HOW TO BUILD a HOUSE using ONLY CARDBOARD! (CardLife)

ladies and gentlemen welcome back to a brand new video and you might be wondering Creston what is this amazing game in front of me this ladies and gentlemen is card live now before we get in the video if you didn't know the game is an alpha which means it's a little bit unfinished there's some other things they're gonna be adding to the game like water and of course monthly updates that make the game evolve and be awesome and super fun 24/7 and as you guys know I'm a big fan of trying new games out on the channel so I wanted to continue that spirit and try out a new game so I figured why not give card lots of shots so I actually haven't even touched the game yet I've seen some videos on gameplay but Ivan got to play it myself yet it looks like there's offline mode and hunger challenges over here we've got play online we can also host and play single-player I think we might start with like a single-player session I almost feel like if it's your first time ever playing a game let's just not hop right into multiplayer okay look at this okay my name is obviously Preston plays if you didn't know okay so I've got to connect the dots so let's not be bad here okay I should probably take my time but I can't help but rush because I want to play the game oh I get it would off the lines I went off the lines a lot I'm a little worried all right it's looking good oh it's looking that is so cool so I just cut out my character's face so if you guys didn't know one of the biggest and coolest things about this game is the connect-the-dots feature which is what you guys just saw me do but it basically allows you to create anything and everything you want by using a free hand editing method as you guys just currently saw and this is so cool man oh my gosh I can't even do my eyeballs wait do I have to connect the dots oh no this is gonna look terrible what's gonna happen what's gonna happen oh no guys I'm scared dude I should not be allowed to ever draw anything like a look at this like what I could make my character look like right now like okay can we reset him to default yeah there we go you know I might leave my character the way he looks currently cuz he looks great he looks handsome he doesn't look terrible I kind of like it right now what is this so this is like my chest and then I've got like my torso down here I can even like customize my arms you know you can literally do the dots on everything oh my gosh this game looks so beautiful welcome to card life ladies and gentlemen this is my first time experience ever playing card life oh okay alright so punch down a tree to collect wood alright let's punch that down yeah I'm a carve dude bunch of cardboard dream I get this on cardboard it's made out of its card okay although it does look like cardboard I will be honest with you guys so I'm just gonna keep sitting near the whack in the tree down hey cats come on come on get it did ya take that tree yeah take some more of that oh oh yeah and boom look at that tree go falling down on the ground oh look at this okay so I just got a cherry I got resin I got cherry wood Oh lots of cherry wood over here you I'm gonna do guys I actually haven't touched any of the settings in this game let me just go ahead and turn my sensitivity up a little bit I like to play games and a little bit higher sensitivity and then these are the controls which might end up being helpful for us so interact with an object I'm gonna change that to F I'm gonna change inventory to e you know I'm gonna do map guys I'm gonna put it on my mouse we're gonna do oh gosh what mouse button is that is it mouse button v we're gonna do mouse button v I've honestly forgot what that's button v is okay toggle third person we're gonna change that to the tilde key and everything else looks good okay let's give this a try now oh yeah so that opens my map now and then mouse button 4 I can use my hands so now I can just open my map oh these are probably waypoints all that's so cool so right here I've got the pieces of wood in my inventory I can open up my inventory right over here I've got like attributes oh I've got like max health stamina armor health oh there's actually a lot of things in here that I just I wasn't even thinking about and here's all the different recipes for crazy we can make this is sick oh I'm so excited right now so probably one of the first things I wanted to try to craft is probably gonna be a wooden Spade so in order to craft my wooden Spade I'm gonna need to get more cherry wood and I'm gonna need to get fiber long strands of fiber that can be harvested from blacks bushes I want to resist is this oh I've got some more wood am I pick I don't I can't tell what I'm doing right I'm like mapping the tree Oh aha that gave me some fiber all right but we still don't have enough where you need to get more fiber more trees although do we want to make a wooden hatchet first I feel like let's make a wooden hatchet then we can get trees faster so let's just go ahead and sit over here and get ourselves some nice fiber call yeah buddy all right now we've got the right amount of fiber we just need one more piece of cherry wood ladies and gentlemen there she goes the cherry blossom falls then that was a big tree because wait that wasn't a cherry tree that was oak okay well well well I wonder if we can use oak oh I just literally salt wait can we use oak oh we can use oak oh okay yeah that's crap this map oh my gosh I even get a cut out my pizza all this is so cool so if you want to you can obviously just use this you can even rename it I can make it the ultimate wooden axe if I wanted to call it that you don't have to say it and then I guess over here you can save the default outline so that's the default outline obviously but if I wanted to I can make my axe look awesome like maybe I want to make it look like a regular axe okay all right oh okay I kind of messed up a little bit but there we go but get my axe Deardon it's huge look at this is me look at me public this is the little wood dude running through the wood forests I've got the graphics on max right now and I gotta say it looks beautiful there's even saying oh you can touch say it oh I just got sand I'm a little bit digging in the sand right now why is this so cool and why am i having so much fun digging in this sand it's like I'm a kid again maybe there's treasure in here what is this oh I need to get a compatible tool before I can go in there and start getting that stuff and I can collect reward with Jay pulled the phone I get glowing magic essence I like magic glowing essence this looks amazing oh I get like fiber for this one I get oak wood for this one hunger management there's all kinds of like look at all these challenges in the journal that's it's amazing okay I really want to try this axe out I mean I've got this axe but apparently what I've got to do is I've got to eat a spring very to reduce my hunger management so I need to find these so-called spring berries which I haven't actually seen yet although I'm assuming one is probably very close to me oh but check this out guys oh this breaks the tree so much faster why did I not buy this thing sooner look at this I mean I definitely didn't buy this thing I had to craft it but you know what I'm saying and there we go ladies and gentlemen the tree comes troublin down give me all of that okay so I think this is a cherry tree yeah give me that cherry wood boy I'm sure you guys and gals are probably all aware by now but the entire world is made of cardboard everything is made of cardboard yep that's right literally everything and I mean everything I've made everything it's a giant open world where you can explore pretty much break everything because it's all made out of cardboard even the sky if you guys see is made out of cardboard which is just so a sick man it's awesome wait is this my berry tree Oh hold the phone oh these are star berries okay so I just got star berries I wonder if I eat the star berries what happens when consumed replenishes the small amount of hunger and also health in addition um oh you know what we can make stone stuff but we've got to get stone first your I want to do guys let's go and crap herself a new pickaxe and you know what I'm I'm feeling the pickaxes time I've got this guy's just watch my artistic ability shine bright like a diamond kick why am I so bad at this boom and there it is ladies and gentlemen the world's most handsome pickaxe that ever existed so give me that pickaxe boom it's now my two slots oh I couldn't want to go over here I know that I've technically got to finish some stuff in my journal which I've got to find spring berries spring berries can be harvested from purple spring berry bushes and eaten directly from the hot fire by pressing the associated key oh I'm stuffed oh that's why I couldn't eat the berries earlier oh okay I'm stuffed but I still want to find these these oh oh oh hold the phone I think I found myself some spring berries get over here spring berries oh yeah you can't yam boy we got the spring berries check it out although I can't eat them because my hunger management is still like really good right now wait hold on am i hungry enough oh I just ate one yes there we go and then we're gonna go in here I'm gonna collect my 20 spring berries now and as you can see there's a lot to do in your journal like I mean there's not just a little bit there is a lot a bit and speaking of a lot of bit check this out I can finally break some stone I'm assuming oh wait is this wait is this dirt or is this stone am I am I breaking stone I'm actually not sure right now what I'm breaking compact dirt okay no I'm actually Brittany 9 breaking dirt I don't want to be breaking dirt I want to be breaking stone man get me out of here no no no no okay hold on can I can I try this out can I put this down on the ground oh you can oh that's oh this is the stuff I wanted to break all I need a stronger pickaxe I can't even break this yet okay well to me this looks like either a gravel or stone but to me no no this is definitely gotta be stone yes I got stone okay how much stone do we need for a better pickaxe if we get a stone pickaxe we're gonna need 18 pieces of stone although another thing I really have considered making would be I'm thinking about possibly making a weapon I want to go fight some creatures I don't know if you guys remember earlier on my screen but I remember seeing some creatures towards me while I guess like behind me technically and I wanted to go fight them but I didn't really have anything to do it with I mean obviously I can't just fight them with a wooden pickaxe I would get dominated to make ourselves a stone short sword or oh you can even make arrows out of wood and bows Oh guys I'm having too much fun right now Oh a torch oh yeah I'm gonna crap myself a torch yeah man okay but my journal is telling me right now that I need to make something else oh oh I just got a wooden Spade heck yes Oh forty stone yes buddy oh my gosh and here I was thinking the whole time I was gonna actually have to get the stone legitimately myself so if I want to make myself a stone well it says right here to make a wooden short storage so I can complete this challenge but I don't have enough fiber and in fact I'm gonna need a lot of fiber because to make a stone sword I also need fiber so I need to go collect some Baba yeah give me that fiber I wonder it can I break it fat okay you can't even oh a sickle okay how do we get ourselves a sick old ladies and gentlemen oh I can actually make myself a stone sickle hey I wanna create a stone sickle alright let's put our stone sickle on our three bought a hot bar let's put some of it we don't really need these out here like this so I'm just gonna go and dump these back in here put this over here die just drop my berries on the ground no no no no no yeah give me my virus back hey I said give me my berries dadgummit alright got my berries back and of course I can equip my character with all kinds of cool stuff where did I not crap one of these on create' oh oh that's so cool I gotta be honest guys I'm a little worried about holding this I mean my characters made of cardboard you know one wrong move and the whole world will set afire oh yeah let me oh look at this sickle it just chop stuff so fast oh we about to be collecting mad fiber ladies and gentlemen oh oh oh I just heard something scary guys guys I heard something scary Oh what the heck there's crabs hold on I'm gonna go and make this sword real quick I'm gonna make two swords just kidding I need more fiber dad gun and I spent all my fiber in one place that was a bad idea okay I need a little bit more fiber I really want to go fight those guys that I just saw out there hold on yes I love how there's a crafting time too I like how I can just crap things in my inventory and I don't have to do anything else let's go and put this over here okay I'm also gonna collect some of these easy oh yeah give me that wood this is addictive okay cuz like I could sit here and play this game for a like forever it's a problem but it's a good problem let's go find ourselves some crabs let's go crab yeah oh gosh I'm really scared Oh crap is doing a lot of damage to me okay okay guys the crab might be a bad idea to fight I'm winning barely winning this battle died there we go okay I have beaten the crab and I have gotten one piece of meat we really need to craft ourselves some better gear so in order to craft for ourselves some better gear looks like we need stone and fiber which should not be a problem and then now the game is telling me - oh let me eat one of these bad boys oh yeah yeah let me eat some of this regain my health really fast Oh so the game is telling me to find a deer but I'm gonna be honest with you guys I haven't seen a deer so we need to go on the hunt oh my gosh are those bears nope nope nope nope we are not gonna go fight those bears right now ladies and gentlemen if we fight those bears we are we're dead we know that's not gonna happen on not today guys I gotta be honest with you I kind of spent a lot of my my stone which is really sad because I really want to make stone gear but I need to go harvest a ton of stone I think this is stone right here I think we've already like confirmed at but I believe this is stone although what I could do let me get this piece of stone right here guys and let me go and crap a much better pickaxe just kidding oh my gosh did you guys hear that bear that bears wood that bear sounds terrifying I don't even want to go fight that bear I'm gonna die - that bear by God - that bear but I still want to fight the bear okay here we go let's check this out boomba give me that stone pickaxe you don't pickaxe has been crafter ladies and gentleman we're gonna put back our wooden one all right there we go CAW oh I've got compact stone okay I don't know if I'd even seen compact stone yet oh look how much faster this thing breaks that is what we're talking about this is some efficiency going down ladies and gentlemen man I'm out like make me a huge cave system over here this is legit oh my gosh to craft one chest plate okay we need stone and compact stone not to mention we're gonna need a whole lot was Daisy called fiber Oh okay guys I will be back whenever I have enough to make every single piece of gear [Music] what is that oh my gosh it's a bear I'm dead run from the boom please bear and save me save me bear oh my kind of monsters that are existing right now in this world I have so much stone guys it's amazing but the bad thing is we are missing ourselves a lot of fiber and now I've got to go into the night oh it's gonna be dangerous oh yeah I'm already seeing all kinds of creatures what is that one that is glowing red and looks like some kind of demon from my nightmares like guys all I want to do is find some fiber oh my gosh these things are looking at me and I am running away Oh speak of the devil if that's a fiber actually I probably shouldn't say speak of the devil because I literally think the devil is right behind me right now okay I got my fiber yes okay we're going to it right now I'm crafting the chess blade guys there we go Oh beautiful beautiful okay put this on I'm crafting the helmet now even more beautiful and then I think I might yeah okay dadgummit okay so to get the legs and oh the arms that's cool so it's legs and the arms interesting okay so I'm gonna need to get ourselves we need more fiber basically in this game you can never have enough fiber there's probably a way to plant fiber and for some reason I'm not understanding how to do that because I'm dumb but I've completed some awards oh my gosh I just got a stone sword from completing something I'm so sad I still haven't seen a deer yet though I've got a feeling I don't know if you're out at this time of night because it's very dangerous so it's probably smart that there's not any deer out okay what is that it's going oh it's an imp oh I can actually fight this yeah take some of that buddy yeah oh okay I'm missing a lot of hits that's not good yeah Oh couple more hits in this imp is mine Oh what did it drop okay just dropped magic essence dole magic essence and he dropped some other things okay nippy nifty nifty well okay speaking of nifty give me some of this and that means ladies and gentlemen we now can craft our helmet and we can craft our stone arms wait oh my gosh I already have a helmet I am so I'm dumb well I did not mean to crap it dadgummit Preston what have you done what is that is that a zombie Oh let's go zombie oh it's a goblin okay I got this all right I really wish I had like a shield or something or like maybe one of those ranged weapons this goblin would be destroying me right now if I didn't have this gear on oh I'm so thankful for this gear all right let's eat I eat ourselves us another berry I just would have survived the night okay oh gosh another imp are you kidding me fine you know what I'll do to you what I did to your friend yeah yeah oh gosh these imps are actually pretty hard to kill I'm not gonna lie to you it's another imp Dan ladies and gentlemen we dropped rancid meat we want to eat rancid meat that doesn't sound like a good time Oh crate he's got another friend nearby and I'm absolutely dominating him this time boom sauce Kate now can I collect my fiber in peace please use psyllium whoa whoa okay another amp are you kidding me in come on buddy we're about to survive our first night though guys come on take that in a couple more hits and you are a goner boom Shakalaka alright let's go and put on our stone squire arms and then so the last thing we're missing from this is now we need more stone pieces but check me out dude I am a buff lik and cardboard guy I love it oh yeah buddy let's scrap this bad boy up check it out guys we now have full stone here and we look amazing if I do say so myself I am loving it check it out even with a sword I like amazing so speaking of amazing we've done some really cool things so far but the one thing we haven't done is we ever try to craft a house or anything like that and I think that a top of this hill I've got a beautiful area to settle down ok I want to make like a house oh look at this bed this is huge ok we can make this regular bed but only if we have light wolf pelt ok what about like a table oh we can make a sick table yo alright let's just make a small table to start out with let's just make ourselves this little tiny table and oh you can hold oh that's so cool I can like rotate it BAM look at my table boys oh I am kind of building a house right now it's a really bad looking house but you know what I'm working on it okay oh I'm so dumb you can just craft I can place down a wall and I could build my own house okay what is this so I'm crapping right now some foundation I'm gonna put the foundation on the ground oh yes look at this ladies and gentlemen now we could put down our we could put down our wall right oh oh oh my gosh we almost have a full-fledged house oh man to make more walls of course I'm gonna need more fiber and a bunch of other stuff can we craft a door yo check it out guys I've got more foundation so if I wanted to I can make my house area bigger and can I put this down next to it okay the Foundation's gonna need some work over here it's a little bit rocky if I do say so myself so you could just click delete though and you can delete the items and I think oh okay I thought I would get the items back but I think it actually just deletes the items so make sure you are a hundred percent okay with it before you plays it down that's kind of my bad right there but what I need is I need I need more trees guys come on down big guy oh that's the big tree right there oh yeah I think we just got much wood do we got I don't know how much wood we just got seventeen pieces of wood from that so we got to do that a few more times because we still need obviously like a ceiling piece we need a lot more pieces for our house it's nowhere near ready yet hmm oh dear yes I need to complete all that it's not a deer that is a stag ladies and gentlemen and I don't know if this counts as a deer hopefully it does Oh stag I'm so sorry you're such a big beautiful majestic creature there's nothing I could do I'm sorry okay stag you know what I'm really sorry about that stag I'm really sorry I just thought you were a deer my bad Hobie now I know this isn't a light gray wolf but maybe I could still make a bed out of you oh it's a direwolf oh I am so I feel like I'm about to die no I'm actually a lot stronger than I think no I'm not small but I'll put it down here for now oh and then it's got storage okay that is pretty cool but we now need more walls I also need a roof or maybe I just need wall pieces I'm not quite sure but I need two more wall pieces and there we go ladies and gentlemen we about to have a full-fledged house Oh No Oh No why can't I put this down No oh wait what did wait did I put one down of it okay I did not mean to do that um okay I am no pro architect but that that's kind of embarrassing guys guys I think it's safe to say that my house is it's not worthy it's not worthy but I think what we're gonna
