Music Is Awesome

before this video begins I just want to announce that we are now selling the common sense shirt the long-awaited common sense shirts so yeah I could type in something else y-t-dot-com and go buy it if you want it yeah also I love you okay bye music it is probably man's greatest thing that they made somehow with like sounds and stuff I love it I find it so interesting how we can combine different sounds to make them really pleasing to the ears it's really cool and if you think about it anything can be music grab a few sticks off the side of the road and tap them against something grab some silver spoons from your mom's kitchen and claim them against each other maybe sing a tune if you're not tone-deaf and boom you created music beautiful just just beautiful when I was younger I was a very distracted kid I would just be all over the place either causing trouble or just doing hyperactive dumb crap so my parents thought it would be a good idea to get me into something that would distract me but like in a good way according to my Madre they tried multiple things to keep me distracted they put on different movies or TV shows by me playing cards to try to get me into magic and stuff and even went as far as to just drop me off in the desert never to return okay I'm just dumped joking but they they try to help finally my parents out of a solution The Beatles well music The Beatles were the first band I was introduced to who are the Beatles you might be asking like you don't know stupid there were music geniuses that's who they were I at the age of like 4 was in freakin love with their music from I want to hold your hand to Strawberry Fields their music was just pure awesome to my tiny child ears I liked him so much to the point where they started to make me want to get into music myself specifically the guitar so being a 4 year old kid I of course non-stop begged my mom to buy me one I would beggar every single day every single place we went didn't matter the time of day or the destination we were at I wasn't gonna give up on spending my parents money for self-fulfillment that guitar was going to be mine eventually my mom cave 10 was like okay I'll buy you a damn guitar freak yes mom you won't work out this I swear it yeah whatever at least they'll keep you occupied to distract it for a while she bought me a little mini guitar and I had no idea how to play it and was four so I got bored of it in like three days and never touched it again I know what you're thinking and freak no I wasn't I know I wish I was a spoiled brat actually no I take that back I probably would have grown up to be a huge douche couple years passed and I'm still really into music I started to listen to different types of genres like rap pop acoustic music R&B a lot of other ones I wasn't really into actually playing music because we could never afford any instruments so in my I think middle school mind I never had the drive to try to start playing music although I never owned an instrument being around my dad's family they're like musical geniuses I was able to at least try to play and was able to pick up different instruments within days I mean I also could have joined band in school but I wasn't really into brass type instruments or being a huge nerd one random day my dad called me into his room and I was like balls what did I do this time yeah hey go grab me the toothpaste from the bathroom what why couldn't you've just gotten up and got it yourself just go get it for me please I don't underst you don't even have your toothbrush why do you why do you need toothpaste AJ just go get it I'm just like trying to process our lazy and random you're being right now like who needs toothpaste waling and just go get that to the place here's the toothpaste also I think you left a guitar by your bathtub Adam that's your guitar are you freaking serious my dad bought me a normal-sized guitar because he was awesome and was feeling generous that day he really wanted me to get into creating my own song so this was his way of pushing that forward the really cool thing was since I grew up watching and listening to people play the guitar like my cousins and various family members I was able to pick up how to play it no problem within like a day I had already taught myself how to play I'm Yours by Jason Mraz granted that's a very easy song to play but hey it was a big achievement for me at the time eventually I started creating my own songs with the few chords I knew at the time and created sort of my own style of combining acoustic music and rap not to toot my own guitar no not the type of rap where I'm just randomly throwing up gang signs guitarra talking about all the I be getting how I'm the best using really heavy auto-tune even though I'm rapping and not singing and we're talking about all the money I don't have because it was most likely wasted on expensive useless fast cars sorry I'm getting off-topic but yeah I like to express myself through the songs I created kind of what I'm doing right now I would talk about stories and events that would happen in my life my middle school life what the heck did I make songs about I was in middle school what the heck happens in middle school oh that's dumb I was really passionate about the songs I created like there wasn't a force in the world that can make me lose focus on what I loved creating well that's what I wish happened see I grew up around not-so-great people throughout my life and middle school through high school is where I met the suckiest of people most of the time I would have one person in my ear telling me that I'd never really make it in life and that I'd be nothing constantly hearing that I'm nothing and will never do nothing throughout the duration of my childhood just kind of hit hard in the motivation department after a while I just stopped I stopped doing a lot of things that I love - like animating creating music even YouTube there just wasn't a point if I didn't really have much people support I mean I always had my parents slash family support but you know how kids are with parental opinions being called nothing destroyed my drive of doing anything so I just focused on school continued to try to fit in with crowds and just flipped on the life autopilot mode a good thing is that I was taking a guitar class in my high school so it wasn't like I was about to lose everything I learned I mean the class didn't really help that much because it was mostly a teacher self type of thing but the teacher was freaking awesome video on him coming soon and the classmates were were decent that's Julie where I met my best friend Bailey sup Bailey so dumb I just wasn't as passionate about music as I used to be did I mention I played the piano for like a month one time I dropped that - yeah that's the end of this video hope you enjoyed it don't forget to smash that like button you think I just quit forever well I didn't dummy see I started to realize something something super important and that everyone should think about from time to time I started to realize opinions don't matter if you don't let them I know this is crazy but it's the truth I just stopped caring about what people thought about me because why I care about the negatives people are throwing at you when you can just create positives to combat it I was gonna prove everyone who doubted me wrong to show them that not only am i something but I am something else hence the creation of my name well do that and it's combined with a stupid joke I thought of my my content is something else yes I started getting back into things I love like my youtube channel animation / drawing and even music the passion was and still is back and if you follow that's basically how I got in and out and in and out and back into music I've actually created like three songs I'm really proud of it might release them sometime in the future I take a lot of
