You have a me that you put on your file and depending on the color of shirt. Your me is wearing it will determine The randomness of those boxes. So if you have a me with a black shirt um It's the best because you get a special golden box in world four That um Gives you two star medals and this game doesn't have sideways speed caps. So You can if you can Jump sideways for a long time. You can build up tons of speed That's this game's blg Whatever get the star I guess don't lose the propeller So you can go ahead of the auto scrollers in this game this world conveniently Uh has this platform which will jump the camera Back to it and then you launch them to the mainland and jumps the camera again So that's good Oh gosh, I don't know where I landed i'm just going to be safe about it It's so bad you can do this level so much faster like 10 seconds Cannon shot here flutter wall kick There's a hidden propeller block back here you're supposed to go inside this level and like Climb it all the way up and then come out the door at the top But if you get the hidden propeller, they put these blocks here So you could like intentionally do this. Skip I guess And then come over here go in the door Grab this last medal All right, so he throws out a star metal And i'm gonna catch it right out of the air before it gets to its final destination very cool Okay, I need to I need to flutter low enough that I can grab the star metal with my tail and high enough that my head touches the workbox Dude I can't believe that was too low okay. We're getting it this time There you go perfect height fluttered at so that my head touches the box my tail touches the coin Hit this block wall jump right into it Land on the edge of there And then here we're gonna do cannonless By grabbing the star middle like that And then this propeller block Makes climbing this tower. I'll get the 5 2 metal Pretty fitting to get this 5-2 metal i'm going to get now It's not normally in the route, but it has a lot of history behind it. You guys wanted more stories When I started racing this game I started racing at end of 2012 when it came out We all kind of thought that getting the star medals was lame. We just liked playing through the game without getting them And world 5 is the last world you can beat without getting any star medals So we were all like ocarina of time players trying to pick this game up And this is a zelda themed level So right there hidden fire flower very important So, yeah, we used to race to this level because it was zelda themed and we played zelda So beat five two warpless was our go-to category Had a lot of fun races doing that Gotta wait out this Okay, one of the best hyper speed moments right here Are you kidding me? Okay, at least I got it. That's not the right direction Oh watch this see that bounce off that guy even though he's like spiky If you hit them with your tail, you can immediately bounce off them so you long jump at them hit them with your tail then we You can go ahead of the auto scrollers in this game The problem is that the star metals don't load so you can't collect them there's like we kind of thought of trying to make a route where you could Do this level blind? Not that it would be fun, but it could probably be pretty fast How did I not make it are you kidding That's what that was supposed to look like somehow I fell in that hole one of the toughest skips in the run coming up It's funny looking but man is it hard to pull off? All right, here we go Oh, I got it good job This um, this level you're supposed to go through this kind of little maze section that's behind this wall But there's this rotating platform It like takes you to different parts of the maze Basically, you like come out of the maze onto it and it rotates and then you go back in But I can use it to my advantage because when it moves it gives me a little speed boost So i'm going to use this rotating wheel thing get a speed boost jump Get up there Instantly bounce off that guy to grab the star medal which also looks cool Last one is here And done Now sim, five cool skip at the end here supposed to be an auto scroller where you have to ride this platform Come on, then go But oh that's bad Okay, let's try this Okay, we're good saved it made a slight adjustment bouncing more to the right and then barely angling left I don't really know how you're supposed to get that like boomerang or I don't know Uh-oh. Once you lose your speed on these stairs, it's just bad Nice whole grab all right here we're long jumping downhill I can you're supposed to shoot out of a cannon through that metal and then to the pole But you could just jump off the side Do that instead Okay, one of the coolest skips in the game right here Remember that guy that I hit with my tail and then bounced off of like the spiky guy Watch this Do the same thing, but then onto that burner Oh can I didn't make it up there? Whatever All right kind of bad movement Long jump around these poles get this guy out of the way Oh gosh, whatever doesn't lose time You can actually skip part of this pull ride by long jumping across the top of the burners right there, okay I'm just gonna be lame and like do super slow movement here But I will do this And fence jump okay watch this Long jump off the blocks navigate right around the boot grab the metal pretty cool looking section Oh, please make it okay Those are strats we do when we're not rusty, but it found its way into my muscle memory Okay, there's a three star metal in that box I normally get but i'm not getting it now Saved by crouching under the bill Okay, and then I can make it here Okay, it's kind of a weird scoop at the beginning of this level I'm pretty good at it though.
