[Music] would you stand with us please and we're gonna look to God in prayer praise the Lord our Father we're grateful indeed and thankful for all of your blessings we thank you for your precious Holy Word we know that without you we can do nothing we know that without you we are a failure we realize and know and acknowledge from the natural standpoint our inability and insufficiency but tonight we come washed in the blood of Jesus robed in his righteousness and remember that the Word of God declares greater is He that's in you than he that's in the world and we trust the greater one who lives in us God the Holy Ghost and her bold to confess that he lived begin tonight he will think through my mind he will speak to my lips he will unveil the Word of God unto this people and we pray for the congregation that each year shall be listening that each mind shall be open that each heart shall be receptive unto your Holy Word and will give you the praise and the honor and the glory for everything that's wrote in our myths for we ask it in the lovely and majestic name of our Lord and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ amen amen you may be seated if you have your Bibles tonight I want you to open them to the Gospel according to st. John now while you're finding that opening Saint John's Gospel chapter 11 while you're finding that opening I want to say this to you in the daytime these are primarily teaching services however we said to each individual each teacher you just teach whatever the Lord tells you to teach minister any way that the Lord leads you there's no restrictions and no bonds and no chains on you the ninth services are a little bit different we we endeavor to keep these services more of free services really camp-meeting style services you know I was thinking as I said here on the plant farm an older gentleman said to me some time ago in fact he was 91 years of age and he was old-time Methodist and he said to me you know he said a lot of times in these days these Full Gospel people make a lot of noise shouting praising God but he he said to me as he pointed to a place not far from his house right on that hill we used to have an old-time Methodists count meeting every summer Methodist and he said I'll tell you the truth about it the youthful gospel people couldn't hold those old-time Methodists you just couldn't even hold a light for them to see by the shout hey man they'd shout circles around you amen I remember another gentleman said to me is 8 to 9 years of age when he was talking to me he said to me you know and he knew I knew exactly because I've been there as a boy in this church as a Baptist Church Southern Baptist Church and he said you know we used to several years ago he said to me we had services every Saturday night every Sunday morning and Sunday night in that church the Saturday night service he said particularly were just simply a fellowship type meeting now this is Southern Baptist and he said you know very seldom with the preacher ever get to preach he said some of those Baptists Methodists and people even from the disciples of Christ Church would hit the door shower and then child up and down the aisles and then testify and sing and we'd stay there sometime half than I don't say no that was a Baptist Church you'd think it's full gospel but it wasn't is a Baptist Church and it didn't happen too terribly long ago he was 89 when he's talking to me well you see those every denomination fourth that's concerned this ever known anything about the moving of the power of God and the Spirit of God used to have camp meetings and some still do and so we endeavor just assualt to recapture that old-time camp meeting flavor praise the Lord and in these night services they're just free open services to sing to preach and to minister ever how the lord may lead people to be saved they'll be filled with the Holy Ghost and to be healed by the power God and I don't know what we'll be doing each night I may be teaching I may be preaching and ministering just anyway the Lord should lead and in these meetings particularly I don't take a lot of time to do a lot of studying I do endeavor to do a lot of praying and waiting on God and I don't take time always to outline a message sometimes I just endeavor to get into my own spit in a text and sometimes I don't know what I'm going to say when I open the Bible and sometimes I after I get in the pulpit to change the message and sometime right in the middle of a message to change and so we don't have anything cut-and-dried about this we'll just go in and direction the Lord wants us to go sometimes we just get a thought as the Lord would minister to us so you pray with us and believe with us for the guidance and direction of the Lord in all of these services but I'll tell you tonight I sort of feel preached if I'd hey man you know what's it a violent that the spirit of preaching gets on me you know I'm known as a teacher and I do a lot of teaching somebody said lots of different between teaching and preaching well when you teach you'll go a little bit more into detail about it when you're preaching just sort of hit the high spots you're going so fast you can't get in the details you know you'd fall down if you did amen that's my main to the difference but I'm like one fella down in Texas he said I wouldn't preach anything couldn't teach and it wouldn't teach anything couldn't preach amen now then you have your Bibles open to John's Gospel I talked long enough that everybody should have found it but now we go to read just one verse for a text tonight the 44th verse and he that was dead came forth bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was bound about with a napkin jesus saith unto them lose him and let him go now that's what I'm gonna preach all tonight is lose him and let him go praise the Lord amen Lolita God you see these words were spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ there at the tomb of Lazarus who had been dead for days and Jesus and the 43rd verse when he had thus bacon the spoken he cried with a loud voice Lazarus come forth and then the text said he that was dead came forward bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was bound about with a napkin jesus saith unto them that is under his disciples lose him and let him go now you see Jesus raised this man from the dead this is a picture of a person being raised from spiritual death Ephesians 2:1 said he who were dead in trespasses and sins hath he quickened the word quicken means made alive and only God can give life to the dead I cannot quicken a man's spirit I can give it him the life quickening word but individually I cannot save a man Jesus is the Savior I can preach the saving message but Jesus is the only one that can raise people from the dead spiritually are you listening to me and so this is a type of spiritual death but I want you to notice as this man came forward as Lazarus came forth from the dead he's raised from the dead he is alive he's not dead he's alive praise God but he's still bound there are a lot of people that have been raised from the dead spiritually but they're still bound the grave clothes that which belongs to the dead somewhere and other hangs onto their hands and their feet and even had a napkin over his face jesus said to his disciples you loose him and let him go Jesus raises people from the dead but we are workers together with God and he's given us the glorious prerogative to lose people and let him go praise God forevermore now then this command is very enlightening as I said it's the work of the Lord to raise the dead but it's the joy and the god-given prerogative of the believer to loose from grave clothes and napkins those whom God has thus delivered them and what a wonderful privilege and what a god-given right it is to share this power praise God with him the Lord Jesus Christ to set men free from the shackles that bind them thousands of people today are alive they've been saved they've been born again and they're children of God all right but they're bound hand and foot just like Lazarus was bound hand and foot by these grave clothes what a picture of helplessness he was alive but he was bound and he was alive but he was helpless he could not free himself Jesus did not say to the man loose thyself he said that the disciples you loose him and let him go it's our job to do that it's our job he had to be set free by others and so hard a responsibility for the great responsibility lies at the door our door as believers to use the god-given power the name of Jesus the Word of God praise God to set men and women free there are multitudes of people lying around about on every side who will never be set free even though they're alive from the dead that they're helpless and bound they will never be set free until and unless we as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ set them free and so he said groups and let him go now then I want you to notice that this not only in this 11th chapter John's Gospel and 44th first lucemon let it go is not only a marvelous in thrilling chapter and this is a marvelous in thrilling verse and this is a marvelous and thrilling word but I want you to notice that word loose in there lose let's look just for a moment at the word loose before we get further into the Word of God let's look at several scriptures for instance that has the word loosening the Bible said in Genesis the 49th chapter and the 21st verse nuts Allah is a hind loose Genesis 49:21 nebka lie is a hind let loose now did you ever see a hind or a deer let loose it's full alive I just wonder if we as God's children are full of life and spiritual energy or are we going around through life half dead half hearted unfit and unable to help and delusion those who are those who are bound you'll have to be loose yourself before you'll be able to lose anybody else and the reason a lot of things are not happening in some churches because they're all about they need to exercise the authority is theirs and and Lukas praise God I remember years ago a minister friend of mine said to me in fact he was a farmer Nazarene pastor and minister been baptized of the Holy Ghost was the full gospel of andis at the time and so he said a number of years ago he was conducting the full gospel meeting in West Texas and out in the summertime way back in the 30s he said they had what they called an open-air meeting you see a churches weren't had a condition in fact we just didn't have our condition in those days and so out besides the church building that put up a platform to sell to shield him from the wind and then just benches all around and cars and park around and and it called it an open-air meeting I preached a number of those myself in the days that are gone by and so this man was a really a very conservative type of fella he wasn't the type of fella that's always a whooping in a Hollander jumping in a running not that type of fella at all but just a very quiet individual very mild-mannered it is a wonderful preacher alright but a very quiet mild-mannered individual but she said one night he was sitting on the platform with the pastor and and the this song leader was leading congregational singing and the other bench was full and there were cars parked all around and these cars were full of people and this was just a small town really of only about five or six thousand population you seem to look like the whole town was out there and so he said you know well the well the minister was singing he said I saw my mother he said I just felt like jumping up and running and he said I I thought well no I'll not do that I've got this Mecca fool myself right here in front everybody but he said before I realized I didn't really intend to do it before realize what to do and I just jumped up and jumped off the platform and ran you know around these three sections of seats like they are here and he said you know he said I went around once and they went around twice and he said when I went around notice the past it was right behind but just to run it and when the rain around the third time he said I saw and this is back in depression days you've got to realize you know that that folks were poorer then it didn't have a lot but there's one man in town he was a president of the only bank there there's about the richest folly in town he's only man in town too had a Cadillac limousine and he said I went around the fair town cause the past and introduced me to this fellow you see and pointed that car out comes the only one in town and he said you know I had a T model for these back in depression days but this and he said you know he said that as I went around the third time I noticed that car there and it just I thought all my here the bankers out here the leading Menten citizen of this community and he'll think that I've just you know blow the top nut and said it's not lost the victory and and just had difficulty preaching just on velocity but he said the next day we were uptown I with the pastor and we was walking along and we went by this Bank and the president ran out of the bank out on the street and stopped us and shook hands with us and said I just wanted to tell you preachers how much I enjoyed that service last night he said I've been to going to church nearly all my life and I enjoyed that better than anything I've ever been in in my lifetime he said I don't know about it but he said I'll tell you one thing I just got thrilled and blessed seeing you fellas run he said I'm so glad to see people that's got something that they're fearless he said when I go to church everybody acts like there's a funeral they act like their segment with the dead nobody's thrilled about anything I'm glad to see people that had something from God that they're thrilled about it you know I believe we ought to be thrilled with what they have from the Lord I tell people all the time and I don't mean this the wrong way because to think it's all right if I had time maybe I'd go but folks go out to the ball game you know and some fella running around out there with the bag and wind under his arm and they'll just jump up and down - who from the Harlem when he makes a touchdown but somebody can go to church and jump up and down the Hupa harlot because Jesus made a touchdown in their spirits and some people think they're nuts well I'll tell you about God we've got something the sound of Bounce he's not right not to like is this a high now a hind as a deer and as I said I don't know much about a deer let loose but I can remember as a little boy my grandfather always kept a cow and he would he went to work in the wintertime I went to live with him as nine years old and he went to work in the wintertime before daylight and so the I'd go to school I'd milk this cow and then the time would come you see when that cow would have a calf and and we did pretty good she was in town now and we didn't have all these restrictions you know so he can keep a cow bag you know but we just had a small lot and he just had a little pin I'll take the truth for that poor little old calf it was about four before and that worked very well as long as that calf it's just little small can't you see but I'd let that calf out particularly after it got a little bigger little old you see to to eat you know because it was supposed to get so much milk but I couldn't get that kid back in that pen I wasn't big enough after it got so big I tell you that calf would run around and around and around and around that whole lot just to jump in and the kicking up his Hill and I'd tried the corn rich and over in one corner of that lot and then did take off again and just kick up its Hill well I mentioned that's what he was talking about when he said nap t'lie is a hand let loose now okay if I'm running and a jumpin and a kicking it's here it were just so glad to get moose praise God for evermore then the Bible said in Isaiah the 52nd chapter in the second verse shake thyself from the dust arise and sit down or Jerusalem loose myself from the bands of thy neck or captive daughter of Zion now the word loose is in there the Word of God says in Galatians 5:13 that we are called under Liberty you see Jesus has set us free and the Bible said whom the soul is set free is free indeed the word indeed that means he's really free praise God and so you can see in this verse that we are to be lose then and Isaiah of the 58th chapter 26 verse is not this the fast that I have chosen to loose the bands of wickedness to undo the heavy burdens to let the oppressed go free and to break every yoke now notice the expressions in this verse to loose to undo to let free to break and all of those statements are involved in the command that we're considered lose him and let him go then in Jeremiah and the fortieth chapter in the fortieth verse the word says and now behold I loosely this day from the chains which were upon thine hand and that's not the captain of the guard said to Jeremiah I loose the this day thank God Jesus has loosed us from the bands that were upon our hands and if we don't know how to enjoy our freedom then bless God some of the rest of us will have to help those that are bound to be free then then the hundred and one hundred and sixteen psalm in the sixteenth verse thou has loosed my bonds the psalmist cries thou has loosed my bonds I will offer to be the sacrifice of Thanksgiving and will call upon the name of the Lord I will pay my vows under the Lord now in the presence of all his people now notice what he said thou has loosed my bonds I will offer to thee the sacrifice of Thanksgiving well you see when you're really loose you're just keep take keep ke to hell can't keep from praising and thanking God because he's loose now then come into the New Testament this observe another verse that has the word loose in it Matthew 18:18 once every shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven now read this context carefully and you rhythm you'll find that this refers to touch action I wondering how many of our churches today do we find this power of binding and loosing in evidence and yet these are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ it ought to be happening then in the thirteenth chapter Luke and the twelve verse Jesus said to a woman who had come into the synagogue where he was ministering and her body was bound together in a stationary position perhaps with arthritis or something of that nature and the scripture said she could have no wise lift herself up and Jesus called the woman to himself the scripture said and in this twelfth verse he said woman Thou are loosed from by an infirmity now you know really when Jesus said that she wasn't loose he was saying that in faith he said thou art loose then the Word of God said after he said that he touched her and it became a reality and she straightened up and was able to walk straight you see Jesus was a faith man and he was a faith teacher and he was a faith preacher and he called those things which be not as though they were when he said to that woman Roland Thou Art Loosed of mine infirmity she wasn't loose she's still bound over just like she was wasn't any better than she was you see a lot of times Christians today blessed there darling hearts they said that call those things which Mina that don't make sense and sometimes I've had people you're don't to speak disparage they know me because I speak preach faith but I just smile to myself because I said dear Lord they don't know they're talking about Jesus and calling him a nut many idiot and say not agreeing with him he did the same thing I just always feel better and better off and I feel like I'm in better company with Jesus and to follow Jesus then I am to follow some of these what they call in theological circles higher criticism and you can take some fellow you know some theological and I'm not against theology but too many times the theological concepts are not in line with the Word of God and you can take some big theologian you know with a high top hat the bay window front the big education and know God and everything he said some folks want to follow it but I'll tell you I'm just prone to follow Jesus aren't you can you say amen amen and so Jesus said woman there are those who read it for yourself Luke 11:13 our 13th chapter 12 Thou Art Loosed from an infirmity and when he said that she was a moose she just is bound to share or she's just as crippled shamera there was no evidence that you could see that he could see or than anybody else could see that she was loose he called those things which be not as though they were faith always calls those things which be not as though they were you see the Bible says in first Peter 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were he knew or in other words in content in my Condon our keeping with the text tonight in other words you were loosened from your sicknesses you see we were loosened at Calvary but this becomes actual when we believe it now a lot of folks want it to happen first and then they're going to believe it jesus said it's the other way around you believe it and then you're having and then notice the text said loose him and let him go about loosening people what are we gonna loose them from I have five suggestions tonight number one loose the center from his sins somebody said can we do that well let's read some scripture first mark the second chapter in the seventh verse who can forgive sins but God only but notice John the twentieth chapter in the 23rd verse whosoever sins you remit their remitted unto them and whosoever sins he retain they are retained now you see here's two portions of Scripture that seems to contradict one another because here one verse says who can forgive sins but God only and here's another text where Jesus said two men who soever sins you remit their remitted unto them whosoever sins you retain are retained under them now does me and how pound to remit people's sins are to retain people to sin well of per se no but you see what he's saying to us is this that we have the message of salvation when a man when a warm-up when a young man or a young woman or a boy or a girl or any person comes to the altar it comes to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior comes repenting and turning away from their sins praise God we have a right to say to them your sins are remitted bless God and when they reject him and turn away from we have a right to say your sins are retained they're not limited are you listening to me we have that a thought we have a message that our free people from their sins we have a message that all those people from their sins and then again loosed the sick from their diseases well now are we gonna lose people from sickness and disease ourselves within our own strength our own power no no a thousand times no but we hope the authority we have the healing message we have the Word of God we have the authority to tell them what God's Word says and God's Word said himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses that is Jesus took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses and we read the text by whose stripes ye were healed and then in Isaiah said that he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with His stripes we are healed you see healing belongs to us so number one we have the healing message and many people will be here just simply by listening to that message they will be loosed from their sicknesses and their diseases and then secondly God has set in the church gifts and ministries now you just can't minister even though you're called of God and even though you're empowered by the Spirit of God to minister you just can't minister to everybody on the same level are you listening to me because you see these gifts are manifested as the spirit realms not as I will or it was me I'd do it every time but it's not me I remember I was preaching right here in the state of Oklahoma in the year of 1952 and and so one night they brought a fellow on the stretcher I didn't know him I didn't know he was coming I learned that they brought him a hundred and twenty miles away in this ambulance you see to get to the meeting and so that night we had several ministers present to be exact five of them who had challenged us to debate and and they they had taught and preached and put advertisements in the newspaper and on the radio and wrote his letters you see and they said that all this healing business and all ended with Christ with the disciples of the Apostles when the last one died it's all over the Lord didn't heal people today now you know isn't that strange that every church and preachers and everybody believes the devil's got all the power he ever had he can do all he ever do but God can't No thank God God can not only God can but God does praise the Lord and so they were that well God had me just to change my message that night and so I I preached a different server than what I intended to preach just specially for these fellows benefit and I said another thing I said now some people say now if you heal the sick like Jesus and the disciples did why don't you heal everybody like they did and I said they didn't well I remember one of these fellows jumped to his feet when they did the other fella pool he wasn't one fellow he decided pulled him back down and so then I needed him a little bit I didn't really mean to but I guess it did I said I'm just supposing that all you folks out that can read and if you can't I want you to open your Bible I'm gonna prove that I wouldn't make a statement I couldn't prove but the New Testament I want you to open your Bibles to Mark's Gospel the sixth chapter and the full verse and here talking about the Ministry of Jesus the Bible said the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Mark said and he Jesus could there do no mighty work didn't say it wouldn't said he could he could do no mighty work save he laid his hands on a few and the fuze not everybody is it a few sick folk and he knew them and so I said to these fellas now when you find the answer to that you come back and I'll debate with you well you know they never did come back to debate they did come back to listen and said to some of the folks you know we're learning this thing's a New Testament we never did knows anything well thank God they are but anyway we can't we came to ministry I see I finished my sermon and just as I finish my sermon you see God initiate some things on his own sometimes the manifestations of the Spirit the truck chapter first Corinthians you see talks about these gifts of the Spirit and among these gifts of the Spirit one of them is the gifts of healings but it says that the manifestation is given to every man as the spirit world the manifestation is given the gift is manifested through individuals as the spirit world not as I will see I'm did it in a mess and sometimes as I finished my sermon the word of the Lord came unto me saying I heard it oh not with these years if I'd heard it these days everybody would hurt it but I guess I was the only person that heard I heard it in here see the inward man has ears to a word of the Lord came unto me saying demonstrate to these people or if you tell me to I demonstrate every night but if he don't say so I'm just as helpless as the next fella yes see demonstrate to these people watch you've said what you preach tell them that this man on the stretcher he's going to get up and walk off right in front of their eyes healed by the power of God and if he doesn't you're a false prophet well that's a pretty tough one isn't it and if he does see some folks laugh about that one but wait a minute about this one if he does which he will just get up and walk right off right in front of the crowd then this is a sign you see God does things initiate things on his own as a sign this is a sign under them everybody present a sign unto them that you are a prophet then that I've called you and a sign unto you that I've called you and have anointed you under such a ministry well I told him what the Lord said and then I said now some folks said well now they have all of that planned out you know I know you see because I started out as a Baptist minister and they used to tell us that you know that those folks would believe in divine healing would hire people to come in and make like they were sick or crippled or something you know or you know bring them in on stretchers you know they'd hire them you know and so I wanted to counteract that I said now some people say they just have all this framed up now I said first of all it seems to me that a twelve year old kid with one eye and a half cents could look at this fellow on that bed there and see three other guys we haven't got anything framed up here because that fella looks like a corpse already I mean he just look like a skeleton with skin stretched over it I said now who brought this fella I don't know him who brought him well a fella lifted his hand a man by the name of coffee mr. coffee who was at that time a Nazarene man but as a result of this healing some other things was baptized the Holy Ghost when I laid hands on him and in recent years have been one of the vice presidents you know the Forgotten bid him in down dueling but anyway mr. coffee said I brought him or this man gee I didn't know who he was this man said I brought him I said who are you well he told me his name was coffee he said I don't only at that time he owned general homes in Broken Bow coma in antlers Oklahoma and well a fire bomb down there in that area and I said to him we'll come up here he came up on the platform I said how many people know this man mr. coffee here well a good number of them lifted their hand I said how many of you think he'd lie about anything not anybody lifted the hand I said are you a Christian he said I'm a born again child of God I know I'm safe well I said what church you're a member of he said Nazarene well I said to you you brought this man yeah he said I brought him free of charge and the way he had to come now then they got some new roads but we talked about 1952 the way he had to come well he is a good distance about 120 miles to get thing and I brought him I said then then he came from your hometown or where you live now that is yes you know the man yes he said I know I've known him he was older than the man on the bed I've known him ever since he is just a boy now he is he really sick or did y'all just frame this up and I remember mr. Coffey looked at me in amazement he said well brother Hagin said said anybody with half cents can look at the file and see that he's died besides that he said I talked to his doctor today and he gave the name of the doctor and I so could the doc I said to the doctor I'm gonna came over then one of my ambulances the doctor said well if you can help him but it's alright but said he order been dead in fact I I predicted you know that he'd been dead that he would have already been dead three days ago he should have died and so there is then I said well the Bible said in the mouth of two or three witnesses now the man was so weak that he couldn't talk up where anybody could hear him so I said is anybody else mr. Kaufer said well my ambulance driver drove us over here one of the men that works for me well I said where is he well he said he's not a Christian he's outside maybe sitting out that Emilie's I said well go get him you're his boss tell him come in here I wanted so mr. coffee left the building and he came in with the man who drove his ambulance and I said bring him I don't up here on the platform I said after all you know in court already gonna do is swear phalion as a witness to tell the truth he don't have to be a Christian he just has to know something about the case isn't that right so I said the Bible said in the mouth of two or three witnesses he didn't say in the mouth of two or three Christian witnesses just two or three witnesses so this man can be a witness because he knows about this case so I said what's your name he gave us his name I said how old he was said 43 years old well I said does anybody here know this man a good number of people lived in the hand that they knew this man I said to him are you a Christian well he said I used to think I want to join the church there's a little kid we've been baptized in water but after got to working for mr. coffin he got talk to him if I've ever been saved I don't know it if I've ever been born again I don't know it so I'd say well I'm a church member but I'm not a Christian and I said that least that's being honest about you will tell the truth at least won't you he said I will well I said now we didn't just frame this up you know I'm economic like this fella is sick thick him fix him up you know to make him look like you know empowered him with white powder or flour or something to make him look pale you know I've heard the ignoramus is to see that you know and this man sooner man said Lord know why he said I know that fella he and I had the same age I've known him all my life he's known me we started into school together I know the man I know his doctor I know the doctor told me you ought have been dead no he said this is not a frame-up I said you're not lying about all he said anybody out there in the congregation that looked at him and think it's a frame-up must be an idiot well I didn't think we had any idiots in the crowd just half idiots sure I said well did you ever see America he said no I said staying here in your see one that felt Lee gonna get up and walk off right in front of everybody and I just walked down there never touched the fella never prayed for she you don't have to pray yes you can minister to the sick but pray you can minister to the sick mother laying on the hand all in that scripture you can minister to the sick with an awning of all all that scripture but you see we don't want to rule out than moving and the operation and the gifts of the Spirit of God as the speed will and to an ease in manifestation you don't have to pray for them you don't have to anoint them at all you don't have to lay your hands on him I didn't touch the fella I just spoke to it said her eyes my brother not in the name of Jesus and God's my witness at the old house all the folks that he got up walk across the front of the congregation that crowd the church the building and was he you write that in front of them praise God now don't you misunderstand me at all if I could do that I'd be doing it in every service but you see I can't do that only as the spirit wheels now let's stay open to God and let him lead us and let him guide us can you say Amen I remember I had another experience I didn't have another experience like that for two years I'll tell you some of these people with some of the gifts that they've got this operating every day and every half minute never meant it on the hour and three times the days it scares me sometimes because I pull every plug and push every button say everything the same place and nothing ever happened sometime amen are you listening to me I'm afraid too many times we're trying to use the Lord instead of letting him use us I didn't have another experience just like that for two solid years and I was preaching the camp-meeting out in Santa Cruz California for under the larger Full Gospel denominations and on the Saturday night there's a woman there on again on a stretch of case and I'd had a number of stretch of cases since it and some one were healed but not like that and but but I had a vision the night before in the nighttime I woke up and was praying and had a vision and saw this woman and solemn a seminar to her the next night I just went out acted out on I saw the night before divisions he was here at their funny of Odyssey well we want to stay open to God and you see through the Word of God through prayer through the land on hand through the anointed of all through the gifts of the Spirit through the manifestation of God's power praise God the sick can be loosed from their sicknesses and their diseases and then we need to loosen those who are bound by a satanic influence now you get over in this realm of of demon activity some people go wild but actually it's a simply a a manner in a manner really of definition we talk about demon possession sometimes and every time anybody's influenced by demon or oppressed by demon in any way some people said well they must be demon possessed well no actually they're not to see to possess something means to own it to take full control of it and if a person was demon-possessed you see man is a spirit he has a soul and he lives in a body remember first Thessalonians 5:23 Paul said praying for the church at Thessalonica I pray God your whole spirit becomes to the outside now and soul and body be preserved blameless under the coming of the Son of man they know then if a man is fully demon-possessed then he's taken over under full control of demons spirit soul and body you see your mind is your soul were a part of it at least so he would be a raving maniac as long as a person and that doesn't mean insane people are demon-possessed I ministered to six people who were inmates of the asylum I didn't go back to minister they were brought out for me to minister some were brought out on furlough and so on some of them are borne out purposely for me to minister to and yet I only dealt with the devil on one case and they were not just exactly possessed they were their mind was oppressed with that spirit their spirit was not and they've been set free only one out of this out of the six and five out of the six were completely healed and pronounced by the same sakera tests had said their mind will never be right they were pronounced 100% normal and healed and dismissed and sent home praise God now there for a person to be fully demon-possessed means that they're taken over under full control spirit soul that means mind and body they'd be a raving maniac as long as a person knows what they're doing it's not a raving maniac they are not demon-possessed now just dismiss that from your mind that's absolutely the truth amen are you listening to me now I know that some folks would disagree with that statement but I'll just have to cook the Bible to it Bob said let him the Signet be ignorant still so if you want to be ignorant just go on keep on being ignorant but if you want to get in the light becoming walking the word no even Christians sometimes come under the influence of demons demons tries the influencer and the Bible calls sickness satanic oppression doesn't it and many times people are really bound I mean even Christian people something this man was alive from the dead Lazarus was alive from the dead but he was bound hand and foot helpless couldn't do anything for himself he had to have help their Christian people that a way that has to have help are you listening to me and I know that a lot of people a lot of charismatic s' I've been playing around in this area of demon evil spirits like little children playing Church but I'll tell you the real truth about the matter is that we need to learn something from God's Word we need to learn the authority that belongs to us and take the name of Jesus glory to God and set men and women free and teach them the word and then there are those that are bound in spirit they're Christians then they don't have any bonus they don't have any bonus to testify well you called on I know I passed another twelve years I had people in my church that was good Christians I know this born-again children of God paid to die supporting the church prayed find faithful people but if he wants to set something to just call one of them the lead in prayer there so bounding they couldn't say anything if you were to suddenly call one of them to get up and testify they couldn't do it to save their life to bound in spirit you see when I'll tell you the best way in the world to get free is get full of Holy Ghost glory to God amen get full of the Holy Ghost the Bible said on the day of Pentecost in acts 2:4 they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak you can't be filled with the Holy Ghost without speaking just to show she should get fooled he gotta talk praise God he meant they were fair with the Holy Ghost and began to speak the Bible said speak with other tongues as the Spirit of God gave them utterance and this same group of people you read on that's acts 2 now in acts 3 you read where Peter and John went up the gate through the gate beautiful into the temple you know at the ninth hour prayer three o'clock afternoon and they sent a man lame from his from his mother's womb who was crippled you know and he looked on Peter and John mast arms of them and Peter's fastened his eyes on the film but John said silver and gold have I none but such as I have give IV in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk and he took the man by the hand and lifted him up and immediately some feet and ankle bones received strength and the man was healed and went into the temple walk in the leapin he is loose but God walking leaping and praising God in the crowd gathered together and Peter said while I look on us as though by our own power holiness we had made this man to walk but he said faith praise God faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in the faith which is by him has given this man perfect soundness in the presence of you all and the Word of God tells us then that Peter and John were taken into question and they were commanded to preach and teach no more in the name of Jesus and over in the fourth chapter of the Acts of the Apostles began reading the nineteenth verse it says and being let go they went to their own company and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them and they lifted up their voice unto God did prayer with one Accord saying now Lord behold their threatenings and then if you conclude that prior at the end of the chapter it says and grant the thigh servant shall being able to speak to I word with boldness by stretching forth on him to heal the sick and the signs and wonders shall be wrought than the name of the Holy Child Jesus now get this verse and the place the place where they were assemble was shaken not just them shaken the place was shaken praise God acts 4:31 the place that means a house shook why sometimes people get excited bless their darling hearts and stupid heads they get all shaken up get all shaken up because the power dog gets on somebody sometimes they shake a little bit said what's the matter with them they got the shakes you know there was a reliable movement here in America one time to call shakers did you know that research history I always loved history ancient history modern history church history always loved history in school always made a straight A plus in history never made anything less than that great history love studied church history right here in America I'm pouring and moving to the Holy Ghost there was a group called the shakers let's say because they shook under the power of God and people gets excited because the power of God gets on somebody and they shake why bless God the Bible said here the house shook you way to the house start shaking then they will get decided amen it said the phrase didn't say they did acts 4:31 the place where they were to simmer was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost that's that same box that got filled back there bless God next to they were all filled with the Holy Ghost now get this and spoke the Word of God with boldness you'll get full of the Holy Ghost it'll make your Beaulieu bless God either take that community that spirit of timidity out of your bus God and put a spirit of bold decision hallelujah Jesus we're seeing that the day in the charismatic movement praise God for evermore I meant I remember I was hold a meeting in a Baptist Church power of God was falling people being filled with the Holy Ghost speaking with other tongues people were falling under the power of God in a Baptist Church we would go after the service sometimes to eat I remember brother wood who was here tonight and my home pastor for 17 years in Garland Texas he was with me helping me on that meeting we'd stop by the cafe arrestor and after church some time to have a little bite and they're young people from this Baptist Church Oh the Holy Ghost would come in there to eat and I'll tell you all over the place they were praising God my time to rest it talking to people and getting people saved right that the table for God all glory to God when you're full of the Holy Ghost you are both hallelujah and we need a hundred paleness I'll tell you a lot of dear Full Gospel people rest their hearts they had the right thing but sometimes they're what this bowl with is they order beer they sung some of those old unbelieving songs until it killed their faith and robbed their spirits I'm one of the Lord's despised few sure of him saying that junk yeah you've been around long enough where's he meant well I'm not I'm one of the Lord's anointed many good it's a God they met until they felt like everybody despised them and there's afraid to say anything tell folks once in a while about the fact that I was down there in Houston several years ago preaching brother John Osteen who still lives in Houston pastors Church there now at this time was the vanished but between meetings you'd visit all of our meetings and one day he and I after the morning service had gone out to eat and then he said to him said brother thing I'm on a run downtown he said I've been looking at a car down over by a new automobile and he had the salesman name on a little card you see it on the back of the card he had written what he had said he's gonna buy it for cash you see and sell his car and so we went down there the salesman wasn't there there's only one man there brother John said does this car right here this is the one showed him this card that fella looked at that car and he said why we couldn't sell in that car for that well he said that's what the man said well he said I'm the owner of this manager in order and he'd have to run every deal through me and I'd turn it down well brother John said that's all I know just what he gave me and I thought I'd take it you know I got it written right down there and here's his card that fella begin to curse just you know use the Lord's name I said you just you know and when he started as we say down in Texas just plain cus you know mother John Osteen got right up his face you know little short fella you know but just his nose to his almost begin to say business and that fella shut up both Osteen when he shut up said I demand equal time if you're gonna cuss him I'm gonna praise him hallelujah I'm talking about a spirit of boldness hey I'm talking about a spirit of boldness that's a sign that people's full of the Holy Ghost when they're bold I don't mean overbearing that's not being overbearing I'll tell you that devilish people don't mind this you can hear them right out here on the streets in the place of bet this I hear of all the time they don't mind cursing the Lord and use it on it then we shouldn't mind right out loud saying praise God glory to God hallelujah I'm glad I'm saved they're bold for the devil why not be bold for God and then number five we need to loosen or free the air around us from satanic oppression now you see in Ephesians 2:2 Satan is called the Prince of the power of the air remember that Ephesians 2:2 the Prince of the power of the air then over in 2nd Corinthians 4 Paul calls Satan the god of this world and so you know many times you go to pray and the very atmosphere just seems to be dark and as you pray your words just seem to get high any higher than your head and sometimes no higher than the ceiling because you see the Prince of the power of the air the god of this world is at work to oppress the very end the very atmosphere around about us he has a right to do it he's there but I want to tell you how that can be scattered praise God you can scatter that darkness by praise did you hear me I said you can scatter that darkness by praise here in second chronicles the fifth chapter the 13th and 14th verses the Bible says and it came even to pass as the trumpeters and singers were as one to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord and when they lifted up their voice though they weren't quite about it they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and praise the Lord saying for he is good for his mercy endureth forever that then the house was filled with the cloud even the house of the Lord so that the priests could not stand the minister by reason of the cloud what was this cloud not a cloud of Darkness not a cloud of oppression that was all gone for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God hallelujah it was a spirit of praise and a spirit of unity they began to sing and DePriest praise the Lord for His mercy endureth to know there is a new birth and help them to know that they can be born again help them to come to know that they can come to know the Lord Jesus Christ personally and is their own personal Saviour and shouldn't there be those here tonight whom we called backsliders those who like the prodigal son of old left being in father's house but left and went out into the practice of sin and wrongdoing and away from the house of of their father I ask you to speak to their hearts tonight that they like the prodigal of or may say I know what I'll do I'll arise and I'll go home and I'll say father I've sinned against you forgive me dear Heavenly Father I ask in Jesus name that not one single person in this auditorium tonight we'll miss heaven and go to hell but that a every single person under the comes from from above from heaven Heavenly Father I come to you tonight I come in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I come on the behalf of these who stand here they come to you dear father and you said in your word him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast him out so we're thinking because we have your word for it you will not turn on one of them away now will you cast the one of them out but you'll take them in tonight and save them and forgive their sins and wash them in your blood and cleanse them and make them new and fill them with the Holy Ghost and we'll give you the praise and the glory for it all for we ask it in Jesus name and you said in your word when you pray believe that you receive and you shall have and we believe that we receive this very night the spiritual need meant in the hearts and lives of these who stand here in Christ's name Amen amen praise God now put your hand down to open your eyes look at me we have a special room that we've prepared arranged and prepared we call it a prayer room I want you to go there because there you can be prayed for individually and in depth can be talked to counselor with and instructed is necessary and sometimes that is necessary praise God would you turn face that way please see that jumping right there he's a ordained minister the gospel a graduate of our training center follow him right down that aisle to that
