I Watched Thor: The Dark World in 0.25x Speed and Here's What I Found

[Music] welcome back everyone I'm the Canadian lad and today I've watched Thor the dark world in point to 5x speed and found 20 new details that he may or may not have seen before and the reason I say that is because it's an old movie with not so much of the details so chances are you might already know some of the things that I'm gonna talk about but having said that I will still try my best to give you at least a few new details through this video so without any further ado let's begin number one at the beginning of the movie when Thor takes Jane with him to Asgard he opens the Bifrost but notice the Bifrost hits the font of a police car and that part can later be seen flying towards Heindel even though a detail like this doesn't really require me to watch it in slow motion but it's a good attention to detail so I decided to include it anyway number 2 in Thor 1 whip seen Jane Foster using one of her Van Allen belts device I've explained what this device is in that video so if you haven't watched it yet make sure you do but in this movie Jane Foster seems to have upgraded her device to something that is even smaller in scale when Jane was on a date with Richard Darcy brought this device to show Jane because there were some unusual readings in this device and this is the exact same device that we've seen in Thor 1 but in a bigger scale number three when Thor's grandfather Bor invaded the dark world and captured aether his entrance is almost similar to Thor's in infinity war not just that even when Thor entered vanaheim at the beginning of the movie the visual movements of milner is reused again an endgame frame-by-frame here's a side-by-side comparison so you can judge it for yourself and see that it is the same shot being used in two different movies number 4 thor escapes Asgard with Jane and Loki in a small ship but notice the propeller of the small ship makes a similar noise to dr. Strange's I of agamotto [Music] number five when Malekith attacked Asgard Heimdall activated a protective shield around the Asgardian palace but notice this is the same holographic shields that Asgardian army uses to control their artilleries this one is a very small detail and can only be found if you watch it in slow motion and I watch MCU movies in quarter speed to come up with details like this number six Loki was depressed after knowing that his mother has been killed now there's one big reason behind this it's not only that Frigga is dead but it's why she is dead and a big reason behind her death was Loki himself because Loki was the one who told Algrim were to go after he got out of the Asgardian prison you might want to take the stairs to the left which brings me to my next point number seven Loki didn't really hurt his foot in the scene the red bleeding on Lok his foot is actually just a squished Barry Loki as always is being overly dramatic in this scene yes he's upset that his mother is no more but he didn't really hurt himself in the process number eight Darcy and Janes car with the license plate k43 PRL is actually a real license plate and not a random one when you search for it on Google you can actually look at the car history along with every details it was registered for the first time on April 29th 1993 it's kind of surprising that Marvel didn't even try to hide it they just used a real license plate for this scene number nine we all know Loki didn't really die in the arms of Thor he disguised himself as a soldier and came back to Asgard but if we slow down the speed and noticed very carefully we can actually see him turning into the soldier for less than a second I'll play it in point to 5x speed and he will be able to notice it very easily now take another look at Loki when he turned himself into Odin these are the same visuals implying that whenever Loki transforms himself into someone else he goes through the same process and the soldier going through the same visual effects indicates this was indeed Loki number 10 at the end of Thor one we saw Thor destroying the Bifrost bridge but in this movie when the Dark Elves attack Asgard we can see for a few seconds exactly where the Bifrost has been repaired and we can see the bridge hasn't been repaired to its fullest it still has marks that tells us it was once damaged this is an awesome attention to detail and I give kudos to Marvel for maintaining such continuity in a film number 11 now this detail is slightly different it's more of a debunk than a detail a lot of people been saying that Thor kept a strain of Jane's hair plaited into his own but that's not true neither is it Loki's hair nor is it free cos it's just an Asgardian style that even Odin has and do you really think Odin would have a strain of jane's hair tied on his own head come on lads so this is clearly a misconception let's not stretch every detail to a point where it no longer makes sense number 12 when Thor told Odin malakut ship could be over our head and we'd never even know it Thor was actually right his ship could be over our heads right now we'd never even know it if and when he comes his men will fall 10,000 because we can actually see for a couple of seconds that malakut ship was really hovering over Asgard and none of them could see it so Thor was absolutely right number 13 just like Odin lied to Thor about his sister hella and lied to Loki about his true parentage Bor father of Odin also lied to him about the Dark Elves Bohr said all the Dark Elves were dead but in reality Malekith and his army escaped and still lived but after eternities of bloodshed my father Baal finally triumphed what happened he killed them all he sat and the ether was said to have been destroyed with them and yet here it has the Dark Elves are dead so this lying to your children thing isn't something that only Odin did even his father did the same with him number fourteen when Loki turned into Captain America we now know after seeing endgame that this isn't the first time he chose to be Steve Rogers in fact this was the second time but here's one interesting detail when Loki turns Thor into lady safe or turns himself into Anna's guardian soldier their voices do not change very well but when Loki turned into Captain America his voice also changed into Steve Rogers number 15 this movie tells a lot of things for the first time in the MCU the idea of infinity stones is introduced in this film and just like that for the very first time we see Odin talking to one of his Ravens till now we've only got to see them around Odin's throne or around Thor and Loki this Ravens are called Hugin and muninn they fly across the nine realms and comes back to Odin with news and information and in this movie for the first time ever we get to see one of the Ravens flying back to Odin and probably exchanging some information notice how old and asks Thor a vanaheim is secured but just before that one of the Ravens told something to Odin already vanaheim secure as on Hyman number 16 Thor wasn't bleeding when Loki chopped off his hand neither was there any blood on Loki's dagger indicating this is a fake reality set by Loki same thing happened when Kimura killed fake Thanos an infinity war there was no blood in Kimora's weapon number 17 when Thor goes to stop the prison break Thor's cape appears instantly the moment he touches the hammer although we know these are part of his powers but this is the only time this happens to him on-screen as soon as he touches his hammer his cape appears from nowhere number 18 while Loki was impersonating Odin he let Thor keep melee er it belongs to you this is because unlike the real Odin Loki was not worthy and trying to take me linear would have blown his cover number 19 coming to sell vics chalkboard that contains a bunch of Marvel Comics and real science references I'm gonna break down the entire blackboard so stick around with me for a minute it shows 6-1-6 universe where most of Marvel comics take place the crossroads is an other-dimensional reality where the laws of physics do not apply the fault is a giant tear in space-time continuum it also has the nine realms including the devaglia that we've seen in infinity war then comes Simonson's theory of relativity which is not - Walt Simonson who is a famous Thor comic writer and the Nexus is a cross-dimensional getaway which provides a path away to any and all possible realities now coming to the portion that actually do exist in real physics for example it says dark energy of the universe and we know that roughly 68% of the entire universe is dark energy then it says shooting us cat which is a thought experiment where his cat is both alive and dead at the same time the reason it's there in the blackboard is because this theory supports the multiverse in real life and we now know for sure that the multiverse is indeed a reality inside the MCU number 20 this detail is about Jane Foster and Thor and has nothing to do with watching this movie in slow motion throughout this movie Thor kept on losing his loved ones in order to save Jane Foster his mother sacrificed her life to save Jane and even Loki had a fake death to protect Thor's girlfriend and that's my point when your entire family's on the verge of collapse because of your love life you don't just get to break up with that partner because it no longer remains a simple relationship and that's why I was really happy when they announced Jane Foster is making a comeback in Thor love and thunder because to me the idea of Thor and Jane breaking up just doesn't sound right Jane knows that Thor lost his mother because of her so the least she can do for Thor is to support him no matter what and I think that's what we're gonna see in Thor love and thunder where Jane and Thor finally come back together and that's it this completes my Thor trilogy in point two-five expeed
