Valentines PC Build Livestream - Giveaways + $2500 Build in o11 Mini (Ryzen 5600x / Strix 3080)

you guys so much but before i do all that stuff i am going to go ahead and hit the record button because we need to actually record this show today because we're building in a new case and this is going to be a cool episode with a 0-1-1 dynamic on hitting record and getting that going there what is up what is up what is up what is up guys new logo is live i don't know couple things i don't know if you guys even noticed um i don't even if you think you noticed or maybe you did that also the logo the word mark has changed too so i even on the indicators oh that's a really loud one so even the word mark for the thumbs and stuff like that has also changed as well so um no it's the 009 dynamic mini is actually a new case it launched we i've actually had it since this uh since early january it has been for sale um it has been for sale since january we just wanted to find a special build to build it in so it is new to roby tech it is also a so it's a new case to ruby tech but it is a relatively new case um it's not for sale even on new egg it's only on amazon right now um and they're pretty hard to get so uh look at the ryzen cpus oh yeah sorry yeah there's ryzen cpus up there um yeah this is the 0-1 dynamic mini it's not just the normal one kt 231 wow already 34 subs we're just now getting uh we're already going uh i'll take let's do the let's do the watermelon no the everything logged in um i am so sorry let me start with that i am so sorry guys that uh it has taken me ck given it out already get taking it up to 60. um i am so sorry that i have that we have not had a stream since the weekend uh the hope was to actually do this stream on saturday uh and then we had snow and then monday we just had what was basically left of the snow which we seattle is just not prepared but i actually lost power for nine hours on saturday and then we just had a lot of like because we had lost so much power just bled over into monday and so i'm super sorry for not having this the streams it's pushed back some it's pushback it's just caused a lot of issues so i apologize for not being here i'm glad we're back on it we're back on track we're back getting into it and all that sort of stuff so i'm super sorry for that i know a lot of people in texas and other people in in the us right now are dealing with the same issues that we are dealing with um and we're dealing with in in a much larger scale so uh thank you so much for the uh thank you so much for the grace we will do some extra some extra dad jokes just to make up for it but yeah everybody's safe everybody's good um my wife uh just couldn't sleep much last night so she ended up having to uh she ended up having to take the day and and basically sleep so i didn't get for those of you who are yet i'll talk about the giveaways uh here in a minute but let's go through what is happening today so um originally saturday the day before valentine's day um we were going to do the valentine's day build we we've we've customized uh we've customized the deep cool aio and all this sort of stuff and just you guys can kick off valentine's day right like all of you guys were looking for that that motivation to to to have like a just a romantic valentine's day i apologize for not being there but um originally what it started and it it it jumped the shark a little bit is that we had talked about doing an all pink build and uh as part of that all pink builder like hey ruby why don't you do an all pink build and i was like oh well we're so close to valentine's let's do a valentine's build hey guys hold on we got a trey showed up so hold on let me get a mic uh so you can get up you can get on here so we're gonna do an all pink valentine's build um and then i started looking at builds and then said oh well we should do this white one dynamic and then i'll do like pink cables and i was like no let's do streamer cables and so um it completely morphed away from a pink build to basically what is essentially an all-white build um and with pink accents and custom logoage and stuff like that so that's uh that's how it changed so i apologize we still owe you guys an all pink build at some point but we decided to do this for the valentine's build so uh good good thank you brian glaze for saying that we're all good so i appreciate that um so we're going to do the 0-1-1 dynamic today this is the 0-1 dynamic mini this is the there is now three versions of this case there's the 0-1-1 dynamic the 0-1-1 dynamic xl and now the mini which is uh which you've started to see kind of uh showing you start to show up there there haven't been a ton of builds in this case so it's still relatively new in terms of uh showing making its way around the tech tube and tech talk um tech tube and tech talk like community so this will be probably one of the earliest builds by far the first live stream build um that has been done uh with this case so um which should be good so you guys are gonna get to see firsthand ask questions and all that sort of stuff as we build so that's what's happening today uh for those of you who don't know the show is a tech show i'm sure we probably have a bunch of new people here as we now have close to a thousand people here already this show everything happens every monday wednesday friday typically at uh 5 30 p.m pacific time um and so and then the focus is usually builds that's you know it's funny i talk about tech news but now tech news has kind of moved into its own youtube into our into our youtube channel uh tech deals we talk about but only when there's big specific sales and then of course most of time we just do builds and and for the last probably for the next three builds that'll really be uh looking at new cases we're gonna be looking at a new case from aza um which um i know people are excited about we're also gonna be showing and that's the the blackout build so very little rgb we're also showing a new case from xpg so we're going to be getting some new stuff in there and then we've got some new stuff from fractal and some others coming up as well um i did want to also let you know that on the 25th we obviously uh already obviously you know the 3060 is launching on the 25th we've got our video coming out with all of the benchmarks for that so we'll be showing you all the stuff about the benchmarks but given how multiplayer is different uh for the 3060 we're going to be doing a live stream right around when the embargo lifts um so right around the embargo we'll do a live stream and then if you want to come and see how multiplayer games like uh fortnite call of duty um and then we'll also show some cyberpunk we're gonna be doing a live stream so you guys can see that stuff live it's a lot harder to benchmark that given um how different it is we're going to we're going to take some averages over there and we'll compare it to the 30 60 and the 3060 ti so look for that on the 25th we'll have more details as we get a little bit closer when i know an exact time um the youtube you'll see on the youtube channel it'll actually show when that stream is going to go to premiere and stuff like that but yeah if you want to come and check out what the 3060 is going to be like we'll have that so the day of so that way you guys can go and make a more educated purchase if you're able to get your hands on one which is always the thing so 3060 is launching on february 25th now let's talk about giveaways since i know that's something that people always want to know about so what are the giveaways that are happening today first one that always happens is for the level five hype train uh if we get two level five hype trains uh in uh in a show then we give away a 250 gig nvme drive uh in the since april of last year which is when we're actually coming up on our one year anniversary here streaming on twitch since april of last year um we have yet to not give away that so there's that so we've yeah that that is that's getting updated so um all that stuff is wrong uh so is th blondie is asking is this pcb no this pc is not being given away this is just a build just a just a build that will get taken apart uh when will stores restock on gpus so i've had a bit of information on this basically guys uh 3080s 3070s have been showing up pretty consistently i'd say probably i think they've been on the shuffle three of the five days that have had shuffles um 3080s and then we had a small restock of 30 80s and 37 on best buy a week and a half ago um given chinese new year which has been a big issue which just ends tomorrow so i think they got it people are coming back to work as of tomorrow uh in a lot of places and then the semiconductor shortage both of those things have caused a real problem with manufacturing pipelines so i would expect you will start seeing 3080s be more consistently showing up in retailers within the next week or two maybe even longer but we're still gonna have a bit of a drought uh that could last all the way into march uh is the rumor i always figured just april would probably be the best time to bite uh i think when you some people are always asking when am i gonna just go into a store and buy one november it's gonna be a long time so it's it's it's just it's got delayed again because yeah when the consoles and everything launch they're saying april but then with everything yeah shortages of all of a sudden it's it's just it's brutal guys and you know a lot of people have seen like we have just been we've been doing builds but i haven't done like i haven't done commission builds like the commission builds i'm gonna do this week and next week one is a 30-70 the other two are 30 90s but i got the 30 90s at the end of december i haven't i haven't all of my 30 80 commissions are still sitting and waiting for gpus like i am not doing like the reason i'm doing the builds is i'm just recycling gpus that i have in stock or and notice they're all 30 70s they're not 3080s because i just don't have any 3080s um and it's just because there's just a massive shortage so it's gonna be pretty good um yeah so that's what's going on who's ready to start talking about i really wish that i could see the number the number doesn't work right now um for a restream it hasn't worked for a while yeah it didn't work last week um lenny who's ready to talk about parts list who's ready to talk about parts list who wants it so it's going into uh says why will their why would they have a new 36 but all the others are having issues with stock so for what i understand um and i i did ask this question and from unnamed sources i can't name names but basically 30 60 development habits start like 30 60s were done when we saw the announce they already had board partners already had boards the reason that the this this was delayed as long as it has was so board partners could produce a ton of 30 60s and actually get them to the us before um before they basically before they uh before they uh now would announce when the launch date would be so the thing was is that they had they had unlike nvidia had learned from previous launches that um they needed to give aib or board partners more time to actually produce cards now what does that mean that means that we're probably going to see a pretty large number of 30 60s that are going to be available rumor is in the u.s i have a new story coming out tomorrow in europe it's far worse in fact there's rumor that european european european um uh hardware stores will be selling them for up to a 50 markup which is insane now nvidia actually like for nvidia is actually supposed to be stopping this but there's even stuff where people are basically having retailers who are canceling pre-orders and then telling people that they have to buy them at the marked up price given what this is i don't know what it's going to be like in the u.s i'm assuming given that nvidia is announced and some of these are supposed to have come in pre-tariff that we are supposed to see the 30-60 available at the msrp announce uh around what nvidia said it was going to be but we're going to have to wait until the 25th to see what actually comes true and we should know that probably middle of well that 25th is like what just over a week away so it's a little yeah thursday next week so we should know probably monday what prices are going to actually be like on resellers now i will tell you like people like newegg amazon like they can't do that because um they like the thing is is like the law does not allow like nvidia could say hey i'm going to pull basically pull selling you boards and also make aibs not be able to sell boards through those things so amazon and newegg will have their prices set by uh companies like evga gigabyte they set the prices in which newegg sells those cards um but um it's there are like smaller places um like a micro center which i know wouldn't do this but there are smaller places that could potentially uh sell you the cards at what they're calling msrp which could be up to 50 more so it's it's pretty bad right now we just have 2021 which is 2020.1 i i must say uh 2021 is turning into this really weird uh state in which we just have all of this odd stuff happening and it's just the between um chinese new year tariffs the the the semiconductor shortage and all that stuff all combined together is just making it just kind of a bit a bit of a mess so yeah um yes we're live on twitch yeah huh so yeah that's what's going on yeah we're live on twitch and we're live on youtube as well so anyway let's get started i know i've kind of i could just i hadn't got to chat with you guys so i did go a little longer than i wanted to let's talk a little about parts that are going in the build today um hopefully you learned something from here we're 127 already almost 150 let's see we can get um starting with the cpu in this and the motherboard we'll kind of combine these together we're going to be sticking in a ryzen 5 5600 x this is my 2020 cpu of the year um honestly i will tell you the other thing too is that if you're looking for new cpus and you're curious like these are great cpus but right now intel has been there there's a there's a price reduction on intel cpus 10 700 k the 10 600 k and the 10 850 i've all dropped in price uh by anywhere between 15 and 22 which makes them a far better bargain and much more available than amd cpus i know that's weird for us to say stuff like this especially but really crazy prices for amazing cpus right now so if you are looking for a good cpu and you've been saying hey i've been waiting for amd now may not actually be a bad time to go pick up a uh have a kind of a switch like you're only losing like five to ten percent in terms of your performance at 1080p but for 4k and everything else and intel cpu is a really great great option and you're you're paying not much for it which is crazy so there's our 5600x this is your 6 core 12 thread and then for the uh motherboard in this case we're actually going to be using whoops wrong one not that one either i'm hitting all the wrong buttons hitting all the wrong buttons uh we're going to be using the b550m steel legend this does not have bios flashback i know you're probably thinking crap he's going to have to breadboard which means we're not going to end the stream until 10 30. no we flashed it before the stream so don't worry this is already flashed to the latest bios uh luckily i have my amazing tech director uh kevin who has already done and prepped this for this as well the other thing that we also did is i know that on the parts list we were going to use an sn750 but we actually already have an sn550 that has an os on it so when we get this done we can pop it in change the colors and make it actual uh you guys will get to see the valentine's day build in all of its pink and white glory um tonight instead of having to wait until pictures and the vod releases later so we tried to think about that stuff um so we can make the the stream a little bit shorter and you guys get some sort of payoff there at the end so um m.2 in this case is gonna be the sn550 we'll still show you how to install that stuff but we have that right here ready to go okay um for our ram and this is actually going in a giveaway pc a little bit later we have a one of these builds here here's here's a hint if you ever want to know when i'm going to be giving away a pc on stream because people are always asking you're like hey you might give away a pc on stream if you see me use this ram this might be a build that i'm just going to give the way that pc on stream so if you see this white ram don't worry it's not today this build is not being given away today but if you see this white ram and all of a sudden you're like oh this is your ticket to say oh this could be a pc that robbie's just randomly going to give away on stream so um this is this was given us to t-force cooler master sponsoring that build a little bit later on but we're going to be using that for the build today i really like this ram uh it's 3600 3600 at cl 18. yeah cl-18 so not the tightest timings but you know oh it's 3 800. oh wow 3600 i can't tell if it's a 38 or 30. i'm getting old dang it that 38 or 36 it's hard to read i think it's 36 i guess 36 but it's on the front right here that's hard to read isn't it that's bad print it is it's bad print you can't tell i think it's 36. i think it's 36. so it's 36 yeah this this this one over here down here is easier to read it's 36. oh it's three oh there it is oh yeah i could read it so it's 3600 cl18 so not the tightest timings but still um it's you know hey thank you team t-force for sending us that and using that from there um for our gpu really excited about this because everybody loves it when we use strixes so this is the rog strix 3070 white um we are we are going to be doing we're doing a really rad intel rocket lake build which is going to have the white version i think of the 30 90 of this it might be the 30 80. we are giving that pc away rumor maybe um but yes we are going to be using the 3070 version um somebody said how hard was it to get the white it is very hard this was a lot of work to get a hold of this card um because it's funny because i think they they have a limited number that they run and then they stop selling them so if like you didn't get it the initial run um then they may not be back again um and that's just that's just a i don't know that's an asus thing i don't know why they did it um but yeah you excited to use this this is gonna look great inside of this case yeah um and really excited about this so there's our there's our gpu it's going to look good um for our aio aiaio and psu we're using some deep cool main reason i wanted to use this was because i wanted to hey i wanted white and the only thing too is i wanted to customize this so our friend brian actually made us a custom robitech heart that we're going to be using in the i o it's apparently in here yeah our our creative director and then creative director we have our vfx this is our 850 watt sfx psu that we're going to be basically be using this requires an sfx no they don't make a white this is a small form factor so small form factor psu so this is the uh good luck getting these these are almost as hard to get as freaking gpus right now uh these are 850 watt and for making small form factor pcs they get a cooler masterpiece up with this um but yeah this is the air 800 these are fantastic between them i think it's these guys silverstone and no these guys not silverstone dang it who is the other one i always i always get silverstone and them mixed up and it's not silverstone somebody will remind me here in a minute uh corsair and no it is silverstone oh see sonic thank you see sonic also makes a 850 watt um 850 watt small form factor um oh so it might be silver so maybe silverson does i think but anyway it's i think it's c sonic um and the psu will not be visible it'll be in the back so you can't even see it anyway so um there is but great psu it was one of my ps it was my runner-up for uh psu of the year um from cooler master okay and then finally uh why not because everybody loves these fans and it's a lienly build um uh liam lee sl120 sl140s and then we have some exhaust here so we're going to be using these absolutely incredible uh lee lee sl fans um we've got a couple sets people these are unfortunately at a higher than markup price they are for sale right now on amazon and also on newegg um they're regularly 79.99 for three you can buy them for i think 120 right now yeah i know i bought some um that if you wanted to basically pick these up these have been these have been incredibly hard to get very very popular um you'll see why when we actually do the install for these uh a little bit later on but yeah great fans uh excited to get to use these um and thank you to lean lee for uh uh the ones that we have had up until this point um and then of course because we have to have pink uh and we have to have more rgb we're gonna be using the liam lee uh streamer uh cables here um we used these in the build last week uh on friday um and so we're going to be doing them again here unlike the evga the rog is actually already ready for this so we won't have to flip these around or anything like that so yeah we're going to be using the this is the special triple pin edition which is crazy the 30 70 requires a triple pin um and then we've got the 24 pin uh just trimmer plus here so we're going to be using this it's going to have lots of rgb all pink and white and awesome so there is that youtube you are you're doing a much better job than last week i'll say that youtube what are they doing oh they're likes oh good so yeah that's what's going on uh what do we somebody's asking what do we do with the finished builds most of them are commissions but most of them actually get taken apart and the parts get put back into their boxes and then they get recycled for future builds so yeah that's what they are rg and then finally oh i forgot to talk about jersey that you're wearing oh this is my my houston one my houston outlaws um here we go side right here we also have our obviously case um i had mine special made at the overwatch league where can i get that so yeah this is our case this is the 0-1 mini we're going to be showing this off this is a pretty awesome modular case um so you'll see that we're going to change the actually change this quite a bit uh to make it work for our build today which is something that's really crazy about this particular case so yeah that is that is it right little tour this is a different board than what you are typically used to here on the show usually we have atx motherboards this is micro atx like i was saying we actually have a cool little right here actually see the difference between this is like an atx versus a micro atx let's zoom out a little bit so you want to see the difference in terms of overall size there you can see the red here is actually the how big an atx board is versus micro atx and then you have mini dtx and mini itx here so we're using a micro atx motherboard right here so that's what that is so we're fitting in there and we'll zoom in and so you guys can actually see us put in the cpu and all that stuff anyway so there you go got to see it live right there okay cool so a couple things uh usually with an atx board you'll actually see it have you actually see it have more expansion slots this has a by 16 and a by 8 and a by one in terms of your your options for your expansion slots we've got a single m.2 uh actually we got two you got a m.2 here and then another one underneath this underneath this heatsink up here uh we've got a uh uh eps we've got an af4 pin and an eight pin uh vrm here uh which is underneath um i don't know how many phases but it's it's an okay in terms of the overall phase options here for vrm this your vrm is actually what controls the power that goes into these capacitors are what controls the power and manages the power for what goes into your cpu so for overclocking uh what kind of voltages you can get excited like that that's why uh bigger both bulkier more expensive uh motherboards have uh better vrm solutions um if you really it matters if you're gonna do a ton of overclocking for most people it really doesn't right here we've got two fan headers these fan headers are for our cpu and stuff like that uh these are cpu and aio we have uh the cool thing about mini at micro atx is that unlike mini itx which is the smaller version even smaller than this you actually do get four dimms and you still get dual channel here we have channel and channel b so we can do up to four dimms uh this is right here this is our 24 pin atx motherboard power this powers the other three quarters of the motherboard we've got usb 3.0 usb 3 right here we've got six six sata connections it doesn't look like we get usbc which is kind of a bummer but we don't have usbc down here on the bottom we have uh front panel connectors another usb3 so we actually have two usb 3 which this does not support but if we if we were using this in like an 0-1 dynamic xl which would look pretty funky um we would actually that'd be pretty cool another fan header these are usb 2 right here which is for things like aios sometimes rgb software like chroma uh your lighting node pros from corsair they'll plug in here these are like think of them as like internal like internal like controllers and that's what this is for i got another couple fan headers right here we've got an rgb addressable rgb a 12 volt a 25 volt and a 12 volt non-addressable we've got hd audio and then we've also have right here which is super interesting this is an m.2 wi-fi slot uh this is for this is uh basically just for wi-fi you could that's which are usually the ones that are only about that size um and then uh for i o we actually have quite a bit we've got um usb we've got usbc so even if you don't have the front panel you still have it on the back uh and then you've got your internet your and then your hd audio and all that sort of stuff and then you've got an additional fan header right here so that's the motherboard tour that's what we're working with today and it should be awesome let's get our cpu in yeah again we wanted something white and black so that's why we kind of chose what we did let's go ahead and peel though this has an integrated i o shield which is always nice and then we have some there we go okay good we're good to go there boom okay let's get our cpu in 5600 x which is what we're currently working on giving away right now 153 on our way to rubytech someone's burning something yeah i know outside something's cooking i don't know man the people likes door barbecue a lot and they do a lot of stuff so okay grab our there's our 5600x ready to go so what we're going to do is we're going to take this and take it up to 90 degrees pop this out there we go and we're just going to set this in sideways just like that wiggle it a little bit make sure it's good flip it down and there we go cpu is installed we're ready to go there already okay uh next up let's for the for picture sorry should you upgrade uh to a 5950x from a 3950x uh it's it's a if you're a gamer there is a lot to gain from doing that if you're not if you know but it's like it you know given the price and availability i don't know if it's really worth the money it just depends if your 1080p would be the only place that you're really getting a benefit from them i asked also should i get a 1080p 360hz or 1440p to 40 hertz depends on what you want to do uh uh if you have a if you have a 3080 or 3090 uh 1440 is gonna get more benefit you get very little benefit from a uh get very little benefit i'm putting these on right probably not no i'm not uh you're getting very little benefit from uh from a high-end gpu at 1080p i'm on fire here right now okay what we want to do is we want to see if this will fit that's what we're testing right now 30 80 msi then i would do a 1440p you're going to get for if you're if you want to do a 360 hertz then a 5950x is gonna help you more with that and then uh because like i said you're gonna get most of your power from your cpu in that case um but i would do two i'd rather do 240 at 1440p yeah and really flex that ms that 3080. but you're you're going to get more like you're still going to be a little bit c yeah no 240 should be fine with the 3080 at 1440p so yeah even then you don't even need to change your cpu at that point too either okay the question here comes the big question guys can i can i use this aio with this motherboard i should be able to it feels like it's gonna fit but we'll find out that one is a bit motherboard into the pc uh it depends i've done it both ways uh in certain motherboards like because the brackets can be really loose i have a tendency like this one specifically because of how loose the screws can be it's a little easier to do it this way um but it's really a personal choice either way works um so it really is like i've done either both ways and both ways work for me basically all your cables for the all of the sl 120s pretty awesome now we're going to do grab our little radiator and things get these screwed in and we're gonna do the first two with a regular screwdriver i your dust filters off okay and then in the back there's another similarly no another similar one back here in the back we're gonna have to use the wow stick for too much too get loose a little bit loosen this one up there it goes pops off just like this now there's two you know two dust filters here in the back for these little side ones if you want to use them there you go so that goes like that if you want to use the dust filters there for that arctic wolf says just check the menu on deep cool's website for the am4 and you're supposed to use this oh good i have not been doing that which is like uh it is just i've always used the other one so that's good to know it says amd on it so well that's good to know okay there we go okay that is all installed this is all stripped now one of the things that's really great about this case is this case works for atx micro atx and me and mini itx at the same time and over here on the back there's actually a whole this whole thing right here is modular so we can actually so right now it's set up for if you wanted to full atx build and that's why the thing but what we're going to do is we're going to unscrew this and actually move this down and that'll allow us to actually put in the micro atx have room for the aio on the top um we may have to move around our our standoffs but we'll have room for the uh the ai on the top and then all that sort of stuff so we're actually gonna change the layout of the build a little bit which is pretty neat this is one of the things i really enjoy about this case so you're gonna use these back screws remove these back screws here you see that's gonna allow this whole thing this whole top one is kind of connected 27 more lights on the youtubes we're seeing we're just going to take this whole thing apart like this music's loud okay we can turn it down and then what we're going to do is we're going to move this down just like this we just gotta figure out how to get it back in here and it's just like this we're running more in the middle now this is how i actually now change the layout for this whole build now we've got more room at the top we're going to do is take this oops and mount gotta do some gotta do some figuring out okay but now the case has all been the case has all been reconfigured now it works better and i'll be able to put the aio and all that stuff in okay cool so now we've reconfigured now you can look at this look at the build you can see that we've actually moved the whole bottom slot down so now we have a ton more room here at the top for an aio because we've got we've created the room so we're going to throw the motherboard in here install our aio and then we'll put in our other fans let's throw in our 140 fans first though they're gonna go right here and then we'll put everything else around it so grab our sl 140s and there's a different bracket in the box oh for the top okay let me look in the box look at that guys oh you know what the boxes are over here it's in here it's in here is what they're saying i still got it in they're saying use one of these that was use this okay well we'll do that thank you for letting me know that okay there we go we'll use this they're saying use the right bracket ruby that makes a whole lot more sense and actually i'm going to go ahead and remove this lower bracket too as well so that way i can because i don't need i'm not going to use this bottom gpu stop well now hey that's much more helpful i will i definitely will move the standoffs i knew about that okay so now let's install this in here this goes right down here and then now now it's reconfigured it was i knew it was movable i mean you did move everything i did move everything yeah okay so there we go we got all our brackets out now there's all and then again it also has it also has a universal pump mount in the box as well which is pretty cool so and then there's some other looks there's some something underneath okay well it's got a couple of universal pump mounts which is pretty rad that side camera oh yeah there we go we got two universal pump mounts which is pretty awesome and then it also has uh some additional stuff here there's some additional addition like this also or blocking other parts of it so there's actually quite a bit in as well and then they actually have another amount more like a more universal pump mounts in here as well so it's actually a lot of uh oh it's over there yeah sorry i'll show you guys again i'm sorry yeah here we go so uh other stuff that we're showing as well is we also had comes with multiple different pump mounts right so you got multiple different plot mounts radiator pump mount all that sort of stuff as well and then these are those like i said we've got the one that basically blocked that we just replaced these with so that way we could you could do an atx mini itx options as well and then the other thing that's in here is it's got yeah it's got a water pump water pump bracket two water pump bracket three this is a motherboard extension bracket so we might end up using this and what this does is when you come here the cam uh cam link we'll see where this was this actually allows you to put a longer motherboard in here so you like put this in here and then you end up with a longer motherboard so we'll see if we need that that's what this is for and it's got stand-ups already on it and then that is and then again more these are all additional water mount brackets so it actually has quite a bit in terms of modularity it's pretty rad that goes like install a larger motherboard which is what i'm working on right now i'm just looking to see what screws when you install the extension five slot and they're showing all the things so we're going to do five so the five slot is where we're going to put all our our standoffs which is fine but i'm going to say a okay a is what oh that sounds like an f i'm looking for f i'm looking for the screws there should be four of them they're little fat fatty and this is this should prove to you don't be afraid okay these really [Music] no those are those aren't them [Music] okay f is like there's only four of these so let me find them and then i'll show you which ones you want to use i feel like there's a screw these are not okay so these are not them these are all the and ones i'm trying to find the different bag okay so don't they're in a separate bag there's two bags that come with the mini the uh the uh dynamic and they're different they come with different and so they look the ones for the extensions are flat of course and they look like this so they're much much smaller screws so we're gonna put these in and that's gonna allow us to have our there we go we're just installing our motherboard extension right now i love the modularity of this case there's always a little bit of a learning curve as you work with it but very very cool and i like super impressed with just okay now what we're going to do is we're going to take this right here this is uh this is like a special kind of tool and it's for allowing you to remove standoffs we're going to use this to remove the standoffs they don't need we're gonna prepare the standoffs for what it's called five slot mode they're all labeled that other picture you posted is pretty now what we're going to do is we're going to take this and see where it says five they're all labeled five that's where we're actually gonna put our screws is in the five slot one we've actually got to move like all of these removing all our standoffs there we go i'm gonna take this right here unfortunately our mic is all is both on the same channel why is he saying you're quiet yeah that's just me i i don't talk loud i'm a i'm a quiet person okay there you go so there are those are in and then we're just going to do is loosen these up and move these like gordon from block over there we go we're going to undo these and move these to five as well these are going to be ready for micro for the micro atx and why it's called five slot is because you could do five slots for support for the actually i think this would i think i actually did want it no this is only doing three okay oh my gosh let's see oopsie okay you wish you wish you would be able to do that well there we go okay one more set of screws to put in we're going to take like that then what i'm going to do is i'm going to at least screw these the motherboard in slightly so that way it doesn't move and then we can put in the oh there's a standoff right there okay so there's a couple places that it didn't install standoffs we have a lot of amd confused okay you're asking why why why is it always amd bpu's not intel on one sec guys okay all right guys i'm trying to get the right ones in the right hole so give me a second uh what was the question why why are why are we always using amd cpu's intel uh we do we do we actually the thing is we use intel we use intel sometimes uh just a lot of times for commissions for commissions um they uh like most people request uh amd cpus that's why we use them there um for uh these builds i think the reason that i chose this is because they didn't have a nice white uh micro atx build for intel that's why i chose this one so it was an aesthetic purpose in this case wow usually it goes and you usually have the white mobos and not necessarily i mean i like i love like the i think with 11th gen like we'll have a lot more of those options again um but in this case yes it was just mostly because you're seeing a ton of those options okay there we go let's go ahead and now install our we're just going to screw in the bottom ones and then we'll put in our aio and there we go we have all the standoffs in the right place now this is great here we go [Music] okay standoffs are in okay now what we can do is put this sideways i'm going to mount our aio real quick a-i-a-i-o oh and i oh this is like red okay well except for first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna remove our backwards fans this is why we this is why i like to do it more when i install them i just installed the fans the wrong way luckily with this set of fans and the reason you might be asking is like what is it about it i want the cable on the other side and so that's why i'm doing this luckily the wow stick makes fast work [Music] oh now all of our fans are in everything is installed oh we i know we have fans we're gonna put at the bottom but basically we're in we're actually in like really good shape and because if this is a liam lee case and we have that giant area we actually don't have a little bit easier in terms of installing the uh like cable management we don't have to be as crazy because there's just a giant place to shove all the cables today this isn't a build that's being shipped out okay what what is a vadro rtx it's a uh it's a uh it's a uh card from nvidia it is a um it's usually a higher it's a higher end card and it's usually made for like things like um deep alert deep machine learning etc it's not a typical card they're expensive very expensive cards excuse me three to five thousand it's like higher end than a than a higher end than a like a titan but it's not made for it's not made for gaming at all like people who do 3d rendering stuff like that will use them um but yeah not something you would see on our show very often or at all i don't think we think we've had unless somebody like does a commission wants like a quadro build i know linus has put him in his things but they're not they don't have good game like they're not great gaming cards but if like you just want to flex and put like make a really expensive pc you could you could use that look at me we got parts that i got stuff in here that isn't useful to the normal player you know like that's what you can do okay okay so now our build is looking good needs some now we're going to go ahead and run our kind of run our cables where they need to go this does not have a good spot for running north which is kind of interesting oh it's right i guess it's just a little bit wacky in terms of the um for the cable stuff so that's kind of interesting like our cable runs are going to be a little bit weirder than normal yeah yeah that's the last song but she knows which means we've now been at like two hours for sure okay so what we're doing here is we're going to run our cable stuff into this okay so i'm going to run it top top like this pull our cables into the top here then we're going to zip tie this group together real quick and that will keep all the cables here all together perfect and we'll pull down later okay okay now okay so all of our k like we've got our cables managed for the front um now we can start to i mean actually you know it's funny i can go ahead and if we wanted to which probably is a good idea just to get it out of the way is mount r is mount our uh bottom 120 fans all our fans are mounted so let's do that real quick mount our bottom 120 fans and we'll get the music started again as you can see i've also camo manage up here and we're good there as well so pc is just for the stream and we'll have that like that there we go there's all our fans let me go and run this down not a lot in terms of cable management here because there's not a lot of a lot of the cables are going to be pretty straightforward to kind of get done it's gonna be nice we just gotta hook up our front panels these are gonna go up here and be hidden let's see those i wish i lived four hours away from a micro center and there we go okay cool so there that's all done we're going to install our next sl 120s which are going to go on the bottom here i'm going to remove our little dust filter like that we only need one accessory box which is cool because all these fans can be controlled by a single accessory box there we go opening up our fan box these can go back in here okay and this now just the only thing i need out of here is fan screws yep what makes a laptop good to choose from cooling uh cpu performance or kind of the best one or and then gpu like does it have a discrete gpu kind of the best are the ones that you want to choose from okay guys so that fan is in those fans are ready to go in open our rear one too so we'll have all of our fans ready to go okay that and okay so now all of our there's our rear fan we'll have all of our fans we'll have a total of nine fans which is pretty typical for a liam for a part for a uh um 0-1-1 dynamic build even though this is a smaller on1 dynamic build we're going to go ahead and put together our fans real quick okay there we go now this does here there we go then all of our fans are basically going to get run and then we'll and it's just kind of on to front panels and easy stuff after this there you go okay this goes down in here easy peasy type train should now be active wandy says five trains active guys it should be this one actually comes with actually comes with a splitter we can hook daisy chain stuff together so there this will hook into the deep cool aio like so sl 120s is a 5.16 watt draw there's that then we're going to do is we're going to take this one right there and then this gotta go two parts this looks like we need one for the fans that have to hook up to the fans and then one that goes to the rgb we're gonna this rgb right here like that okay so now the rgb is daisy chained this is going to go up here i'm going to run this up here as well actually i think there's a fan down here so i'm going work i won't have to replace the this this will work with the standard set if you get the three pin you actually have to use uh their updated box but this one you don't have to do that so okay here we right way that is the rgb right there right that is the making sure that my rgb is all hooked up correctly oh wait wait wait wait wait no that's the gigabyte one so that's right i see both the rgbs plugged into here so that's all good that all looks right i wonder if i don't i haven't knit i haven't regularly had to put them into i had to do anything like plug them into the looks good everything's hooked up correctly in the back here okay so that's all hooked up correctly uh the only thing i can think is like something's not quite rgb plugged in all the way but it does go in order like if you don't parallel it i guess but i don't see any lights on any of this stuff unplug the fans from the motherboard power i think that's what they said that's what someone said okay i'll try that that would be the motherboard power i mean unplug the fan so i already i just did that oh well this is still plugged in uh some people are saying you need drivers oh if i if it does usually they've light they've lit up on their own well let me see if they stop spinning if i do this there they go stop spinning definitely not and now we're going to restart them well we'll we'll put this in and see if it shows up in the lee and lee we do have the lee and lee software i haven't typically had to have them oops that's the only one need the leland lee software for the rgb driver i like the i like the pink though i wonder if it needs any more pinky i'm making them wrong color i want gonna speed down there we go okay well we'll say one one there's only one header i only have one rgb header and the thing is is that you know it works because the deep cool aio is actually hooked up to it and it's split between the liam lee fans and the liam lee fans and the so they just you just need yeah i think i just need to i think honestly guys i think i just need to get into the os and i think we just need to basically get in the os and it'll work i'm guessing that's what it actually is and then it'll all work but it is done but i'm guessing that's what i think the reason is that i have because the splits because it's split um it's just it once i go because it'll you can control it via usb and then the fans will the fan colors will show up so i think that's an easy fix i'm gonna fix this real quick though it still looks awesome but we just need to finish the customization so we'll do that get it customized and then we'll show it off i'll ask i'll ask our guy kevin if you can do it on tomorrow so when we do friday stream we'll actually have this whole thing done but he also has to uh he also has to do 30 60 works he'll have to do what he has time for okay so i'm just really putting the back on we'll put the rest of it there you go okay so there we go we'll turn it back on let it stay on and then you guys can see it we'll make it the next step is to make it look perfect which we'll get the we'll get the uh we'll get the uh fans working get all the out all of it to pink get the customization in terms of the the um we gotta fix the customization for the um deep cool so we'll have that set up and then uh it'll be completely finished so it looks good now we're gonna fit but we have a little bit more work to do that's to have to happen off stream it will look great then and we will show it off and we'll show it off and on friday's stream hopefully but regardless i don't think the graphic will be done until over the weekend so it might if it's not friday it'll happen monday or wednesday of next week but we are close the build itself i'm happy with we'll turn it back on because it does look really good we just don't have fans and stuff right now so we'll get that we'll get that squared away there we go there you go a lot of rgb but it it will look better when we're done yeah so yeah once we get all the fans lit up and then we'll get them all pink and then we'll have the pink with the cabling like it is right now but at least you guys can see some of the pink showing up right there and then we'll just get the fan stuff done too but it looks super clean let's put the you guys want to put the glass on so you guys can see with all the glass and everything we can do that we'll finish the finish the build out this has got a lot of air these fans are i don't know there you go there we go there's your there's it with the with the actual man this thing is like this thing you can definitely not going to be quiet no there we go and then finally yeah they're and lace trimmers og moons slides and there we go and there you go a completed build
