pastor Murray all right good they tell you god bless you welcome to the shepherd's chapel welcome to this family Bible study our praise God we're ready to get back into our father's word how exciting this second Samuel this great book the key to David I hope you're staying alert and I'm trying to call your attention to those points that itch in your mind and heart or your heart and mind maybe better said the very truths that are enlisted and the prophecies of our fathers word to prepare you mentally to be able to take that key after it's etched and have it open any lock and these scriptures that other men cannot in this 7th chapter that we're dealing with probably has more of the combination to that key than any other chapter in the books of Samuel our first our second so because of that fact I want to back back to the first verse of this seventh chapter and I want to lay that groundwork again with solely the thought the key to David in mind now let's take the analogy that God uses through the life of David to understand where we are here in this fifteenth verse of that seventh chapter because it's going to get real interesting and important it is from the first but I mean as far as explaining itself God's Word will explain itself if you have that key David had been very victorious and all of his battles God had really set him up he had at that time of this opening of this chapter he was there was peace all around him and he was sitting in a big panel house it was you know pass sealed and paneled with the very best of wood so forth and he said to Nathan the profit what do you think about me building the Ark of God what do you think about me building God a house he's out there living in a tent and Here I am in this palace this wonderful house and Nathan on first answer which was the man answering not in the office of properties go ahead and do whatever you want to God's with you and everything you do it because there couldn't be anything wrong with it but you see if you were to listen to man rather than God that is to say even a man of God Nathan was there's no doubt there's not a question of a doubt that he was indeed a man of God but he just popped off there it just slipped out of his mouth and then God came to Nathan and he said you go ask that David what he was when I found him he was nothing but a sheep herder and which one of the judges did I ever forgive even the least little idea that I wanted a house I didn't so why is he now saying I want to build God a house and God continues on and even in the eleventh verse he said hey friend I'll build you a house but you won't be building me any house and he told him also in the tenth verse which is very important it goes future all the way to the Millenium I'm gonna see that the children of wickedness never bother my children any more when I get through building this house this place and I deliver my children into this place that I have in mind for them who are these children of wickedness that's part of the key to David friend the key to David is basically the genealogy of David and those prophecies that pertain to that genealogy for through this one David will come Christ born of that virgin mary' offspring Mary was of this great David that God said no you weren't anything but a sheep herder and I have given you all this meaning what dear what well there's a little lesson in that for you I don't care what you are you may be a sheep herder for all I know you may be a janitor you may be a ditch digger or you may be a bank president God doesn't care you know if he decides to use you he will use you whatever you're doing it doesn't make any difference so don't overlook that lesson that's part of the key to David if you have eyes to see and ears to hear I don't care what your position God can put you wherever he so chooses so don't dare to don't dare to think in the realm and belief in the faith in God that he can do with you whatever he so chooses and let it always be your prayer that you be what he wants you to be not what you want to be yourself to use you in that respect we're about you can better facilitate his overall plan through our people which is what the key to David is all about so we see that God wasn't necessarily ridiculing the little David is for being a sheep herder he said I took a sheep herder and made him a king over all Israel I took a sheep herder and through his loins will I bring Messiah that's what he said he keeps talking about David's son Samuel that will actually build the temple but that's not the house God wants God looks on yet to another house and he and and he will as we opened up in this fifteenth verse he will identify again the Covenant he will carry the Covenant from Abraham all the way to David which is to say to Christ and then you begin to understand why house God said if I want a house bill I'll let you know about it until then I'm doing everything else anyway you I am only directing when I'm ready for it I'll build my own house basically is what he's saying bear with me I'll document that before we finish this chapter okay we come to chapter 7 we ask a word of wisdom from our Father in the name of Yeshua Messiah Jesus a man verse 15 with that thought in mind with God having just said if your son gets out of the way though I have chosen him as king I'll chasten him I'll correct him and he did Samuel got out of his will in of his way and he had to be corrected and Solomon rather did I say Samuel Solomon the son of David but he was even looking forward from there as if the closing sentence of 14 and with the stripes of the children of men it was that son of David looking forward to that with His stripes we are healed he took the stripes for us he was chastised and we're the ones that are sinners even to this day and it will be to that time mark paid in full by his blood on the cross that son of David listen to that key as we continue sharpen up for me verse 15 let's go but my mercy shall not depart a way from him as I took it from Saul whom I put away before thee I'm not going even though your son Solomon shalt sin I'm not going to let my mercy fall away from him you understand that in God's mercy even though you're a sinner that God he wants to forgive you I'm marble there was a lady eighty years old called the chapel today and she felt she had committed the unforgivable sin and bless your heart you know who I'm talking to and I'll just answer your question and use it as an analogy to teach this lesson you feel that you have sinned and you've prayed from a young person even to 80 years of age and you asked me even if it was alright to keep praying about it well in a way if it lets you find peace but you see my dear I'm gonna have to come down on you a little bit even if you are 80 years young alright because the first time you prayed God heard you and he forgave you like that and I mean he doesn't want to hear about it anymore you see your problem is is you're not forgiving yourself you think that you're you should be better than what you really are and there's nothing wrong with that we all do we all think we're something special I suppose to ourselves but why don't you forgive yourself because he really doesn't want to hear about it anymore and my dear it isn't possible at this time to commit the unforgivable sin nor was it back when you were young he has already forgiven you and it is not kind of you to keep bringing it up to him alright if it makes you feel better he'll understand all right but I'm telling you that you're a little bit selfish and as much as you're not forgiving yourself hey you're my sister I don't like for you to be that hard on my sister after all she's 80 years young and you won't forgive her God forgave her a long time ago so now let's let's be about our father's business and let's understand his word let's you forgive my sister once you do that all right but God is able to do that back to the lesson God is able he doesn't want to hear about your sins his mercy is sufficient that once you repent I don't care what your sin was his mercy pours forth it was his mercy that brought this David a sheepherder to the position it is as many times as he angered the father and the father had to crack the whip at him just a little bit but he said I'm never never again will I let the mercy of throne line cease to exist because my mercy will be opponent verse 16 the point made here in this verse 16 and thine house underline it thine house not God's house dine house David's house and thy kingdom underline it house and Kingdom shall be established forever before thee thy throne three parts house Kingdom and throne underline it throne shall be established for ever nature that's talking about Messiah but that throne from the time David first sat opponent has still existed even on this earth and that throne is still in existence it is a coronation chair with that great Stone of Destiny resting below it many might say well why do they always take two kings or the Queen's in and set them over that old dirty stone because God promised it and it's real that again as well there's part of that key today that you'll understand that or you won't understand any of God's Word that throne and a king that was was crowned over that Coronation Stone was that great King James that brought forth this King James Bible that our people study that made it available to the little sheep herders and the little ditch diggers and to the little bell boys and whatever have you made it available to all of us through this dome this throne and a lot of people say well I wonder what there really is to it how can you swear by the King James Bible and not know who King James is naturally God is the author thereof but how can you overlook and be blind to history his story history is his story God's story of how this throne would come from this place forward how dare you be so lazy as far as history is concerned and fall so far short in understanding the key to David then unlocks the scriptures that open them and no man can close them of course what is David's house David's house is Christ the kingdom is Christ and the throne belongs to Christ even as Queen Elizabeth this day sits upon that throne or occupies do you know what her number one duty is her number one duty is the same as the number one duty of King James was and it reads as follows protector of the faith protector of the faith do you know a strange thing some years back Queen Elizabeth was not going to make an annual Christian nor a speech concerning Christ it's done once each year from December the 25th to the first and I heard of it than that because it was to save money save television time and I wrote her a letter hurm I wrote her majesty a letter and I said of all times in history when the word of Christ must go forward in your position as protector of the faith I do not understand how you could dream of letting this slip even if it was a speech on radio talk to the people you know I received a very nice letter in return that's not personal from her scribe that said she liked very much the way I thought and thanked me for the letter but you see even to this day the rone is there am I saying here to make a religion after that no way not at all I'm just telling you God's Word is true and it cannot fail that would make him a liar it never has failed nor shall it ever when he gives that covenant it is permanent when he says it is forever no what about the house let's continue on verse 17 according to all these words and according to all this vision so did Nathan speak unto David so you see we find that from Nathan's report from God here is hey lad you will not build me a house is quite contrary to what Nathan said go do all that is in thine heart for the Lord is with thee that was the man talking when God got through talking he lines himself out now David is about to send a prayer to our Father and his and it's best that you pay strict attention to this prayer that David sins if this humble David David never his heart never expanded in self righteousness or self-importance that as you noted in the prior chapter he was not opposed to stripping off his purple royalty robes and dancing in a plain linen ephod before God because he knew where the true royalty was not within him but in God in our Father David was an humble man things did not go to his head listen to his prayer it would do you well if you're ever troubled to come to this prayer especially if you ever begin to think you're something all right verse 18 then went King David in and he set before the Lord and he said missus his prayer Who am I Oh Lord God say what am i Oh Lord God and what is my house that thou has brought me near the - in other words you have taken me from from hurting sheep and have brought me to this place what am I in other words he's saying what makes me worthy I don't feel worthy 19 and this was yet a small thing in thy sight O Lord God but thou has spoken also of thy servants house for a great while to come meaning you've spoken of it for an eternity this thy servant David and is this the manner of man o Lord God o that loses so much in the translation you with companion Bibles are fortunate indeed for I think it brings it out for you translate the word manner well let me run the cross-reference in this little King James hurry up it says the law you call it the Torah which is the law is this the law of man but let me translate man for you your King James won't do it for you your companion will or your Strong's will I'm sure it will it will give you Adam for the word man here the word is Adam but it's more than Adam it is hog dumb which is to say in English thee not of man is this the law of the man what man Adam he is haha dumb Adam is translated man throughout the scriptures it's just a theme which reader is not aware of it but very few places is it translated Adam which is to say the Adam meaning that one individual Oh Lord God in other words is this the law the fact that you promised him that you gave concerning that one man twenty continuing and what can David say more in the question for the our Lord God knowest thy servant you know what's in my heart you know what's in my mind Lord 21 listen to me for thy words sake I want to repeat that for thy words sake an according to thine own heart has spelled done all these things to make thy servant know them you've made your word God you see what our Father will do we'll take this one David yes it was for his words sake for it would be through this David that would come marry that virgin that virgin that would conceive of the Holy Spirit and it would not be haha done but it would be the second ah Dom which is to say of the Spirit was just to say Christ for the words sake you bet for he is the word he is the word and yes much more I'm gonna go ahead and you know give you the answer to God's house he my dear one there's not only the word he is also the house God was building which is to say the temple that they could destroy and he would build again in three days when he rose from that tomb that's God's house it's big enough for all of his children that's why David this little one though he said I might build God a house he wanted to he was looking at sealed paneling and though he would be the one through his loins that this Christ this Son and of the Holy Spirit would come forth which would be the house that would shelter all of children in that mini membered body which is to say Christ's body which is to say is the temple or God's house all right you got it that's the key to David in part but it's a very important part with that part you can understand our Father in his house did Jesus not say in Saint John 14 I go to prepare many mansions and people look for her I think sometimes mean short minded people look for panel houses in the heavens yes we have a house our Father has a house it is the house of prayer for all people and this prayer given by this one David are you seen this would be David's Lord also do you understand yes this David would build that house but unbeknown to him at the time as he grasped for the in-depth truths and knowledge of it is to know that the mini membered body was the temple which is the house of God yes for God's Word sake which is to say Messiah verse 22 continuing where for thou art great David continues his prayer to God o Lord God o Yahweh I'd own a Hebrew reversed I don't know yaver for there is none like C now there is there any God beside thee you want to remember that dear one according to all that we have heard with our ears do you see the key to David within that and can your ears hear underline the words we heard ears and lock it into your mind do you have ears to hear do you understand the prophecy does the key that is etched into your mind that has the grooves that unlocks the truth of God's Word and lets it flow so gently and smoothly into your mind we're about you become an inhabitant of the same house as God that is to say God's house but though the true beth-el 23 and what one nation in the earth is like thy people even like Israel not part of it not a house as it is today of Judah and a house of Israel but all of it whom God went to redeem for a people to himself and to make him a name to do what to make God a name what name Yeshua in other words he chose and through this would come the seed of God that would be a blessing to all people for all would become one in him you understand a lot of people's at all what a racist statement that is no you just don't have yours dear friend you're too much on guard for what you're the little flesh might appear to be or something else rather than understanding the beautiful truths and in depth wisdom of God's Word to build him a name and to do for you great things and terrible that means amazing for thy land before thy people which thou readest to thee from Egypt from the nations and their gods o at that great Passover that you would have the blood of the Lamb put upon the doorpost of those children Israel and bring them forth from Pharaoh's army in his land yes far richer than even when they went in but don't you see do you have ears to hear a nice to see that it is that same Passover which today is our Holy Communion yes at that same time of year that communion that we take of which is the blood of the lamb and the bread the body of Christ with which as we go back to verse 13 verse 14 and with the stripes of the children of men corrected yes but the sins of men in Christ that received the stripes the stripes that would bring about healing for us by one that never sinned in his life that was perfect do you understand what I'm saying is that Passover that deliverance would be that time for God's namesake the savior of the world our Passover and that Passover our Passover being Christ is that house in which God will dwell verse 24 and for thou hast confirm to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever and thou Lord or it become their God how long did he confirm them forever that they would bring forth the Christ child and so it was and so it is and those that called himself today Christ man are a part of it those that do not join themselves to it for the true house of Israel is inhabited by Christ men or that is to say Christians I do not say that to offend but because it is an almighty fact through the power of the Living God Yahweh Yeshua has come and he is that house 25 and now Lord God the word that thou has spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house establish it for ever and do this Bao has said not for David's sake but for God's name say 26 and let thy name be magnified forever and indeed it is Christ the anointed the Lord of Hosts is the God over Israel and that the house of thy servant David be established before the agenda you understand that house of David even the demons themself when Jesus walked forth said thou art the son of David you're the son of the Living God even they knew they had the key how about you friend is the key growing is it being notched accurately in your mind whereby it fits the very stubbornness of locks that locks truth away from the ears that are not supposed to hear receive the key to David and no one understand the house is established be a part of it 27 for Thou O Lord of hosts God of Israel has revealed to thy servants saying has done what revealed it's a revelation it's revealed it's uncovered it's made easy so thy servant saying I will build the in house therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer into the I have I understand and I have taken heart as we would say today to be able to pray to you and say thank you father and now Lord God thou art that God you are that Yahweh and thy words be true I want you to circle that I want you to underline it for that is the that is the heart of the matter his word he did it for his words sake but his word is truth it is the truth and it is the truth that sets you free the words of Jesus in st. John chapter 8 what is it long about verse 32 try somewhere in there learn the truth and the truth will set you free there is only one truth for there's only one yave and his truth his word is true and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant and it cannot live your friend there's 29 to complete the chapter therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant that it may continue for ever before thee for thou o Lord God has spoken it and with thy blessings let the house of thy servant be blessed forever can you see it dear one let the key to the lock open it for you Christ is that house that Messiah is God's house but me now I want you to grasp this talk God did not build that house to live in all alone for an eternity to be alone for God does not enjoy being alone he built an house big enough for all his children both the sixth day man in the eighth day man and whatever he built an house whereby he would never be alone and his children would pleasure him in that house is Joshua Messiah Jesus the Christ the key to David unlock many of the words spoken by Christ as he walked this earth even before the crucifixion we made the statement see that temple tear it down it may have been hundreds of years being built but tear it down I shall replace it in three days for his risen body his risen beam is the house that God you see there one what God was really saying to David is you were a sheep herder and I built the house for you I brought you where you are what he's really saying is man cannot build a house for him so don't ever take all that much pride in a house I'm talking about a church for a man cannot build one that God will recognize as his house for God does not look at stick and brick that cannot speak and are dumb but he looks at that vivacious humility of what that received the stripes for all his children which is to say himself in Christ took your stripes fulfilling both offices what a beautiful beautiful chapter in the depth if you could absorb and understand well I didn't know God wanted to live in a house with me I would have never thought God he loves you your only hard on yourself do you think God created man because he needed some squirrels to put in the trees or something of that nature he had some holes of the ground he wanted to fill in most cases in all that come to my mind at this moment it always says when the sons of God laughed and cried for joy of course we know from Ezekiel 28 there were moments that were not so joyful they were happy because they were housed with him and he loves company there is a great house that houses Christ will you come in I'm not making an altar call and I'm not begging you the choice is yours there's plenty of room god bless your heart do this little moment
