hi hopefully no space explorers first of all let me apologize for being really late on my videos usually we try to upload one video per week there's a lot of stuff going on inside I see a lot of new people coming in we have a couple of ITC's running there's a big project coming in spring that needs a lot of attention right now some a bit late sorry for that today I would like to show you in a very short video how to work with a spool so we had the moment in Austria running a course and I saw a couple of things that were simply wrong in the way how to wind up a spool and how to work with a spool so I want to give you a quick introduction of how to do that properly and I hope this helps okay you probably remember the video of the how to shoot the s and B and why we shoot this and B the way we do it so as you can see here's our as some be going up and now it's about how to rewind the spool and what I see a lot of times is that people tend to do this so they line the line on the spool the problem is you always create slack on that line so if leather is an SMB line going up the SMB will drift away you will probably float up and the entire idea of an SMB a straight line to the surface is basically ruin so that doesn't work then another thing I see a lot of time is people doing this I mean if you're going to wind up 50 meters of line like this we take an eternity that's also nonsense so what we want to achieve is that the line that we set no matter if it is horizontal if it's going up is straight and it doesn't move so what we do is we take our clip put it in the line we use our finger to block the line and now we take a little bit of line out and what we do is we wind the spool in the line like this so now we take the next piece and wind it in I repeat that so that's my line I just take a little bit I find it in the spool take the next piece I line it in the spool so you see the line doesn't move at all but I can work with the spool the next thing is as I have my clip already in the line I can attach it at once I have my hands-free lines hanging and when I want to start doing it again it's quick and easy as well you see that right same thing also works in horizontal which I'll show you in a second same thing if the lines horizontal if I'm a cave in a rack whatever and I want to point the line back in I'm not doing this and of course I'm not doing this because as you can see the line that should be straight and lead my way is suddenly loose so I keep the line on the tension I take my snap I block it with my finger you the spool in the line next piece I hope that helped I hope you like it so if so please subscribe to our Channel check us out on Facebook and I'll see you next time bye
