308 vs 6.5 Creedmoor vs 338 Lapua vs Concrete Blocks

[Music] what's up guys my name is scott and you're watching kentucky ballistics today we're going to do 308 versus 6.5 creedmoor versus 338 lapua versus cinderblocks before we get started here's a quick size comparison on the left you have a 308 and the middle is a 6.5 creedmoor and on the right is a 338 lapua okay we're going to start out 308 we have us here a hala model 1500 chambered in 308 this is a bolt action rifle and it has a beautiful american flag cerakote on it very cool rifle the ammo we're using is a remington 308 150 grain core lock and we're going to be about seven yards back so nice okay so here's where the 308 hit blew through the first block hit the second block and it did not penetrate into the second block but the energy of that round knocked a lot of material out of the back and of course we cracked this block pretty good and there is a little piece of our bullet and it's still hot just a little bit next up is the 6.5 creedmoor we're going to be using a ruger american bolt-action rifle and for ammunition we're going to be using remington 6.5 creedmoor 140 grain core lock let's see what we got there is our entrance hole came through the back hit our second block but we did not penetrate into the second block and there is no damage on the inside of the block fairly good can't use it though damaged it stayed together ah now last but not least it's time for the 338 lapua this is a savage 111 long range hunter chambered in 338 lapua our ammunition was sent to us by our friends over at double tap ammunition this is a 338 lapua 250 grain nosler accubond oh pretty big difference so the 338 lapua went through the first block and flew it all to pieces and i'm pretty sure it went into the second block but it did not go all the way through it and it doesn't look like it did much to this second layer but it did blow the top off and it landed on top of block number three well that's it for today i hope you enjoyed the video be sure and give it a like and subscribe to the channel if you're a new subscriber make sure you hit that little bell at the top it's going to give you notifications when we upload new videos also be sure to check out kentucky bliss's clothing and check us out on patreon facebook instagram and twitter links to all those are in the description down below or you can find them on our website kentuckyballistics.com again my name is scott thank you for watching kentucky ballistics and i'll see you next time you
