This made me laugh -- it has an odd level of low-key satire that doesn't usually work so well on SNL (since they're usually hoping for big, more obvious laughs)... so maybe that's why "cut for time." It almost feels like a real makeover show and some could wonder "what's the big deal?" It's like well-disguised sarcasm that slips right past its victim. Of course, this makeover would probably cost less than $1,000 and these guys are enraptured by it all, and Heidi and Nick play it so straight all the way through. I like it but wouldn't expect a wide audience to feel the same.
