M10 Mask - How to install filters

all right folks I have the m10 mask here I just got it haven't put it on or anything but a couple things I wanted to go over for people when you get this thing it comes with these filters they're sealed now first before I say anything this is not a NBC mask is not going to protect you against any nuclear biological or chemical warfare this is for CS CN riot-control type the places or gasses so to your gas basically is what this is for all right it's not an NBC mask when you get it it comes with these two things if you've never been the military metal thing that our replacement lenses but what they are is there to protect the actual lens from scratches or damage or from being broken basically because if we were wearing this thing you don't want your lenses to break you let in gas or you know at the very least you're going to scratch up your lenses whereas if these get scratched up you can replace these you just kind of have to work the rubber seal around it there's really no easy way to do it all right you see I'm struggling here a little bit but this goes all right the US military ones are a little bit easier to draw because you can just hold this seal back place it on and then put the seal back around it but these ones are a little bit more difficult but there you go wasn't too horrible so there's that part up on the front here the m10 M I believe it is has the drinking tube this is the m10 it does not so there's no drinking tube or anything there's a voice emitter on here just like the military US military just so your voice comes out through it a little bit easier alright I got this one filter installed and it can be kind of a pain in the ass especially if you don't know how to put it in you kind of don't want to put it in wrong you don't want to damage anything so you're kind of hesitant to really do anything they come like this okay this little black thing here this black thing has to come off I thought it was like a seal to keep a sealed against the inside of the mask I got it in there and realized oh crap that's got to come off it's just to protect the inside of the filter during like shipment or storage I don't know this little thing was in the package with the mask not quite sure yet what it is if I find out I'll throw a note on here update this alright so this is how it is as you can see this filter is not going to go in on this side that the shape doesn't match it they're specific to the side that you got to put it in so what I did is I it down and there so I knew which way I had to go in there alright then you take it you open well hang on and I pull the straps up and over top of the mask alright so that it's opened up alright kind of like how you should be storing it so that's ready to be put on okay so open it up again this is how this filter goes in here you're going to want to feed this end in first is easiest inside there's this flap and then kind of the whole thing kind of just opens up and then it buttons closed so you're just going to see me struggle here for a minute to try to get this in because it's not something that's it's not like the NATO filters where you just screw it on this is honest to be honest it's a pain lateness which I can see now why these things are not around anymore whether it be the US version or the this is a Czech Republic I guess it's a Czech mask but the US had a similar one and now I know why just go the standard NATO parts sassette pain in the ass as you can see it's it's kind of have to work it in there then once you get it in there you kind of want to feed this rubber let's see it's not all the way in really I'm going to feed this rubber kind of gasket or opening around the outside of that the opening to the filter working up a sweat doing this again like I said it's see now it's not even not even underneath the rubber on the inside that's when the problems coming in right here oh yeah oh it's kind of lined up I just got a hit this rubber piece lined up there all right whoo all right and then once you get that lined up before you do anything on the inside get this piece screwed in there okay so that you got it in you got it lined up get that piece on there all right there you go now on the inside like I said there's these little buttons or little buttons pretty much self-explanatory even they're a little bit of a pain all right now now these filters that I guess they're not in production really anymore so you're going to be getting surplus filters trying to get them as new as you can because they expire after like 10 to 15 years so again not an NBC Mass this is for tear gas stuff like that actually uh I should say CS or CN I don't know I guess that's basically tear gas but this is not an NBC filter BAM all right and be honest with you I won't lie D I'd go on the internet to find out with them filters in because I had no clue and I didn't want to break anything which is why I'm making this video I got this mask to do some pictures with you know kind of its own it's kind of almost more of a novelty item because people are looking for NBC masks and this is again a riot control agent type mask so I got it for to do some cool and if you can see those I'll throw some up on my site on the review of Mona but uh but on keep shooting calm which is where I got this from there 14.95 I believe current price that's what
