hey Internet welcome back to the wind channel so unfortunately this is going to be one of my last m855a1 videos because I am running out of this ammo but I have had a lot of requests to shoot it through a standard cinder block I hope this is a standard cinder block I was a dollar fifty at Home Depot so that's that's what I'm going to shoot at got my 16-inch barrel ar-15 here I'm not going to chronograph it because I have in the past and I don't want a bunch of cinder block fragments to hit my chronograph so I'm just going to back up to ten or fifteen yards or so and stand behind something I'm gonna try and put one of these because you wanted to hear what it sounds like when I get freaked out by a giant wall I'm going to put one of these m855a1 rounds right here on the left side and see if we can get it to go through both sides I don't know how many cinder block videos you guys watch before but I did a little bit of research before trying this and it looks like really only AP rounds go through both sides of a cinder block green tip won't do it and 193 won't do it seven six - you know m83 Oh 308 won't do it shotgun slugs won't at least not through both sides it seems like pretty much all the rifles and shotguns stuff can get through the front but but very rarely do do do you see any that X at the back I saw one video the brass fetcher did where a couple of AP rounds made it out the back and like a 338 or something did but it's pretty tough to do however I have been surprised by the m855a1 round a couple of times already especially for the velocity it is quite the penetrator so I'm going to back up load up the round and take a shot at the center block and see what happens okay there's the entrance where the m855a1 went in and I'll just show you the back of the block here real quick you can see that it did not come out and there's the inside or came through the front wall you can see all the pulverized cinderblock down in there and you can see over there in the corner there is a big dent but it did not go through and I'm not sure how easy it is for you guys to see but that dent in the back is not at all lined up with the hole in the front so it deviated pretty good and I just snooped around in there a little bit and I found this which appears to be the copper slug that is behind the steel penetrator and it's mangled up pretty good I'm going to look around and see if I can find that that piece of steel okay so I didn't find any copper jacket pieces but it looks like I did find the steel penetrator that is what they call the steel Arrowhead not deformed at all I think one of the things that happens though when you know by the time the round goes through however thick that is a cinder block it shreds whatever delicate parts there are of the bullet and almost for sure it's going to tumble and deviate so even though that hardened steel penetrator wasn't deformed or bent or whatever it probably smacked that back of the block sideways I think that's part of the reason why you have a really hard time getting through both sides of a of a cinder block I still have a few more cinder blocks left I think I bought five of them so I'll probably make some more cinder block videos if you guys have any other suggestions for the m855a1 you should probably make them now because I really only have a couple of them left and and once they're gone they're gone they're really hard to come by so as always thank you guys for watching the one channel get you next time
