House Is SOLD & Everything is FREE! Basement Clean Out

welcome to paper and moose it is a free day here at the channel we were invited to a home to clean out and take what we wanted and everything is free music to my ear [Music] working on but the paint is what we're looking for [Music] okay that's that's all that all those paint cans that's not very much at all really but they run it out i have uh garbage bags in my car no no no good we're good okay here uh control over until you dispose of them over here those are pretty bad [Applause] oh um [Music] um bottles of uh what was that what was that car oh yeah oh yeah that's oh what's this box whoa oh they're all chips chip chips it says 60 days and 30 days faa i don't know if that's four [Music] i thought maybe sobriety but this is cool oh too bad that's cheese box cheese box i'll grab that oh look the other side's nice nicer oh lion right cyan processed cheese this is a cute drawer yeah you're right you're right yeah absolutely this is lion cyan cheese uh that's i'm sorry i can't tell that's lion or cyan bran i'm sorry oh yeah yeah lion science isn't that funny they opened it backwards like when they do that you know oh they open them upside down lights for candles for front window bones christmas ornaments dishes [Music] oh my those are crazy those are small oh that's what they shoved in with newspaper clogs [Music] i don't think i'm gonna fit these but they're pretty cool this is butterworth jar a baby with a huge diaper she's heavy that's a heavy girl stemware nope not for me oh geez don't break it right where are these guys this is pretty nice that's not a ceramic horse royal hager royal hagar this is crayons what's in here ooh ornaments ornaments what's it going to be what's it going to be oh nativity they're nice take we'll add those to my pile oh this is the crutch dentonis are so hard to sell though i don't think i'm going to take the crutch though i'll leave that in here accounting abacus i think that's what they're called [Music] maybe tony will want that oh that bench is nice we'll put that on top let me just look in here make sure i'm not missing out on any christmas curtains and drapes some more dishes yeah they're neat look how nice these are we did find vintage christmas that's a cute box oh look at these the whole cluster of them they're so cute look at this guy who's he oh he's fun holiday hound oh here i don't know they're different patterns oh these are pretty oh look how cute those are [Applause] this little gathering of guys which is cute i'm gonna add those i saw something under here like an old tv repair shop it looks like your son found something cool it smells like paint down here it's funny but if you walk out of here you don't smell it anymore that is the kind of house clean out that you wish you had more of my friend that is in the house clean out estate clean out estate buyout business he so nicely invited me along again to this home the house was sold and the homeowner needed the stuff removed no charge we didn't have to pay for it um he didn't have to pay us to take it so it was really really fun we each kind of just went around took what we wanted and i think my friend is going back to do more of the clean out i will not be able to go though i'm visiting a friend from college that day so i'm going to have to pass but you can't beat free occasionally you do get those kind of estate jobs where you know the people they have no desire they picked out what they wanted they don't have the time the patience the energy to finish the clean out so they hire someone or they have a friend that they know and they say hey whatever you want in there take it maybe take some big pieces with you such as a mattress and get rid of it so it all works out the basement was pretty much the only area of the home that had things in it the rest of the house had been pretty much cleaned out so what did i get a few fun things let's start with this guy he is rather lovely i say that word a lot and we have a native american chief he is plastic i have not seen one this size i've seen you know little smaller ones or a lot of times you'll see the dolls a little girl native american dolls but i have not seen one like him before great look to him really nice color still just the right amount of paint loss so he was a really nice find some of the pieces that i did find i've already sold at the flea market quick flip easy money um some christmas we have this guy holiday hound with his little spring on top i was hoping that there would be more vintage christmas but there you know there wasn't but beggars can't be choosers and it was all free the christmas that was there we had the hound there was a nativity scene a nativity set which i've already sold and let's see what else we have in here a whole little box with all these well don't fall you might be my best piece that i found um with all these little little santas and mrs claus a whole bunch of them she's all dancing another kissing pair and then i even found some vintage uh shiny bright i believe ornaments with the cute mr and mrs snowman on there i have a couple of those i have this one and these red these are just plain they don't have any decoration on them this one has toys oh that's a cute little duck sailboat and last but not least we have a nice green one with the reindeer i only decorate my tree in vintage christmas ornaments and i actually do them sparingly i don't overload the tree and i pretty much only use i think one to two strands of lights i like a nice kind of mute or dim tree just just simple kind of i don't know what it'd be like if i just overloaded it with old ornaments that might be neat maybe i'll have to try that one here so we did find some vintage christmas i also found some local somewhat local pieces this is a con lux it looks like a painters cap from edison new jersey just like the look of it oh that's cracked there i'll have to see what we can do again i have a fondness for these or i'm starting to realize i have a fondness now i just have to get to cleaning them out so another um not a fanny pack nail pack wear around your waist with all your doodads nails hammers in it this is from newark new jersey morbach and kazlander beautiful point of view found two pairs of shoes one pair i took to the flea market and no one even looked at them i thought they were rather cool they were these large boots and then i found these you have your clogs um it says imported wood from sweden special arch support i can't make out and the name of them is long gone from the label oh that one is get a splinter underfoot they're size 38 i haven't tried them on but hey the shoe fits perhaps i will wear it another great 70s looking style if any of you are familiar with the brand or if you recognize that label let me know what else what else oh i found this girl too another cute little christmas piece shiniko um she's not marked she's just x6964 on the bottom usually that's napco such great christmas items back then now i think my one of my favorite pieces that i found first and i'm going to keep this for myself just because i like it something small probably worth a grand quarter but it is an old box from a drugstore company f m drug company the best in drugs and they were located on orange street in newark new jersey and then inside is actually um the prescription i won't show it because there's the person's name but 1949 two tablets every four hours i like this little box you can see how pretty the it looks like old um light fixtures that they used on there old advertising can't beat it now the piece that might be worth the most that i found was this mare and cult i just realized there is a tiny one little chip there hopefully i did not do that in transit but this is a royal hagger piece royal hager is you know a name that is well known and there's another chip on the back it is a mare and cult when i looked this up i think there was only one other that was listed online or one had sold worth point but they had it for or maybe it's one was listed for around a hundred dollars or more which i mean that's if i get that much that's great for free even if i would get a less or half free profit unfortunately because of the damage you know that's going to lessen the cost number less than what i would get so you know this might be a better piece to take to the flea market i i obviously could not ask a hundred dollars for this at the flea market i couldn't even probably ask for 70 or 75 so it would be a little about the lower end but then i don't have to worry about listing fees and about shipping and making sure that there are no more breakages or even if i inspect this and i look over and i'm i'm pretty sure that i've gotten all the you know chips and marks whoever buys it via online can say hey wait you know you missed this piece you missed that piece so sometimes it it's easier to do the flip at your flea market um and you don't have to worry about all those other possibilities that could go wrong now if i were to you know be able to get more money online than that decision would be to go online but you know flea market piece if there's any royal hacker collectors there that'd be nice for them to be able to add this to their collection and not have to worry about paying the shipping fees online because this is definitely this will not go economy shipping definitely not so it it was fun you know i wish all picks can be come into my basement and take whatever you want for free and it have good stuff or really neat things not necessarily you know top of the line but just neat little items that i find interesting that others would find interesting and as always it's fun to see what people have collected throughout time and what they've held on to whether willingly or hey you know that was my husband that was my sons my daughters and it's been sitting there for 40 years please take it away you never know the situation but you know the state clean outs always always interesting to know the story and then see the objects or things that have been accumulated throughout the years so i hope you enjoyed this i know i did
