i build and not only did not only did he choose a pc like i mean we're talking almost god tier the pc that we're building today um because like we're talking 9900k we're talking rtx 3080. he's got 4 thousand megahertz ram watching from montana oh he's and he's watching from montana right and i mean it's like guys like there are so many things are going there so i'm super stoked to get to i broke you uh i'm super stoked to actually have him here today getting to build his pc we've got he's he's he's joining a long line of distinguished pc guests that we have built pcs for and so i'm excited about that like so aaron joining us it's fun to get to do that we you know we got to do um he gets to join along with ryan mccaffey who we basically did his build um yeah we have and then we have some other ones like keith klein huh yeah we have big clg fans like all that sort of stuff so i'm pretty excited about him being a part of this and going for there we'll go through the parts here in a minute let me go through the giveaways though because this is this is always a part that everybody gets excited about as we go through the stream that make my age and flight dreams come true oh i will happening um where we've taken all the minecraft stuff off we turned into an xbox build and that is going to be donated for charity to raise money for the xbox gaming tournament which is pretty rad so everybody's ready for me to get to the build now i will give you the caveat everything that's in that thumbnail is all wrong so we we we had we had a couple incidents in shipping today shipping this week um first and foremost we had a lean lead dynamic the bill that was supposed to happen on friday now got pushed to whenever we get a new lien league case because that was damaged in shipping and then we went to go take care of aaron's and he was originally supposed to use a td 500 um and his td 500 was damaged so luckily corsair um i had i went and got i went and got a corsair 4000 d which we we're going gonna do for a build anyway game of call change the whole build so the build's pretty pretty different in terms of given it's all corsair we've gone to mostly corsair parts so we're using the we're using the capellix um uh compelling um the capellix aio we've actually gone to faster vengeance rgb pro ram um so we're basically making it better but kind of equating the parts out so this part this build comes into right around 2600 if you're looking to do this which is which is actually when you think about all we've kind of crammed into this 1.5 terabytes of space and all that stuff pretty actually ridiculous build especially with the 4000 megahertz ram thank you very much ken for the five dollars man super appreciate that um yeah it's gonna be build entertainment tonight should over a million views this month on tick tock which is crazy um so do we do all tick tocks and then wednesday thursday friday streams and by wednesday i'm like juicing to get in front of people so like these are like always the ones that have the most energy it's like oh i need to get it going so we're going to just slowly died and then by yeah and then friday it's like friday i'm like i'm done with you guys so i'm just kidding that's not true i love i love you know i love you okay so let's talk through the build today uh going through here um starting with the cpu we're using the ryzen uh sorry the ryzen we're not using horizon what no we're not using horizon we're not using a ryzen we're not using horizon but i'll lick the rising just to make sure get a comb in there just make sure we're good to go you know after you you keep licking it putting in your beard is that it starting it helps going in there we like to uh we're gonna get some md like so we're starting with the uh 10th gen intel that one tastes like this i'm not gonna lick it because this is not mine so that's why i'm not gonna do it we're gonna start with the 10th gen we're gonna shoot the 10th gen uh i9 10 900k uh absolutely right now still the king of still the king of gaming cpus still still the king until remembered until rumored until we'll find out we'll find out when we get our new cpus um which which we will be testing here very shortly maybe we are we don't have to see but anyway i'm going to be going through those those are going to be a lot of fun so this is going to be a great gaming rig still the best single threaded 5 gigahertz uh cpu on the market uh should be absolutely great and uh and big big shout out to uh intel for that one um for motherboard it's funny uh we were gonna use the beast beast uh like that ridiculous maximum over like that their maximum extreme board but i was like i told him i was like hey if we're going to use that board you need like the world's largest case to do it and he's like oh well let's not do that so what we're going to do is is with the very amazing still absolutely awesome the rog strix z490e gaming uh probably one of the best looking z490 boards out there the only two i really like about this given we're all corsair aurasync is actually works with iq which makes it really easy so all the stuff that he wants to do um in terms of changing his lighting and all that sort of stuff he can do with a single software for that stuff which is pretty cool love this board it's a great looking board i have that in the ryzen version yeah you have the x570 gaming e yeah or the gaming f one of the ones we've used we've used this one before um but great motherboard uh stoked to get to use this and it's gonna look really good uh in his system yes it's a beautiful it is a beautiful board um for ram um we we're gonna use g-skill but actually what i got him instead is a kit of uh this is 4x32 intel uh ddr4 thousand megahertz ram so again faster ram should look really good again we're trying to use ease of use as the primary concern here so making sure that uh he can do everything within a single uh software suite for doing rgb monitoring system all that sort of stuff so this should be good uh 4000 megahertz is great uh we did switch one thing uh because all i had was two terabytes um so we did we has a he's a 500 gig western digital he's doing both western digital we have a 500 gig and a one terabyte nvme ssd one terabyte for games 500 gigs his faster one for os is going to be the fastest in terms of loading speed so we're going to be doing that and covering those up which should be rad and then somebody's asking about fans um we're gonna use the ll-120s um i like the ql's too but uh i had more ll's qls are actually really hard to get right now the ql 120s are really hard to get um so we got ll-120s we're going to be filling all of his fans so even the capelex fans because there's an issue specifically with corsair and usually you have to use multiple lining node pros to reduce the amount of technical work for this we're going to be using all ll fans on all five fans that he's gonna be six fans he's gonna be using so we'll have three ll 120 fans sorry six ll 120 fans across the whole thing it's gonna be rgb puke in like the most unicorn yeah it's like unicorn puke yeah unicorn puke in like the most excessive way possible so uh he's gonna have six l120s we got three more down here in the bottom that we'll be using for that um i put in the board just because obviously the only place to get fe versions of the gpu is best buy because nvidia is no longer selling the fes anymore but he is using because the price was 6.99 that's why it shows the tough in there but we're actually going to be using is the geforce the absolutely ins stunning i'm excited to finally have a commission build with this and that is the uh founder's edition uh 3080 from nvidia and uh we we um unfortunately we don't have the custom cable so there's going to be some work for this to make it look good um there is a potential of vertically mounting the gpu so um this dot this case does support it i do have riser cables if we can make that work we just need to make sure that we set the bios for pcie gen 3 uh which we will do um and then it'll look a lot better because you can hide the cable performance at all no because the 3080 isn't re the 3080 doesn't use the full speed of pci gen 4. we don't know about the 30 90 yet we haven't tested that so 39 you may but for a 38 it'll be absolutely fine so uh we're going to be using the nvidia rtx 3080 um for his card and it should look i mean it's gonna look it's gonna look super good i'm hoping we can vertically mount it um because of the last minute change i'm hoping i think i have i believe i have somewhere in here i have a riser cable i have a i have like 30 of them would it not come in the mother board no is you need a you need a you need a you need a riser cable i don't know where i think i have one so but if not i might do it i might do it afterwards because we still need to we still need to um okay stop we still need to set the bios and all that stuff to uh make sure we do it anyway so regardless we're working on that we might we might vertically mount a gpu um i'm trying to think what else we care about oh let me get rid of that because that's not right because we're not using that okay so for aio we're using the um new corsair h iq h-100i elite capelix we saw this for the first time last week we hadn't you got to use this before um really really impressed um with this aio for a couple things um i had some i had some pretty big complaints specifically in terms of putting the aio together from corsair in the past with their h100i platinum which we're using one of those tomorrow they have fixed a lot of these things this is actually a dream to install which really that that kind of fit to deep cool and it fit with cooler master up until this point uh and then we also get the performance of the h100i because they're not using an acetate they're actually using new pump technology um which is pretty rad so excited about this we're using two of course there's newer parts and this has got their new branding with the super bright yellow um which should be good it's got a bigger a little bit of a bigger cold plate and then you've got the option the option to change the front rgb if you're doing like an arctic or if you're doing a black which is pretty neat we're gonna be keeping this black because we're doing a black case which comes it comes with it comes with a clear oh like a clear pump if you wanted to do something there cool for power um we're going to use i've become a fan of these um and ever since uh cooler master sent me this um and this is the mwe gold 750 v2 fully modular um these are new uh as of what last month i think in terms of this stuff um a lot of things getting fixed oh thank you very much for that would you consider sorry would you consider a subscriber build video we do we actually already kind of do subscriber build videos we have a lot most of the people who i build custom rigs high capacity cables so in other words four 30 80s etc i'm using a split cable it actually draws more power across the across the cables in general so you can only you only have to use one and split and you're fine um and then uh it's gold efficiency which is also really red why not corsair power supply we didn't have one again and the only two is like there if we had even if we had one like unlike all of the other parts that i chose the the having the psu there's not a lot in terms of using a psu from corsair versus like the capellics the fans all that stuff are all controlled from one thing so it's not it's not as big of a deal um and then finally we get to that part we've got the new uh corsair 4000d airflow edition of their case we'll walk through that when we actually get to that part and we'll we'll take as we talk about take apart this case um we'll we'll walk through that and show that off a little bit later so it should be super rad they were also wondering 750 power is enough for yeah 750 is enough yeah 750. 850 is what you need for it but 750 is more than enough for a 30 80. and that's what the minimum recommended is for a 38. or minimum recommended for 30 90 is 850 850 yep so we're gonna be don't forget in in a matter of like three three i think three or four weeks we're gonna be doing a dual 30 90 build with like a 1200 watt power supply it's a 12 000 red ripper build in a dynamic xl so that's the gear mission build yeah it's a commission build so that's that's going to be uh that's going to be uh going from there okay hey at least twice a week you get a blue screen on startup when it restarts and goes away but every time this is uh x-me so a lot of people are asking so here's the thing about asking technical questions i love trying to answer those we actually have a great resource on discord and even here in the chat with our tech support tech specialist agents if you want to head over there they can answer those questions all that sort of you've got rgb over here up here we've got a four pin and eight pin eps power connector uh you only really need to use the eight pins sometimes you can plug in the four but you only need eight on this motherboard four pin is for a high capacity um high capacity overclocking like for instance ln overclocking the liquid nitrogen we're not gonna be doing any of that on here um so so eight pin should be more than enough for that these are fan headers on the top of the light gray one which i always love about asus and most of their boards uh is actually the cpu and then they've got an additional fan header here um these are rgb headers uh so they've got a three pin and a four pin so an addressable rgb uh this is your lga 1200 socket this one is new to 10th gen intel we're pretty sure that rocket lake is going to use the same socket as well but support pcie gen4 is the rumor um so this is what's going here around here this is the vrm cooling solution the vrm is what gives the cpu power usually the better the cooling the higher the up capacity for overclocking we're not going to do any real overclocking here i leave that up to the clients to basically do that sort of stuff if you wanted to the other thing that's nice is this right here which is unique to some boards this is so you can add a second like small fan to do higher levels of active cooling on your vrm should you want to this right here is your memory dimms you got four dimms uh they're actually a dual channel so this is channel one and channel two they're paired together in some cases uh in a lot of asus boards they're actually different colors but in this board they decide to keep it all black just to make sure it's consistent um this is your atx power supply this is what supplies power to your motherboard this is a usbc connector right here usb 3.2 these right here your sata connectors these are where you're gonna usually plug in your hard drives this one's got six which is pretty good uh down here we've got our front panel connectors we've got three more fan headers here um for a total of one two three four five six seven total fan headers we've got two that are over here above this uh pcie uh by one slot um we've got two usb 2 um and then you've got a i guess additional rgb this right here is actually a debug it allows you to do stuff like debug so instead of having to use a pc speaker you can look at stuff like this to try and figure out hey why hey el dusty and thank you very much for the gifted subs like what might be wrong with your with your motherboard or if your pc doesn't post you can also do things like changes to show cpu temperature et cetera and stuff like that this is why this is like a 200 plus 280 290 motherboard and then over here this is your hd audio and this is all your audio stuff um we've got two total m.2 slots one and two right here um you've got two uh 1 by 16 and then 2 by 8 pci slots and then 3 by 1 slots here here and here for things like elgato capture cards etc and then last but not least obviously on the back we also have a ton of i o this one includes wi-fi six which is great if you have wi-fi six it's nice and fast um this right here where you'll see this little square at it what this is this is unique and this has really kind of come out with x570 b550 and even some threadripper and these allow you to to flash the bios without a cpu in and that's why this one is highlighted and this button allows you to do that flash um like flash it without doing this we've got multiple usb multiple usb connectors we've got audio here and then of course these because this is a k you can actually use the onboard integrated graphics if you wanted to a lot of these you see this on x570 and nobody's ever going to use them so that is our there and they're all the other thing too is with the i o technology that's coming out from that's coming out from um rtx io that's coming out from nvidia there's supposed to be some stuff that's doing some file swapping stuff specifically with ram so fire at faster speeds and intel also does really well with 4000 megahertz so unlike the infinity fabric when you have to worry about verizon intel you can feed it faster ram and it does actually have performance implications which is cool so that's why i did it oh look hey there's our screws ready to go we don't have to worry about this we're going to undo those and we're good to go is that hey jeff full it's i was curious about that i hadn't seen that yet so if that's true i think right if ryzen 5000 does do 4000 i didn't i'm not surprised i was curious because we're in the middle of uh prepping builds i have like three or four uh ryzen 5000 commissions already and i was like i was like oh i need to figure out what ram speed and i hadn't i honestly hadn't had time to research so uh if that's true thank you very much for that information information that that it does better with the test speed uh so ryzen ryzen 3 zen 2 was 3 600 right the sweet spot is 3600 but on verizon a present with zen three the sweet spot is five thousand four thousand so um we're gonna so that means that the ram is gonna be faster so that's the thing which is great but also more expensive right because i mean like this kit is like 370 versus like a 32 gig of uh 3 600 is like 179 bucks 300 yeah this was like 379 dollar kit so yeah it's a more so let's show you guys a little bit of the inside again the other thing too that they're really getting big into is that hexa that almost that triangle pattern uh very uh it's almost very metro uh sorry uh deus ex in terms of the look there and then we're gonna pull off our little pop thing there but we'll show you guys a little bit of the inside here which looks really good get rid of that so here's the inside of the case here you can see some lighting there um we've got it's all airflow so we got straight airflow all the way through here um you can see from there right like just in terms of how how much room like there's there's a it does have a dust filter it's pretty thin but in terms of just being able to draw air it does come with two 120 millimeter fans we're gonna be getting rid of both of those um it does support up to a 280 millimeter or 360 millimeter rad in the front and at the top um we do have quite a bit of room up in the top area here i know that was one of the questions that somebody said how hard is it going to be to top-mount a radiator but actually there's quite a bit of room here at the top to actually do your top-mounted radiator i'm impressed with their pre-cable management oh yeah and yeah the back like holy crap in the back here i think this the other stuff is bought a case at the wrong time like yeah between of when companies were like really kind of pay attention yeah but yeah you can check this out here in the back right like lots of cable management roof here um again those nice little subtle yellows and everywhere but um they've got some really good cable channels here um no the one thing is is that everybody's kind of getting away from the rubber grommets which is kind of sad this is uses almost an nzxt style hider for uh the cable stuff but it should still look really good um and then you've also here at the bottom which i think actually except looking really good i'm going to see i actually show you guys this on the side camera is here check this out down here on the edge here i tell you you can see it uh actually can you i'm coming i'm coming down here on the camera check it out they got their little corsair logo which is in like a nice little clean type look here so here i'll put it down so you guys can see that a little bit better but where is it yes you can see right there it's actually blocked by fans because it's got tempered glass on the front which i think is going to hurt so what this is this is the airflow version we're gonna put rgb fans in it okay from there okay so i got some notes airflow configuration or the dan a4 sfx uh the uh also the uh the uh yeah i'd say not best airflow but really good case if you're just looking for an easy build is the nzxt h1 was a foreign yes it was it was actually this was a very easy case to build in lots of room to put in top mounted aio i had no issues with it it's a little scrunched a little scrunched in terms of the psu chassis thing but that's about it did you like the fractal case the fractal i had the fractal design mesh the fractal meshify yeah it's okay it's older it's this one has a lot of the mod stuff the other thing i don't like is that it doesn't have the gpu um holes in the front which i like a lot better but um yes it is it is all set to default and this is the this is why i when i made the recommendation to aaron the go to all corsair is that it's all run via iq and everything is all stuck via their uh rgb mount their rgb hub which is why it's all synced together right now it looks really good uh i do not a lot of people are not a lot of people are spanish and we try to speak english only on this one just because we don't have spanish protected mods but if you want to go check out takata he is awesome if you're are passionate about making sure that these expeditions are crafted to challenge our community in interesting ways like a horror payday the rundown is divided into different tiers where expeditions in the lower part of the screen take place deeper within the complex the deeper you go the harder the expeditions get what makes the concept of the rundown truly unique is this there's a timer and when it runs out and you update the game the rundown is replaced with a new one a new work order from the warden each new rundown provides a fresh set of challenges for our community to tackle and it's only available until the next rundown arrives oh cool every rundown is different one might contain fewer expeditions that are replaced within a week or two while the next one can contain a larger set of expeditions and last for two months each rundown is tailored to deliver a specific experience a craft we at 10 chambers will keep owning during the early access period yeah that's cool um when you
