the project because I didn't know anything about artificial intelligence at all and we kind of just scrapped it but sometime recently I came across whit AI which is a neat little website which allows you to create an app and train it based on text and it tries to interpret intent and the more you give it the better it learns and I was thinking well if we could attach at least a little bit of artificial intelligence to this maybe we could actually talk to scammers with it the code does not look great but hey sort of works I get Mike input and then I send it to whit a high to interpret the mic input with things like how can I help you are you in front of your computer empathy the more you train the AI it the better it gets take that to a repair center is the hang-up we need to sell what to call at that plan based on the intent I play recordings of myself stuff like I don't know what you're saying right now and can you repeat that alright it can't hear me right now but you can see western amber says her ears are tingling which means it's waiting for mic input or it's waiting for this camera to talk because it's not hearing anything every once in a while I just mumble kind of like filler how are you doing that and so I might say something as a scammer like yes sir how are you doing today how can I help you with your computer I was hoping you could tell me because I can't seem to use it anymore you can see that wit a I interpreted the scammer was asking the caller reason what can you see on the computer screen right now wow you have that right there it's right there okay I need you to press the Windows key + R button please sounds great what do you see on your screen now I think I have what I'm supposed to you can actually see with 99% confidence that with a I thought the scammer was requesting what I saw on the screen and then the AI responded thank you for calling support it's Peter Hawkins I can help you uh he is just working can you hear me hello I can hear you sir tell me how can I help you someone caught me from this on their behavior but they didn't call him no sir you might have dealt numbers like I actually didn't leave a voicemail for me so my name is Patrick on behavior I hello hello sir hello are you there yes I can you hear me could you please speak up I don't know if you're there um I'm right here sir are you able to hear me oh yeah how are you doing today I'm doing good thank you for hunter how are you I'm doing good thank you how are you doing after each test I would tinker and change the code a little bit to make it work a little bit better oh yeah how are you doing today hello I can hear you yes I think I accidentally broke my lab too heavy I don't know what I did dude great great sir what about you this mine was me I don't really know what's wrong I just need someone to help me please that's all yes sir but you have to tell me that what's going wrong how may I help you I think I got one of them virus virus things on here I don't know if I got it but it's definitely on there I think what you gotta let me know bro I don't know give the guy a break I really need some help here please tell me what to do next yeah so what so what you got good to me it's a message on what are you doing now when I coded this I was anticipating this scammer leading you down the path towards the scam but this guy wasn't really doing that hello hi how are you yeah email sometimes the scammers have terrible microphones and I try my best to filter out the garbage it makes things difficult what should I do now I would say yes it's so bad I can't understand it are you there I didn't catch that come again alright so I believe you have a email like what what could we do I guess what do we do like it didn't even hear what do you want to do you want to answer if you want to continue this yes you wanna cancel it all right if you want to cancel it so you need to simply be in front of your computer so that I can connect the hour cancellation away what message go easy on it oh that's a big problem it says playing entity intent unknown but it's not like that was it near computer it'll be really long please speak up I don't know if you're there I think he thinks it now you can hear room someone called me from this number earlier yes can you hear me sir hello I I can hear you yes sir sorry for the interruption yes how can I help you today you're calling to Microsoft my name is Max did you say something yes you calling to the Microsoft support I am hotel and I get a recording on the voice mail machine there and I just wanted to return the call really quick okay hi I'm returning your call okay so it's not perfect sir I'm there yes I'm here I got your message you left for me yes can you tell me what do you see on the screen okay do what now okay so can you tell me what do you see on the screen sorry can you hear me yep yep so how can I help you today well you don't want to left a message for me on my phone I got a voicemail on earlier yes are you talking I can't hear you yes yes please yes could you please speak up I don't know if you're there so the filler has to say something like well what do I do are you the one who left a voicemail on my phone the other day that guy called me right back no I'm not the one you're calling me today are you the one who left a voicemail on my phone the other day no unfortunately the AI repeated itself no hello are you still there just shut up okay oh how dare you I mean that guy just yelled at a robot and for 12 hours of work I don't feel like it was that bad I'm definitely gonna keep going with I hope this becomes an open source type project, where you can record a handful of lines according to some scripts, and let this run for scammers.

It is fascinating to think AI can interpret intent. If AI could reliably interpret intent more accurately than a group of humans, imagine the implications. Not just for something like internet moderation, but for the criminal justice system.

There is already an auto reposen service for this shit and its really impressive. check out jolly rodger telco.

the ai reponse is pretty neat though, hopefully he wastes lots of scammer hours.
