MAJOR Storage Treasures Found Abandoned for 80 Years

oh my gosh oh my God so cool oh wow [Music] just by the storage units paid 690 dollars for this unit um and uh yeah we're in downtown Portland we have Ashley Ashley's here to help let's do this hopefully there's some good stuff in here is it go through any of the boxes we don't go in the unit we just start filming guys this is exactly how I saw in the photos before I bought it I did notice this really old trunk and this is an abnormally big one normally they're not this big so hopefully there's some stuff in here um there's also a lot of tubs so I think this is going to be a household unit there's also some boxes here and I kind of figured that these are probably empty we'll check right here to see yeah they feel empty to me but the reason I like those Banker boxes is I'll use them for my garage sale I'll put the stuff in it and then scatter those boxes all the way around so people can dig through them because they love to take through boxes I also got about a hundred and fifty dollars here we have 10 000 BTU that's actually probably more about 150 bucks at least and they kept really good care of it we also have this other one over here so there's about 250 dollars right there so that pays for about half the unit between those two things so and then also we'll have to go through the tool chest and see what's in there but what are you thinking he's interested in the truck that's cool yeah the trunk is really cool and it's big it's a pretty old one too I don't know we're gonna go through that soon though we'll probably start with these tubs and we'll go through the trunk because I can't wait all right before we get going I was talking with Ashley on the way here the last couple months there's been a lot of mixed negative comments in the comments guys yes be kind to the comments um it's easier to be negative than it is kind so no more negative comments in the comments guys uh we we read all the comments unfortunately I don't have time to answer everybody because we're getting like three or four hundred per video sometimes more between all the other platforms uh but no more negative comments if they're too negative I'm just gonna start hacksing and this will auction off guys this is a really old lock with the key that is so cool that is really really cool and then we have a lighter from Guam this is from Guam it says hers on there from Guam so that's man there's some good stuff in here I tell you I was worried from the first two tubs oh wow look at these people collect these knives these old knives look at that boys and girls that is nice still in great condition too normally I find these suckers but they're a little bit smaller it's a girl wow look how young he was oh yeah let's not show his name but he was really young huh yeah this was the oh yeah back then I'm not entirely sure how old he was but that's sad he definitely looked Young these are really really nice knives you probably actually use these knives all right let's lift back yeah oh man I already see something I I have one of these flags from when my dad passed away it was over his casket and we still keep it in the living room this is going to go back to the family personal effects and then they shipped it home probably yeah that's when this was all his personal effects when he passed away so we're gonna give this back to the family this is the bag they kept it in see this is yeah this is all funeral stuff so we'll give all this away back to the family you know this is the first time we found it like I mean I bought I bought probably seven 800 units or more and this is this is the first time I've seen this where it was full of you know I don't think this facility will take clothes back no they'll take those back oh yeah they'll take all of that back they'll take that back too we'll put on a big box this is 100 personal I mean technically there's a couple things here I can take but I'm gonna give it all back to the family too much bad juju when you don't uh you wanna hold that too much bad juju when you don't give this stuff back we want good karma this is a gorgeous piece though I mean you wanna hold that I'll show them look at this it's in beautiful shape guys beautiful shape and it's got the pants in there they that's something special all right okay and then this obviously really important there's some cool stuff in here though and the trunk is nice yeah I'll have to take the trunk somebody will like that all right we're gonna put all this away and we're gonna separate the personal so we don't have to do that in a second and then we're going to continue to go through the units and I see a couple things that I'm really interested in look at the dust on that by the way all right don't go anywhere guys we'll be back all right one last look at the trunk it is gorgeous and and there's people that were pair of trunks so if your storage unit buyers you're gonna find a lot of those just search because there's people that will repair the trunk and then you've got these two guys this will go good in the garage sale like I said 250 bucks right here probably 150 for the trunk but they do sit they do take time to sell so and then you've got the Craftsman let's see half the time oh we'll use this we will use this today actually um is there anything in there probably just drills it's heavy use your muscle use the muscle oh yeah it's a whole set SK Tools looks like an oil holder set to be honest oh wow that's full guys it is full what the heck's going on yeah this way oh these are these are the nicer ones these are all made in the United States Craftsman guys forged in the United States this is the good stuff right here this is the good type of set we could use those too I'll put those right here yeah I'm gonna take out some of the tools I think this is this is the nice stuff made in the United States this and this by the way will sell nicely in the garage sale and what else oh okay what's hiding up in here oh God drill oh this is a really old craftsman set yeah open that up that is old wow wow guys it's brand new and it's all there I'm trying to think the actual date of this but I want to say the 70s or 80s right or maybe older that's in there this could be worth some money right here actually okay and then we got saw yep I can always use one of those some other stuff in here lock it that's an old Black and Decker okay not bad we've got some tools guys got some tools all right we're gonna go through this stuff right now and figure out what we have but before I'm gonna get all this stuff on that is that another one oh 1956 that's the year before okay there was that that was back when people used to carry those big pieces around this one I'm assuming paperwork too yeah yeah look at the dust on donated to our church the same place that we donated that medical bed that the guy broke his back and his insurance wouldn't pay for the bed and so he's like I got the best night's sleep ever so we one of the first storage units I've done where I gotta run um I tried to show you as much as I possibly can by the way all those are empty by the way so those are all empty but we have to get out of here guys what do you think Ashley pretty awesome unit yeah and all these tubs were given back including all the uh stuff from the trunk all those tubs were given back I mean all those tubs were given back a lot of photos in this unit so and then I got to get this back in the truck right here so we got a lot we gotta do and like four or five of these tubs we're giving back this is the most personal
