hey you do LM here with Sparkle Liberty firearms Channel and today we're going to be showing me the proper way to lubricate your Glock series of pistols so here we go alright guys what we're going to need for this is we're going to need your Glock pistol that you're going to be lubricating and you're going to need the lubricant of your choice you can use all sorts of different lubricant this is this happens to be a Lucas gunnel and it's really nice whenever you can get them in a container that goes ahead and has this tip on here makes it really easy to do this job so the first thing that we're going to be doing is d danger in this we're going to drop the magazine out here hot round comes out that's my everyday carry gun so it always stays low we're gonna move that to the side over and check for an empty chamber and of course there is an empty chamber in there point in the safe direction squeeze the trigger next thing you're gonna need to do is pull your slide back into your basic Glock field strip let the top come off here and you're gonna go ahead and break it down into four main components which is your barrel your slide your lower rib part of your frame and your recoil assembly now your recoil assemblies not gonna need a Lube so we can go ahead and use that to the side for now basically there's one really easy way to remember this a lot of guys really when they get into their lubricate and they over lubricate them that's a big reason why Glock pistols are sent back to the factory note work is over lubrication they do require a lubricant but they do not require nearly as much as you think so the top part up here is going to get three drops of lubricant the barrel is going to get two and the lower part of your frame is going to get one three two one or one two three just easy way to remember that so the part that's going to be getting oil is your rails is gonna be getting one drop on each side and I mean one drop I don't need a bunch I mean one drop only one drop right there one drop right there and you're gonna go ahead and kind of start to work that in and this is where it's going to be riding on the frame so you wanna make sure that stays lubricated and the other part you're gonna be wanting to lubricate is where your barrel rides in here so I'm going to put literally like a drop and that's kind of a big drop actually we're gonna go ahead and work this part here work it into it and that's where your barrel is gonna be riding and sliding because your barrel drops down and it's actually gonna be riding up against it so you want to make sure that you got a lubricant in there okay that parts done the barrel is where we're going to be lubricating next what you want to do is I like to actually put three drops as depending on how it looks first half of this barrel here like from here forward we're gonna go ahead and put one drop there and we're just gonna work that around and that's also where that's gonna be riding and making contact now if you don't lubricate it and even if you do you're gonna start seeing wear marks but to help alleviate the wear marks we're gonna go ahead and lubricate the front half you don't really have to lubricate the back portion of the barrel because that's not riding on anything but the front portion is what you really want to lubricate the next thing that we're going to be lubricating is the locking lugs this is where it locks up in the gunroom putting one drop right back there and if you guys can see that real well or not one drop is gonna be right in here so we're gonna get that one drop in there and that'll be just fine some guys like to take a little bit of excess up here and kind of move it around the back front and bottom up here just to help lubricate that's fine but really just right there where where your moving parts are gonna be interfacing all right and lastly the frame now we don't need to put any lubricant or on the tabs here because we've already got on the rails the place that you do need to lubricate that a lot of people overlook is where this trigger bar here is and the trigger connector you can come see it moving back and forth there that's making contact in there so what we're gonna do is we're going to put a drop of lubricant where that's interfacing if you guys can see that real well or not anyway if you don't lubricate this what you can get is a really hard and gritty trigger pull and we don't want that either alright so we're gonna okay and that's all for that and like I say I just want to kind of keep it working around okay make sure it's nice and worked in there that's going back in contact and that's where your trick connector is so you know make sure you work it around just take the tip of that and make sure you got worked in there and last part of this is going to be reassembly and of course it's just the reverse we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna drop this Barrel in to this end of the slide move the recoil spring into the crescent slot now we're gonna go ahead and make sure in there we're gonna press the trigger in a safe direction and the trigger resets working real good and so we're gonna go ahead and do it run put the mags in there and danger back up alright guys that was how to properly lubricate your Glock pistol I hope the video was helpful to you and remember that Oprah lubrication is the biggest reason Glock pistol went back to the factory so you do not want to over lubricate them but you do not want to run them without lubricant either you wouldn't run your car without oil so why would you run you're getting some machine it just doesn't make any sense so hope the video is helpful to you guys please like and subscribe the video let me know that the information is helpful and remember it only takes one spark of Liberty to ignite the fires of freedom thanks for watching
