all right good day to you god bless you welcome to the Shepherd's chapel well but welcome to this family Bible study our praise God how wonderful it is to be able to have counsel directly from our father a lot might say well how in the world can we do that is word these are his words you might have had family and others reporting you might have had Moses riding but it was our Father that gave instructions as to what would be written his word his counsel a lot of people go through life wondering what in the world will I do go to him go to his word you don't have one problem that the answer isn't right here and by the time you dig it out you'll have be loaded down with so much good counsel that you want you rarely will you be in trouble that there'll be troubles rise but you'll stop them before they get a grip on you that's your father's counsel you can't beat it we thank them for it we ask a word of wisdom in the name of Yeshua Messiah Jesus amen okay real short recap we have had two keys and a third now on the scene the first day of the first two appointed by God and this third one was not appointed by God he appointed himself and when you get one of these self-appointed men friends you got trouble there they're on an ego trip self-centered usually not too much compassion for the people other than making points with them but God help you if you are ever in trouble and really need wise counsel from one of them if you can't do them any good any more you understand what I mean if they're through with you they're through with you now what point then should we observe in this lecture and as much as we have seen these three types we saw observed Saul David and now Absalom self-appointed I want you to note that as David makes them very wise I respect David great deal for the decision he may admire him a great deal for the decision he made here rather than staying in Jerusalem and causing his own people to fight each other and shed blood he left so that Absalom could have his day why God said it would happen it was God himself and David knew it that was causing Absalom to do these things though you know a lot of people don't need a great deal of help from God when God allows so David left the city to prevent a great deal of bloodshed and he simply said to a couple of the priests go back stay with the Ark listen to the Word of God and when he wants me I'll be there if he doesn't want me fine you know I wanted it in God's hand I want his will I'm sure that please God a great deal now as these are beginning to separate and so forth the the deliverer calm spies I suppose we could that Traverse back and forth one of them approaches and he says in this fifteenth chapter verse 31 let's pick it up us go with it reporting to David and one told David saying a hit the Bell is among the conspirators with Absalom see a hyssop l was one of David's well close the visors close associates he can count on him he thought but he found out he was a traitor and he was conspiring against David and David said Oh Lord I pray he turned the counsel of a hit FL into foolishness and here I suppose in a ways named because the hyssop fell means of the mind of the foolish and certainly he had a foolish mind 32 and it came to pass that when David was come to the top of the Mount where he worshipped God this is no doubt was the peak of the mount there on that we're still there on now all of that as you'll notice from verse 30 usually as you noticed in our documentary from Albuquerque on that hidden mountain the highest point of the highest elevation of the top of that mountain had an altar with the name yahweh the greatest written remember well it was such a place that they worshiped at the very height or symbolic and symbolic only of as near as they could get to him on that mountain so it was a place of worship for him behold hew shy and that means in the Hebrew tongue hastening hastening hew ie our kite came to meet him with his coat rent and earth upon his head and our kite means length furlong and maybe his journey had been long that doesn't have anything to do with his name but he's sorry for the condition of David 33 unto them David said if thou passes on with me and say if you travel with me then thou shalt be a burden unto me in other words you cannot be of a great deal of service with me compared to what you would be if you went back all right he wants some ears in the camp in other words by burden when it's translated it looses it doesn't mean in the sense of the idea that he would be a bother or anything of that nature in relationship to how much good he could do David compared there to back in Absalom scamp in Jerusalem would be very minor 34 but if thou returned to the city and say unto Absalom I will be thy servant O king as I have been thy father's servant hitherto so will I now also be thy sir then mayor style for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel in other words he he was he was hurt and struck because one of his very own had turned Gotti one that was in a position of council an elder one that should have known better so David's actory and he sends this one so that he knows right to the and he knew that he knew that this one hew shot could would Absalom would allow him to go right to the top right to the the Kings highest council or advisors 35 and has found not there with these the doc the priest and abaya thought remember David had already sent those two priests ahead to feed information back to David as the priests question therefore it shall be that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the King's house thou shalt tell it to zadok and abiathar the priest 36 and behold they have there with them their two sons a Hymas as the dock son and jonathan a by ather son and by them he shall send unto me everything that you can hear that's a spy network that's what's called a covert operation god style of course it would seem that leftist don't have they do you know they it's all a new thing to them our people have practiced covert activities from the very beginning even in the Garden of Eden so to speak with the Jacob and Esau Jacob pulled a very covert act against Esau and had God's blessings to protect our people I just thought I'd throw that in for passing good sake there you know I think God for one thing they're going to be left is put out of offices because of what's happening in this nation right now by Christian people from God's Word showing they have not a leg to stand on and it pleases me very much and it pleases your father very much verse 37 and you shine David's friend came into the city and Absalom came into Jerusalem all right well we see there then that this the stage is set and we're ready to go a little further now what will God show you in this you have one king in position in Jerusalem he was self-appointed now you listen to me closely your father wants you to know that any time one person self appoints themselves you've always got a multitude of underlings that will begin to self appoint themselves through whatever betterment they can bring to pass for them by hook or crook you got it by hook or crook we begin was a fine example of it chapter 16 verse 1 and when David was a little past the top of the hill behold Ziya remember him nice man one of Saul's servants ziba the servant of the thibaux set remember mephibosheth Jonathan's son that's David that promised he would take care of met him the servant met him with a couple of asses saddled and upon them two hundred loaves of bread and in hundred branches bunches rather of raisins and a hundred of summer fruits and a bottle of wine won't be big deal eight till we're out in the wilderness the people are hungry this has got to be good news right wrong well we'll wait now what do you mean long here we have a servant that David is why he's been loyal to David he's taken care missa thibaux sets of land he has made it prosper for them yeah there's just a little thing going on here though friend that you need to know about could it be that deep down in his own mind now he's going to turn traitor on the fit of theft and try to get in good enough with the king that the king will give him fall land and he will be a ruler indeed self-appointed through covert action to asses loaded with wine and raisin cakes and bread out on the hill where there are a few possessions man it's got to be good news verse three and the King said and where is thy master's son his master of course was Saul and the Sun was mephibosheth up and Ziva said unto the King behold he abideth at Jerusalem for he said today shall the house of Israel restore mean the kingdom of my father the loaf Jonathan's son this boy that was lame this liar and he is a liar za biased though he was he had been a good man until this time he's agreed got him you see a little Eagle trip no it would be real easy out on that hill with him having to asses loaded with bread and wine and summer fruit that's to say cakes of raisins could have been watermelons summer fruit was sometimes called that and it was used to refresh people on travelers but be that as it may good stuff all right my good friend let me ask you never judge someone until you hear both sides of the story regardless of how good it may look all that refreshing vital food foods that I'm sure was appreciated because men were hungry and from a man that was trusted but anytime he brings you a contrary report on a person that you know has been loyal to you totally and completely just because someone says they are disloyal test the fruit of the individual and don't go by hearsay you understand that it's so important in this life some people will listen to gossip and take it as gospel and they became they become evil within themselves and fall totally away from God because they will make a judgment against an innocent person at the mouth of a fool well who's the fool anybody that will gossip is a damn fool they're damned because it is a sin of sins I'm speaking of malicious gossip gossip that stings gossip that hurts well the Bible says call nobody fool well if you understand the Greek right real good you'll find that it doesn't say exactly that it says anytime that someone will rid someone of any at all spiritual hope that you shouldn't do that but to call someone foolish as we use the word in English is quite legitimate don't listen to gossip and do not judge until you hear both sides well people aren't supposed to judge we're not talking about judging unto death that belongs to God and God alone but as to who you will believe or disbelieve you have to make that judgment that's a part of life cybers lying like a dog remember the 19th chapter and the 24th verse when we get there and let Mephibosheth to speak for himself he's been good to David to this point he will continue to be where as baba has turned into a self-appointed hypocritical liar on an ego trip that's what I mean friend when one thing begins in a community it grows and spreads like wildfire that's the lesson your father wants you to learn from this that's that part of that key to David that you must follow another little notch on and put it away of things you must not do and that's judge on one side of a story for first floor of chapter 16 then said the King Josiah behold thine are all that pertain earth unto mephibosheth and cybo said I only beseech thee that I might find grace in the side of my lord o king I just hope that you'll remember me and he knew the king would there just be one problem the king will find out he was lying five and when King David came to bear Hyrum hewn bottom this is low grounds or it could even be for behold thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul it is strange how God arranges thing here we've just had group Saul's grandson Jonathan's son Saul's Jonathan being the son of Saul we have a Benjamite come out and David could have wrought real easy really been disturbed concerning the thither Seth here especially when this one of Benjamin Saul's old person comes out out the family of the house of Saul whose name was Jimmy I which is to say renowned the son of gear up now that's a grain grain he came forth and he cursed still as he came he came he was cussing all the way in Kherson David six and he cast stones at David and all the servants of the King David I mean just lot torrent of hail of stones pouring from this man and and a torrent of curses coming from his mouth that David and the people and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right and on his left I mean the real troops those chair fights gathered in with their battle axes and shields they gathered around David and they were ready for the order let us let us cucumber him right here that means fly seemed like a cucumber seven and thus said semi I one man by himself when he cursed come out come out they'll bloody man and thou man of Belial didn't what a bloody man is in Hebrew you murderer that's true David was a murderer and unfortunately Belial he kind of listened old Satan through this lust a little bit absolutely true verse 8 the Lord this is this binge of my speaking friend these words are coming out of his mouth the Lord has returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul in his stead thou hast reigned and the Lord have delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son and behold thou are taken in thy mischief because thou art a bloody man you're our murderer and do you know what those that's true also and do you know something else that's true God told a man to say it God told the man to curse to cut him out good I mean if it were fully translated to English of today I know some of you softies may just rotate like a rabbit on a spit when I say that but that still doesn't change the fact that it's true God told him to cuss told him to cuss me are good but to let every be the truth for God had already cursed team Fred we read it two or three times this is part of it coming to truce by coming to public clearly here that he's to be ridiculed by Israel itself and all because of the sin of this one David that's one reason I admire David for not making a stand at the time he would have there in Jerusalem whereby innocent lives were saved and yes he must take this ridicule because David knows where it's coming from not from this individual not from this poor creature poor man but from God himself that's God cursing David first night and then said ever Sai Sai the son of their UI up this is to say his nephew unto the king why should this dead dog cursed my lord the king question let me go over I pray thee and take off his head and Abba Shah could have done it any no problem he could have done it with one sweep no problem at all what does David answer is he going to put up with it like a barking dog at his heels throwing rocks peppering him downright real good ten and the King said what have I to do with you do you remember Christ's words to Peter when Peter said do you want let's get us a bunch of soldiers and lob off their heads Peter drew his sword remember Jesus said what have I to do with you get behind me Satan remember the words what have I to do with you you sons of service sir you I I that's David's sister so let him curse let him do it let him curse because the LORD hath said unto him curse David who shall then say wherefore hast thou done so which one of you with God Himself telling this man to cuss David the cursing decreasing good is going to stand in the way of the man doing it fulfilling God's word do you want to bring more curses down upon us see David is paying his he's taking his chest Iseman and when God comes down on you you must do the same when you know of a certainty and you will when God is correcting you say thank you Father 11 and David said to a beside and to all his servants behold my son which come forth of my bowels seeketh my life how much more now may this Benjamite do it let him alone and let him curse for the lord has bidden him God has told Yahweh has told him to do it you know that's here you have a king the one appointed by God that's letting a commoner cussing like a dog cursing like a dog does that sound better I want I'm a communicator and I want to make sure the point is made Cuffy God told him to do it and here we have this one day that umbly saying forgive him for it's not he that does it the same as Christ's words on the cross forgive them father they know not what they do he knew it was Almighty God and I'm sure that our Father loved David for that for at one of these severus times to have this man yelling curses at him he was able to maintain his mind at a level whereby he could just ly proceed about his father's business how about you how about you know he had I assure you I don't want to set though I don't want to get an overkill here and have some of these people that want somebody just customs you just say forgive them no no I know that isn't what the message is here at all if somebody comes up cursing you and your family for no reason decking decking Christians are not some people servants of God are not supposed to be second-class citizens this is a different story God told the man to curse David David has it coming if you've got it coming take it friend if you don't don't put up with it you understand that's where Christians get all they only have a one-track mind ah somebody needed that I don't know it was I just thought I'd throw that in for good measure if you got a good curse incoming and you know God sent it take it if not put a stop to it quick 12 it may be david says it may be that the Lord will look on mine affliction and that the house will that the Lord will require requite rather my me good for his cursing this day it may be that God will say I wouldn't want to serve Him that I've repented and that I'm sorry 13 and as David and his men went by the way they continued down this trail shiney I this man that was cursing went along on the hillside over against him right there at beside David David moving along and cursed as he went and threw stones at him and cast dust I mean he was just like a banty rooster against that army kicking up rocks and dirt and the the foul words flying as he cursed David for all he was worth and David humbly rode along and took it because his sins we're being brought to their fullest and pavement was being made by this one David I respect him for that a great deal and when a person can be humble at a time like that my dear friend they have repentance in their heart and our Father doesn't miss it 14 and the King and all the people that were with him came weary and refreshed themselves there 15 meanwhile back at the stead and Absalom and all the people the men of Israel came to Jerusalem and a HIPPA fell with him enter the false King enter the type a we could even say of the false Christ in Jerusalem right city wrong man self-appointed Satan self appoints himself and he's the Prince of beauty 16 and it came to pass when hew IV archite David's friend was coming to Absalom that few Shai said into Absalom God saved the king God saved the king I praise you I praise you he's playing the part well but his loyalty to David it is unshaken 17 and Absalom said to you sha is this thy kindness to thy friend remember he's talking about his father is this thy kindness you're buttering me up to my dad why witness thou not with thy friend why didn't you go with him 18 and you shy said unto Absalom nay but whom the Lord and this people and all the men of Israel choose his will I be and with him will I abide she passed an adversary in the byway agree with him when a false Jesus appears on the screen 19 and seeing also and again whom should I serve should I not serve in the presence of his son after all you're his son as I have served in thy father's presence so will I be in thy presence and no one could question fuchsias loyalty to the family but Absalom should have because he was just so loyal that his loyalty still maintained with the true king appointed by God not this would be self-appointed hypocrite verse 20 then said Absalom to a high Savelle I hid the felt give counsel among you what we shall do remember what David's already put a curse on this one man of foolish words here they come 21 and a hit FL set into epsilen go in unto thy father's concubines remember he had left ten and there their maids and concubines with them though fifteen sixteen however many maybe twenty which he had left to keep the house and all Israel shall hear that thou art a hold of thy father then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong in other words his counsel this foolish woman was go on in to his wives and then they will know you intend to carry this beyond the point of no return because you see dear friend according to Leviticus 18 8 to uncover your father's nakedness is to lay with his wife that was the sin that Ham committed with him when he uncovered his father's nakedness it was not to look upon his new body but to lie with his wife in other words was serious 22 so late so they spread Absalom a tent up on the top of the house and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel Genesis said this would come to pass can you not remember should I read it to you again it was Almighty God himself thus saith the Lord this is chapter 12 in the same book verse 11 just saith the Lord behold I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house that's absolutely son and I will take thy wives before thine eyes and give them unto thy neighbor his son and he shall lie with thy wives in the side of this son meaning publicly and out inside of all God himself promised that he would do this to David it has come to pass God is in control understand all God's plan ultimately works out positive 23 and the counsel of Ahithophel which he counseled in those days was as if a man had inquired of the Oracle of God one of the first places this is used in God's Word Oracle of God so with all the counsel of a HIPPA fell both with David and with Absalom there's one big problem this word was not from God it was from this man and he will commit suicide soon because of advising this plus what he's about to advise don't miss that lecture all right bless your heart she listened a moment please I want to talk to you
