just such a like I want to like have a therapy session with that kid like I don't know anyways but we [ __ ] love that dude we like watching his videos and Lucas memorizes out randomly it's gotta be funny and then and then he dudes like dude the Brandon Taylor challenge and we're like trying to come up with a name we're like the brennentaylor outro challenge and he was like no that's not an with these guys I'd be a comedy god like they would love it all it takes is like a champagne bottle in your mouth of crack up every time like dude like adopt me into your [ __ ] crew I'll blow your goddamn Maya yes yeah so it's just kind of like double to in my mouth bucket pudding yeah I did I'd love to watch them brennentaylor with you man it's it's interesting there's there's plenty of people that are eat like I don't know if you ever seen this kid danny gonzalez in a video about this kid paul Zoomer yeah yeah show me yours then you were on that text ad and I was like this dude you should have done it is the weirdest person I know I thought Cody should've done it first Oh God that's like--that's actually I'm not afraid to say that's bad that's kids don't watch that it's not good it's a 24 year old guy just I don't even understand it's dark in Italy it's dark yeah yeah it's true like it just makes me feel it's like the same feeling I get when you watch when you when you watch those weird fucked-up kid videos on YouTube that are like yeah I guess the eerie it's like clearly like its manipulation something else is going on it's manipulation and it's there so not good at hiding it yes it's very strange yeah and we're [ __ ] yeah I'm a bunch of theories about that dude oh yeah I just think like yeah for every there's just people that are like 80 times as bad as and brennentaylor I feel like that's what happens when you're making like this is yeah that's the whole log compulsion is exactly why when you're making content every day or whatever the [ __ ] it is sometimes you just have to like laugh at a champagne bottle and because it's like two there's not enough content it's true but like it could get healthy if you're gonna like post hey it's just like I don't know it's like I say try harder but who knows maybe he's giving it his all and it just doesn't come across that way but yeah if you're gonna make if you have a big audience it's like it's a [ __ ] slap in the face if you're not trying yeah it's like come on there's so many people would kill that the audience who would do like a great job yeah and if you're just not it's [ __ ] trying it's just like [ __ ] off like yeah you're wasting people's times like in the worst kind of way yeah like it's just I can't like imagine posting [ __ ] and like oh you know this will do like that's just like what like I don't know I've like a weird like moral thing against like posting bad [ __ ] posting bad [ __ ] when it's the cook person who posted it clearly knows it's like whatever yeah I don't know I guess you gotta pay your bills I guess no I'd no I think that makes a lot of sense there's an interesting balance between especially on YouTube it's never used to happen with with like I don't know other social media [ __ ] but it's like when you're when you're when it's directly related to how much money you're making people just feel a pressure to like half to post things and yeah but yeah you see like it's directly correlated the amount you posts the amount you views you get yet out of money you go see your bank account that's unhealthy it is when it comes to art exactly exactly and the thing is like media is it was always supposed to be art and now it's like not like I mean I don't know media has always been like motivated I can everything's everything's economically like motivated like no movies made like just fun yeah 99.99% of time but like it just it's just yeah this platform of anyone can do anything is just like it's really crazy what there's it just it's breeds some of the worst worst content ever and some of the best I love social media like it's [ __ ] awesome it's so fun yeah yeah but it's created similar just the worst [ __ ] ever also what are you working on because I know like are you do I know you vlog like a little bit but like II I do I have any plan to like yeah I'm trying to with Finn I'm we have a TV show and a feature that we're trying both to produce the feature we want to shoot sometime in October hopefully and the show we don't know when the [ __ ] but this show is like it's hard because it's like all about social media and like it's gonna be a long time till we get it made and like we want the idea to stay relevant no yeah that's weird yeah okay yeah it's about this dude who wants to set out to get a million followers in 30 days otherwise he's gonna kill himself oh Jesus father the idea is like like like like Jake our Logan Paul before they were Jake or Logan Paul yeah before they're just some regular dude for yeah Ohio yeah wherever they're from I feel like someone someone is gonna do that right I know someone has to do that right because so many people have [ __ ] up that story and it's a [ __ ] great story like just exploring the mind of someone like that yeah if like in it I want to be famous but I don't care how it happens like that's just such an interesting you go like yeah yeah that's and it's like what we use a combination of what we just talked about like the daily [ __ ] posting more quantity over quality like that is you in this sort of monster face the worst kind of kind of yeah and ever it just creates all these like [ __ ] 15 minute videos that are just gonna like you're just gonna lose brain cells from watching yeah yeah and I [ __ ] watch him I watch see okay actually Jacob Logan Paul's content is like not it's like not as bad as people paint it out to be like they're cringy sure and like they're douchebags but like it's edited there's a theme teach video they go out and do stuff like yeah it's big at least [ __ ] trial yeah and like I mean what they're not the best influence on kids but I mean I like at least respect them for like understanding like we can't just [ __ ] like yeah like just kick on four shirts that's like not enough yeah yeah I mean I don't know I don't know if I'd give him too much credit because at the end of the day it's the editor creating the narrative hundred percent 100 percent understand the what they've realized which I can give them respect for it is you just got to be loud and animated that's what they do really [ __ ] yeah as long as they go about their day and they do something remotely interesting and they're loud and animated the narrator the editor is gonna take that he's gonna add the narrative and it becomes a video yeah that is true you know what I'm really interested in is that guy Brendan who films all of Logan Paul's blogs I wonder how much of a hand he has in what they are everyday cuz Logan so busy he's like filming movies and [ __ ] all the time I feel like that dude is the director of Logan Paul vlogs do you think so and I think he's like Logan today we're doing this today we're doing that today we're doing this and he edits them in Logan's just like this the vessel like and I I really feel like I want to know how much that do makes like in my met better dude UK hell with him one time yeah really what's your like first moved to LA I don't know he seems like it yeah and I said wait it was only one night or it maybe I saw him twice or something I was like seeing this girl that he was friends with and so we would just like kind of hang out in a group or whatever and he was first moved to LA and had like no no person was basically you know yeah I don't know wasn't friends with looking for anything no no no it was just like hey I'm a photographer like he was working with this girl that I was seeing and he was like he was you know kind of like trying to make his way through LA or whatever and then and then you know fast-forward stop seeing the girl fast-forward like whatever it's been now like a year and I [ __ ] like I think stumble onto his page again or something it was like 10 million [ __ ] what happened how did you like what was that his kids like obviously got some sort of hustle where he's like you got to make that happen yeah yeah definitely definitely and I truly wonder if he started interrupt but I truly wonder if he actually like if you watch Logan polished it was like yeah this is a good dude I want to work for this kook guy or if he was just like well this is money chances are this is I'm guessing yeah I don't know yeah it was just really weird to see that kid all of a sudden and then to see him in the dead-body video like dude I was like oh man this is insane and you know what's funny about that that like kind of like weirded me out a bit was that um like after that like it was horrible like you it was really crazy that he [ __ ] did that and and I feel like everyone was like kind of like stoked like and I don't mean to like accuse people of like I mean I'm sure a lot of people were like genuinely just like [ __ ] freaked out and like dude you're a dick but like I think everyone saw like this whole new think can't like piece of content they can make and it was weird to see everyone jumping on that bandwagon yeah hey I'm guilty of that too per second I'm guilty of it and I try to like just do the opposite this [ __ ] was funny yeah who cares like this guy is like kind of [ __ ] the more attention you give him the better it is for him you're not he built a cult you're not gonna be able to like take down his cult yeah he's gonna [ __ ] and now dude it just worked out so well for him he's gonna be gone for two weeks he's gonna come back and when his entrance cuz he's been a ghost since he's not he got a [ __ ] vacation yeah like and he's gonna come back and it's gonna be huge so like he made himself like so weirdly relevant and like he's I don't know what he's gonna do but he's gonna like this is just gonna he'll be fine I don't know man I'm like kind of an optimist in this situation not for him but for that yeah it'll wreck him well I think it's not not gonna wreck him so obviously not gonna recommend looking his [ __ ] followers is all they did is go up yeah yeah the socialblade was depressing I know a few days after that was like his best day all month what I think is that it's like a wake-up call for him a little bit and even if we don't see it it's it's like people like Aaron Paul tweeting being like your piece of trash if this kid is trying to make it in Hollywood right like that's his main thing sure you vlog every single day and you're making a [ __ ] ton of money but a day like Kimmel show man he wants to act right like yeah that's what I'm saying it is for his like people that I'm sure he looks up to to call a piece of trash publicly that has to do something he's not just going to all men they're a hater Aaron Paul's were all the most respected actors right now yeah yeah how are you gonna just dismiss that it might like well I'm just gonna keep doing me haters gonna hate dude cuz [ __ ] he built a cult and at the end of the day do trust me like like people care about like yeah like you don't want to [ __ ] with any one of the battery up but like everything's economically based and he literally has like a million like promised like people who are gonna buy whatever it is he makes he's always enough people having to do projects with him I know it's that I mean the easiest way to like become that like secures to like build a cold like that mm-hm and he's done it like really well he's a smart guy I know yeah sex well I'm interested to see what his comeback video will be yeah what's up guys what's up suicide themed videos yes I recently watched your films the one you did the ones you did when you were younger yeah yeah the one of them minimum max yeah the other one is called two and a quarter to that was about suicide right that's funny because a lot of people thought that and I was like like to me it was just like the idea of like having a dream that changed your perspective on something in like the the pool was like just to raise the stakes in my head and I and everyone takes that away from in school because like it's open for interpretation yeah but when I wrote it I never I never I never had that in mind actually really yeah huh yeah and everyone's like yeah I like suicide is the whole thing and like people a lot of people who said it really touched them and that like yeah I mean I could see it which is about having hope and like you'll predict the future and and you know no no moment say you it will hope do you live for two days like it's funny like I was like accidentally just like a better writer when I was younger like I would I would like come up with visuals and like just like a theme and kind of and just be like yeah like in [ __ ] like it's crazy so many bleep like minimum acts I like didn't even have a script I just like filmed and recorded like whatever I was feeling like no way ya know I was no script to that no I I knew what I hadn't wanted working with was like someone I admired yeah and I was like I just want to not [ __ ] up yeah and um and then by the last day it was just like it totally faded and just like as soon as I don't know as soon as yet you realize everyone everyone recognizes you know me as a person I guess yeah you know and you just feel like part of the team yeah yeah I mean and also like in traditional media like social media people have like kind of a I feel like a better app yeah yeah they're like they're planning on not liking you I feel like they have like a preconceived idea that you're like oh you're an Internet guy yeah it's kind of interesting now changing a little bit it is it's getting better it's like it's not you got a technologist now it's like it's too big like it's like there's such a huge audience for well here's what I found with just like the it went through a period where like all of a sudden people like alright we have to give [ __ ] acting jobs to these people we have to get them in Hollywood because if it's an audience in blah blah blah right mmm and because influencers are brewing so many projects now we're at a point where it's actually a disadvantage if you're if you're like a genuinely talented person which I'm not saying I am but I'm just saying now when I walk in a pitched room like we pitched a TV or a show recently to to like pop TV or something like that and and or some some other major networks and they all like some of them wouldn't even we couldn't even get the meeting because they were like no this kids an influencer wow that's a negative thing wow I did that sucks isn't that crazy it is crazy dude and like I think yeah like the things that you'd want to be in like they won't give you attention they're like but if I bet if it was like 13 reasons why or something they like throw [ __ ] influencer in there I don't know I mean that's why it's like you got a I mean Jimmy Tatro pretty much you know having like a breakout like that where it's like all right today I was like jealous for that dude I was just like this is such a good idea it's so good it was so funny a dude and I was like dude I'm a [ __ ] kid like they didn't Maya other like filmmaker buddies live in San Diego and we were all like sitting around like and [ __ ] talking about it one day and my friend Jackson was just going on this ring he's like dude I'm a [ __ ] they shot it in his high school like in the same [ __ ] city of Sim he's like see this is I won't I wish I did this [ __ ] project and he's just like it was funny but yeah it's a great it's a great [ __ ] show they're doing a season two yeah yeah I saw that that's [ __ ] I'm home for that dude he's gonna I don't know what they're gonna do yeah yeah yeah Jimmy teachers funny you were on that thing with him how was that it was so much fun dude I mean those episodes every week really yeah yeah really dude there's a new one me too man I was so stoked there Tony they were funny he's yeah he told me he's working on his season two or they like done writing his season two I think he's just basically like either trying to fund it or like okay does he eat does he have a hand in writing it or no he wrote it he wrote the first season in that show real bros let some evaluation what are you talking about I thought you'd switch back to American band real have we been timeout real bros this whole time no no no okay and then real bros it seemed email yeah yeah yeah okay that's cool how would it get produced the first time uh he just funded the whole thing well out of pocket wow you were talking about he hired that production company that i think he works with like pretty often and they produced the whole thing and now he I think his done writing season two at least that's what I've heard I don't know do you know how much money he put in this season one there's no I I got no idea but he definitely didn't make it back I don't think like Cassini was putting out he's putting that [ __ ] I wrong with social media in those two seconds it's so weird I could see him being spiteful towards cuz dude that man has not gotten enough like like influence like his stuff is the funniest [ __ ] ever and it's popped off like there's so he has like you know a lot of subscribers interviews but they each one of those videos needs to have like millions millions reviews and they don't and like they're so funny like yeah he deserves way more [ __ ] can you win it now he's like in an Amazon commercial you said I did you that actually it's all over like Netflix or something bath boys deserves I guess more like credit I guess okay I never I never I mean then you thought I'd show they're so funny really yeah I think their videos are [ __ ] hilarious all of them he was in some Netflix movie and then of like getting the meetings getting like and it takes so much time because like Finn is really the one who has all those connections and he's just shooting things for like the next like ten months so whenever he has time we will go and meet with some people and just gonna take a while but um how'd you meet him I met him through vine really yeah he really liked my videos I'm fine and you know like I saw that he treated much of him when I was like yo you're [ __ ] I'd seen seen someone I was like you're great and he's just like hey man like I love your videos whatever you're so funny and we started talking and we just hit it off dude he's just like back he's one of the funniest [ __ ] I've ever met - really yeah he's ridiculous man like he's it's I was like a weird I was a lucky like match honestly cuz it we have like such the same style of comedy and like that a lot of people don't have and it's like it's I don't know who's he from here - no he's from Vancouver okay really he's Canadian yeah no one [ __ ] shoutout Jesus yeah yeah that's dope and yeah that's crazy you guys you guys are good together I watched the music video you guys directed oh yeah yeah no thank you hey how was that like uh it was um it was really fun it was really fun it's kind of stressful because like my first time our first time directing something like that big and he's been on [ __ ] gigantic sets but like he had never like directed something like that and it was a little bit stressful but it was [ __ ] mostly fun I look back on it now and I was just like dude that was the funnest [ __ ] ever and during the time I was doing it I was like [ __ ] so stressed out really yeah that's crazy yeah and I was like a real it was like a real like yeah man is your did you have a budget for that it was we raised $13,000 I'm pretty sure really yeah damn and it we'd shot over the course of four days holy [ __ ] yeah I mean turned out fantastic you thank you so much yeah and you better did it I did wrong and like it you just have to [ __ ] deal with it and it's funny how that like it's just the most unpredictable [ __ ] it never works out perfectly I know and you'll never know what's I mean not that I've directed anything but like just now that I've been on set you know if they're in a fair amount of times and now that Noel he did his own film right and this [ __ ] he was telling me about the things that went wrong I was just like oh my god and then the things I went right that they got like really lucky yeah yeah - I said like the yeah it's the scenes in that that I thought well I was on set like wow I just butchered that came out like some of the best and it's weird no no yeah like the last scene of it was like it was the last thing we shot the party scene and I remember thinking within like dude like it I like it wasn't good enough and end up being like it might being the coolest part really yeah yeah did you like miss any shots that you wanted to get or anything like yeah I didn't get enough coverage yeah and [ __ ] it was a sag it was a SAG production so at time was up everyone had to go I couldn't work the kids any longer [ __ ] that sucks yeah but it turned out great hard like it was the worst thing I ever made and then I was just like you know [ __ ] it I'm just gonna make it was I had one day before the festival and I was like [ __ ] it like I'm just gonna like I'm still mad right now I'm just gonna film about how shitty of a student I am and how much like I've just [ __ ] hate high school and how [ __ ] taking these pills is making me go nuts and I just film that [ __ ] in one day and and did the voice over and my aunt posted it on like um [ __ ] uh it was on it's called it's called reddit okay yeah and uh and it just blew up anyway dude yeah I that Williams went over there and was like [ __ ] you know and I think they were still there in the process of trying to make me delete or something and I don't I remember telling my parents like I'll leave the school before I delete the video like I'm never I'm never undoing that success like that'd be the dumbest mistake and um yeah I don't know I ended up getting expelled I don't remember I think II defended me and then I get I'm never getting expelled a little after that how'd you go dude is a long story and it's a great story I'll tell it um okay [ __ ] and this we're trying to write a what is he saying why is he denying that his phone is his phone just let him have your phone and delete the photos and just go and apparently like what happened was I don't know really what happened though this way he told me afterwards that he opened it up and it the first thing that came up was a Google search for I ate an entire edible what do I do and and then there was there was group and then they went through his messages to find the [ __ ] picture cuz they're like right you're high Jesus and he said he didn't rat on me I believed him he's a [ __ ] great guy I don't think you ever did that what what happened was um they can go through your [ __ ] messages go through [ __ ] it is such a [ __ ] up invasion of privacy [ __ ] and [ __ ] there's just this group message apparently of all everyone in this class because you had that class with a bunch of his friends and they're like bro you look like [ __ ] what's up and he's like Josh with what he was co-ed of all so they literally were like Josh the kid and they're like Jesus Christ it's something like literally walk next door and I go things just got a whole lot worse and I knew I was just like and this time they came in with this dude with a notepad when it's Sudan and they kept me in there for 30 minutes alone and now this guy sits down in the corner and navigator and no he's not saying anything but Dean's interrogating me he's just sitting there like this [ __ ] writing [ __ ] I'm saying down due to high school it doesn't need to be that seriously what the [ __ ] are you doing that was the end of my life stood in in it really like that's cool [ __ ] with me in such a bad way and dude it was on April 1st they call my parents and they're like yo your kid student your son's been caught with drugs I can't be seen you come pick him up they're like oh my mom is like on my on our way to pick me up she's like real funny Josh I'm already on my way like funny April Fool's they're like no like it's real and she like [ __ ] freaked out did she did they knew you did they know you smoke weed no no that's okay so this was just like the worst that's sucks yeah it sucked but um what happened was is I ended up going to UM independent studies because I got kicked out halfway through that year and um I went to school for 45 minutes every day and my parents were so pissed at me they're like we're not picking you up till 12:00 do your [ __ ] homework and I would get there at 8:00 and be out of class by 8:45 and I just sit around till [ __ ] twelve and I can do whatever I can walk down the street whatever and I would sit in the parking lot and make vines all day oh that's that's why oh that's really looks any of my first minds I'm always sitting in a parking lot somewhere yeah that's why that was that damn so it was a blessing in disguise it was the best thing that ever happened to me man like great that's a great lesson yeah man it one day once one door closes data [ __ ] three Wolf's so much and I met I
