okay we should be live I think to let us know how the audio and video comes through make sure we're both you can hear both the West row you want to say something what's that slackers I've got Joe here from beard and hardware he is linked in the description you should go subscribe to him and we're gonna be overclock in the thirty nine ninety X today so I'm gonna put a hold on what I'm saying here and just make sure everybody can hear us okay check in chat okay that guy is gonna get banded right away the spamming suboptimal okay so let us know if if you can hear us okay everything's fine alright cool okay so if you missed it we did a video where we laughed a CPU you want to show that off Joe oh I should have cleaned a little bit first but it's still pretty enough you see that still dirty but it still looks a lot better than having all that thread rippers nonsense on it what was in the air strip anyway so yeah so this is a it did help you set right like your experience yesterday when you way more consistent actually on this chip I think if we saw it like the center was really just all over the place I mean I don't know they it's kinda hard to say cuz the pot was so much different - yeah yeah yeah we literally lap both the pot and if you can see they're both pretty they're a little scratched up that's the problem so you have to you don't just do this once you're gonna do this for a lifetime if you're gonna bench it so because any time you mount the pot and then take it off there's always the little scratches minor scratches that go on it so you kind of want to just keep going basically yeah peas in it yeah so it helped out and then we've got the 64 core in here now and we didn't know I left the thirty-nine ninety x to answer that question so this is what was the time required to lap everything you ask the CPU wasn't too bad let's see if we had the proper sandpaper right off the bat I mean a lot shorter I don't know what would you think like say maybe our our dude I were to add two hours depending on the CPU or the pot yeah I think the pot took longer than the Allens hypothec way longer so that thing was it's just it's a huge contact plate yeah there's mess I think there's a lot of nickel on there too so yeah so it took half a day to do Mattituck yeah we gather a fine person yeah so let's see no we can't omit pace we do still need pasty did you want to talk about that I think we're so these aren't like they're not flat enough to just completely forgo paste no it's it's not metal adhering the metal there's there's also scratches in it intentionally yeah the scratches are intentional for the pace to adhere to it so we try to limit as the amount of paste but we still need to paste for a liquid nitrogen I don't know that might be some type of video that we do some other time but yeah not not for the liquid nitrogen stuff because this is a nice 64 core which is what it's a thirty nine ninety X which is three thousand nine hundred ninety dollars yes and he and I don't feel like ponying up a four grand for not right now yeah yeah maybe another time it's not now we have it on loan I might be able to text doesn't matter too much if we say who it is but I didn't get a straight go-ahead name who sent it to us so if we maybe have a guest phone call later in the stream or something we can reveal it but another youtuber sent it to us so all right let's uh let's go through the setup I'm gonna fill the Dewar I guess mm-hmm if you want to get started on whatever else needs to go here and I think we should be mostly pretty good to get started no I gotta get my paper towels someone did ask what kind of paste are you using we're using kpx kingpin paste so yeah we're using kingpin you could tell I don't know if he showed down to the blue yeah a little bit in the way yeah it's pretty identifiable so it's pre-pasted I'm going to start this it'll be loud for a second that's why they have mutes diva mute was invented specifically for you yeah I know [Music] alright today we're using a little quieter once it's done getting started so they say about meteors that never happened what's that I said that's what they say about me too but alright so we're just mounting the pot here one of my biggest issues with this whole benching the red Ripper is that chip is so big it gets I don't know there's a lot of core bosses that have like a little opening so if you look on here I heard someone talking about paste the other day on here this is not page this is kneaded eraser so it's kind of funny that some people were actually thinking it's paste but uh but yeah that's actually to keep all the air from underneath there's a bunch of holes underneath is the way there's a socket going down so what I want to do is try to keep all the air out of there because I was getting water in the socket itself so when you get water in the socket itself you all start all sorts of things start happening which it's kind of it's kind of hard to detect because it can act like so many different things and that's where that hose comes loose that's not going anywhere now tennis frozen on there now what you do entice the I want to transfer hers say that's gonna come loose lose anyway no so it's a it's on there it's wrench down there it's good you were wrong we did have someone say someone talented and said so I don't know what this is this was maybe in response to another user but they're saying sorry you telling me that five gigahertz is impossible even with Helen to I guess it'd be I think the answer is probably no but we'll find out yeah I was doing pretty well in the third year the thirty 77039 7013 I never knew what it meant what is the 37 there isn't a 37 7 that's an Intel chip in it almost an Intel chip yeah or might be an Intel chip yeah it's like the old ivy burner yeah so what were you doing on the 32 port Oh yesterday I was doing about over five three maybe five 315 I like I said before wouldn't when I was putting the eraser and stuff like you get a lot of water on here so we ended up taking off the heat spreaders on the memory we're using G skills right now but I'll be using my thermal takes next week I got to go through and VIN all them next week that's my goal someone says that's a short Ellen to pot do you want the pots actually nice this is one of Romans buy it it's hard to come by one of these supposedly you're supposed to be able to buy it but I don't think you can cuz I've been asking for one for like months now and I still haven't got one now it's it's actually a pretty badass pot like the engineering I don't know if injury you can look in here but the engineering behind it is actually pretty stellar I hate to say it that Roman actually did pretty well on it yes he always does and we cut that out is there any way I can cut that somewhere no he doesn't see it you know he's gonna hear about that actually he probably won't given where he is right now that's right he's on an island somewhere literally yeah it's not Alcatraz in there alrighty so a couple cold complaints early super chats now have the VC gesture $5 that's the mood by sinning when I look into your eyes PR C or PR Captain Planet Chester NT 300 oh that is yeah okay my $1 so we probably oh which one PR Captain Planet yeah it's Jake bearded slacker from State Farm about 20 guys that CPU thread-count is as high as my bedsheets thanks but this dream you guys are awesome it is a pretty high thread count on this one trusty travel power Edison 7500 is K good luck guys drive way to eat after taters question right I don't know if we'll have time this time but in the airport there's actually a good place to get taters yeah I'm every time I leave I actually get haters no joke no joke gotta love the top swing get a little chop so what are you doing for a set up right now just tighten up the pot we had a I think another question we can take someone I saw a couple minutes ago said uh how's the vrm for this it's actually not that bad I thought it was worse I did some we did some pre-testing yesterday but he really that was more or less to figure out cold issue some stuff so it wasn't really maxing it out and uh the vrm seem to do pretty well I have this is not the full setup I have a whole cardboard contraption that I've run that's gonna probably make it look really weird but it there is a purpose for it it's basically you know when you're only to water your own Jay was describing you in the stream he was on with me and he said what do you say again I forget the exact redneck engineering yes well hi and I embrace that because it's probably so true on many levels here it was like yeah I think he did more yeah I'm not a hillbilly there's a difference between a redneck and a hill I'm barely redneck this that's what all that boating does the Year voting I need a boat day just be honest to you okay you left Florida and you came here I think it was the wrong choice I'm sorry quote unknown youtuber approach your CPU should be fine famous last words be fine Joe's audio keeps cutting out I don't know if it's on your microphone or he has a microphone he sounds good on our ba that's right a lot oh good call if we could get some confirmation from people if your audio is actually cutting out or not that'd be great I think I was doing that like it was underneath the well now did you meet it while you do okay now we're gonna get a lot of complaints about all the fidgeting noise you know once Joe has done getting his mic back on I guess let us know if it's still cutting out or not normally it's good the beard and normally what cutting out a little different from scratching but that's a good point too yeah but every time it depends on what I feel like people that tell you it like one thing and it's yeah I don't know they go down the rabbit hole yes okay so he's got it back on how is it now is a better me I'll say it's good can you hear me now okay all right well let us know if it becomes a problem they do say you could clip on your beard yeah good run beer yeah then I want to it wouldn't scratch anymore if it's on the top layer you're right here but that's gonna be like ASM hard is that better what do you mean thingies all right let's I think we're good on problem is it gonna hurt though get on I want to fill for the most part what's next what do you need to set up cardboard go alright that's right here behind you yeah you want to explain your contraption you made yesterday you see me you're very proud of it when you figured it out well I wasn't figure it out and then I'm finding some people a little bit I just won in there show it off let me put it on first and then please check that Ellen two hoes that's always cool oh yeah we got one it'll keep adding to the frost too even though we've turned it off so yeah liquid nitrogen in there I think most people on at this point have probably seen our streams where we explain the stuff if there are a lot of questions in chat I can go through it while Joe setting up but three basics of it is it's - I know 96 degrees Celsius and we keep it in that Dewar to make it easily accessible that I can transfer it into the thermoses we'll use as we go and Joe discovered you discovered something yesterday - on the memory side with this or with insulation yeah I'm just having a bunch of issues where the memories getting away so one of the things I need this one why I need to try the hind uh the thermaltake memory it's hynek's versus bead i betide tends to get very I don't know flaky egg if you can say when you start getting wet and it's not all be die but it's just some bi all right should I say most of you guys and if you guys don't know what B dye is it's basically Samsung memory just that I sees what the models are let's see yeah cardboard and duct tape the only thing missing the only missing stream for classic trilogy of the yeah Heidi come on all you need how do I know if my CPU is stable when overclocked in it you want to take that one thank you potato right if it rides no it depends on the benchmark yeah there it is if you're going for like daily OC more like not a not competitive then you want to validate on more applications if its competitive oh so you really only need to make sure it's stable on the application you're right whatever adventure going for but for daily I see a lot of people used to run prime I did - they'd run prime95 overnight or something that i don't really do that anymore I would uh I would say said I love ya I'm it's like it's also a little on the it doesn't work properly on some architectures and then it's a little on the abusive side like unrealistically abusive yeah so I would probably set up like a blender and ER just set the samples really high or something or the resolution really high and let it read rendering it also depends on what you're doing though yeah so like if you're just doing like editing or stuff yeah I would just bump it up a little at a time so like maybe every day or two just bump it up a little bit for daily and keep that thing just go through and go through and go through yeah and the other thing too with that is that uh I mean if you're gaming then I mean just play some games maybe not ranked masters or something see if it crashes during those games uh-huh if you're doing video editing you know pull up some project you already know about it set it to render or something for a couple hours just set the resolution high whatever and see if it's really good trick is the chicken o'clock it's a chicken o'clock yeah got a quote tin on that because that I I would say that's more pins were than mine that is a official tin word that's a good ten word though yeah that's a good walk very 10 word you know you used to tell me that all the time when we used to go to Computex yes why are you chicken clucking all the time that's not even close as ax I'd yeah I feel like I haven't seen tin in forever so I don't even remember how to do his accent I don't know what that was it was at least entertaining that's like how Roman will sound when he's old they think the next time like that now do you mean isn't he old now Nicole heard me right he's Roman he's got to be in his 70s well this was a very inefficient transfer because news about there we have almost nothing in there we get it we do it yeah finish your setup and I'm already done I'm ready to go again I need my liquid nitrogen Steve hurry all right let's get one of these filled because the so let me explain this on the transfer side by safety glass an efficient transfer so the Dewar we I guess we used almost all this yesterday yeah yeah so it was almost empty going from empty to fill in it you have a lot of loss in the transfer because you're talking about a Dewar that's like room temperature yeah and we're putting something out that's minus 196 so there's a lot of evaporation that's what all that smoke is about the Dewar when it's being filled and it just means it needs to be usually I'd like to fill it up as I go like not let the tank it's so dry yeah well yeah we wanted to let it get dry for stream but okay yeah it's mostly because of them so your fault that we got the virus yours father because we always want to make sure that we show you all that goodness it's fun yeah it's always fun to transfer all right I don't know I guess we can just start yeah are you ready I think we want to definitely start with the base lines everyone knows the low end of the scale before the OCS so either maybe a low frequency all core or a stock run uh do you want to go over some settings first yeah yeah I guess so I definitely want to do a stock run okay there you go good you want to do a stock room ah yeah I mean you can leave memory alone but just the more but uh I'm gonna make sure I mention this to anyone if you buy a pickup of a mouse pad during the stream there on stored I cameras excist on that they should be the first to listed items right now you pick up a mouse pad black and blue or white and blue then Joe and I will sign it yeah the mouth pads are back where is that I was forget with one fitting what is this huh what are you doing over here okay you just it's like when Joe comes places it's just stuff expands around him a balance it you got too much hair bro see what yeah all right no ZZ Top now over talking dude I love ZZ Top man that was my favorite so set the fault we're gonna go right to the hole Steve what's be lame yeah I'll get a notepad file going to you so we're gonna log the temperature and house okay so I'm gonna watch chat for a minute we have about 6,000 viewers I know a lot of you have definitely seen these streams before but I'd like to get a gauge if you have no idea what we're doing or you want an explanation of the basics of like what the liquid nitrogen's purpose is what kind of temperatures we're on something like that let me know in chat I guess just give us like a No for I don't need an explanation yes for I would like an explanation of the basics and that'll help me figure out how you know I'm waiting for Chad to just boil up right now also there's a there's a trend we have where when something goes wrong with an overclock chap blows up with F just yeah all the way to failed that's always funny cuz I can look at the stream log later where it shows each at spurt like second it's kind of a funny metric but I just don't in there you'll see it explode tins in there saw him hiding where is he exdeath joe at his best because i'm pretty i think that's a compliment and ever know coming from pain there so that's like her we're like fifty whitout we have a lot more nose on the SS okay yes for time stuff okay let's do that one thank you guys well explain it as we have downtime in between the overclocks later but so he's getting started we're gonna do a stock run to get a baseline for scoring we're using Cinnabon char 20 today stock and then I'm gonna log all the numbers as we go so oh you know what though there might be well I guess that might be 39 70 X so this is a nice check right yeah but it basically is it's basically well I know what the 39 70 X they had the issue where it was like oh I guess think 100 megahertz lower oh no this one's about the same as a retail good so yeah you can know that have sort for now the apps are for later what o'clock else these you should just said that cuz you know that was gonna do that for anyway could you up the bitrate on the field I mean not they say that to me all the time we're at 10 I could get gonna tactically go higher but I keep it here dozens pretty good yeah so all right let's do okay I was talking about logging scores so basically I'm gonna log everything that way we can recap it later we'll have a stream recap once this is all done and then we'll also do use some of this data for the review later Patrick has to do a lot of testing on this once we're done here and that's right you can think of me as a co-driver for today Joe is gonna do the real work by hand let's go over time I can start the temperature thing here so for temperatures right now if we get a shot of the thermocouple reader you should be able to see that okay I'll go over some of the tools so Joe is using his thermocouple reader we're plugged into I think just a that's a k-type thermocouple they're accurate to actually I might be no that's okay so this one is one of the this is one of the better case it's fairly it goes down to a low temperature I bought it specifically for this and we're currently at 27 degrees Celsius which is considered hot obviously compared to what we're gonna be out later but you're just idle on desktop right now yeah I'm well I have stopped clocks so basically $35.99 there you go it's a little bit for you you could I just wanted to show this is basically stock memory a stock on retail okay I just basically hit yeah wrote optimize sure let's get a baseline without them yeah so I'll do a log for temp you would do 120 yeah let's do our 20 today there's score temp what else do we want voltage and frequency obviously I'll check chat in a sec like making a log file right now frequency week or mem I guess I'll make a column for them yeah cuz we're gonna up to them one of the weird issues it seems to be on this chip as you the colder you get the less you can clock your memory yes so have you have you had issues with cold boot or calm crashing luck where are you right because so the 3939 50 X for a while I was I was until you told me I was having trouble getting below - mind you yeah then you told me it's enough clock issue so I dropped that and then I could get done so that minus 150 or so weird was that was that third more proper that was yeah yeah the bigger platforms a little bit different to would be a PCIe so like I would I had a issue where at like minus 70 yeah I couldn't get past minus 70 and then I said all the PC I used to Gen 1 what that means is that these these are a little rougher cold like fire strike and yeah yeah alright so what that means is that you can't run gen 3 PCIe because otherwise you can only been [ __ ] like minus 70 I mean it's probably probably decent just not and it's chip dependent too so this just because this chip did that doesn't mean it doesn't mean another chip Allah will do that so let's get happens to be at my chip well that's uh let's give some perspective on scores - Oh got a mousepad can't wait to see who signs it both of us well so scores do you remember where you were for the 3970 yesterday and I want frequency I want to say four or five was at 17 something all right hold on really talking about we talk about thirty nine seventy where we use over 39 72 I think I've had five three thank you okay Joe doesn't neither no trust me women when you have emergency when that thing shooting all over you learn how to get around that real quick so 3970 scoring where um I forget five three five or something like that I was about on with 22,000 23,000 something like that almost 23,000 okay I was like 22,000 or something like that and that was with the higher higher o'clock so I wrote your score down yeah like five three I actually have it saved here if you want to do that you're running on all 64 cores yep make sure oh here you go why even do this because you can't keep it at that temperature when you run it during the day is it just to try and get it to work at the coldest temperature so technically right now and we're at normal temperatures yeah I'm just doing it to get the pot yeah so later on the question it's I mean we I kind of make the analogy to cars a lot where it's like because it's something everyone understands no it's the same goes over night would you buy like a race car if you're not gonna drive it on the racetrack every day why would you buy a race car if you have a speed limit of 60 or 45 it's cuz you can take it to a track or you can yeah speed up why would you want to buy like a GTR or that there's something to take to the track right and a lot of people might answer that and say I wouldn't want to buy it and that's fine but the whole point is just one is fun and to this is actually really useful people tin made this comet in one of our videos of I think it was like extreme overclockers a overclockers respond to o mean questions yeah to mean comments comments so Tim made the point that I agree with which is it does help with either RMD on his side or on my side with reviews so we've done a lot of videos on cold scale where we show you how does precision abuse to respond to temperature change where we'll bring it from 80 degrees Celsius to minus eighty degrees Celsius and yeah and then just make sure that was a nun and haha - alias you know right I can't say that we get t monetized yeah don't do that it's not even a swear word its it's related to a recent news video we did that was to monetize - so yeah Alan's no idea what you're talking about it's good he's figuring out how the frequency response the temperature now otherwise it's fun and it's just for competition okay so we got I logged our score everything's Auto it's the thayer you're better than everybody else that's really what it is that's a lot of it - yeah okay let's let's get started Joe it's dusim all right I'm gonna go back into the BIOS and get away from being stock let me get you that's no fun another thermos why keep anything stock when you can get pre-performance I don't get it I don't get it welcome Barney's there get your partner qui gonn what'd you say Donna welcome barking Barkley sorry I usually a youtuber okay well yeah but you know how people like you uh-oh people were saying it well yeah I don't know if you're like s in here they like to mess with me I minded probably uh nervous - he isn't here oh yeah they're our clocks my computer by 20 megahertz I'm pretty happy with that yeah we need a rip she in 20 2010 saying that tens of that well ten come to the studio and we can do a head-to-head I'll get Joe here Joe can take take this table obviously because you just everything you do expands into taking all the space available and then tin can set up here and we'll film a head-to-head Joe a chicken clucking competition I think you can probably out chicken o'clock ten I don't know he's a pretty good chicken [ __ ] you think so yeah how do you think I came up with the term he's some of those times benching would have been competition I don't think Tendo hasn't knows how to use AMD CPUs though probably not I don't know if he can do it he is a self-described Intel fanboy Intel fan but it's very sad Barclays is here yes yeah 20 maegor's man 20 megahertz what are you doing for your first clock you doing all core four or what oh I forgot one thing so yeah you gonna do all four okay four gigahertz yeah I'm basically booting up at 4 gigahertz but I forgot to set the yelling to voltage okay there's two settings on the msi board this is a default bios that we downloaded right off the internet it's the newest files for this board we're using the the TRX 40 Creator by Emma yeah you'll see right here dandruff we can show tin says let's get kingpin here too good black I think bentonite braid to fly I'd love to but it it'd be hard to convince him to fly oh yeah I always tell them that like when you're gonna come for a visit yeah so uh these are two voltages so if you're gonna do it on two on the MSI create aboard these two need to be enabled you also need to check out your voltages so we're doing 4,200 I should actually lower this what's nice about TRX 40 is like the memory controller is actually pretty good but I can do like 4200 4,300 CL 14 like very very easy on quad-channel the problem is is when you start getting into the colder temps the memory controller doesn't really like the high clocks and starts kind of freaking out will give us a little bit of a cold issue so what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna have it down to about 3800 it should be good enough we have the if' clock down at 1333 the reason for that it again is because of the if' this one has an if' cold bug so basically if you go over that when you're going in lowering the temperature it basically will you won't get it enough temp out of its your jobs all right a 1333 on this one yeah this is what I've been running time yeah for infinity fabric you run it for like 14 67 on the smaller platform amp or that about 1467 or so it depends on the chip it's a very chip dependent so you might find a chip that does it I like being a buyer but yeah I was gonna say have you had any that can run close to 1800 under Alan to temp so now okay I still have to check I haven't done the 3950 X so I have a brand new chip waiting for me at home yeah so I'm gonna be doing totally fun yeah I think that's the one we're gonna do a lap job on cuz we haven't net we've done all this like long I guess this is technically I am doing YouTube won't hit us for that one then that phrase not at all they will hit us for the other one that I was I have no idea yeah see you always said it not me well it's better that you don't know it I know what it is or maybe it's better that you do know it yeah it's better I do know it because I would probably say it that's how it works man will you have a chat trying to guess what we talk you know happy ah you're not gonna know cuz I'm not gonna tell you he might though you know the Ellen's barnacle is barnacle II says you know the Alan two clocks are better when you use Amazon cardboard hey awesome is here right that's right that new egg cardboard that's the coolest thing that new eggs made in a long time that's pretty sure I'm not a fan see here's a good one for you Joe how do you know what is a good amount of Alan to you that I am assuming to pour into the pot oh you did temperature reaction so Andrew come down here real quick so if you look at the postcode can you even see the postcode I don't know popular it says nineteen on there that said temperature from the CPU this is the temperature here when you're pouring I know on to you try to analyze both this will go to zero zero and then all of a sudden you can't go up by ten so that's why we go by temp on here you'll see as I get colder and colder like you can judge it it's mostly from experience of how much I want to I poke put in it I try not to over pour it too much because then it goes out and goes all over one of the issues that goes on that's why I have the cardboard there right the cardboard there is to try to block the vapor as much as possible and to concentrate the fan to basically blow out and it's so no condensation build-up because yeah vapor basically causes a lot of god causes a lot of problems it'll get onto the board too if your board is Joe's got it on top of a foam blocks and we're good there but they can get under the board and you'll just have a big icicle form on the backside of the socket which is kind of funny but also causes a lot of issues when it's ice you're in good shape because it's not it's not water not water once the problem is once you get to a point where maybe you you crash BSOD cold bug whatever now you have to heat up the pot to get it to boot potentially and or you just have a long downtime and then I start smelting you know what I might do so this is benchmate which you're using to actually launch the applications as well well bench me it's gotta been benchmade orgs they have all these ones right here our package didn't inside okay so it's like if you want to get into benching basically just go to benchmate org you can download pretty much it's one in file there's a big and a small this is the big one I think so it gives you all the programs you need to overclock so you can pretty much match up against us if you want to yeah what it's doing is it's basically do making sure that your bench is actually valid so like it kind of takes off that you trying to make sure that all your stuff is good it's kind of doing a little bit for theirs so there's some interesting bugs that it trips up a lot of people to timer bugs like what does it call it time mosquitoes that was it's a timer skew it's when that the system time is slower than normal and basically it will it will actually cause the score to it the system is kind of stupid when it comes in say it thinks it's real time so it's actually the bench takes a shorter amount of time so it actually skews the score so it increases the scores so people would actually cheat by trying to do these bugs and sometimes it not vertically - yeah yeah not just like not to say everybody's a cheater but I mean you had to have cheaters which just absolutely blows my mind but like it's also unintentional - so like we you sometimes you just can't tell you don't know so this program pretty much takes takes the care of that and it's it's really good in a lot of the benches support it now and I think it's just going to grow more whereas in the video we saw this in the early early days of rising so as n1 let's go ahead and run that I guess when you're ready well this is at 4 gigahertz now memories at 3,800 we're doing 14 14 14 4289 1p okay 3,800 and then he said 14 14 14 42:49 139 once he got it yeah though this what's your V Corps I like that I just put in one five one five okay I'll know that we're at four gig yeah I probably there's a there's a weird issue so MSI has this utility which I used to change the multi in the OS for some reason with the 64 core not the 32 core every I it's a little weird sometimes it works too sometimes it doesn't so bear with me on that part you'll see here like sometimes I can only change I can't change I changed it multi once and I don't know it's kind of weird we'll start off with this dough I'll just do a four gig run what temperature you're gonna try to stick to for pot temperature I'm just probably around zero FS is just that I'm gonna make sure everything's weird and so I was saying with Zen one that timer skis got a lot of people where they thought we I saw a lot of comets I remember risin one it was really hard to hit over 4.0 and you had a lot of not with melons you obviously if it was there and wasn't that great on ellentube yeah so a lot of people were saying why are we here is only doing 394 oh I can do four point five gigahertz and get this cinnamon score and there were all kinds of reporting bugs and software where it just wasn't accurate yes something like yeah that was the thing that found that kind of bothered me about what name AMD released the chip it was like they scores were getting put out but it was like there's no valid yeah validity or whatever there's no validation yeah there's no validation so like there's a reason why we have validation and that everybody should use them if they wanted out scores because it's pretty easy on these platforms I know for instance like the 13 it was it what's the first stream we did for AMD was the 2700 I think it was the 27 yeah I'm the 2700 what I realized is that if you change the moat like if you change the B clock even just a little bit in the OS you invalidate all your scores because the timer it basically does a natural timer skew on the board so in basically all the scores would be invalidated so it kind of it's stunk for AMD trying to show exactly what it can do against a Intel you know we've talked about this one barnacle ease I wonder if anyone has ever actually grabbed the thermos volunteer and took a swing from I think it was just cold water well don't do that so score was 29 537 let me get us a quick you were at 400 all for for this right yeah that was poor gig so I'll do a quick percent difference I mean let's take a power number two just so people people always work that so did you check out the power number I will swear we have Plus that's my trade that math right are you doing over there I'm fell off your back try not to break your stuff it's about 19% increase already and I'll show off a joke I run this just keep that zero the dead six is fine now just run it okay well it's got a reading down here can you see that okay Andrew yeah that's at minus six is fine I can kick it off I try and go ahead and run that this is a current yeah no we got a cable on a fan there you go so there's a current clamp and we're currently clamped to the 12-volt EPS only he's already she was 84 - yeah it's because of the higher voltage yeah yeah so that was about 85 apps and water like a thousand watt overthought it's getting high yeah we're at ten twenty yeah so did I say yes that's I feel like we're higher wattage already vanish are you running it's because of higher voltage okay no the reason why I put a higher voltage just to make it easy well yeah it's kind of hard for me to in the utility you'll see if I go in here I didn't get an updated version obviously because we barely got to be able to test the 64 so if I said the 64 over here you'll see how it says poor gig when it changes the 4100 isn't that when I know it it's working but I can only do it once it seems and then I got a sometimes it takes a while yeah so what I think I'm gonna yeah see how it went to 4100 so now it's 4,100 so we're at 4.1 let's go back it's hard to see this angle but uh yeah well in the our twenty again and you're ready yeah I just get some you change anything for stuff for no for one for one okay and sometimes it will be lower to there it's our twenty when you run it you have to run it a couple times to get uh yeah so if you see the score drop don't be surprised you might just need to run it a second time yeah or a third oh yeah it does yesterday I've noticed it a lot on the other one again no it was improvement 3000 ad I think we were just had cold issues yesterday when I was going on maybe yeah cuz right now it's scoring higher at forty one that it was this and you're only minus 0.5 right now ma'am has not changed for this just so it this is all the same 3800 this is a okay I'm not changing I'm gonna keep that men because technically I didn't change I didn't have that from the start and supposedly when you get colder and colder and go into like the minus 140 range yeah mmm gets very finicky so for the stream I wanted I'm gonna keep it lower so that way it's uh that way we don't run into issues and I'm troubleshooting in the old stream so but yeah I think we should be four hundred thirty eight hundred chipset fan not moving yeah well let me go on with fifty also also keep in mind that so this kind of spreads the vapors really cold too and even though it's done a lot here to get the vapor away from the board you're still gonna have some creep through the traces and some spill oh yeah one of the big issues is pretty much memory I've been fighting memory the whole time benching you'll see on some of my streams basically where we keep on having cold issues and stuff and it took me a little bit how to figure it out tin says I don't know if he's answering someone's question maybe what do you say he said putty or clay would not work it's quite bad on protecting hardware I think I don't know if someone answered ten what do you think about a kneadable eraser I don't know if he thinks if that's different than putty to him or not tell Joe to quit chicken clocking at for what I can always I always expected okay so where that was late does okay this guy the flu cast mean old after activation alright so first of all I know how to use the tools that I have here and that one is off by about - it's your 0.5 amps I didn't zero it out because we're at 85 amps so who cares I'm a primary to watch it doesn't matter there's a price we're over a thousand all right so I'm gonna do a run at 42 your are you gonna try to keep check it out yeah we're gonna go a little bit more colder I love that you know I've noticed every stream that we have he's always chicken ten rookie mistake no fans around the system that's a rookie mistake Tim there's we've hidden two fans below it but there you're correct there's not one over it technically there's actually two fans underneath that are blowing everything out of here there's another fan that goes but tries to blow out the vapor we do also we do also have concerns of like noise with the stream that's the biggest problem Jen doesn't know that he's all about it he for him over from like the most electrical engineer engineer in the industry 30-pin don't count yeah for kidding I love you buddy dear forty now and what's your attempt you're still minus point zero so zero zero V Corps still one five you know stir dropping a sport a bit here but yeah I might be working for three I think I'm gonna start going cold air stopped chicken clucking that sounds good usually we we end up go trying to go click real quick but what I found for streams is they doing slow and slow and my role was pretty good yeah it's getting lower though let's just start going colder look at the size of those wires yeah so the this is an EVGA 1600 watt tee - I've got it linked in the description as well oh there you go Andrew just livin and it says whoever is cameraman at respect yeah so this is a 1600 watt C - it's really good for I've used it for a lot of these xoc streams we've never really had issues with it you'll see a fans not spinning right now I don't think you push did this hard not this hard yeah this is new for it actually no you might have what did you do the oh the KP card we not even is he on Zeon was was over this yeah that's good point I had two power supplies for that though there's two of these anyway have you test the new thermo siphon no not yet I have the problem like this so while you're figuring that out Joe I'm gonna take some super chats in a second but this one's you're good Jerry this is not a super chat but Berkeley says did you guys freeze all the unnecessary services under the service Control Manager and give Cinebench real-time threat priority what's nice about that I'll have to show you in a second but you can actually do that in benchmate so it actually starts it up and oh really yeah it's pretty cool that is cool yeah this is not totally shook down it's more of it just a demo of us cuz you run into a bunch of shoes sometimes if we strip too much yeah you want to trip just enough yeah you get the amount as highest yeah we're talking about the same thing right no no no wrong thing okay well depending let's say we had some super chats so oh I like this one that's our body I changed his avatar yeah it's always good to see you do you ever get it burns when that protocol yeah no I don't think he comes to my channel that really likes you I didn't like me too much apparently it burns when the Internet Protocol it burns when I pee dude I was a cute actually now that I think that I'm very disappointed that he does not come to my channel yeah he's messed up you can't get one stream without saying my name yeah just about got it right duh-doy $1.99 you better get 5 5 gigahertz someone got that earlier yeah 5 5 probably not yeah we're also yeah there's a couple of things it's funny cuz when I do these streams that people would be like well I saw a 49 on this but there's many factors in this number one you have the border number two the chip the bench application to you can valor 3 is actually I think number one is the bench listen later let's restart that order yeah it bench one bench will might run 5 5 and if you try to run in another bench might run 5 2 you can also validate in cpu-z you yeah I cpu-z validation to me I mean really I think I'm gonna end up having to do a stream on cpu-z validation to really show what cpu it like how people do it because it's kind of ridiculous if you saw exactly how it works you probably you you would under you would feel how I think all they do is usually turn it off and use it you basically click in the slow mode the third the fourth thing to on your list let's do a video is that where we're doing a stream and so it's a little bit different than if you're just trying to hit a high score and shut down yeah yeah you gotta understand that a lot of times when you're benching like I usually I would actually take this all the way down cold real quick and go right to the point but yeah first stream we kinda want to show you guys that explain how it works and explain and make it look pretty yeah not really about records but whereas pre stream what happens is regarding you or make it look pretty point this entire studio is just filled with stuff everywhere beautiful it's just like you did it you walk it's like Allen to thermoses you've got bits and pieces of motherboards you have CPU soldering stations orientation we had some fun yesterday mr. would have every module don't need all the capacitors the next time they separated Daniel Monsanto says and let it get colder I guess it doesn't make sense to laser engrave the 3970 x to call it beard a toast well I would kind of like you though like AMD want to make me a processor just something this guy you're 39 70 X and I'm sure he'll a is there any of it oh if you can do it I know actually I think we're one of those I'm sure there's a lot of people in chat who would like to do that yeah then I'll never get it back I'm not stupid Matthew can times $20 thank you love the live stream overclocking keep up the good work we are trying what are you running right now 4 to 5 I was just trying to get some temps down John cuz you know if I find if you stay between like 0 and minus 50 yeah all you do is create water everywhere yes don't try and write it down colder yeah so we're at right are you gonna stick to minus 54 it lower whoa there we go oh so uh would uh stick in the minus 50 on this one barnacle ease yeah so if you look right here there's a what's cool and you know for his class that breeze quite okay that's like what what so basically if you want to run it in real time so I'm some benches will like hi someone like real time a lot of times I don't set real time when we're doing like a demo on this bench because a lot of the times the real time you won't see anything and all the senators gorgeous pops up so it kind of it doesn't look as fun as it should I mean I'll set it to real time and we'll see what it see what it does but and also we've may limit your clocks to so you might be able to do real time lower than what you would do without it no that one's not that bad I guess it's mostly our 15 then different CPUs to my dad a bit differently well I think it are 15 that's very low part of my French oh it's okay we can say that a few times it's awesome I'll say the other thing that I almost said again yeah what was that I forgot me too but I didn't email to YouTube and they're like that's a controversial subject ok cool all the news agencies seem to have ads but whatever kind of walk it off today well technically you're a news platform so you should be able to do that that's true yeah you should tell that like I'll do some womp no I don't think I will yeah just walk away yes hi yeah sorry with your head down 36:21 seems a bit low compared to the others no so basically the last three runs well it was low and then a little bit higher than a little bit higher it does that with a Ben you saw it one five bolts yep one five same mange much when I change though if it's four five foot 3,800 yeah mm same I'm not gonna change the minutes so if he just dropped in we're running memory right now you've got it 3100 14 14 14 4289 I'm gonna take it off the real time okay power we were at about 1000 watts a bit ago when I jacked my one sorry 1026 Watts because I didn't zero out the meter so is not 1028 1026 that was a true thing I'm if they had the button not really liked it so I'm gonna change us back do hi you think I add on these benches I actually tend to do more high than than real time so you can play around usually I recommend if people are gonna do benching and stuff they might as would like check each one yeah and there's some interesting stuff to wear so for reviews sometimes we want to run logging applications on real time or high priority yeah because if you talk too long every interval one sec one millisecond starts affected all started skipping because if it's and if it's not a real time you'll end up with every the potentially couple seconds much better almost 30 mm all right now that's it yeah yeah that's nervous yeah I'm so you say 30 yeah the 3970 that I'm like yeah what that's record yeah yeah as long as you forget about half of the course who cares about the other code you know what the can chat helped me out with finding that's really quick what's tonight anyone go find the current record on our 2008 probably like five five Shiley what kind of hardware bot or there better places to look no it's only place to look okay HW box under new ownership so that's right I don't mind saying a little time hey hubby but Oh I don't think we can say who yet I'm not sure I fully supported though I'll be it we have a poster any scores that we get on that bring giggles just to support the new owner yeah it'd be nice of that new owner supported you sometimes yeah I'm totally agree yeah yeah maybe they'll get some shipping materials so it's under new ownership Hwy that org yeah I guess go check the scores for me please if someone doesn't mind someone saying you need 36,000 I don't know if that's the score the current high score or not no there's probably other ones on there you got to understand - it's like so I'm only at minus 50 I'm gonna start pulling down scores that at four or five my mind might actually be a little bit lower because the if' clock and the memory clocks are lower 39 two five one eight two the current high score I feel like it takes forever to bring these chip down okay that's good to know I will write that down thank you chat appreciate it so current score 39 I won eight I wish this stuff overs work better though one thing that's driving me a little bit nothing so while you're getting that running uh can you explicit do super chats to but this is normal chat glacier 9 can you please explain how and why cold bugs occur why do some architectures not care and others are finicky it's a good question I don't I don't know that I can give a great tactic that's one of the problems cuz Intel's not gonna tell me and Andy's not gonna tell me and they might not know either sometimes but I can give I guess how and why we can give some examples maybe without the specific here's why but one of the how does it occur on Andy platforms so risin am four or this one one of the house is will get cold bugs if you have infinity fabrics that's something you run it on normal desktop well I don't think they're initially testing that I their main goal is to have is lock so high when it's cold you know what I mean that's not the highest priority because they're not gonna be using this on that yeah yeah so it's kind of hard to say most people say on these chips is the i/o so that is causing the bug but hard to say yeah so the problem is is Intel named II really don't give us too much info on it and sometimes it's not even because it's like they're trying to be secretive it's because it's hard to get to the people who might actually know ya the engineered level I don't know a lot of them they might not even know because they don't test it that way yeah and I don't know that an architect or an engineer would always be able to tell you they might just be like oh really that happens yeah that's interesting yeah it's one of those uncharted territories pretty much I mean Intel has a nice that's right he's uh he does some really really really good stuff they've got I'm it at AMD he's really good to he's done the mainstream desktop stuff nice principled validation engineer or something like that principle validation yeah something like that I'll type title I think all right so you guys might might have saw that I rebooted sometimes it freezes when you go in cold totally haven't been able to figure out what is causing those but as soon as I just keep on pulling downward it doesn't really matter so it seems to like if you freeze too quickly it starts causing issues where I have to remove it was the same way on my 39 70 X so pretty much the same we have a complaint Oh Berkeley he says he's heading out see you burning Cleese and then we've got a latest lega let's see question on what's the current frequency you have four five four five yeah I have a little issue with the MFI utility doesn't let me does your high scores still 32 986 have you gone up from 30 no no okay no it froze because I was getting colder we're at minus 90 now okay do you know where this one freaks out on temperature this chip I was a little weird I don't know I couldn't really tell last night because it was uh we had some memory issues so it was really weird around minus 120 a lot of the times you'll do a bunch of sessions just to try to figure out how cold you can run it yeah and then once you start to figure out the chip you got to delve into how to get more performance so like if I were to have this chip at at my house I would take it and then I would go and try to sing I figured someone says your mic is off can you pull that out of your pocket go out there No just to make sure it's on oh yeah I wonder if I muted oh okay you have Joe looks the other way it'll be a little quieter yeah kind of happen the problem with Joe is this getting a mic on him and this is the easiest it would have to be like like in the middle of the stomach to be in the Senate because a beard comes down too low bro I have a picture problems to you guys because if you try to squeeze it down nothing like oh you can't like crop your head like video and CES badge and stuff ya know in 20 my license like you you my license looks like this like you can't tell how big the beard is it's kind of funny alright so we're at 31 we're at 46 now I remember with Cinebench you got to run several times all right sixty-four core at 46 oh my did anybody look at the forehead microphone just tape it to his forehead I don't know if that would work haha you're talking down a lot too got that extra height I think yeah I'm gonna move the mic over here cuz you guys are complaining too much I've got mine on this side station be okay come to beers we've done that we started like that I literally just did yeah alright so we're running four or six nice so what was this cool I think you were previously 32 986 at least that's a little bit more consistent though cuz the consistency was kind of off that's the problem with this bench you've got a fall one right here when you need it thank you sir JW dink Eason says is it a blank are you not allowed to say blank yes it's blank that's what it is there you go let me do some super chatter III 387 oh you got it okay nice I'm gonna take that that was for 633 387 and - what 98 yeah but mine is under 4.6 1.5 volts yep although every other they've everything's the same all right I'm only changing small small things got it okay cool left on my tray on the bench this thing this one once so every chip is different so like you could say oh well my chip does this well that's good for you because my chip that's different that's just how it is let me give some perspective - for those of you might have joined late full stock everything load optimized defaults and motherboard was 24,000 643 so if you're like I don't really whatever those numbers I'm really be anything to me that is 100% fair you could do a simple you just do a percent difference and that can kind of show you some scale Cinebench is not quite linear but pretty close to an application like blender we prefer blender for reviews it runs longer it's easier to look at things like turbo duration but for purposes of this we're not trying to run a 10 minute long test each time looking at power not yeah I can't I guarantee is probably like I think it's there you go almost 34,000 uh 34 well it's 33 879 33 8 so 9 same set in so I'll just delete this one that hits 7 9 okay power yeah so you took down you want to keep it well I just wanted to see the score difference okay 33 387 yeah I usually mark every time I change what the score is or like what the highest score okay I will have to take both of them let's get on this sieve right so we're at 47 now we're gonna go to 4 8 oh you were out for seven for that yeah okay the other one for 6 yeah I kept both of them yeah let's check power - when you click run on that we can do a power read so we're current it's just a current clamp it's gonna be off by minus 0.5 and this is also directly on the CPU so we're taking it in this pee-yew itself so not the whole system usually and when I do it at my house yeah guy I just pulled it from the wall as long as it's you use the same one every time it's fine well usually I want to see like how much it's your awesome you gotta watch out yeah I was gonna say you gotta watch out for the power supply plus for this one I didn't really care because you're running I mean I know this is a very nice super high-end video card sorry cheap it's just I don't think you can get him overlay that's not super high-end no even though it looks like a fish well they're egg it it's like a Gallic sting I don't know they always make them like that so I got one for free and I just use it all the time multiply that by its well yeah he's a little bit lower so we were at a 1056 Watts through that 1036 yeah roughly haha I'm kicking blocking this one's a good question so is this extreme cooling just to combat the heat or is it to also increase the conductivity internally in the CPU it's smooth it's to combat the heat primarily and also you do have a bit of a benefit on reducing leakage as you bring down the temperature too so you got some power some voltage things oh did I had 90 you were almost at 90 ABS yeah so yeah mostly for bringing down the time between massive right there 34 thousand 663 34 663 as it says that for 8 and minus 100 yeah it's minus 108 for 800 open it up there's another benefit to with running cold which is yeah that was for 8 okay so though before I give me more toward the court deltas are something to keep an eye out on where I really wish we lapped this one yeah quarter court deltas are something to keep an eye out on where you might have some cores that run we've seen this too on our 99 80 that run 20 30 degrees oh yeah lower them to hotter cores well you could imagine there's a 64 cores in that [ __ ] man yeah so it's kind of crazy and so chillin it in any form is beneficial because your top clock is gonna be limited by that hottest core you'll start throttling on that one yeah so well there's 64 of them I still can't believe that we have a 64 for mainstream 128 thread you say mainstream yeah this is kind of mainstream yeah like you can actually overclock it you know yeah yeah yeah not like some mocked on Xeon right yeah Oh kick it off again might be getting funky cuz we're going a little bit colder on Thames they're very cold the cold buggy kind of weird memory controller effects the cold quite a bit I think it probably has something to do with the i/o let's see if are you gonna I'm gonna see Abel in this gym I don't think oh I want to see if our chip supplier wants to say hi on camera and a good chip supplier the person who sends it to us that's [ __ ] it just got really quiet in here yeah I'm texting it's very demanding hey watch it so I saw a question what happens if you put liquid nitrogen yeah yeah so biggest thing with that is don't chop your hand yeah I had a lady do this yeah I'm so when I was at Computex it freaked me out because I've never had someone so much did she got hurt well she went like this basically I always tell people yeah just put your head on she just went like this and she said it will it will actually burn you like but it's not gonna be that bad it but for a girl I was like you know fake fries yeah it's trying to be nice like no no don't do that like smacking her hand for me to know terrible yeah yeah so it'll spill off of you don't let it soak and cup in your hand would count as that don't let it soak and then you need good ventilation which we have a big space a lot of ventilation because otherwise narcosis can be a problem but yeah that's one basically the liquid nitrogen and the phase change itself takes out all the oxygen yeah so as long as you can do a torch where's their safety we have no safety so this is our safety mechanism there's no that's that's actually Steve because he likes to turn this thing off I would like you see quick you have this little button right here that you turn and that's what goes on and then then it blows so we have oxygen because you can make fire and what drives me nuts as Steve always turns this little section off like mine stays always on yeah there's a little lock thing that's how it works so stop messing with it Steve well Joe I figure if if there's anything we can do to appease caffeine safety captain same things gonna be the least of it maybe we should make it captain safety like it said a captain over thought that sounds like the lamest it was just a thought next time captain safety captain safety captain safety has arrived well you know this is the one year anniversary know that your tires are almost due to be replaced she's been saved my captain safety that sounds really bad actually yeah okay it almost feels like one of those centers Saturday morning cartoon commercials like Geico horsemen one like years ago we're having some funky issues what's going on here so I'm saying the CEO at Lovett canary and the CEO of snowflake the cat would love a canary in the coal mine so why don't you I guess get that sort of stable where you want I'll take a couple these yeah go for it we have let's see here we stopped here Lola brick $2.00 why not that's a meme question just say I have a serious question why not liquid metal though yeah so I'm actually going to answer that Cassidy I know this British game but yeah so has kind of an inverse relationship to other your thermal interfaces where as you bring it down colder and colder or like sub-zero especially it becomes last thermally and the hotter it is the better it will do and so liquid metal and this application either this person was joking but it's kind of crazy though because like and not many people have really tested how things get really affected extreme cold yeah like a lot of things change properties like it's kind of weird and like that's why it's been so hard over the years when I first started benching they had a certain amount of pace now you have like KP got thermal grizzly those are like the two main ones that we use yeah the [ __ ] before there wasn't really that much but like we would try to have like fine certain pace since that don't don't cracker yeah they don't crack like it would it and for a long time nobody really had anything decent there was actually a big problem in OC world for like old records that's white like us a lot of older records get beaten mm-hmm yeah because the whole dynamic has changed right yeah but yeah like even I do some do that I used to put glue on his stuff and then like would freeze and like yeah there's it's just amazing how properties changed when things get cold yeah like Lego cars like the Lego thing words yeah or like your memory modules our memory modules yeah yeah there'll be a channel on hit or a channel on his video channel of my video subscribe to Joe's channel because he's gonna have a video on basically more or less D living memory modules if you've ever had to take the heat spreader off memory modules modern ones especially they are on there to a point that it can be disconcerting sometimes you don't really want to just rip it off yeah chips off the reason why we want to take the heat spreader off especially with lauda that's a really good all right the four nine thirty five one five five it did once cold so 85 one is high five yeah - 120 yep four nine you okay one five five I bumped up the little bit yeah okay no wait wait boy score 35 oh okay yeah no we were talking about oh yeah so yeah we're talking about hey gotta forget whoops doesn't matter I forget high score he goes heat spreader 39 five one eight ever talk about looking medalist Terrence McKelvey build you know that person yeah yeah who's that uh see yes okay here's a little small little uh I'm searching I'm searching yeah I'm doing a 3990 axe build for a vet this week who's going to be using it from multiple virtual machines in his office is probably the correct way to use this trip really I'm considering going to copy text you guys know if you're going I'm currently booked for a copy tax I don't you yeah I don't expect that the thing that can't be named or I'll be demonetised yeah I don't expect that will still be a concern by that I gave it away Wow the algorithm doesn't it's not smart enough yet to to do strong contacts I'm talking about and I'm just looking for the word in the script the AI algorithm that's the real terminator right there yeah channel terminator yeah the channel terminator so we're currently scheduled I don't suspect it will be postponed or canceled that's pretty it's far enough away although our China trip coming up might be faff about PS I wouldn't worry about damaging that CPU the guy who gave it to you probably dropped it a few times already yeah I didn't give it to us bazinga yeah but that's probably - he's thinking that is who he's thinking how many gallons of shampoo do you to go through in a month it's good use it on your beard course no no you got to do conditioner men beard is probably harder to take care of that regulator very dry especially if you go into like salt water and stuff it destroys the beard you got to have a good conditioner should do a hair video just got like one of those riders like Ben's have when they arrive yeah there's the note green M&Ms you've got that sounds got like six gallons of beard conditioner shut down now so remember I've seen before he's like well sometimes when I come down and bring it cold yeah it just flakes out no and but the thing is you can go a little bit more temperature and you can boot back in okay so I'm just trying to get it a little bit cool I think I'm just gonna keep it up 124 now and see how far we can get no just raise voltage okay cool Lawrenceburg keep the great work both of your live streams are the greatest thing since 3900 X's chest bottom my house pad don't forget to sign it yes we won't be signing all the mouse pads that you buy during the stream on sort of camera sexist on that and we're still gonna do that video on that fixing that fixing the 3900 XL oh yeah yeah cuz you know line of liners did that one video I didn't I don't like the way you did it though no it's actually it's pretty funny but I want to do that to I've been planning on doing it I just haven't had the time actually yeah that reminds me you owe me a donor CPU that sounds strange one phrase okay stop it c-come on boot-up baby Charlie 2 to 9 1 1 I really regret buying the 79 80 XE when it came out suggestions were dealing with my mistake I I mean I liked that one give you a lot yeah that was one of the most fun CP as I have overclocked because the 980 XE I didn't like as much because it's the solder makes it a bit easier 99 80 was a brand hot right the 79 80 you can delayed yeah the liquid metal that was actually to be honest if you if you were to ask me for a recommendation between the two I tell you to buy 79 80 yes so would I just for that point because you can put liquid metal on it yes so I don't think you should really feel buyer's remorse on that I mean it's always gonna melt if you better stuff always comes out later did your mouse what's the mouse maybe it's the your mouth maybe it's the USB fingernail freezing over I'll blame your mouth so yeah I wouldn't feel I might have been rebooting and just because of that Zara let's trust even Joe did you guys try the thermo siphon from ice giant no but I'm I did meet with them about it we were in for nine less time and oh that's why he canceled this yeah for nine yeah yeah let's recap the current I guess I'm just gonna put it back last score I have logged is thirty five thousand 155 the current high score world record is thirty nine thousand five eighteen and the let's see the baseline stock score was twenty four thousand six forty three full stock so to give you a quick idea of where we are now we have improved the scoring from stock and a lot of those scores that you'll see that are even on up on HW bought now they've been bitching them for weeks yeah that's the CPU yeah so we are for the three percent forty three percent improved over fall stock and we're at four point nine gigahertz and the current high score is how high above 5k for case 12.4% about where we are in how percent like let's try to know not bad four point nine gigahertz pretty damn good Joe I need to talk to at Messiah Val getting a new utility cuz this thing is a little ridiculous yeah it seems kind of buggy yeah did okay it worked finally they're just a little strange a lot of times between CPUs I mean that's a big jump from 32 to 64 cores so yeah let me catch up on some more to be honest I didn't think we were gonna get the 64 cord so I probably could have asked earlier in the week and probably got it because it's kind of hard to talk to people if I wanted the weekend yeah cuz I don't want to bother them in non work day you know now you're really gonna confuse people where we got the chip from no I'm talking about this yeah I know how are the boards yeah but remember we weren't supposed to be benching this chip yeah that we were lucky but that wonderful other person extremely lucky I wish I could name them and say go subscribe man until he gives me a very firm yes I'm not going to message him should we message I did he said he he said we're 20 I'll leave it at he's working thirty five one one three thirty five one five five okay so it's a run the same yeah but that was for nine so I'm gonna I just wanted to make sure it was this yeah you're about the right place Dave hello beard stick at all beard hello beard a capital P who is the GM get you tater tots yet what up Dave no he didn't give me tater tots I gotta make that Bojangles and cookout about that was there tater tots Annette no no no but you can't kept more i'll get it at the air pickup more north carolina than that Mike Bob do we freeze I think we froze president Mike Bob its tech Jesus and tech Thor think you officially have branded yourself a coda right yeah no the funny part is I get Thor all the time - I actually fix this guy story didn't thordan towards it how are those Thor know I'm renaming ya your Realtor Tim yeah oh I get it now yeah cuz now it's a it's not a commonplace word that you can trademark on YouTube I get tech Odin all the time but then there's the other one where I uh in real life everybody calls me Thor that it's kind of funny I guess I'm bigger didn't person in person then if you see me tell you why she like crack my back from standing around this table all weekend with this guy old man old Tim scared baby f ck 50 what beast of a graphics card is oh dude ditch this is like the newest thing this is like the ATT I know this is just the galaxy I think it's a 720 I don't know it's it's we use it for 2d because it doesn't stress anything out you'll notice it's in the slot all the way at the end the reason why it's in this slot too because that actually affects the cold book too we should talk about I think we cover this briefly at the beginning but let's just pci-e generation yeah with AMD boards what's your experience on I know previously for sure like like 2000 1000 series for sure you have to drop the PCIe gen for some overclocking this won't do this one - yeah I'm just having an issue where even if you have it in the wrong slide it forces a certain gen which causes machine ok if you didn't put it into a lower slot it helps a little bit but you still have to change it to PCI gen 1 you go to one yeah okay do you think you could run three I'll do it I could run three I want to do some tests probably with the KP card when I get home um but I think I'll probably be limited to about minus eighty okay too much so you just you can't get lower without evidence I don't think it will matter because the amount of course well I guess it depends on the benchmark yeah as always I do did they express the theoretical limit four times by extreme cuz I know that's probably the only actually theoretical limit is so we already know that three part Vince if he has the extreme record just a one car I think you might be able to but this is fun so times by extreme officially from the developers is built to support twenty eight cores but we've clearly seen with the thirty nine seven yaks I can see 32 yeah I don't know is how to do a 64 but I'll test that I haven't even week I haven't obviously I haven't had the car yeah it's a test it you got one right here yeah I'm putting that one over there I will fill it let me take a super check let's see okay we're in Han back twenty dollars thank you thanks for the great content or thanks for the content sorry there's no magic to this no there's no great content great I put thanks for the content putting words in his mouth Phillip Rams three dollars how effective is Alan two at killing blank and it's a good question and probably help probably I'm probably doing something I wonder if that would cause yeah yeah blank is really messing up messing us up right now so blank why not invest in a liquid helium system I think pensive I think that number one is expend its in crazy and expensive like that's probably that tank is probably like $200 to fill yeah it's about delivered well mine costs about 200 delivered to my house but that's like 200 bucks for that same tank of liquid helium that would probably be about five thousand dollars so and the problem is too is that a lot of these chips can't handle colder than a certain amount so if your chip can't handle cold and minus 196 helium is completely useful I was gonna say you're having trouble even getting to like - 120 sometimes yeah yeah I think liquid helium I want to say is for Calvin I'll top my head it's it comes up to like some - like 320 or something like that I think there's no - liquid helium temperature I always forget so just for Kelvin which is and it's not the easiest thing that used - 269 so 269 yeah it's one of those I know Romans works with it and I asked him ya know because the easiest guys used to do it gigabyte did it to the things it's just it's - it's unmanageable you that's that's what I think Romi can't say that he did it by himself yeah cuz you have a bunch of people you need it like three or four people that's what he told me he said you need like a team of three to handle it yeah he said that it was something like ten times the price of if they did out on - yeah and it's pointless - if you don't have a chip like these chips can't really run that cold so like if you're running at minus 150 C train is balanced really I'm out for that would be a complete so that's why we would use that liquid nitrogen now for chips like say the 9900 today it's our KF and the KS it's possible to use helium because they can actually it will help you get colder and some of those chips but not every chip would be able to handle it to how you have to spin chips in and even try to go that have a question for you does it does the let's say you don't care about going as cold as liquid helium will allow but you care about getting to the temperature you can support on the Seaview faster does the extra speed at which you can cool down the chip with liquid helium help or is it so hard to manage that you'd still just rather use Alan to Hagen so I would assume liquid helium you can bring the temperature down faster but the problem is is you're still using you still have mechanics so if you're still gonna use this same pot right probably on this pot it would be quicker because of the way the the way this part is designed it's actually drilled in from the sides yeah and basically around so what that's doing is creating more surface area so on this pot particularly that you could probably do it yeah but it's still a again it's a pain like it's probably a little bit more dangerous because you need three people so three people are stepping over each other yeah to be honest it's it's almost it kind of takes the fun out of it too really good question though I'm liquid helium oh yeah that's fun I get it quite a bit why is this idiot that's you Joe or me we're both why are these idiots thank you very much yes not using gloves oh my gosh what is that question always come up so here I'm just gonna use the glove to demonstrate it alright don't drop it on the system and job it I can use it oh yeah well use it with how's that Mouse going Joe sixteen that's a bed yeah I have big hands anyway here no no no not this hand I can't I can't even grab it I can do that now get it back off of your hand have to hell I can't you have to pull your hand out of it I can all right a few problems with this first of all first of all this I know I've done this like a million times and PI 90% of people have seen this this doesn't hurt second all don't let it so be funny if you would one of the problems with with getting with gloves first of all yeah there's a lot of like subheadings here but can't use things like learn like leather workman's gloves eat cryo gloves which I do have but they're extremely thick this is the problem and they make it really hard to they make it really hard are you looking that up to manage because I start that's warm damn Joe you okay welcome blank am I gonna get sick well you're in the glove anyway so like handling this is really difficult with the glove you lose a lot of dexterity yeah it sucks the pouring accuracy goes away and I mean also you could get it in the gloves which would be a whole hell of a lot worse than if you didn't have blogs on well it will soak through the gloves too it will say vampire gloves yeah actually my video that's coming out probably Monday basically you'll see actually with the gloves on his channel Gus it's my channel yeah so make sure you go and subscribe yeah yeah so it's there's a lot of reasons we don't use them I personally think it's safer to not use gloves with this application it's cool in here started to have cold issues I think I look too bad underneath huh you can get a run in okay Bob Flanders 777 Joe when you look directly at the camera can you see me no can't see you Steve when will you have a local event I don't know I I considered that I was thinking recently I was considering going to so cat angels you might be familiar with from our charity build we did they have a thrift store where they try to generate some money for their cat shelter I was considering trying to work with them on bringing some of this stuff there that we no longer need like old reviewer kits and stuff and setting up like a small section like just table for an hour or something many people pick them up and donate them but I don't know I haven't actually planned anything so don't know I see a couple more this program's killing me Pedro Martin 100 I max hey with laughing my CPU help with reducing temperature or noise or the changes so small that it's not worth the effort it's so worth the effort I'm going to deal with separately if done properly it will almost certainly reduce the temperature reducing noise when you're talking potentially like one to three degree overall average temperature difference I don't know about noise reduction maybe a little bit if it's a really big Delta on the corner core values but it just helps we have it helps a lot with this dive scene in to help even on air and then what are you benching on what air and water there's a pretty famous I guess he's a retired venture called Dan Cobb oh yeah we eat - yeah he would ask me all the time and we talked about it and he took his his 9900 his world record 1999 hundred K and basically tested it first and then did it after and he gained like 70 megahertz yeah a lot of that which is a huge about yep okay so where are you now let's recap stuff I've been Billy got five yeah have you gotten a score out of it yet no I basically it keeps on filling I don't know if it's voltage issue because it seems like every time I raise voltage I kind of have some type of issue which makes me a little bit scared about the board because remember this board is modified oh yeah do you wanna we haven't actually talked about that yeah so if you if you've checked out some up on my channel I've made I basically have a insulting this motherboard this is the actual board that I human salted he met his wasn't missing the same letter actually what was funny it went from insulating to insulting I kind of hates the insulting with more because it literally I just heating up the board redneck style haha so he pulled the resistor off the board and what was that resistor doing the resistor basically I was hitting ovp which is over voltage over voltage protection so if I'd say it for three and go up to I think one point three five anything over that the current and basically it would just shut down so do you not was just on the air how did you figure that no I was testing oh no the actual mod they asked me I was I know I would go to them like I'm having this weird issue I can't bench it on Ellen too because if I can't bench it on air or water it can't there's no way I'll put it down I'm hitting that current limit so they were right away like yeah we have this issue where it's um cuz I don't think they realize how much power is gonna be pulled yeah just when they initially make the board's like so you just remove a component and that it's fine yeah and then it seems to be fine but I don't know if that is gonna cause issues even more because that's 64 core is twice the amount of 30 yeah I mean it did it's literally 32 more cores yeah in the same area so I don't know if that is pulling too much wattage that this particular board can handle so I'm not sure that's why I don't know what's out there as far as scores from MSI so yeah I'm not sure I'll have to talk to you when it looks like we check check the UH no okay all right now why don't we do is I'm gonna heat up a little bit so I can torch so I'm gonna go on mute okay I'll take some super chats he's gonna heat up so that he can try and get this we're currently at 5.0 ish but without a score and we're trying to I don't know what our goal really is we didn't we didn't specifically say we want to hit a world record I think five gig I think five would be nice if I would be nice we're not live stream that bench professionally yeah you're still not far away though but yeah that sounds good Devon McGinty said let's see will the little hole in the Intel HD DT IHS be an issue with laughing well anyway well here's the continuation of the question well any metal or sand particles get in there and cause issues is your mic on mute oh yeah that's a good thing yeah so on the intel h ee d t usually with that when they have that little died so i'm the solder it's trucked off gassing of a yeah I think it's wouldn't they're sealing it basically it's let's there sure sure our yeah you can I've been I've seen did all of those chips basically from all the x79 chipset shapes or literally so it's kind of like no issue with that like a lot of the times you'll have paste build up in that yeah when you're doing it you just have paste popping out and when I when I laughs the 99 80 XE with Vince who was being a little bit more cautious than I think he typically would because it wasn't his CPU but when I did that one on the on his sanding machine just you know using a machine to laugh it he did take some paste and fill it in the hole yeah because that will catch it clean so yeah it'll keep stuff out yeah a lot of the times I'll test it without at first so a lot of times paste goes right in it like if you haven't used the process yeah or like you probably should stuff something in there it would help a little bit but you should use it first to make sure it works that's the time that's the major test anytime you get anything pretty much anything you need to test it before you start insulating stuff or you first start insulting and insulting it you know I'm just gonna use insulting from now on today I love the way that like I'd love to insult Steve yes yes everyone knows what you're saying I'm holding a Chester says all these tech gears in here slumming it with us well having with us plebs he is employable I know him he's always on my stuff Aaron Hollenback don't break it we try our best he's 70 he actually sent me a cool axe do you see gesture yeah dude it's like a it's like a Nord axe oh really yeah it's like it's pretty dope that it's cool yeah I'm gonna have to take more pictures of it Laurens Baden Hurst says hey if I buy one of the anti-static mod mats will you guys also sign that we're only doing the mousepads today some of the mod mats are on backorder and they're being manufactured and shipped to us so we couldn't if we had them but just the mousepad today let's see we're actually I'm catching up on these that's nice action 64 do you have a kilowatt or something similar we did take some of those measurements the highest amount we pulled straight to the CPU so clamping the EPS 12-volt cables was about 1,100 what just under 1,100 watts is it working or is it freaking out still no I actually I'm doing it like lower tip okay or higher Tim oh yeah yeah yeah yeah so I'm doing a higher temps to see if maybe it's memory causing the issue a lot of times when you go cold air you can it it's just memory I do that too by the way you see a minus 87 versus minus 120 all right now you see it's a lower time yeah yeah that's kind of a mind it's one of those things that you I don't know there's some you ever see those shows of like brain tricks yes brain tricks yeah it's something cold like that Oh give me a break yes yeah 10:56 I think is what I measured fast like 40 for balance you are not too cold for you the beer that holds you warm please do AMD no harm we're trying we're trying to do no harm William good men just bought both the mouse power memory issues dude oh really page fault no page faults a memory issue yeah yeah that's actually useful for people watching - what are some when you get the BSOD is what are some common ones that you know if Tom had watchdog do you know what that's it yeah that's usually both CPU voltage okay yeah watchdog timeout error yeah usually you see PA voltage like too low yeah you could do it like if there's anything memory like you'll see like certain ones yeah it's too low but like even the stuff like you'll see their driver failure if you see anything in that that's obviously something to do with their driver yeah you got it I mean you just kind of limit to what it is and page fault so memory page well it's definitely member what you do about that that's a good question breakdown rebuild that might act we have time we can do it well I know I wouldn't say rebuild I probably just blow everything off and yeah because I don't want to take everything off it's kind of is it more humid today there was this no that's one percent different for two story yeah we should probably invest in a dehumidifier thanks up dad cuz if you get it down to lower it actually helps out quite a bit you'd be surprised like I remember vention in Vegas one time we did a four-way setup so for GPUs on the nitrogen and the CPU on liquid nitrogen for six hours man let's I was like that what is this magical things like this is this is ridiculous like I mean it's the easiest place to bench ever become a professional venture go to the desert it's true that I mean for real that's a great afro in white so desert wouldn't it well no yeah this guy yeah give me a pot I think you'll see a video on Romans Channel huh relating to his current excursion it should be fun there Bauer that is okay so to recap I think we've gone over the score recently about 35,000 155 s where we are right now we started at 24,000 643 it's an improvement atop my head some around 42% and then that original score was at 28 degrees Celsius the most recent you were at minus 120 and then that was 4.9 gigahertz we did just for reference and all core 4.0 set of 29,000 537 so some pretty pretty good improvement from even the 4gl core I wish I wasn't having so many problems with this software though gonna try Justin only in BIOS or is that not a thing you can but just to make it see how it's locked yes five overs for four or five times working then it's definitely enough to get an updated one you can use rising master Joe no I that one's even worse no offense but I'm not a big fan of it it's pretty bad yeah it's not easy to work with it all also it has a limit on the voltage in notice it doesn't let you go over one in five five yeah if we had more time to play with this one I think we can probably do a lot better but it's still pretty thick though oh yeah 49 on 64 cores is insane amazing that's insane almost five gig 128 core I'd feel better when we hit 5 gig though did yeah and I would too did you ever do the 28 Coronel ins here not yet no okay what did you ever do that on water or anything I figured well I did water I don't remember the scores oh I can't remember where I Peaks on it but Oh water was maybe like 4 or 5 okay and that word that's not even like a decent that's like oh that's gonna be a good one that's gonna be yeah that's a good chip I think it was maybe like four six I want to say four seven yeah I don't care remember with good it means chill though four and to hit five gig for sure I know a lot of people flipped out about that William Goodman $10 just oh I think I got that one I don't know just bought the mouse pad on the largemouth bat longtime lurker till now acutely could work one might be large mod magma and come if I have it on backorder I think it's on the store let me check what we have currently set we're making a lot of them right now but the the thing I can't talk about because I'll get the monetized it means that Lunar New Year was extended by about a week and so all the factories are still out till tomorrow actually come back tomorrow anyway those are let's see what we see late April is what we currently have for the large size the mediums I think are in stock we're gonna try to just do it in the BIOS because it's just okay taking too much time sounds good to me we haven't made any progress for a little bit because the issues with software that help with memory really dan 7/7 rain is it safe to go TDP two times or three times using 9900 K and as long as you have more words a question is it safe to go two to three times over TDP I think is the question so as to to pretend yeah well so okay till we Russian TDP isn't that great isn't really the run a great minding na guror not a good way to measure it yeah a lot of people quoted - it's just it's not a power number it can be closed on Intel but yeah once you account for the boosting the turbo limit your maybe I 140 in 795 it's almost like how they take emissions from cars we're like on the higher end do you have that I think then VW do that yeah yeah where they basically had that whole big issue VW who was was the leading pioneer of trying to pull the transportation budget Lee how much emissions yeah everybody ready nice almost out of that one um yeah so is it safe just get a decent cooler on there look at the temperatures you're more likely to run and in normal circumstances you're more likely to run into a temperature limit like TJ Maxx before you run into deadly voltages but don't go set like 1.55 like I think you're still running here you at 155 still I think I'm one sec boy stay in reason and if something's not happy Don Ho Chi Tory is this one no no Donna Troy says any tips on maintaining long blonde hair or a beard conditioner it's all about conditioner they're all pastes conditioned their same thing we use their well baseman that can great conditioner PC custom stop be e is awesome but er rip its lacquer you got a thirty nine ninety you know you have to put you have to put your sunglasses for my buddy why cuz that's it that's his thing his name shades are these safe yeah what you do to them nothing there like it sick technically their safety specs oh really yeah what do you got to do we got to be like I don't believe ya they are they're actually from Home Depot that sounds like a sigh AK but such are yeah I think maybe I'm pushing us I might as well no sorry we don't have them in we just have no that's why one point six goodbye Ryan Quinn what frequency range should we expect on water with a 3990 accent all four we haven't tested it straight to Anton I'm not gonna lie I'll know soon I'll know this week well I guess what what 39 70 X look dude I basically assumed lower yeah you're twice the amount of course yeah though I was about to I was about to say I'm trying to remember what it was on water for the other one the four four we had trouble with overclocking thread river in general we're stability on the impersonalist ability for normal applications everyday use was suspect law all the time I was between four three and four four on the thirty nine seventy and that was pretty locked down hmm but also I had to mana board to build yeah so that was kind of it I'll be able to answer that question and yeah a week or two that that's why you won't let me lock this thing yeah as one of the many reasons one of the many yes another one is the several hours it would take to find sandpaper so what we do store what you should talk about that a little bit because that was pretty funny I don't know if you guys saw in the video basically he lit Teagan pathes oh that's pretty funny oh that's good you booted up five gigs so that's good I peered of that all right five yeah I had the reason voltage are we actually gonna have a clock run oh because the booty doesn't mean if they're gonna run we'll see just make sure it's actually that nervous sometimes it does hokey things where you try to stare it out - 120 around there before I wasn't able to get really 120 don't touch things team you broke it no thanks oh I'm just kidding three okay all right oh we're gonna try to run anyway yeah we keep it what are you at 5 yeah we're at 5 good fun okay I don't know if that utility is causing us some issues maybe the voltage and stuff getting set I would sometimes between I like different BIOS more it's just a lot slower yeah the thing is uh nevermind I misread that number I thought it's at 100 grams I like your clothes that fell they failed yeah it's funny apps on it stops yeah it almost seems like there's something blocking it I wonder if there's some type of implement ah usually when usually when we have some type of overprotection things shut off yeah but there is sometimes I would expect it to go black if it were yeah CP well if it's o CP basically what would happen it would shut off you'd have to shut off power completely and go back on that's with any old video TP or RSVPs so I think that was it just seems weird that was stability just some yeah I could be stability too oh I hit the wrong button again increased voltage um I guess we can try problem is is I think it bolted could be the issue to decrease voltage could we ever like let's go to 1.6 I think I'm at 165 let's look I think this is kind of limit at this temp so maybe just going colder should help can you go to call there without it maybe now okay I think a lot of the issues sometimes so people don't get it like when you're doing liquid nitrogen stuff you run into the weirdest issues really a professional overclocker is a professional troubleshooter it's a professional who has a lot of patience yes him that sure somebody who can professionally sit down for like six hours and figure out yeah because there's time there's sessions that will run hours and hours and hours but uh sometimes you'll have utilities that cause you a whole type of headache so like if you were to change the save from five to five one I had chips like ah next to x99 where I had to set it like the voltage and everything at the multi at like minus fifty and then pull it down to minus 20 and then bench and like there's a lot of things so you got to kind of troubleshoot everything so you want to try to limit it right as much as possible to be able to do things so it looks like we're at one six then let's try that and then we'll try and make me like one six one okay all right we could try the other one too let's just give it see super chance I'm trying to read all of these today we typically get every single one of them so we do run about a thirty to one hour 30 minutes one hour delay though we're at a one hour delay right now I read them see we got right and get too many super jets the Vincent van all right so mr. Steve I'm a conductor hi mr. Steve how much for your facial hair's asking the wrong person what you saw those right I don't even have to sell them you come over my house one time I can donate you as much hair as you want just vacuum is floor and you can have an entire Beach worth of hair I'm not even kidding like I had this argument with my girl the other day she's like I find your hair everywhere more than my hair like it and you could tell it's a beard hair yeah like literally in my truck like my motorcycle I keep it on my motorcycle the other day I found it on there actually tweeted the other day last night I was thinking about it cuz I was I I was about to go to sleep we were here late last night yeah and all of a sudden I find a beer right our beard beard and I found a beard hair right I'm like sitting on like the coffee table and I'm like oh that get there like it's the weirdest spot I find them everywhere so if you want them go vacuum his house go back you my house Daniel silver good luck have fun today yes we are we did pretty well so far but we're trying to get five I don't know the more the most of what it's looking like it's different it is it frozen no its water okay look at that yeah yeah yeah hey we're gonna break what I'll do is I'll break down I'll keep the pot everything yeah and we'll just get all the water off that sounds good so well we're gonna quickly break it down and we can reassemble his cardboard and then we'll be good to go again this is gonna be the dry often all right yeah the memory is pretty soaked that's why we're getting such weird errors yes it's tough on this platform because you need such a big pot and when you have such a big pot one of the biggest issues you have is the cold spreading to the rest of the board maybe we'll try eater too one of the things I can get the I have the KP one well I have two okay I brought mine one of the things that I've also dealt with when doing this is you'll get water buildup on the back of the socket we're in the socket as you've noticed and that's really hard to troubleshoot because the only know if it's there does it take the entire than apart and then you're like it's actually ridiculous to like and on and on the thread Ripper setup it's even more complicated because the chip is so big you have to make sure all the pressure and everything is good and lined up and like otherwise you won't you won't get off four memory channels you only maybe get two or three or you might not even boo you've got a video on that coming up on your channel - yeah I have a video basically talking about just that yeah there's - yeah but yeah he was throwing on the last night we're just tweaking the screwed attention by a quarter-turn will be a difference between Channel and also Goethe not another one what else what do you need for that do you to keep keep down there oh yeah I'll need to heat gun in a bit okay I'm probably gonna turn it upside down pour water on it okay I'll just keep you the cloud mounted I'm probably heat it up to like 50 yeah Andrew if you want to try to keep it down and look if you look at the memory mug excuse the problem most likely see the water on him overnight not really it I guess it's on this side yeah so the water buildup on the other side was based it out here I can feel it's got some condensation usually I think what I'm gonna start doing at home is a lot of the times I'll put a pot on here is your mic off oh yeah actually no I think it's done it's on right yeah this is the fun part we get to mess with extreme cold and we get to and then fire yeah tell me they you know you're plugged in and everybody know what happens is basically when you're heating up you're gonna have water drench all over so you want to try to keep the paper towel on and just heat up a tub when you start get into the +10 you'll see that we're at minus 20 you'll see how the pot will start changing to actually start to get more the rest of the pot will do that and will create water but the paper towel should take care of that yeah so to just update everyone what are they doing so right now we're heating up so that we can try and get past some cold issues over [Applause] the bugs and eventually shut down it actually will kill your upgrade it can kill a lot of stuff yeah felt components to so one of the first things we did this was once you start getting here there isn't really understanding apart it's time to break down yeah cuz that's how your clothes that's how you feel hardened right baby no it's really how it is most of the hardware that I've ever killed because I benched too long yeah but that's a it's a usual problem and most ventures that have benched liquid oxygen for it even a little while will tell you the thing yeah this is my number one tip to be honest so this we're gonna get it back up and going as soon as it's dried off let's see if we can hit 5 apparently sort about five but not running the bench for nine gigahertz all of course 64 cores in the act we're running 35,000 155 for the score constant imagine our 20 to give you perspective that's about 40 something 42 percent of a full stock everything load out by default which is $24 three and then the thirty nine thousand five eighteen current world record is about twelve percent above so that gives you a sense of scale where it's definitely higher than stock under still but we've also got understand it's also chip quality yeah so the top record you're seeing is going to be an insanely big trip and also again like you kind of want to get that number as we can yeah no chasing - not explained by us and all this stuff so yeah we're doing [Applause] what am i super chat so far Adam oatmeal bottom mousepad thanks for signing wise loud thank you for buying one Adam associated well both were signing both of us will be signing all the mouse pads sold today and a barnacle is already five firstly as head of that scroll down KB swim which Windows 10 are you using the schedulers are different 19:03 something like that there's yeah we're aware that yeah 1903 we're aware the therapy is Robin there's benefits and there's also downside downsides too so it's not just sometimes you'll lose memory performance like the newer versions the windows are a little shaky with window with memory it's also an issue of what have you had an experience with testing and making sure you understand what Windows is doing it like you don't really want to come here for ice cream and throw in a Windows OS you haven't used before yeah it gets difficult especially for benching you got to have everything particularly dialed in yeah we were kind of rushing Vishnu for his since we didn't have a 64 yeah it literally came in like a little over 24 hours ago yeah so just really what this is even happening right now yeah thanks it wasn't gonna happen yeah we were gonna do a 39 70 X I was like oh that 64 course don't launch and it's the one weekend no one will care about the 32 for yeah so the one weekend I made a lot of calls I considered doing a day trip four and a half hours there and back to Micro Center and we ended up working with a youtuber friend of ours who has loaned it to us so and we were able to get it overnight next morning shift so it left that youtuber at about 1:00 2:00 p.m. on Friday and got here at about 11:00 a.m. or so on Saturday hey pretty lucky pretty good and that also means that you've had an equivalent amount of time pre testing this as you have had streaming it now so literally yeah I probably think we hadn't well no it's probably run the same yeah it's about two to three hours maybe all right one thing you want to do oh yeah see all that water water to be honest it doesn't happen as much as this but on this pot as compared to let us say Vince boss ah because uh I guess it's the way it designs it area a lot on the socket we should share camera see see how much condensation buildup yeah and so this kaliya we have liquid liquid electrical tape on there let me like you know I just just to do it yeah I just don't have it leaning yeah I don't want to bend stuff because remember there is a PCB under there yes you've got liquid electrical tape and the socket that's good it should be yeah it should be fine just just so it doesn't start tripping it yeah I just got to kind of go through I think water is fairly misunderstood as it relates to hardware but so insulation helps a lot obviously Vaseline is a common choice little actual tapes what Joe's using but then there's also water just paper towels paper towels help a ton yes and then water just hitting the component doesn't mean that it's gonna die yeah it's not like it just fizzles and that's it it's dead here you can sell it to that dude I'm not even kidding like it just comes out of nowhere that's definitely a beard that was probably the problem yeah there's a problem that could have been it it was shorting a char the big you're surely not afeared conductive beard hair yes sure the memory modules are good make sure there's no water in there we suggest or do I get this one bris and Jamie was in what would have what would be a good measure for CPU performance per watt also does an overall multi-core performance efficiency decrease this is a good one for you Joe let's let's take this one two different ways question for you there's overall multi-core performance efficiency decrease linearly they're asking with under-voltage but I'm curious about overclocking so as you start over on that question as you let's do this wafer is as you increase the clocks is there a linear gain and performance we could do the math on that but their main in in in jet like if you increase the clock we can do the math on it if you increase the clock forty percent is or a 40% increase in performance generally answers now it's less yeah but let me see what's there some numbers what do you would think just like even the 64 courses the 32 core right yeah they're increased 32 cores yet how much did we really increase so we had a I think I was at like 780 at around four eight four nine when I was eight hundred maybe Ike eight forty so it's like two hundred but give me vas yes wondering if this would be better anything I can do it doing some math on this question doesn't mean his model yeah okay so we did a just for reference to the Cinebench are twenty which is not a real typical application benchmark application mostly we did a twenty two point five percent increase in clock from 402 for nine and we did a yielded a 19% increase in score so that one's pretty close to linear so far but that's not gonna be how all applications are doing Vaseline for that yeah just a little bit in a little brush I'm gonna try to put it on the first two modules to see if it uh the problem is with Vaseline you really don't want to get it in the memory slot that will cause you got to clean it out yeah you could see that's pretty much our issue right now is the first two modules because this is quad channel so you have four modules you can see how soaked it is and there's no it's pretty hard to get it get away with that yeah it looks like is the module is it's not even in the slots so your brush yes hit upload off a little bit hours thanks Steve why don't you have a compressor you know the problem we have with fans I got one that's good right yeah but you run it outside a different room right no I do I run in the same room I heard it on your screen was still kind of loud for my face oh yeah you own a pen yeah it's some more pressure out of it I have a compressor on the floor here but we'd have to mute both or mites yeah that were I have that I hate that sir it's so awful I bought it for the same thing and then literally it's sat in my garage yeah because it's so demo loud and annoying but I found in a Hitachi one that's really good if you watch my screams basically I have one where I would do all this now yeah but uh Lisa Jaster said install a couple of Galax cards and see how that Andy does in 3d mark we have to swap out the EVGA PSU well we were talking about that earlier technically we're probably gonna have issues with cold on that because whenever you're doing the PC you obviously want to go higher pci gen for any of those 3d touches that's kind of like if you go you'll drop performance quite a bit just from like Jen tooted from gen 3 to Gen 2 is good it depends I guess it depends on the bench but I remember the fire strikes and stuff were like 2,000 points like there's it was quite a big change like you don't want to be ya doing that Matthew sprigs rate this OC 48 20k which I don't remember four point seven eight gigahertz 104 v CL k 46 multi the 48 20 K is that a UH it's an Intel chef at $99 that free I can't really I can't with dude I think will ask me all the time about old chips and and yeah I broke a bunch of records on them and stuff but dude I feel like I've been so many chips that I can't you can't keep up after a while HBO Matt's tape a beard extension picture onto his license that's kind of funny and then when you pull out your wallet unfolds yeah yeah like dude I like that I like that that's good feel like you got pulled over for speeding your hand that's a cop they'd be like you know what you're good I like you to do that according to hardware by what they are enjoying my Twitter for that because I'm actually gonna do that accordions a hardware bot they are number two in the world I'm not sure who if that's your friend uh us or someone else I guess I can open up Hardware button check and can't be numbered you know I don't know cuz I know slave and then another he's this guy I don't know how to say his name is a Korean he just actually moved over to Taiwan dude yeah he was in art he works racist right he's I think he just started working now with four aces he moved to Taiwan from Korea think he took a he was in my in the jiske he was he's a very accomplished puncher obviously if you can make it to the G skill OC World Cup stage then you're doing something right r20 here it is he didn't make it all the way through but I mean even just getting there just getting there's his painting have to be honest if you can like hold your own in there you're the man world series of over card I think you might actually be you are number two right now on hardware box Oh number two then surprise me is it a buged 100 32 eight nine it's slightly current high scores 39 five one eight the second place I think is above if it's 42 5-4 you probably didn't but the curtains necklace what the current second place is 32 eight nine eight and it's a micro Center account which is kind of funny and then the weary if you submit your score you'd be at 35 one five five which is a pretty firm second place pretty firm yeah it's about a an equal gap between you and I support HW out now so we'll have to put it up there yeah that's good nice second place the first loser he's like what they don't yeah yeah I've been saying that for years I've said it for years - I actually put it up on a comment last year yeah someone said I think no cuz I remember I go slacker first and I go if you ain't first you're last no I didn't use that one I usually used to use that one all the time I disappointed myself now Chris oh thanks for great content hashtag London thanks for watching from I'm assuming London I've been their wives Samuel I've never been there I was almost good they almost gonna move there really yeah I had a job for this you know the work I do yeah basically back in Oh five it was either I go to Florida or go to England okay go to Florida they are very very different places in terms of weather I know I love the warmth I'm like a one guy do I like the rate or the Viking thing I find out pillage everything that's told yeah but the thing is the place is Viking a travel to places and conquer areas okay basically what I'm doing soccer in Florida right so you traveled to Florida and then you got a location to put a computer to do your job to conquer Florida hey it doesn't really sound that Viking this Joe I don't know you do have the boating in common that's true I love photo you should get a new boat they're a long path yeah yeah I can break him on Burt a Viking long bit yeah they're actually pretty genius you know oh yeah there it is is pretty awesome I remember do you see a greater core to core Delta on CPUs with chip let's like thread Ripper if the chip boats are slightly different heights for example it's a good question with the question if the core to core Delta is temperature Delta is higher with well we haven't ripped apart this one so yeah I'm not gonna put the fans on tell you how it is more answer the question though should we do this I looked at that on the 39 70 X and I was honestly it was about the same as what I saw on like Intel monolithic thighs so that said I don't have a big sample size of talking a couple of chips and they're all different excuse but it was about the same Hazim Oh EW I so Steve do you think that you will reach 40k yes sorry no I don't think we'll reach 40k on the score but you are pretty damn close that'd be impressive yeah big owl good to see you love these weekend live streams got me a mouse mat any chance on getting the lightweight pullover hoodie with different logos already have the one in the store yeah definitely those are those come my Don pullover Steve because I got a beard [ __ ] wear one I can get your if you want like kind of Owen I think I think I think we could add another one that wouldn't be too hard next one what is blue rhythm I love that so you did that pretty fast that's good mm uh blue said love the sound when you're pouring liquid nitrogen it is kind of crazy it's my favorite sound to be honest think it's my adrenaline going ever go into a fast car when you turn it on like an old muscle car it's like it's the same feeling I get yeah yeah it's pretty cool yeah noise I don't like is when you turn some of those cylinders on sometimes they have that really high squeal usually when they're empty when they're empty yeah they're awful yeah it's not not pleasant what'd you do Steve literally nothing what did you see for once I can I can be happy with that statement yeah wonderful modules not in right now yessiree see them yeah let's hope the one thing I don't like about this platform is how long it takes for a BIOS reset yes I feel like it takes like a half an hour it takes forever Mariner 17:12 going to lightly OSI a 1700 x4 desk loth-cat work probably should get a knock to a cooler or stick with the included Wraith I mean I just get an aftermarket cooler for an OC it's worth it donors are pretty good yeah I had one on an 18 quarter I was so impressed with it there they do what I worked very well was a notch always wanted the big fans you got the wood you gotta watch about what air coolers is memory depending on what memory you have the heights and stuff sometimes the coolers don't fit well or if you put the cooler on it's hard to put the memory on or you have to put the memory on first stuff like that does that memory socket it all the way is it booting that was resetting BIOS it's the BIOS that UCO's day it takes like 20 minutes it feels it drives me nuts Terrell son is there an actual benefit by using a GT 7 10 GB we answer that already or is it just I don't want to kill an RDX car so it's just for 2 d out we want something simple out of the way and it's lower PCIe Jen you're all the way in the the lowest slot we're basically gonna be on Jen 1/2 because of the cold issues we have so there's really no reason to run in RTX yeah I do want to try it though I kind of wanted to break out a KP o is a dozen Chad thank you say I appreciate that Thomas Sagar is one Dino message Douglas Park Nets this is for conditioner for you by the way can't wait for a sign mousepad yes we will be signing them so you will will sign those right after the stream Wow nice ok cool I mean I was a little worried for a second right there wasn't booting yeah what happens all the time so what you end up doing is advance on on both sides of the modules no just one yeah and on the the modules that are closest to the part the ones that get the cold is a lot of the times the pot is the problem - yeah like to be honest on this part I might it's almost like it's just radiating cold like yeah it does it does put your hand there and you just feel cold it's such a monstrosity of a pot but you need it for something yes there's other things you can do I probably should have I wonder I actually wanted to do when I kind of forgot you know you have that tape now at the tape but it's the information yeah yeah yeah the ARMA flex one RFI's yeah it's what you can do is you can put cardboard in there and you put that tape on the other side and try to insulate it yeah do you want it or do you want no no I don't worry about it sound like that kool-aid over to show people though yeah you can bring it over I actually bought this from Vince on kingpin cooling Home Depot I know that but I wanted support Vince he had just given me a KPIX for these streams so yeah this is what you're talking about right yeah yeah so what you can do is you can basically a lot of the times I used to put a back end a used to put this around the pot so that way it insulates the pots so the cold doesn't go everywhere else the problem with that this stuff is sticky and nasty and that pot you're gonna heat and cold so a lot of the times that glue comes off on the pie it just it just gets nasty all around so uh what I usually do is I pop I'll put it on like pop art pop or not know and think about like cardboard basically you put it on the side of the quarter board and you can basically use it as and pop them off on demand so you can have it like wrapped around you stick it in there all the way around it will help insulate against against that issue you forgot it the lower memory now that clocks yeah Vocaloid I got accepted into college into the college I wanted a few days ago for computer science so that's cool times that go into crippling student loan debt lmao yeah sorry that's that's something I haven't heard wouldn't load yeah that's a that's the tough part man we don't I don't really to go but you're both we're both dropouts I think did you know I never window ok that makes me the most educated one here yeah if I completed and credit hours Joe 10 credit over I think so I don't know this barely it might have been like 20 I don't know it's like borderlining nothing I was barely part-time I went to packs you know the event yeah what's up acts 2010 and after that I was like this is literally the only thing I want to do is go to these shows and do this job so after about a year that I was like you went to pax was your first show yeah for sure I've never been it back it's fun I don't know Thermal Mike from Thermaltake yeah yeah I guess they're going up to pax there he's setting up he always does a bunch of machine it's game and I favor boxes yeah so I think he'll probably advise no he's gonna be there he'd probably agree with this it's definitely less of a hardware show but the people like if you do a booth right like they do cuz they do all the crazy builds and stuff yeah yeah I think the audience is just a lot more enthusiastic about it because they it's not like see you ask for contacts where everybody there has seen it before yeah it's it's something that's not used to I guess yes it you're almost you're your nerd senses are just overblown yeah Computex the same thing the CES they can be like here's this forty thousand dollar special system that we brought someone into mod and paint and everything it was like new J so you have anything interesting okay see if any new products I'd rather see a $40 case yeah different they don't use cases yeah I think we have some motor issues I think so rocket could be memory somewhere okay break it down or do you want to try and fix it let's see what it does first it seems like it's memory clocking fail this you air very overclocking yeah it tends to be usually water in the socket okay I've found if I can't boot up a door I usually have to change pressure right let me see if I can look through it yes so where highest was a four point nine gigahertz just let everyone know if you hadn't caught it and I'll note again we are signing all the mousepad sold during the stream today so everyone who ordered one earlier we will get your assigned after the stream is over I'm starting this which is real quick okay just see she has modules in mind Ivan used by third multi grooms okay cheyanne socket these yeah you want to pop my up just be careful why they're not behind exactly that's my problem hahaha oh yeah I'm slippery there's still a little bit of I know that was probably action yeah that's definitely yeah just be careful with that one that wondered okay I'll let you cut past everyone what you don't need them capacitor toward I get more memory anyway yeah probably have more memory than anybody you're up there for sure no I'm dude I have a yes now literally I'm one night hoarding I have more than SK Hynix it's kind of funny like I had some I went with my one buddy he was going further like 32 mm I think he's probably like top 3 or top 4 in the world and now when he's like man I need memory so bad I was like come on bro come on over and we'll go bin memory and stuff and he had a nice one round about media is Joe a fisherman I swear I saw him pulling up us what is that yeah outside pulling up a Snuka on the Skyway Bridge here no wasn't me does he run bait casters now unfortunately I'm more north of that so I oh I go to go down to the Skyway but like I'm more up in the Clearwater area so on the Clearwater area it's probably like 45 minutes by boat I've literally driven that whole section though all the way around there's it's some awesome boating it's that where you almost died probably yeah around there my buddy's sailboat Sean Daly why hasn't anyone created an electric heating element integrated into the pot and another for the back of the board that has been created actually where you've been ah so do you have one I can use all sorts on the top part top up there top layer I see it there's two of them now the one's a prototype and the other one is the icy ideal yeah I'll bring them over so we can explain its people so yeah heaters have been invented it's not in the pot but it is on the backside and these are in the pot is actually a pretty good idea it's interesting this Joe is this a GP or CPA there are both ppl CPU so these are red one which is probably the I think one of the first it's two centers together I'm not gonna pull them apart you can't get a in red unless you're on a partner it's not difficult pulled off and it was already mascot a bunch of those yeah so socket you know thank you goes into the back you plug in power one of the biggest things I worked with this when we did that onto the the st. Jude stream with J and one of the biggest things was forgetting to plug in the heater or if you've seen my streams I've done that many times yeah so for GP is it's really important because the memory will freak out if it gets too cold but the core wants to be cold so you need to keep a memory warm and he's got little resistors in there on the memory which probably talked why we're not using it on here my worries is that it might actually mess up the VL run hmm where it gets too hot and hey let's face it here we're talking about 128 threads of yeah power we're talking over thousand eleven hundred watts probably like just on what five five plus one plus not a super ultra high on board yeah $700 which by thread upper standards is cheap yeah so how much is the point 850 so usually I try different boards but that's the one thing that's weird is always benching different boards yeah not the easiest thing no yeah so it's pretty simple though it's just a that's a heater and pop it on there and then that keeps keeps socket warm right yeah so you don't freeze over the back is the big thing but yeah we don't want to run that via I'm too hot Dixie on how hard were just announced two five five gigahertz OSI bro don't get me started on that five five on cpu-z is that what it was yes that's the only way it's gonna be it tells me nuts people are gonna understand that cpu-z that means if you that's the highest you can clock without one doing anything it's basically what it is pop-ups yeah uh I'm working for the bench yeah it cpu-z or is it is it the full one let's see let's pipes my buddy Enclave yeah his was that fifty yeah but he's mentioned in that but he wasn't and he was also actually doing our twenty nine five five no big an iPhone no at 53 yeah fifty-three is most likely so you got to figure when when you're benchmarking there's a couple different things like obviously the benchmark that five five is not at anything crazy our fifteen he's been cheating five three max so there are arch when it was our 20 or 15 I came over not this first wave yeah that's our 2020 yeah so he's at 5 3 which means that's a big difference between 5 5 that's 200 megahertz different which gets hard that's actually fight for yeah yeah but cpu-z that's pretty interesting that's technically yeah that's not that great Robert posted higher if I buy a mousepad will Joe Steve and Pat design Patrick is not here today we have the fake Patrick Andrew Andrews the face he's otherwise known as the fake bedroom people think everyone here his name's Patrick for some recent Keaton bloom quests I'm sorry hi Steve and bearded Harbor I once run dry ice and isopropyl through a quartermaster a radiator what is the lowest temperature you would recommend for the pump I don't know that that's what I get here those areas when those temperature things up right break the pump yeah you'll have number one your liquids probably gonna you might have cracking in the tube series you need to make sure you have really quality it's a fan it's fine thump good let me try to Darwin it yeah I'm not sure the lowest I can tell you this I can tell you that a lot of those CLC's are rated for minus 40 degrees Celsius so you should be good down to minus 40 but below that I don't know wow Motorsports said liquid helium has a very low heat capacity and poor heat transfer properties so wouldn't help cool faster thanks for the information from the earlier question andreas sheriff says slacker yeah you sounded better with the mic and your beard Steve I am I Twitter in here too much with crazy ideas I probably don't see them all we get a lot so I do my best to keep up on it but can't always let me see what what is this what did you put on me first where's that from here I was hockey that's probably the soccer Dean's there is it why did he go to one there we go now my distributor just texted us and said these sets of black and white mouse pads were out of stock so he fixed the inventory and they're back in stock on the store so is I mean because the way the inventory tracking works we have to manually adjust the inventory quantity if we have like if you want to buy black and blue we have a set of maybe you let's say we have let's say you have time black and blue but you might actually have more than that about because we're splitting between single sales we have to have a different quantity for each SKU so if you adjusted it manually to get over although I admit that no mouse bad yeah never the case it's all good I think this is just all you know I can't stay in that stuff because it that it's the thermal pad yeah it's from the heat expansion they can heat in the cold and it gets nasty it turns into goo it's working or what you know I think we're gonna think it's I think I think yeah I might be done there might be water in the socket itself if you wanna whatever you want to do on that I can finish the Super chats and get us up to speed on those and we can say we can close super chance at this point I think so sucks I wanted to do at least five gig yeah while you booted at five and then you ran at four nine so that's pretty good yeah memory went to crap before we could do anything let me try to do this let me just okay if you wanted if you want to give it another shot or whatever I need to do super chat so anyway it's a catch-up yeah go ahead guys we're gonna close super chats here so it is 325 local time I'm not going to take any after this time don't submit anymore we want to make sure we get to everyone I don't want to leave anyone with an unanswered comment so next one Sean Daly retro C live stream Allen - OC of Intel 486 X 25 yeah that'd be he I tell liked the idea of doing a stream of like old overclocking but I have no experience on the bad old stuff so the old stuff can be I would need you two here to help private time on that would be killed yeah thing because here's the thing a lot of the old stuff doesn't support some a lot of the new stuff so trying to get a lot of the bench just even getting the bench to run it can be offended but yeah you have to go back into old os's find old drivers and it can be very difficult but 486 you're talking about your real yeah I'm those boards and a lot of those boards don't really support overclocking you're like using a jumper Auggie actually why don't you use it kind of fun to do though why don't you say liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen at a six to one ratio well I'm not exactly sure but I am assuming that's explosive but I'm dealing with liquid oxygen well the good option is very exposed oh yeah and could you imagine if we had this I don't know if that's like maybe let's check for air yeah be fun fun oh it looks like there's water in the socket okay that's what happened so we'll recap the network lock never goes through its water in the donut okay do you want to try and drain it and then break down probably well I have to break down I have to I have to take the chip yeah yeah probably the worst part drives me nuts so to recap the score is in case we're not able to get it up and running again see what we can do we did get up to port he's gonna try but we got up to 49 at minus 120 degrees Celsius 1.55 vcore for that score 3,800 mem 14 14 14 and 40 289 won t that was that about just under 1,100 watts and that was CPU only power draws so very high power for just the CPU score was 35,000 155 r20 and I was it here stock was 24,000 643 I know I've done this but just everyone who's maybe it wasn't here before and then if you're curious 400 was 29 537 for one was 30,000 for five was 33,000 dish so it's it's fairly linear increases I love your kicking this'll turn why fish yeah yeah you score the numbers are too big it takes forever to say I'm sorry short everything yeah so yeah current world record 39 money we should go bench 19 a matter DK and then you look at our 15 in our time yeah is it done yet yeah sit there wait around so Joe is to his credit number to technically on Hardware bar right now yeah not the first time yeah just like that I don't care it's not different when you've done it before well that's the problem when you've broken so many records like you look at number two hashtag humblebrag it kind of gets to the point it's it's just it's just benching in general yeah yeah like if you if you start getting it's all Center it's all the time it's like a second place yeah well it's also not that big of a community either so yeah in terms of the top yeah uh yeah there was it is its Flav right now is he number one maybe safe this it depends this belief it's a little organized weird well unless it's not updated or whatever but yeah r20 currently is slave yeah and and it's coming the problem with these processes is that they're very expensive so yeah I don't think a lot of people are gonna be even getting him I doubt it I don't recognize many of these know lad silences he's a one of our judges oh really yeah he's uh for the gschool competition just go come that's cool I'm surprised you don't see Hiva in there he was the up one of the other judges yeah there's not a lot of there's four there are four 3990 X's in here it's interesting to see that if you look at there there's the AMD epics the seventy seven forty two s yeah they can't see this kid me no but I mean if you go to HW BOTS org and click on benchmark yeah all benchmark so then control a 420 yeah anyway um okay so let me take these places or version losers someone said it yeah that's you first first loser technically we'll put it on yours really no I used to do there's actually go back through all my like discs I have records although like I have like second place courses like although hmm you get to the point when you start doing you do first place all the time seconds just don't look as goodness oh they don't objectively objectively they don't it's kind of weird though like before that like before you start breaking records and you're like oh I just got fifth place it's awesome hey you know you should be proud of whatever you do because guess what it's supposed to be for fun anyway you're not fun you shouldn't be doing this unless you're doing it professionally there aren't many of those yeah technically I don't know if there's any way I wouldn't really call them guys though there's only a very few guys that actually do this for a living yeah a lot of them work for companies like that Stu exactly so basically like safe this for instance he now works raises yeah so like that's kind of the pros that you get but it's almost an unfair advantage when you have those but are you really gonna take the cpu out I just really don't want to but I guess I have no choice right might as well like I've got to come out anyway another thing you know I came here and I take it home and CEO and coq10 incognito I guess is how it's pronounced incognito can we see a revisit of the 3,800 X first 3,700 axon that prices have become closer know the scores haven't changed just like at our thirty eight hundred extra view it's I mean all that all those benchmarks are going to be the same percentage difference that's original what would you do would you buy a thirty seven hundred extra or thirty eight hundred X I think that's what is point I think on principle I would buy I think I went to hate those stupid product segmentation there are been a little bit to be honest it's weird that that is weird like there's no hard proof that it is a bin version Bend and virus wasn't really much better so but you can always get a bin of another chip like cuz they don't technically test all the max limit the problem is it's like they want everyone to say oh it's $10 more might as well so and I kind of start to fall towards that but then at the same time I haven't seen I don't I just I hate that stupid chip the 1800 acts a it's just a weird segment that shouldn't be there I think yeah I realize that's why at the price falls like a hundred dollars in a Portland because they know yeah Paul the bearded one downing sup broski's cranky with the 3950 X I'm having issues issues setting the voltage on export 70 when I change it it seems to default to 1.0 volts have you seen this issue at all on an export 70 board unspecified it depends on the board and hey where'd he go have you seen this issue at all your boards or am I just being dumb well it's actually really not a dumb question a lot of times it depends on the board like for instance you might have a more lower n-470 board her update bios maybe yeah that's the other thing too is a bias can make a huge difference I recommend if you ever anybody if you ever get a board right away look at see what bias you need like yeah because bias one bias from another can change everything it's a game changer yeah it really is it's yeah it's not even it's not even getting for real it is no it's a pretty good mountain that is a very good mount let's not show the HS oh you can't see anything yeah I got a good char like that each I like that standing before we uh yeah that's fine yeah see there's no water in there so you know where the water is under the CPU might it most likely unless there's some water in here somewhere but it's hard to it's tough on these because the chip is so big look how big that chip there too I mean even though it makes the 18 cores that you know they old into it until hate decoys look like yeah I can't say the rest well that's a ground upon let's I guess take it outside so you had another ship yeah yeah this is what if yeah I don't know I think this is in the other video but the socket mechanism is actually probably better on this one that it is um was it called a xenon Xeon yeah I mean you still got that plate in all but John TM why is why is nobody using cascade clean for X or C these days there's popular back so one of the big so Cascades I've had I've had one or two I have a friend that makes them too I have another friend that has had the same one for a while new um you know [ __ ] right a few G ger yeah yeah him he has a he's always big on the Cascade stuff but they're the problem with the the reason why most people don't run cascade anymore is because of the temperature it's not gonna just work dude oh you mean because you have all that eraser you need to move the eraser around yeah well remove the eraser finish your story I couldn't you mean you sidetracking me finish your story I'll do this so basically face changers only get down to a certain amount of temperature most get up down between one minus 120 and minus on the good side depending on how they're actually tuned I guess you can say it's a mix that the chemicals serve to balance in there I'm not one that designed them but they don't really get as cold as you need so liquid nitrogen is a little bit easier to set up and if you've ever seen a phase change they're loud especially on the dual cascades like so a regular phase change system only go down to about minus 30 to minus 50 depending on load a lot of those ones that were on the old ones can't handle the new stuff so even on a cascade they're extremely loud they need a consume a [ __ ] ton of power and they'll only get down through between minus 120 and minus 130 so for this technical you'll probably use it but it wouldn't be tuned as much as Ellen 2 is wow there's a lot of a register yeah I do it because I'm trying to get I know yeah but it's a pain to kind of open up that's kind of why I didn't want to do it I have a phone I just do a bunch of super chats so yes okay so you're well thanks for the stream bottom mousepad because we're not thank you for picking one up Lola Brea come and try and be efficient here with these last ones no message thank you the other one was stolen $20 thank you for cat angels and more Alan to give it directly to the ham if you're giving money to them I'm giving them more money throughout the year anyway so any money I'll make its way down for Alan - please don't mix the - yes we've all cats not a good mixture here for that stuff Simo is this good I seven money somehow you came 5.2 1.49 Oh Walt stable 82 degrees sells is one point four nines what is it really high 79 97 okay there's no at 149 and so here so that's not good so in the 90s 899 hundred K 9797 okay is that with high without like that's without ya so that's not really good at all that's probably one point four nine nine is way too high yeah so yeah I usually run anywhere from like 1 3 2 1 3 5 is that as my max for like a daily the 1 4 is kind of pushing it 1 4 9 is kind of I mean depending on your cooling I mean if you had really bad ass cooling right 82 C is really not bad on the cold side is low it's making you it is he's probably at one point four nine but is LLC that's what I was thinking probably crap you might want to lower that bolts in and make sure your L load line is different you want to have here because I bet that one four nine it's actually like one three eight yeah it's probably way lower yeah it's usually a typical problem most people don't realize that line affects the voltage zdg what CPU is it was thirty nine ninety X what about the out of the box thermals did Odin get his chicken nuggets yet and he says Andrew did you toss out that useless switch cooler yet I'm confused right nuggets I thought it was tots it is actually I'm good for yesterday is he watching us Andrew you forgot your present that we got in China for what okay thanks CG and just got a Mac shadow just like me I miss something yeah you did stream from like six months ago any chips that still good choice for gaming okay or is there better so for for gaming is kind of a weird phrase don't buy X 570 unless you need PCIe gen for that's all there is to it B 450 X 470 you'll save money that's the only different depends on the vrm right if you want like super good vrm for a competitive yeah than any okay yeah cuz the jenefor really doesn't buy you anything I don't know unless you're going with the hard drives but yes yeah though and that's tilted for SSDs max camacho what's the max bolts to OC a 3900 X for 24/7 config I think that's kind of debated and not particularly clear one for max yeah I mean you'll see people online saying like one three to five or something yeah I know I'd see one four two one four five pretty much fine it's the 7 nanometre is a voltage is a little bit different on it yeah so I'd say I don't really see an issue with sitting like four or five the thing is is if your temps are through the roof I like nine DC like 95 C then just lower it there's no reason to have it that I I feel I stopped feeling comfortable for recommendations for public 24/7 OC at like 135 or something right now yeah I don't really know so yeah the thing is is that to be honest these things aren't so the seven nanometers is it doesn't I guess it doesn't pull as much power I guess you can say so yeah it's more efficient yeah it's it's way more efficient when it comes to heat so you can set a little bit higher voltage on it compared to no you want to be a lower voltage on Sun - then Zen one I'm not talking about Davos okay yeah you want to be like a little below Zen one voltages below 1/4 ideally we haven't seen any degradation at 1/4 but I'm not gonna recommend it cuz I don't know like the problem is with this question it 1/4 might be different on that board well that's that but the real problem is if you're asking me a reviewer or any other reviewer what's a safe voltage the only answer we can get you is to go to people like at AMD or maybe overclockers and say what do you think is safe a lot of times that answers kind of a guess so because to actually get like we talked about earlier the engineers who would really know the answer probably haven't really tested for that because you're talking about longevity of a chip that's been in development for 18 months so to really know longevity especially when it's only been finalized the last few months it's not particularly easy so it's safe voltage is always so chip Phillip always like no no no let it go little no as long as it gracefully walls it's your board anyway most dates by bad guys Seagate sent me some 16 terabyte her testing funny part is the 10 terabyte has a metal housing to the 16 terabyte has a plastic housing wow that's weird Seagate wouldn't comment on what materials they use that is odd I'm kind of surprised hmm what not really yeah sock it wet you got some water yeah we're gonna light no it's kind of hard to see no I do see it yeah they're juicy little droplets there's like little droplets oh yeah I'm like okay it's really hard to see though yeah it's very hard to see so might've been water can you see that intro like if I move it around it's dropping the f4 right here so basically it's if you can look around there's moisture all build up there so that's basically killing what we've been doing in benching Adam Sherwin senior better rap Joe and bubble wrap so he doesn't get himself hurt just bought a mousepad came with a great khans oh thank you slacker I know Adam I almost threw sizes I'm just kidding I like that oh he's a good dude I'm gonna try and read through these quickly again go ahead continue clean it up yeah you got a pack soon anyway yeah I think it's almost time in the package yeah motorsports perhaps instead blank blank why not Heineken blank but but Veidt blank or even Sharona blank yes blank is weird you can't use on YouTube right now BC Chester are you getting clock blocked we did get clock block that five point out yeah unfortunately we had a little bit of moisture on get underneath the chip yeah then it'll be clear it doesn't it's not dad it's just it needs to be cleaned off a lot of times the water's not gonna kill it that's why like when you start to experience funky issues you press down stop yeah and this isn't our chip too so I want to be nice with it you know lauric please get some mods in here to shut these BOTS up yes we did end up getting someone in here I appreciate SATA for doing that because I'm BOTS your CNC hi both of you so of 5820k excellent and I wish they did CAD and cam should I upgrade my workstation I the quest the answer to that question as always are you happy with it now and it changes a little bit if you're making with it or if you're using it for fun so if it's the NPC and you're like I'm not happy with it but it's good enough and I'm not making money so it's hard to justify purchase a little bit of different answer if it's a workstation and you're doing CAD for money and it's slowing you down to the extent that you can't get your projects done as quickly as you might be able get more projects any time is money if you want it basically you have more time to go play yeah right I gotcha yeah it's worth it I mean it's that's my answer is it depends on if you're happy with it or not yeah dear Wilson if gloves are bad shouldn't you go without pants for Allen's you safety I've done it before they're in keep it up for science don't forget to keep having fun yeah it was a pretty good stream zeg did the YouTube algorithm block the 5k curtsy I figured did I think that was that's what it was for nine I'm happy with though zero wolf 99 your channel and info and videos it's one of the reasons I got my pc well that's awesome keep doing it so hey then my channel she'd be good to break your pc go check it out there cuz he's got some overclock and stuff over there zeg Odin playing with fire and ice something epic about that oh there's Ori $50 Wow thank you hi Steve please appoint some mods to deal with all the trash being posted in this chat uh hard to keep track yeah I don't even I wasn't even looking at chat during that but I did see that zeta got in there I guess next time I'll have to schedule for a mods that have to pay someone just sit there and actually do that cuz there's sometimes man I'll get nailed like it's when you have anywhere from five to six hundred concurred yeah I get this weird like bots that start coming in there yeah painless unfortunate there's not a lot not much you can do without a mod Indrajit sin good to see you someone else's idea but have you thought about putting a box over it we're almost through these over the board and to having some dry ice onto evaporating underneath yeah to push off the moisture problem is set up it can be a pain it's all sort of diagnosed I haven't felt I have done it I mean I've even stuck it in was a cold D what's that liquid there's a man Novak not Novick there's the other liquid the mineral mineral oil mineral oil the problem is it's messy if you ever done did that with mineral or any of that stuff when you gotta take it out it's nasty like it's like to be honest it's worse than Vaseline and I can't stay in Vaseline there was a cool video we did at Computex you you can find on the channel we did it 20 19 Elmore who worked for a C's for a while Elmore did a cool box like job for nitrogen yeah what do we do basically I forgot bucks yeah it's just a nice box pay so we had like a name yeah there was a name for it yeah John's cool dude I like Gomer I gotta talk to him because he'd if you want like some nerdy electronic stuff if you want to start modifying your cars and stuff he has I think it's Elmore Bob's if you go do yeah yeah yeah he's a good dude he's got some really cool stuff in there Elmore labs calm yeah he makes really cool like controllers and I think he'll do projects like if you have a project that you weren't done I think he can do it he does a contract contract so I mean he weren't phrases and most of the boards that you see out there for like the top AMD boards and top Intel boards he had a lot of help in Norma C got a couple more here Brad Reynold if you hadn't lapped the 64 core CPU what percent difference do you imagine there would be what do you think do you think it'd be different before I would yeah yeah without a doubt like even even so lapping this chip was just made a nice difference like it it's consistent yeah when your mounts are off it's hard to tell sometimes but that one seemed actually pretty decent on the 64 but you never know we like what you can't see with the eye you know yeah Sean Daly I know dielectric grease is no bueno for CPU wonder if it would be helpful in dim and PCIe slots or Apollo it's bad okay it what happens is it starts messing up the memory clocks okay and not only that like you'll start losing channels and stuff like I used to do it back in a day depending on the bench if you didn't have to worry about clocks but you start getting funny when you get in the clocks a lot of the times like if you have memory issues just even in a normal computer you need to clean the con tax so by putting Vaseline in there you're made you're kind of dirtying up the tax yeah you want to stay away from that Martin K could you submerge the board and oil and cool LT we just do it just to be honest like if I were to go to Computex or something it's just way too much setup and dirtiness that it's just to be honest it's probably not even worth it technical fool this might be this might cover the cost of the gallium to dissolve the BOTS yeah well we got taken care of I think I think there's still a mod in here I'm not sure else it depends I think I'm after Brian McCulloch well dielectric keep the moisture out we just did that one Andy good oh I just sorry I just bought a mouse pad could you have the score and speed from the stream when you sign I yeah the problem is you can't guarantee I don't know yeah we have someone else distribute notice oh I don't know where they're going once we're just gonna sign them I think sorry also I don't want to like write a bunch of stuff on it if someone only wants the signatures Abe Lincoln oh cool Wow they gave $5 that's fitting last time it was $4.99 I ribbed them for it here's some money for a moderator yes yes we got it faff about I can't be the only one thinking that it looks like so on tore down their quads and made them a GPU shroud for that 710 yeah that's Galax by the way known for those fish cards technical fool a bunch of people suggested a nitro atmosphere for keeping moisture out plastic box the pool of volunteers yeah yeah we're talking about doing vacuum I know Steve and I yeah some type of vacuum tank where you take out all the oxygen yeah and technically it does work but it's also a lot of setup you see how much stuff you have to go through and it's kinda when you get into little tight spaces and stuff it gets really annoying store guy know college game Abe Lincoln I may have missed it or using a gen for SSD no no we usually you stated fifties yeah the reason why is because a lot of the times they'll cause issues like so why weird running gen one yeah I be honest I should test I have it tested while the effects that it might have on like if it's going to the chipset it probably easy but you're gonna lose some speed right yeah and then but the thing is I'm not sure how it would affect the performance when you're going extremely a good test for a good video we have like maybe do that purpose you know these are the fewer measure six one four zero qua just something about you thank you Lola Breck what's your favorite pizza and toppings I'm not going to answer that because that is a common security question pizza yeah have you seen that one yeah it's a common bank security question you know I'm sorry right you set those out yeah so so next time what's like what's your mother's maiden name and I never get your first I never hear the real answer anyway that's wise so you can be whatever you want round about media is Joe oh yeah I got that one Brad Reynolds if this.c got that too okay cool haha are you missing them another repeats track mister and first CP is with their own pace rather than solder is there a risk of that paste cracking during XOC so paste under the IHS have you ever had that crack yeah and that's actually the more dangerous one a lot of guys yeah you get that crack a lot of times and it can be actually more dangerous I've seen it weird like say 6700 K or 7700 K or a 9900 K or 8700 Cade that level if you delete them and you literally go with a direct I a lot of times on liquid nitrogen if you wouldn't you get that crack oh I've seen it where it actually spiders the dye mm-hmm like will actually make the dye explode it's so crazy yeah you gotta be very careful for stuff like that even even the mounting of direct I like you'll see that there's a kind of like how do I explain this the direct eye mechanism he's very hard to set up and get right and it's very dangerous because it can you can too much pressure you will cry you will correct the chip and and a lot of those dives to the PCB is very very thin hmm ever since like the 7700 K the herbs I think 6700 K they're they're like but they were like potatoes yeah like I remember to be honest I had a world record shipped where it was breaking every record and and I accidentally I I pulled the whole Odin thing and basically I cleaned it down and it was like it was it literally like a chip like this yeah and basically yeah bad day and that happy but exterminator hey guys and I'm in the I'm the Micro Center account it's a legit result and we'll bbm verified verified know every link wish my second place - you guys know the one you know when you do with that though make sure you um so and not the only reason why that I said that might not be real was no you're talking about a different result always a different no but this evening stands for like when you're doing HW but put in the frequencies and stuff I mean people like to see a low that data don't just half-ass it I know at times it that the software on that site is kind of a yeah so I could see that my that could be a tooth like it's at forty to fifty that might even be real I don't know it might be real life yeah to be honest I thought I was at like thirty three thousand thirty three thousand nine that was at forty to fifty so when you were at 42 oh we didn't have Valerie's all when you're at forty one that was thirty thousand so that might be close might be about right be ya know whatever thing is that was I shouldn't say a valid I should say like we weren't sure if the forty to fifty number was the number that this yeah I was thinking it as lowers from bench in both the chips okay score differentials adios yeah does a GP a compression in PCIe by eight run faster versus by sixteen does GP compression and by eight run faster and one than by sixteen I'm assuming you're asking about like you think I don't know exactly what that's asking compressing stuff files Emma sounded like a compressing like a benchmark room yeah I'm confused on that one the luggage were in the last we're at the cutoff why I said 325 I think what's your thoughts on the PBO bug with disabled C states and set UDC equals one for higher boosts I haven't even heard about it I've been too busy something I get it working yeah you get it - Katsuji our bow always with watching your content got you all run in the background a while working on Oh didi BSOD or sod BS I was reading like optical disc drive OD the optical disc drive vs Rd with fast food or odd in other words yeah I like streams for background contest that's always cooling I always get it from like out my streams there people are like yeah it's nice to have like the noise in the background yeah like when when they're run-ins yeah I get that too like you know it's I know I have cable anymore but sometimes you just leave the TV running just so it's yeah there's some noise right that's what I do pretty much Terrell son your SST wasn't plugged in the I use those yeah yeah and so if you don't realize on the SSD I unplug it and the reason why is I don't want to go yeah dude some boards like that do not work it drives me absolutely not and that's gonna be a look that's it for the super chat so we got all those we got to do a stream recap video we're gonna film that and then we have to do signing MOUs pads and stuff and get Joe packed and get Josie back to the airport to quickly recap at the end so I know people are gonna jump to the end of the archive to catch it quick numbers stock full stock above ambient temperatures was twenty four thousand six forty three or four the score I'm gonna read all of them so we'll be quick the 4.0 all core at 1.5 volts and then man was thirty eight hundred fourteen fourteen fourteen forty to eighty nine one T at a thousand watts that was twenty nine thousand five thirty seven then there was a thirty thousand eighty eight for a four point one at minus point five degrees Celsius there was a thirty two thousand nine eighty six minus fifty four point five gigahertz and no other changes we eventually hit 33 879 at 4.7 gigahertz minus ID eight and then you closed out at four point nine gigahertz yeah that's what memory started having because and then even like between - 100 - 120 was just absolutely I couldn't get even running like the old for any porn ah yeah who's just so he did get one score it was 35,000 155 which is a second score at minus 120 4.9 gigahertz 1.55 new vaults and 3,800 3,800 I'm all the other same so yeah that's the quick version of the stream but lots of fun definitely appreciate you all joining the watch subscribe to bearded hardware on YouTube he's links below in the description and you can catch you filmed couple things here that will be up on his channel yep so why don't they go rude hardcore with it now yeah now I have some time off work so it's now it's that's the time to play yeah so yeah thanks for watching guys that'll be it and we will see you all next time
