Couldn't Believe It! VINTAGE Estate Sale Shopping Part 1

so I just got to an estate I parked up there I'm gonna pull up here so I just got to an estate I asked how much the lady said well there's a whole set how much $10 I sought to go inside the house yet this is gonna be a great day oh [Music] that's a shame yeah does she remember yeah no that's understandable you don't want to oh no yeah we want to get like that you can't you can't risk it okay yeah yes well I was is this I like this one I'll have to ask her I don't know if their song means were you selling these or keeping I have to wait for my sister okay that's fine yes this is his family mine did you park up there because you thought it was up there no I usually I don't know a lot of times all come and like the whole front will be a jam-packed so I have a good they said they couldn't they were having trouble finding no no no my GPS brought me right here right no I wouldn't like to park before in case everything in front of the house is full but I don't have to turn around and come all the way back like that you see I don't know cool about tools yeah what no what is it that is on side and tonight or crib that is nice over in yeah - hold your pie so before I go in and show you the other items I wanted to show you the blow molds that I got so we have the angel and then the nativity set with this Shepherd that I absolutely love Mary and Joseph we have a lamb and then we have baby Jesus so in his original blanket and the crutch I believe it's called this you can see it this has been stored in an attic for years so I initially asked how much he was and then she told me that she had a whole set and then she said it was $10 for all of them and there are two lambs actually so these aren't in my car immediately the colors are kind of different than what I've normally seen you know the newer ones are modeled off the older ones but it looks like perhaps they could have even been blank and then painted by the people that owned them but such a great find for $10 so what an estate that was first PS a I was a doctor so if my pupils look huge it's because the drops they put in to make your vision blurry to check your I have not gone away yet so excuse those but anyway let's get back to this estate sale who the treasures that I found so you saw those blow molds I wasn't even gonna go to the sale the pictures that were listed were it didn't show the blow molds it didn't show any of the things that I purchased but I was like I'll go and actually started at 7 I needed to sleep in a little bit on the weekend so I got there probably around 8 and the woman was putting out the Shepherd Lomo the tall one so I asked how much for him and she's like well there's a hole that I didn't know if they were the same size that would have been amazing and I go how much do you want for the whole set and as you saw in my video if I included that part she said $10 and I said sold and I immediately gave her the $10 and I started putting them in my car so that was the shepherd Joseph Mary baby Jesus two lambs and an angel great deal and the deals guy even better I'm gonna show you one box just what's on the top layer I'm not gonna go through the rest I'm actually going to save that for a whole nother video it'll be like those popular unboxing videos but it will be even better because it is this box now I didn't get this on camera of course because at sales I still get really excited sometimes I forget I don't have the camera on or I'm talking to the person that's running the sale and I don't want the camera right in their face so I I don't even have it recording and this is one of those instances but she asked me what I was interested in and I told her I love vintage holiday Halloween Christmas Valentine's Day and things like that and she's like oh I have a box I think I have one one box of some Halloween stuff okay the top of the box says Halloween decorations packed November 1971 and she said that this was an attic and they brought it down now I wish I would have had a recording of my face when she opened up this box because this out of the way are you ready I hope I can get this all on camera on film you probably won't see my face but can you see can you see it is a box full of vintage Halloween patrons oh you couldn't even see the best thing that's on top look he was on top and then I saw like some pumpkins and oh there's two of these owls this guy these let's see just one more I have these two but it's a whole whole bot Oh what is that a whole box that has not been touched since 1971 I immediately said why yes I want this and put it in my car so I'm going to be saving this for a whole video and of itself because I think would be really fun to go through this with all of you and share in my excitement because I'm hoping I think there should be some amazing finds in here so that box are we ever these are like doodles or drawing something some of those but then she said well I think I might have some other likes left inside mm-hmm well first mummys up a scene here it was the family that was running the sale and you may have heard in the video if I included that that it was her mother and her mother had dementia and so she was in a assisted living home because they they actually found her the neighbors found her outside at 2:00 a.m. one morning so when it gets to be that kind of situation you need to take appropriate measures so that the person's safety is first and foremost so they put her in a home and they had to go through her home and she's like anyone at the sale in October it didn't happen and finally I'm like we're doing it this day and that's it she had called in someone to price some of the better items I guess that they didn't think that that Halloween was better thank goodness and then the rest she was selling so that's the behind story so I said I was interested vintage that so she also had more than noisemakers you remember I bought a whole box and yard sale these were very popular back in the day so looks like it's more of a circus circus themed [Music] let me do this bag of Halloween I didn't even look in this she just said oh here's some Halloween stuff and I said okay I'll take it I did she did show me this it's a nice Halloween tambourine you know it's missing two of noise thing oh that's interesting the insides are from Pepsi I wonder if they replace those they must have it's like the outside of a Pepsi can that's me so a nice cat and green I picked this up now it's a homemade treat just may not a styrofoam and they put these great pieces of green like ribbon okay so follow me oh my god there's air and he's wearing a mask oh okay I found these in a tote so I threw those in too oh my gosh I can't believe he has hair it's like the stem his leaves but it looks like hair alright so inside a Halloween noisemaker we have some more little pumpkins you can never have enough of those there's an even smaller guy one more thing a cat magnet made out of pipe cleaners that's all it's in this bucket man what a great find she put these in the bottom I was gonna break these aren't Halloween but they are Christmas like the plastic ones that I found that were in bad shape these are the same but these are ceramic it looks like someone may have touched up his eyes a little bit they're um Bryn's Pittsburgh Pennsylvania so I did get more vintage Christmas just do wait I didn't even realize that this was a paper mache one or that not paper mache the heavy cardboard oh my gosh this could possibly be the best estate sale I have been to all year this is unbelievable I am so excited yeah when she has this bag again I didn't look I saw that one pumpkin the back of it and I'm just like okay I'll take it look at the color on this it is so bright ah this will look amazing this one of the fake candles inside with the lights oh my gosh what a great find I can always go to the Halloween box okay Christmas I got the blow molds which were a great find and this box she showed me just the top and then I saw some of the paper and I'm like okay I take that too again I didn't even blow through this she showed me what's in this bag oh he's it an ambassador hot sausage bag oh my gosh he is adorable look in them first I thought it was a a pixie like a now an elf but look how cute he is oh my goodness was this little belly but he's stuffed it's like a straw oh my gosh he's adorable oh he looks so good by that tree and then this guy samih he has a little neck issue there he will twisted but he is definitely older you know his feet they're not plastic Hey look oh my - tree - now we have some shiny bright ornaments some more ornaments these have the really nice one these might be yeah they don't have this oh I can't tell this have the silver inside this one is cute I have Santa and there's another green one like that so we have those now I didn't look through this so let's look here this now let's see what there is these don't look as old as the Halloween ones self-response of me five take this so mr. mrs. Claus Claus frosty snowman if you have never seen frosty returns you need to watch that because that's when he gets married please look a little bit more modern still very cute though these might Hallmark cards so I most likely won't have I will put these up on Etsy at some point these are definitely newer so cute though oh no little birdies on it Christmas carols with fans there's some more together it must be some kind of like platform and a nice table interesting I guess it is the whole thing it's just small first small table that's cute - I thought this native would have had more in it again I just look because I let my excitement overtake me when I saw it I bought it I did buy some linens as well and a few other things so alia was very nice to work with um you know what else she may have had in there I'm not sure a lot of this stuff inside was newer pretty much where she got these items from they had pulled them down from the attic there were some other items that I had been interested in but she said she didn't know if her sister wanted to keep them or not so when you know a family member says that you don't try and argue you don't try and convince them to sell you it you just let it go when I was there the brother I think he's like oh I found some of these elves and they were too small the knee hugging elves but I think he got them from another room but he was gonna keep them he sent that they brought back some memories so I'm glad but blow molds that just started the balls were they great estate sale and then the pumpkins this guy I cannot get over his color if I hope it conveys how neon bright this on jizz because it is bright this lovely bucket this cutie and then the whole box of Halloween to go through so be on the lookout for that video coming up I'm super excited hopefully it's not a letdown I don't think it's going to be I think it's going to be good and then I will have some of those newer Hallmark Christmas papers listed at some point on Etsy it probably will not be until this upcoming weekend later in the weekend because I have some other things going on and I'm the unboxing of the Halloween that will also probably up during the weekend too but stay tuned for that they just do not make Christmas like this anymore and that's why people love it and I'm really glad I was at that sale it was a great sale and you know timing was perfect because maybe if I would have gotten there in seven she wouldn't have been bringing that stuff down from the Attic and I could have totally have missed out on it so it was a good day I hope you enjoyed this video of the estate sale and stay tuned for the unboxing of the vintage Halloween I'm really looking forward to doing that I would do it now but I need some sleep so again I hope you enjoyed this video stay tuned for more videos if you are new to the channel welcome be sure to check out some of my older videos and hit that subscribe button so that you are notified every time that I put a new video out so thank you for joining me hope you have a great day and see you all next time [Music]
