producers over at forza uh i don't know anybody here a big forza fan any anybody up and going uh loving forza anybody no no i don't think he's going uh okay anyway forza fans if you like forza then trevor's a large part of making sure that it gets in to your hand so he's been over busy working on i think it's whatever the newest one is i don't even know off the top of my head not horizon he doesn't work on horizon that's uh the fine guys over at playground um but he's working on the main title um and so he's working on that and uh basically uh he is he's he's he's absolutely awesome he's been a mentor of mine forever and so he reached out to me and said hey roby i want to build a pc i need a good pc and so this commission is for him and uh yeah he's working on motorsport eight and so uh the big thing for this is just uh he was like hey i really want a ti and so uh i was like hey man you can't just have any ti we gotta make sure that this is one of the cleanest looking builds i have ever done and that's why you know it's funny because just like we did the 30 90 this yesterday but that's why we're using the 3080 ti in today's build so this is going to be a very very very clean build in fact it's an all vision build uh in terms of we're using the vision d um i think i put vision g in the thing but we're using the vision d uh motherboard and the vision uh the vision uh gpu um as the baseline for this whole thing which should be super super awesome i'm pretty excited about it got my ducky keyboard in the mail today now i just need to finally get a gpu 3990x preach it brother um yeah i'd love to you know that's the thing oh we're towed out be subscribing for one month at tier two ten months of toto uh can i get this pc unfortunately no this belongs to my friend tigger is you should not get bad for you um that i have a gt710 my first pc we just got finished cleaning it so it should be awesome i don't know you guys saw some of those pictures oh by the way oh by the way who who watched the windows 11 reveal today who watched the windows 11 reveal today anybody anybody watching windows 11 real world today i'm curious hard time yeah we're gonna go to the parts in a second i did okay so if you go if you go and you when you get to the part where it talks about gaming and it shows a young lady playing games on a pc that pc is a robbie tech field so i just want to let you guys know um it the pc was a robitech build that was in that was which was in that reveal so if uh if you look at the windows i don't i don't care about windows 11. i care about the fact that the pc that was in there was actually built by robitec and that team used my pc for that that video so that was pretty cool i'm actually pretty stoked about that that's that's that's a that's a pretty awesome that's a pretty awesome thing to put like a nice little feather in the cap when it's like hey that was uh you know hey that's that's you know that's my pc i i built that yeah another feather there that was pretty cool okay let's talk about let's talk about parts and go from there oh by the way uh just real quick i know you guys are like roby let's get started we're gonna get to gaming um by the way if you are into uh if you just want to get a sneak peek i've actually every thursday and we did this a couple weeks ago but every thursday before the stream uh whether it's thursday or friday whichever day we end up uh 15 minutes before i jump on a tick tock just answer questions hang out with folks before the stream just as terms of preparation so we got some questions about hey what i thought about certain aio is what i thought about keyboards all that sort of stuff so if you are following along tick tock just look for that that secret ruby tech go live stream and if you just want to if you haven't been able to ask me a question it's a great chance to kind of get some one-on-one time about 1250 well about 140 people tuned in for like the 10 minutes that i was there but if you just want someone at one time and just to ask some questions it's a good opportunity for you so going from there saw it they sped it up yeah okay here we go let's talk about the parts going in this build today uh for our cpu we're using the intel 11 900k i continue to stop it's not that i seen the praises of the cpu um there are just some still some benefits to going intel specifically with ram compatibility there's some great things from a testing and overclocking standpoint in terms of intel just gives you a little bit more information than you might get from you might get from uh amd that's not to say it's more the most powerful it's not it's still a little bit overpriced but in terms of cooling and everything like that it's still a great cpu and all in all it continues to kind of drop in price uh remember it was like almost 700 bucks now it's like 549 i think it was on sale for the fantastic thing um so again worth checking out if you're an intel fan it's still a good time to put an intel and then the other two is we're still doing a video to see if people actually notice the difference between like a ryzen 9 and an intel just from a gameplay perspective but um i can't argue it's the best i just can't i can still argue if you put it in your pc it's still a viable option so it's uh it's just a thing there's still some people who are big into it and i don't intel gets a lot of hate and in a lot of ways they're they they put it on themselves but the thing is that's not to say that this cpu is absolute garbage specifically given how hard it is sometimes to get amd ryzen and there are some benefits to getting intel so i'm just i'm not saying i'm an intel fanboy i'm just saying it's not all bad okay uh for cooling for this though which is kind of funny uh we are going to be using this we're going to be using the corsair um iq the uh h150i i like this cooler um we've actually already replaced the fans in this with um the ql 120s every fan in here is gonna be a q0120 uh just to basically make sure that it's all good to go and all that sort of stuff we want everything to match we're gonna be using ql120s for the fans for this instead of the white mls that are in there uh for the power supply we're going to be using the cooler master uh v850 gold v2 um i like these power supplies uh uh they have uh they have uh i think they also have a nice warranty so they have a good warranty on them um they're 80 plus gold um 850 watts is born enough power i know it's kind of blocked by the the uh thing the stream deck there um and so uh all in all really enjoy them uh excited a bit about using it and uh uh got got the opportunity to um um i got the the opportunity to uh uh get the um uh get them early for storage and ram because we already have everything else out on the oh out on the table need to drop that so for our cable extensions we're going to be using the uh we're going to be using the asia horse cables for that and then of course we've got two uh 516 kits of corsair vengeance rgb ram and we're going to be using this is their new sl um so we're going to sit that right over there and then of course then we've got 1.5 terabytes of wd black sn750 nvme ssds so uh all in all a nice good clean way uh to basically with uh with everything built in um to uh to get your uh you know to spend 3 500 bucks like a little over 3 500 uh pre-tax to basically get all of this stuff uh kind of in and going from there so but that is uh that's what we got there we go that's the build that we're building today any questions any thoughts other than it's going to look super clean that's all i got to say for the bit love guys yeah it's going to be a clean clean build for sure there we go and there is that i don't know if trevor's watching hopefully he is i don't know if he is but if not hopefully he gets to pop in you guys get to say hi to him but we'll see i haven't seen him usually text me if he's here so here we go and here is our thing okay so let's go and get started because again what we want to do is get to the point where you can actually play some games today as well so let's start by pulling out our vision motherboard now i haven't seen the z590 of this motherboard but i'm actually pretty excited about it let's go to top down here and get going can you explain the difference why 3600 versus 3200 um actually the 3600 is ideal well it doesn't matter as much for intel um but the other thing too is again all in all you are still getting a speed boost and 3 600 megahertz is basically how like with catholic well it's still cl18 so all in all depending it's complicated i started going down my uh rabbit hole here if you do 3200 3200 megahertz at cl 16 you actually have faster ram than 3600 at cl18 um but given this is cl18 and 3200 and versus 3600 again you're still going to get some smaller smaller amount of performance some small performance gain from 36 over 32. that's just kind of the short of it so we're just gonna make apples the apples say between cl 18 and cl 16 uh we're just going to say they're all cl 18 3600 is faster than 3200 and that's just basically its ability to basically transfer stuff through so how does kaz matter versus megahertz on ram so basically kaz right has latency is how how quickly the timings are and then how fast it's able to page things through but cad's latency is just as important as megahertz so i have this default 90 vision g yeah so hopefully that helps it's uh so all in all i would not recommend so trying ram overclocking is a very is a complicated timings thing and it's usually not worth the effort again that's why they do things like xmp and stuff like that which makes it a whole lot easier so 3800 at cl 14 is even better i don't know why my oh you know i should probably turn on my uh one set guys forgot to turn on my thing over here you should see a camera here in just a second i think we turned the k there it is oh now let's zoom in where's my remote there it is there we go okay now we're in okay wow look at that so pretty so this is the vision z590 i'm excited about this build for the simple fact that i i love just clean builds and this one has an opportunity an option look at even the even the wi-fi is super clean looking i'm looking for there i'm looking for m.2 screws make sure i have all that stuff okay so here we go okay there's our motherboard looks heavy oh yeah yeah of course that's what we do we build it live dude that's the whole point build the whole thing right here and then answer questions and hang out and all that sort of stuff and guys some of you guys might be asking questions you're like hey roby you know what's the answer to this or what's this the best thing because it's hard to do it while on stream so i'm kind of paying attention to this or whatever it is and since sometimes i miss stuff so if you do have questions and you're just trying to figure this helps and i i i love getting messages all the time on twitter and instagram about how people watched my videos and then in doing so it helped them build a pc and at least all the combinations that i put together like uh for builds and stuff like that should well in most cases work without issues every once in a while i get i get dangerous but yeah for the most part i try to do ones that i don't okay we got some heels everywhere lots of peels okay there we go i think we got all the peels yes okay so there is our gigabyte board ready to uh kick things off okay so let's open our cpu now okay so we're gonna pop this open right here oh look at that there it is ready to go i like i like how uh intel packages their their cpus i didn't like the dodecahedron as much but this one is actually pretty cool the way it kind of works together okay open it up at the bottom and you get this cool little pops up like that there's our cpu right there i will say like the by the time you actually get to the cpu it's kind of anti-climactic because you're like oh all that pretty you got something kind of cool to show on your shelf if you wanted to knowing that you got like the the big brother high-end cpu there that's popped out huh here we go okay okay so let's put this back in [Music] i always give people the option because they might want this like little plastic thing so sometimes we ship these out because we were like oh i want that it's cool you know there you go i-9 ready okay so we're gonna pop this in here real quick there it is and there is our cpu installed okay let's grab our ram and our storage i wonder what the guys i wonder what the click is going to be like on this oh these are like both sides i don't know these i i've noticed that these both side ones don't sound as good as the uh as like when there's only one so we might we'll have to see oh golden goon wow that's not good yeah it's usually not that hard you don't have to put that much pressure on it is it sponsored components are your personal these are personal thoughts i don't have any i don't for reviews and anything like that i don't get paid for anything like that these are all my choices and i help them choose their builds oh no there's no sponsored if you if i have something in here i don't like i will tell you and i've actually done that on the show where i'm like i don't like this case does anybody remember that monarch case was cursing that thing the whole time yeah i'll tell you how i think of something i mean the thing is is like a lot of times like for instance i like ql fans um the reason i continue to put them in my builds is not because they're the best air performing fans but because the corsair 5000 d is a great airflow case like i can i can put 5000 these uh ql 120s in there and know that they're quiet and still do a good enough job for cooling anything specifically we're using a 360 io to be fine like if i was worried about making like a super high performance rig that i knew was going to get overclocked you know i'd put noctua fans in there like af15s or whatever it was but um there's nothing like if you want to make something that shows and looks good but plus performs okay then ql's are a really good option because there's some of the easiest to change your leds on your rgb change your power your car your fan curves on that's stuff that's just a little bit better for the average consumer so does new egg or amazon ship to you yes they both do um because i live in seattle so it makes it easy um okay what we're gonna do here is you can see there's a little a little uh slot in the pcb i'm gonna line that up like this okay here we go guys is this gonna be good all the white but is it gonna be good here we go oh i was wrong that's like a that's a thick kick like heat sink there okay let's get our sn 750s in there my day's been good thank you for asking appreciate it ryan ultra it's very yeah this this motherboard is very sick i i agree and it's going to look really good with these sm750s again little slot on the pcb just gonna slide it slap it in slap it in just like that there's that one i will tell you this if i would have known that that that pc was going to be on the windows reveal i did not know when i gave it to him that that's what it was going to be used for i would have probably given one of my custom watercolor builds and like really taking it to the next level you know what i'm saying um so i hope i hope they i hope i get to do more with them i hope that this is something that continues to be like i provide like i provide them with with builds um because that would be pretty rad you know you know what i'm saying it's like little showcase builds i know you can good and well you can do uh you can uh thread ripper uh ryzen can do three uh nvmes it just depends on how the motherboard decides to use all the pcb lane the pcie lines you have a job any job openings on your team i do not right now um but sometimes i do cast calls like we do have um like for instance we're doing casting calls for editors and uh they like uh and so we'll do stuff like that but right now i don't have any when you think about it versus 100 with a 79 hub it's actually a pretty good deal um and the other thing too is there's some of the best in terms of controlling like lighting and stuff like that so you're also paying for like that little bit of overhead overhead there but if you're not going to stay in the corsair ecosystem it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to get a corsair aio i'll be honest okay so we've got our bracket on real quick i'm going to grab our legend 5x these it is a nice mobo okay we got this now now we're just going to screw this stuff in and then get ready then we'll be ready to put our motherboard inside of the case luckily guys just to make sure we can try and play some game tonight already mounted the fans to the case so we're good there we should try and get this done i'm trying to have a bitter a better mixture and some more more fun with the thing from there uh gabriel cruz i missed it what the question was yeah z590 is intel guys this is an intel build it says right there intel 11900k we did a ryzen build yesterday 5900x well i mean honestly some of their non-rgb like their non-rgb fans like their ml 120 pro fans are really really good um and so have really good airflow much better than their rgb version uh mythical we did that yesterday literally we built a itx yesterday on the show a pink mini itx build it was great but thank you i will try and gonna you have to get lucky dude honestly if you can get a best buy drop or a or you can sign up for the evga qq i know some people who've actually gotten their stuff from them so it was an option as well okay let's grab our case okay we're gonna put this over here we got the monitor over there now we've already put our fans in what we're doing is just stripping the case down there we go and then so we took the we took the back the rear the rear panel off take our side panel off real quick what i'm going to try and do on fridays is these builds that we've kind of done a lot in cases and stuff like that we'll do a little bit more prep for so that way there's games but like for new cases like when if we like when we're gonna do like the defender pro and stuff like that we'll do those on like a day where we'll just do full builds and you guys will see the whole process really thoroughly because we have a lot of builds within the corsair 5000 d so it's not like if somebody was looking to get help on this we have a lot of options to get them that help already on the channel including our ultimate review if you guys want to check that out we just got released that's one of our most we plug in right now so you guys can see real quick we plugged in our usbc usb 3.2 plugged in our front panel connections right here we plugged in our fan header which is for our fan hub and then we plugged in our hd audio that's what we plugged in so far we got a little bit of finger grease on the shiny bit okay so there you go that's all the front panels connected we're gonna put this out of the way now and get onto our uh hook up our put together our aio the next step zoom out [Music] the fans hold on i forgot one thing guys realized we need this one we're going to use some of this this is an arctic build we're going to use arctic thermal paste because why not where is my oh like where am i doing it looks icy that's right there we go this is called crimiq this is the brand of this thermal paste we're just going to make it all arctic so we already cleaned the other thermal paste off of the front off of the um aio so there's don't worry there's people are going to be like oh there's already some on there that you're right there is not on this ai where you take it off cover this all the way nice solid ihs cover [Music] there we go looking good now we're going to get a little bit more right there and get a nice solid thin layer of thermal paste all right cool okay now we can put our aio together go put that in there that in there the screw what screw what screw what i don't know for sure but and it is it's nice every once in a while and not have to worry about all the cables here we go oh okay now fun part i like it when when you got some good tooling like that back in not as painful as some of the things i was doing yesterday with that in that mini itx build you know what i'm saying but we got it done and nothing at least i realized it now it's installed guys way to remind me way to remind me guys that one motherboard screen we are testing thursdays uh fridays have actually been like some of our worst viewership days um just because people are going out and that's uh that's a good thing right so people are going out and enjoying their uh enjoying their weekends and so uh and getting into the sturdy start so i'm looking at basically potentially moving the streams to thursday and these are a couple of the tests plus i'm leaving uh to go on vacation with my family tomorrow uh but i'll be back and then of course streaming from mod monday on monday um so it's just kind of it came in like an opportune time we'll see if it works better uh right now viewership is it's okay it's getting up to it's like we viewership hasn't been as good as it typically is but some of that is just like the weather's gotten good and so we're testing it and seeing what works we're gonna go to universal studios and which my kids are really excited about and getting all the getting all the this is like the slowest part of the build as we get all of the rgb and fans so this is the part where i appreciate my community the most because you guys seem to stick and then we're good actually going a little quicker than i thought it would luckily i've done this a lot oh there's that one one more there it is these what you do is you just slowly pull you want to make sure that none of your fan things are tangled into them okay so here's our rgb five and six okay there's that and then we're going to grab our fans here run these that makes sense to put these down here go okay last fans go one more after this believe it or not all of our rgb and fans are now hooked up that was a lot you know it seemed like a lot to you guys but it actually was a lot of stuff we're gonna do now start to cable can't manage just this part a couple places we zip tie this just to get it down we do the spine method for my live shows and that just means i mean outside of like some small clumps for the most part we want everything just into a one giant spine is kind of what we're looking for here same thing with these but still all one cable that we have managed here there's like just one spine of basically control cables and some people might say well roby it's you know it's going to get held behind a door it's like yeah but there's still like it's still about what about making it look nice you know it's the look that pays for a quality pc build i want to give them a quality piece there there there's that those are all managed now now what i'm going to do is i'm going to take my cable here here go around the other side side there we go okay cool now what we do is we basically run these nicely into the spine here of this cable group it just takes a little bit of an angling as you just kind of work your cables figure out how they kind of draw in but it will nicely dry and see it's starting to do it already nicely kind of draws into fine hair tables looks nice and now we need what we're doing here is just getting it cleaned up little bit bigger for these spines there's that one slowly too crazy but we want to it's basically about creating like almost 90 degree angles for the stuff that we are gonna have here so for these thicker cables and then press kind of good again that's that need one more set right there i'm gonna get this one settled that'll be kind of it [Music] and then everything else is going to kind of now what we're going to do is turn these and get these done that's not that's not a thing this is these are all power cables [Music] these are going to go right here i think right there okay so let's get these hooked up real quick and that'll take care of all of our front panels hooked up including the two things and then we can finish doing all of our cable management we can get all this stuff kind of figured out okay almost the gpu time guys okay so usb one and two there's usb 1. there is usb 2. pop that down okay there we go now we can finish the little bit of cable management on this side start popping our gpu in okay so we got his options here not a whole lot okay what we can do is just simply create like a nice little here for this take care of that these really worried about well not done here okay these what we're going to do is do the same thing but do like a reverse spine thing so they go they basically will get still wound in to the spine but they'll just get brought up and taut and then kind of straightened out a little bit of work nothing crazy like that there you go in the nut gets those cleaned up here's our bigger cables here just take some patience by the way guys don't don't have to rush it about basically being patient and it'll just kind of fit in there nicely uh no big deal don't we don't want to crimp these too hard the main thing we're just trying to do is get them crimped enough redo this one that capture that one angler there yeah you don't want to crimp them too hard because again we're not trying to crimp the cables we're just trying to have it controlled it looks nice oh okay those will get held down with this so we basically oh okay now we have one little i guess i could fix i guess i could get this in there i guess i wasn't thinking here one more time fortunately good cable management what i'm going to do is put this on the underside of it like that that way it as well manage really well okay this should be that and then we can flip this over and start putting our gpu in okay oh we're at 107 guys i'll get that fixed here in a minute keeping the spacing out on this okay again you have a nice even look here cable management now minus our power cables which we're gonna run actually we should forget about that i'm never afraid to redo little zip ties it makes it a little bit easier i guess you could do it with if you wanted to you could do it with velcro i don't find i find velcro doesn't stay as tight and honestly these things are so cheap cutting them if you have like one of these you have one of these really good like cutters is really easy it's just easy to kind of do and it just does it better i think it does a better job my opinion this will make sure that the power cables are coming to the plate place one more time we're going to redo these one more time one more time gonna celebrate one another another big right here go oh and then one more right there and now we have done it over cables will run to the right corner there we go okay now cables are managed now we got to do the fun part of clipping off all the stuff whip clip flip and clip and now what we can do is just rotate these around they're more entwined with the build blaring there you go now you've got a cable managed build ready for the next stage there this one i would say not a bad smell it's actually got a little bit of mr clean to it so it could be a potentially it's a white candle smell there we might have to do a white candle for that but yeah
