I Cannot Escape the Baldur's Gate 3 Character Creator

wait wait don't don't look don't look yet look into my eyes don't make me look into my tail weapon yeah one more time okay well it glitched down a little bit there who am I I'm Ebenezer good day or night to you and welcome to Baldur's Gate 3 The Character Creator because as you can see by my facial hair I've been trapped in this character creator for three days Escape it's just too good in this video I'm going to create some characters I need to get it out of my system hopefully after these characters are complete to the the prophecy is fulfilled and I can leave and actually play the game let's get right into it there's a randomize button here we can randomize the entire thing half the time it comes out with something weird and half the time it comes out with something good this guy looks cool very colorful hair on this orc you can randomize the whole thing here but you can just randomize the appearance here elf cleric no yeah let's start with elf clear elf choleric randomize get me some ideas so much colorful hair today let's take this one modify it where are the tattoos are they conflicting with the scar oh no the intensity is just too low that looks cool the hair though I don't like the hair so many hair options so much hair the music in this game is excellent just sit here forever [Music] oh it's glitching out I think we've done it elf cleric number one out of a hundred look at this guy I didn't even change the hair color I just liked it the colors the way the colors interact and the settings for configuring the hair color it's excellent It's all excellent this I think I like that face Maybe warmer skin tone a ska these are heroes after all heroes they best cause here's something interesting the Vitiligo pigmentation slider I don't even know if I said that right I have not seen a game that has this kind of slider in the Character Creator or in fact probably a character in a video game that has this skin pigmentation 10 bonus points delirium Studios for inclusivity everyone deserves to feel included in the quest body art I think we'll oh you know what birds bird tattoo eyes actually I like like what it already chose the hair already looks so good but maybe change the hair color okay so we have a base hair color we have a highlight how's this highlight playing okay so it's like the tips the ends of the hair that is some pretty hair look at this this character is excellent there's graying too these three color selections and Sliders make for very interesting hair also paired with all the hair models Baldur's Gate 3. 10 more bonus points do the Developers for great hair [Music] of course there is also the option of bad hair somewhere here you know I'm not going to click on it because I'm afraid I'll mess this up facial hair well I mean we could give her a beard but she's not a dwarf so no beard there we go character halfling Ranger next character ah yes this is one that I've been wanting to recreate in the monster manual there is an archmage and he looks pretty Sinister he's got a neutral facial expression but he looks bad so we're gonna make him I don't know which of these faces to use though this one I'll use this one another great thing about the Character Creator is you have a suggested range of colors this is for skin and eyes you have a selected range and then you also have the option to just unlock all the choices so say I wanted to make this human blue or green or red wait chili tone that doesn't look that unusual well that that one's a little unusual lime orcish gray but I'm getting distracted because this is supposed to be the evil archmage so there's a vampire tone here I think that's the palest choice I'm gonna choose that evil scarring this looks quite diabolical one does not acquire these scars and save cats from burning trees or houses or falling moving on the tattoos on the face this is an important part because this particular piece of artwork when I think of tattoos on a Dungeons and Dragons character this is the only piece of official artwork that comes to mind the archmage and I think the Switchback Trail is the closest I can get without putting a ton of other shapes on his face like the pouring hate that got this like flamey batwing thing going on that's too much this one's also pretty good but I think this is the closest it's the one I that I like the most for what I'm trying to recreate piercings why not eyes here's the normal range of eye colors or you could just unlock them all red it was already red demonic red well that's even more evil there's also solid black excuse me good wizard you um you appear to be possessed by a demon I don't know what you're talking about it's your eyes something wrong with your eyes there's nothing wrong with my arms you spout you should be ashamed of yourself yeah well I'm not the one with the demon in my eyes change it back to red red eyes I think that tattoo paired with this makeup is gonna be good the hair the hair is the biggest part bald sorcerer there we have it the archmage the mage of all Mages and he's a Sinister he doesn't look that Sinister here but just you wait he'll start zapping people next character oh a different human the hair is the biggest part It's gotta be black you'll see yes wait wait wait wait wait wait don't don't look don't look yet wizard don't look it's not done change the eye color behold it kinda looks like it's also Doom from Conan the Barbarian kind of it's it's really just the hair the long straight black hair kind of going down it looks like James Earl Jones the hair that he has and Conan Barbarian all right well moving on moving on that's over with have more characters to make okay we've gotta to make these characters and ship them off on quests if we don't make enough characters there won't be enough quests being solved and the world's just gonna it's all gonna go bad the arch Mage will rise up next up on the menu ah a drow Bard tall female drought Bard why not I don't really like the red eyes elf blue looks pretty nice actually how about Green Oh wait demonic green no no elf blue three it's got a little more green to it it's like the hair that's the hair needs to change though white hair but maybe some highlights what would that look like that looks pretty cool actually no that looks like peppermint this isn't going to work I don't know what I'm doing okay wait so the female drow cannot have beards but the halflings can is that a bug is it getting it confused with dwarves okay well another character has been crafted a little sworn drow level one Bard next character let me take a look at the Dragonborn a Dragonborn Barbarian now barbaric but uh male dragon oh [Applause] very scary all of these Dragon porn look scary hey this looks less scary maybe it's just the reptilian features there's a bunch of sub races too or the Dragonborn whoa that's fiery oh I really want to do the brass let's edit the brass the more Jagged the face and the horns the more Sinister it appears the Dragonborn becomes this is like the least terrifying option this one looks good I like that you can customize the chin horn too there's the music again being glorious thank you no Jagged jaw for you ah yes 12 colors of brass [Music] 12 drastically different colors of brass these little color squares are not representative of the final result that one's pretty cool but I'm gonna go with this one I like that kind of iridescent blue and purple yeah flame orange eyes he's got the eye of Sauron I think that contrasts nicely with his scales the Dragonborn look amazing in this game tried to make him look nice but those the eyes I can't give him any makeup it'll make his eyes his eyes will be surrounded by more darkness and he'll look scary another five points to the Developers for the option to have Dragonborn without a tail we have an option for a tail might as well give this guy a tail this one looks the least Jagged and sinister tail whip yeah again one more time okay well it glitched down a little bit there yet another amazing character I love this character creator this is awesome when do I play the game though after I make more characters yes Yankee Aladdin [Music] we'll go with this although that hair is looks a little too much like a a sore Bay cannot have that change the gray nice we will choose two different colors for the eyes elf summer and the left eye will in fact be quite demonic there we go yes Yankee Paladin with an evil eye another one what else do I have on the list ah yes of course half orc Rogue that's a cool one dare I even change anything about this [Music] that's cool I'm afraid to change anything the eyes match the clothes half Orcs can have beards interesting interesting another five points for larion studios for more beards well that one was easy sometimes you don't need to change much sometimes the random sometimes the randomizer button does all the work for you rather than make a normal gnome I have an idea let us take advantage of the short stature and the pointy ears and unlocking all the skin colors to make a goblin earlier I said not all hair choices are good if with the color it still looks good I mean it's it's bad but the color is making up for it how do I make this worse yeah bald works every time Goblin a goblin druid technically a gnome but a green gnome that sounds like a goblin to me I do not trust Goblin next character about a tiefling fighter [Music] whoa what the heck that's really creepy I wasn't going for creepy but whoa that's a nice one too where where was that one color is that it I don't think that was it was brighter wasn't it this is just so many good options though I'm you will just go with that makeup why not that's cool oh the horns can be changed gold grafted horns Drake fangs those look the same but without the gold splayed thorns hornless change the hair it's like little patches but there's no spiky horns there's one thing they could have added sawed off horns like Hellboy that would be an interesting World building thing like what if in tiefling culture or one's horns to be removed it's like a huge sign of disrespect or whatever maybe some evil Overlord who's Enslaved tieflings the ones that disobey they're like first warning I will spare your life but your horns are getting sawed off somewhere I will need to incorporate that into a Dungeons and Dragons game I think that's good enough tiefling fighter go on a quest fight the good fight you fighter next character half else warlock Maybe honestly I don't want to change anything about this except the eyes [Music] and the makeup the Warlock she has been possessed [Music] look into my eyes no don't make me look into my eyes no I gazed into your eyes and I saw the end of humanity I accidentally changed your makeup well there we go that was easy demon possessed warlock next character got one more on my list here an unconventional one a Dwarf Monk can it be done well even turn out good I don't know it's definitely not this guy we'll start with that [Music] that'll look cool beard a beard of some sort of facial air go with that one [Music] whoa too much color okay praying wait rain is why can't I choose the color ah what have I done I might have broken the character creator I think I broke it well there we go a Dwarf Monk maybe not the most agile but maybe the most agile it's never been seen before a dwarf leaping Leaping Lizards Batman this dwarf is is leaping from rooftop to Rooftop the problem is so I've made all these characters I still want to make more there's a game after the Character Creator I swear eventually I will get past character creation and actually start this darn game but until then thank you for watching let me out of here let me out of this
