at 8:30 a.m. 11:00 a.m. or 6 o'clock p.m. well today we culminate the series and title handle the challenge handle the challenge this is handle the challenge part 4 and we bring this to a culmination today the question is not whether or not you will have challenges the question is when you will have a challenge and how will you respond to it so when faced with a challenge you can number one fight you can fight whenever you're faced with the challenge you can fight and you realize that you have to fight through certain things sometimes it's a fight to get out of the bed in the morning sometimes it's a fight to get through the day you will have challenges so when faced with a challenge you can fight secondly you can flee sometimes you just don't want to deal with it you said not today not now sometimes it's not wise to deal with the challenge right at the moment sometimes you need to cool down the other party might need to cool down so you use your feet to escape the situation or the challenge when you flee and sometimes you're not strong enough to fight and you have to flee until you've built the strain and the timing is right so sometimes you fight sometimes you flee other times number three you flow this is where you use your will to yield to the challenge there are certain things that you don't fight that are uncomfortable Jesus when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane didn't fight the garden experience he prayed and he said lord please let this bitter cut paths from me but there are times that God's will is not for it to pass but you've got to go through it so he said nevertheless your will be done he yielded to the challenge that was before him and sometimes the greatest way to get God's peace in your heart is just a yield to the challenge and here's this week we focus on the fourth strategy which is to faith it faith it when you faith it you use your spirit to trust God amid the challenge you faith it there are some challenges that you cannot handle by your intellect by your reasoning by your rationalizations you can't handle some challenges by fighting it you can't handle some challenges by fleeing from it you can't handle some challenges by flowing with it there are some challenges that you deal with you have to faith it not fake it faith it just use your faith in God in order to get through the challenge now here our scripture that we use for this is Acts chapter 12 and verse 6 from the New Living Translation notice this the night before Peter was to be placed on trial he was asleep fastened with two chains between two soldiers others stood guard at the prison gate now listen here's Peter in jail he's in jail he's chained with two chains and the Bible says his sleep now here's what I want you to see is that peace is always based on a revelation peace is always based on a revelation where you see something in your spirit where you know something by a promise from God you know something by the Word of God peace is always based on a revelation you can be diagnosed with the sickness and yet you've got a revelation from God's word that this sickness is not unto death then I might have to take some treatment and I might have to take some medication that it may be uncomfortable for a season but whatever I deal with I'm not gonna die and the revelation that you have gray to appease that no matter what happens I'm gonna make it through this it may be challenging it may be difficult but I will live through it that's what the power of Revelation will do for you so peace is based on a revelation if you don't have peace it means that you don't have a revelation of God's promise concerning that area in your life if something is disturbing you peace is always based on a revelation faith isn't about how much biblical knowledge you have is not about how much scripture that you know how much you have memorized or how much you have the ability to be able to spontaneously recite faith is the childlike ability of God to simply take God at His Word by believing and acting like it is true it is just taking God at His Word by believing God and acting like the Word of God is true it's not difficult it's just believing God taking God simply by his word taking God at His Word of God said it we take God at His Word we take him at his word by believing and acting as though it is true and that's what our simple childlike faith is it's just God said it we believe it and that settles it in our own hearts and minds just take God at its word understand his word and said Lord if I understand that this is what you're saying to me I'm going to believe you it's our responsibility to believe and we see incredible faith demonstrate it in the life of Peter here here Peter was not in a comfortable 5-star hotel Peter was in prison not only was he in prison he was in Chains in to change he's got a chain on this arm and a chain on that one can you imagine a chain on both arms then he's in in between two soldiers on top of that peter is in maximum-security prison he's in maximum-security prison and then the verse says he was asleep not only was he in Chains not only was he between two soldiers to guard him in maximum security but it is the night before he is to face to be put on trial for death they're going to his his his life could cut in the next day he's gonna go to trial the next day and yet Peter is sleep and can you imagine not knowing the fate of your trial the next day being locked up in maximum-security prison and Peter was asleep it baffles me that he could sleep with both of his arms chained up because you can't even turn over I mean who most urges lie in the same position all night he couldn't turn the right side to the left sides he's chained he's between two soldiers in maximum-security prison he's in a dungeon and he's fast asleep Peter had a revelation I like Oh Peter everybody needs a Peter in their life peter is in Tetris and he's a he's a sort of a spontaneous kind of guy he's hot-headed he's a big con tamesha's he's Peter is is a bit iconoclastic he he will he pushes against you know the norm of things Peter so he's a bad boy when Peter was in the Garden of Gethsemane you remember they came to arrest Jesus and malkos servant the high priests servant he comes there and Peter pulls his sword off and cuts off the man's ear he wasn't aiming for the ear he was trying to cut his head off the man ducked everybody needs somebody who's got your back like a Peter you need a Peter in your in your in your family I mean when you get ready to say you know listen no no no you gonna give us our money back you need a Peter you need a feeder to stand behind you you know when when Rome has been done you need a Peter who's packin Peter Peter one just prayin peter was packin Peter everybody know that dude they know that gal in the family that's that Peter that hot-headed one the one that you don't want to cross the one where you haven't heard the last of us yet everybody knows the PETA and this is who PETA was and now Peter the same PETA the same Peter he's spontaneous he's he's not scared it was Peter who stood up on the day of Pentecost and preached a sermon so strongly that 3000 people gave that sart's to Jesus it was this Peter it was this Peter who's now in prison faking possibly a death sentence the next day he's in maximum-security prison he's between two chains he's between two soldiers and now he's asleep what a revelation of somebody who is walking by a revelation that has produced peace in their heart this is that Peter and we need that kind of Peter in our life that kind of revelation that Peter had it was this st. Peter who told Jesus thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God and Jesus looked at him and said flesh and blood has not revealed this to you Peter but but only God by his Spirit has done this and in the next statement Jesus was letting him know that he was gonna have to go to the cross and that he was gonna be crucified and all of that and Peter starts saying no no no that's not gonna happen to you not to my Lord and one long he was speaking about the spirit the next moment Jesus turns to Peter and said I rebuke you Satan and it amazing that one minute he's speaking by the Holy Ghost and then the next minute the devil is using him that's just how impetuous Peter walls but this Peter had a revelation of God he had a revelation of God in his life that no matter what happens to me God's got me God's got me I want you to know that no matter what's happening in your world today when you really get the revelation that my life is in his hands my life is in his hands God's got me you can be facing bankruptcy you can be in tax trouble you can have a physical illness happening in your body listen you can have a multiplicity of stuff you can be broke and sick and God's got me you ought to just let your hands on yourself right now and prophesy and say God's got me God's got me you'd be having trouble in your marriage God's got me you can be having trouble on your job God's got me you can be behind all your logins or your read God's got me God's got me God's got me God's got me you ought to have a revelation that all things work together for the good of them that love God and with Nicole according to his purpose all that I know oh that I know all that I know is that God is working things for my good it may not feel good right now it may not look good right now I may not know how this thing is gonna come out but I do know and not know and not know Romans 8:28 and we know not we think we know we know we know when you ever knowing down in your Noah down in the depths of your spirit somehow when you know that you know that you know you'll have a peace that allows you to sleep the night before the surgery you can sleep the night before the court case you can sleep the night before the interview you can sleep the night before you get the decision as to whether the loan has been approved or not you can sleep you can't sleep you can sleep [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I'm glad you know there are some folks are found folks that coming up closer to their wedding and the closer they get to the wedding the more nervous again I overslept on my wedding day of course the wedding wasn't about two o'clock that afternoon but you know I have you know the part of the matter is that I had a piece I had a piece down on the inside listen if you can't sleep now you you better check it you better you better put the brakes on home you better pump your brakes real quick if you don't have any peace pump the brakes pop the brakes listen face is not merely a noun faith is an action faith is an action faith as an action faith is something faith believes something faith sees something faith says something faith does something it's not just a passive noun faith is an action faith always see something it believes something it sees something it says something it does something faith is something it's not just passive I want you to realize the power of the word of God in Daniel chapter 11 and verse 32 it says the people who know their God will displace strength and take action in that interesting if you know God you will display strength the King James Version says those that know that God shall be strong and do exploits and then the new American Standard Bible says the people who know their God will displace strength and take action that means that when you really have faith it's gonna cause you to do something you don't just have it passively well it's just in your heart faith will move you to do something you will be strong and as a result of that strength you will take action because there's a God part and there's a man part of every battle that's something that God will do but there's something that you have to do and when we take action that's what it the evidence of our faith and I love it how are the right up Hebrews that is a tribute to the Apostle Paul in chapter 11 in verse 6 that it is impossible to please God without faith it is impossible not possible at all to please God without faith and anyone who wants to come must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek Him you know you can't even go to God unless you believe that he is and that he's a rewarder of those that sincerely or diligently seek Him but it's impossible to please God without faith if you don't have any faith you can't please God you you if you if you don't have faith you cannot please God you cannot please him without any faith James chapter 2 and verse 23 notice this and so it happened just as the scriptures say abraham believed God and counted him as righteous because of his faith he was even called the friend of God just because of his faith because abraham believed god abraham believed god abraham believed god see we believe what we see in the bank account we believe the pain that is in our bodies when His Word says that with His stripes you were healed and I want you to know that when the Lord said that with the stripes you are healed you are here he said that in Isaiah chapter 53 verse four and five surely he has borne our sins and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted but he was wounded for our transgressions bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with His stripes ye were healed then he says in Matthew chapter 8 verse 16 and 17 when they even was come they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils and he cast out the spirits with his word and healed all that were sick that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses first Peter 228 says heal himself bare our sins in his own body on the tree while we being dead on the sins might live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed no Testament says that you are here the New Testament says that you were here is it already accomplished back whether I feel like I'm healed or not if I believe it if I believe if I believe if I believe it I cannot tell you the time that I've had to come in here because while I was still hurting because I believe that I'm healed not that I feel like a meal anybody know what I'm talking about if you have to get up and go to work because you believe you got to believe that everything that's all right you got to believe that marriage is all right you got to believe my son and my daughter is all right you gotta believe that my job is all right you got to believe that my money is all right you gotta believe it you gotta walk this state when you believe it God will account it to you as righteousness and you become a friend of God [Applause] faith is not based on facts faith is based on what you believe based on what you believe based on what you believe peace is not the result of the absence of problems but the presence of God want you to get a get a hold of that revelation it's not the result of the absence of problems but the presence of God Peter was in prison didn't mean that he didn't have a problem he had a huge problem and his piece of his being able to sleep was not that there was it was an absence of a problem but it was the presence of God God's promise was never that you wouldn't have problems but his promise was that you he'd never leave you alone in your problem then I walk with you that lo I will never leave you even to the ends of the earth now for whatever you deal with I'm right there you go through their depression I'm right there you go through sickness I'm right there you go through financial straits I'm right there God's promise was I'm right there when God is with you God's presence the realization of God's presence brings his peace the realization of God's presence brings his peace notice in mark chapter 4 verse 35 as evening came Jesus said to his disciples let's cross to the other side of the lake and so they took Jesus in the boat and started out in leaving the crowds behind although other boats followed but soon a fierce storm came up and high waves were breaking into the boat and it began to fill with water Jesus was sleeping in the back of the boat with his head on a cushion and the disciples woke him woke him up shouting teacher don't you care that we were going to drown and when Jesus woke up he rebuked the wind and said to the waves silence be still and suddenly the wind stopped and there was a great calm you see Jesus was in a storm but there was no storm in Jesus you can be in a storm but as long as there's no storm in you you can sleep you know when you treat people fairly you sleep at night no matter what's going on no matter what people are saying about you if you know in your own heart that I've been fair with people I've done what's right there's no storm in you but if you at war with your own conscience there's no peace the Bible says that there is no no rest for the wicked that they can find no rest because they don't treat people right because they do evil things they try to tear down other people listen may I just remind you of this you don't lift yourself up by tearing somebody else down you can't rise while you're trying to push other people down the more you push somebody else down the more you try to attack them and criticize them the law you hold yourself down you can't rise while you pushing other people down that's not the way to get above and so you have to have a peace on the inside of you but that happens because you don't have any storm in you that can be storm all around you but you ought to be able to carry peace on the inside of you Jesus as he taught the Beatitudes he says blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God now listen I want you to notice he didn't say blessed are the peace keepers he said blessed are the peacemakers that means that they have to be in us in a situation and circumstance where there's a lack of peace and God then uses them to take the peace that is on the inside of them and make the peace jesus said my peace I give you I cannot tell you the number of times that I have gone to the bedside of individuals the night before their surgery and that's this anxiety you've ever had surgery that's this anxiety of not knowing whether you're gonna live or die without make it through my surgery whether I'll recover from the anesthesia and and I sense that the moment that I touch their hands I can I can sense that anxiety but I carry a piece on the inside of me and I can't tell you the number of times that I have just imparted the piece and a piece sometimes they'll fall asleep before I can get out of the room the peace of God I'm in parting to them peace I remember one time that was a I witnessed a terrible accident and I got out and the woman was sitting at the steering wheel in her car shaking and trembling she was in shock I realized that she was bleeding from her forehead she's in shock and I just got out and walked to the side of her door and I began to speak the peace of God in her life in their life I'm looking at blood I'm looking at her car torn up and that was a calm on the inside of me I just released the peace that was on the inside into the atmosphere I never raised my voice I never acted as though there was something of panic there I released the peace and I said you can take your hands off the steering wheel now now lean back under your seatbelt she listened to every instruction such a peace and a calm got out of her she got out of the car and that was a peace and a calm over her there sometimes God will bring you into a chaotic situation just so that you as an act of your faith can release peace those that do know their God shall display strength and take action shall display strength and take action shall display strength and take action it takes faith to go into business every business is a risk whenever you go into business you take a risk whatever you try to work for yourself you take a risk but that's why you have to displace string and take action it doesn't mean that there's an absence of problems and challenges and threats risks it means that in the face of this I'm doing it anyhow real faith says I'm running scared I'm scared to death but I'm running I'm still taking action I'm still taking action I'm still taking action I'm still taking action I'm not being intimidated out of this to the degree that I'm an allowing it to make me sedentary paralyzed I'm still taking action here's what I want you to see is that when you're in a storm faith it use your faith when you're in a storm faith it faith it faith it use your faith here's a simple definition of what faith is faith is expecting what you cannot see to come to pass if all that is faith is expecting what you cannot see to come to pass that's all it is faith is expecting what you cannot see to come to pass if God has said something you have faith in that thing faith is expecting what you cannot see right now to come to pass and let me give you a definition of fear fear is expecting what you cannot see to come to pass fear is nothing but faith in Reverse is just faith in reverse if you notice they are the same definition both of them are an expectancy when a person fears they're expecting the worse when they believe they're expecting the best you determine that whether you possess faith or fear by the presence of Jesus with you when he's with you you know that he's with you and you're expecting the thing that you cannot see to come to pass Abraham expected that the generations that locked in his loins he believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness he believed that though he couldn't see the children and the grandchildren yet he believed that they were there that they were coming to pass and he didn't have fear he had faith expecting those things that you cannot see to come to to pass and then there's some people that check for lumps in their body every day expecting what they cannot see to come to the pass there's a fine line between faith and fear I sort of liking it like tears we cry when we get extremely happy but we also cry when we are extremely sad how do you tell whether these are tears of joy or tears of sorrow they're the same tears they're the same tears and the way that faith works is the same faith and fear they operate by the same power they have attractive energy they tap into something but one engages the forces of heaven the other engages the forces of hell if you'll never notice when God had a conversation with Jobe the Bible had said that God had placed a hedge around Joe Satan told God he says Lord is not fair he says you've got a hedge around Joe and I can't touch him and then the Bible says in job chapter 3 and verse 25 it says job said that the very thing that I have feared has come upon me the very thing that he had fear this this negative power that now engaged hell and it lowered the protection of the field around him that God had fear lowers the protective gate fear lowers it but faith raises it so he says the very thing that I have feared has come upon me check it out on your Bibles Joe chapter 3 verse 25 he says the very thing that I have feared has come upon me fear is expecting those things that you cannot see to come to pass the very thing that I have feared fear gave power to it but faith gives power to the things of heaven and God just was saying I just want you to trust me I want you to believe me I want you to walk in this faith and and watch what I'll do watch what I'll do the faith to believe God must be accompanied by the faithfulness to see it through the faith to believe God must be accompanied by the faithfulness to see it through if you're gonna be faith filled you must be faithful it's just simple if you're gonna be faith filled you must be faithful because there's a diligence to fail and real faith is always connected to an action it's always connected to action and sometimes that action might be as simple as God just telling you to hold your tongue now I'm not saying that holding your tongue is easy because some people's tongues are so they are so spontaneous they are so loquacious and so deadly that it's a major major feat for them to hold their tongue but as you hold your peace it is a sign that you're trusting God and that's why when God told Joshua to have the children of Israel to walk around the walls of Jericho one time each day for six days and on the seventh day walk around seven times and I want you to notice what Joshua told them in Joshua chapter 6 in verse 12 Joshua commanded the people do not shout don't even talk Joshua commanded not a single word from any of you until I tell you to shout then shout because he says have you opened your mouth to go mess this up he says just walk and keep your mouth closed and listen this is somebody's word today just walk and keep your mouth closed just walk and keep your mouth closed keep your mouth closed on your job just walk and keep your mouth closed in your marriage just walk and keep your mouth closed you get ready to start a war you can start a war with your mouth the only reason that he says don't don't open your mouth he says walk around the thing and don't don't open your mouth until I tell you in the shower because he was saying to them in essence that you can sabotage with your mouth your own victory and that's right you have to be careful because there are too many people that have messed up their lives they lose their job because they can't hold their mouth they lose their marriages because they cannot hold their mouth they lose friendships because they cannot hold their mouth they mess up relationship with mom and daddy because they cannot hold their mouth you'll be surprised and I'm just telling you when you just are able to walk and keep your mouth closed and trust that God will work this thing out trust and trust them trust me here's a great secret if you want to hold your peace hold your peace hold your peace stop giving people a piece of your mind you need all of the little mind you have you can't afford to give people any more of your mind away you you will your body will function if you give all of your mind away don't give people a piece of your mind give them a piece of your peace peace stops the war peace stops the war peace stops the war peace stops it notice James chapter 2 and verse 18 but someone will say you have faith and I have works show me your faith apart from your works and I will show you my faith by my works you believe that God is one you do well but he says even the demons believe in shudder do you want to be shown you foolish person that faith apart from works is useless was not Abraham our Father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar you see that faith was active along with his works and faith was completed by his works and the scripture was fulfilled that says abraham believed god and it was counted to him as justice and he was called a friend of God and you see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone and in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way for as the body apart from the Spirit is dead so also faith apart from works is dead because those that know their God now shall display strength and take action they'll display strength and take action I love this little anonymous quote that says a bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking because it's Trust is not in the branch but in its own wings God is our set of wings God is our set of wings and not only is he our set of wings he's the wind beneath our wings and when you use your faith to handle your challenge I want you to understand that your faith must be unrelenting you can't have just to stop and start faith you can't just speak the word of faith and just declare something by faith and assume that because you said at one time that it's going to take root and you'll have the manifestation of it tomorrow you're gonna have to keep on standing in faith day after day after day after day after day after day if you believe something in fact the word believe say believe to believe simply means to never give up if I believe in my dream I'll never give up on it the day that I give up on my dream I stop believing in it are you listening to believe literally means to never give up the word in the original Greek literally means to commit to the moment that I stop believing I've ended my commitment when I no longer tried means that I've stopped committing to it I have given up so when I believe if I said I believe if I say that I believe my faith in God must be unrelenting no matter how long takes no matter how long it takes no matter how long it takes if you believe in God for something if God says it is yours no matter how long it takes and see we get frustrated if we don't get it in the first three days I mean it doesn't come in a week I mean if it's a month you know and you know we just give up on something but you'd be surprised God is God you have to have an unrelenting faith the one that doesn't give up that you're committed to that says I believe in this I believe in this I believe in my dream so I'm not gonna give up I believe in it I believe in it you might have to make adjustments but I believe in and you continue to believe that and confess that particularly when you have the faith in your heart that God has spoken to you and you have a confirmation of God's Word notice what he says in Romans chapter 4 verse 16 notice how Abraham operated so the promise is received by faith by faith not by fact the promise is received by faith it is received by faith and it is given as a free gift and we are all certain to receive it whether or not we live according to the law of Moses or if we live if we have faith like Abraham's for Abraham is the father of all who believe that is what the scriptures mean when God told him I've made you the father of many nations this happened because abraham believed in the God who brings back brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing even when there was no reason for hope Abraham kept hoping I like the way how this says it in the King James it says abraham believed in hope against hope he never gave up believing that he would become the father of many nations for God had said to him that's how many descendants you'll have and Abraham's faith did not weaken it did not weaken it did not weaken even though at about a hundred years of age he figured that his body was as good as dead and so was Sarah's wound the King James Version says that he staggered not he staggered not he wavered not in his faith he he was not weakened in his face even though it took 25 years for the manifestation of it to come he believed he kept believing he was committed to it and he refused to give up you know why because faith is a choice and you can make that choice faith is a choice faith is a choice you choose to believe you choose to act you have to choose to defy the odds you have to choose to overcome you know the devil could tell you you can't do this nobody in your family has ever done this why don't you tell the devil devil I'm gonna be the first in my family to get out devil I'm the first in my family who's coming out of debt I'm the first in my family who's gonna finish college devil I'm the first I'm coming out oh I'm coming out I don't care if I may not be able to do it in four years I if I'm on the six year plan the seven year plan the eight year plan listen one of my classmates to get 12 years to get out of college but he got out I commend him that he didn't give up you know why cuz he was a student and he would be in my class and I'd see him in class he was a preacher he be goes somewhere preach the Bible for a whole week and flunk the class have to come back and take it again it took him 12 years but he got out and I'm just telling you if you believe you commit yourself to it until you finish it took Abraham 25 years he was old his wife was all but he believed God he believed in hope again so he said listen we too old to be start over we do all to be trying to do something new here but he said I believe God God told me this when I was 75 I'm 99 now and he refused he said you know what my wife is 89 she isn't no more fertile now than what she was back then but I believe God and guess what happened [Music] when Abraham was 99 years old God takes him outside and he says Abraham look up and he says count the stars he's 99 but he knew how to count and he looked up and after he got to up team he lost count he couldn't count them he discovered that the stars of the heavens this celestial constellation was incalculable and innumerable he realized he could not count him and scientists tell us that there are at least 10 sextillion stars that are in the heavens a sextillion is a one followed by 2100 's you may not understand how much of sextillion ears but a million a thousand million is called a billion a thousand billion is called a trillion a thousand trillion is called a quadrillion a thousand quadrillion is called a quintillion and a thousand quintillion is called a sextillion there are 10 sextillion stars into heaven is what our scientists tell us so when God spoke to Abraham and said hey old man I'm gonna make your seed your descendants after you like the stars in the hip now he said you believe in me for one child and I want you to take a look up there I've got 10 sextillion stars up there is anything too hard for God and this old man said well I guess daddy oughta go in here get busy [Applause] and he changed his name from Abram to Abraham he said woman start calling me daddy even though we don't have a child yet who's in it is your daddy and your daddy fate of the choice is a choice as a choice may I say this to you you didn't only come this far to only come this far let me say that to you again you didn't only come this far to come this far let me say that again you didn't only come this far to come this far do you think that God is finished with you do you think a dog with birth a vision in your heart and he not has he said it and will he not do it you didn't come this far to only come this far you didn't come this far don't come this far you didn't come this far to only come this o see it finish burn your baby have give birth to the vision that's on the inside of you step into your destiny I know you've not done it yet yet yes yes but it's there it is there God has an in store for you if you can believe in God's greatest need is to be believed his greatest need is to be believed God's greatest need is to be believed you know there were a couple of times that Jesus commended people for having great faith only two times in the Ministry of Jesus that he ever said that anybody's faith was great he said that to a Roman centurion in Matthew chapter 8 he says you got great faith Jesus marvel at this man's great faith because this man said I'm a man in authority just like you and he says you don't have to come into my house he said I'm not even worthy that you should come under my roof says speak the word only and my servant I be healed Jesus marble if this man's great faith call it great faith only two times as Jesus said in about his faith was great and the second time was a Canaanite woman in Matthew chapter 15 this Canaanite woman had a daughter that was grievously vexed of a devil and she came and Jesus marvel at this woman's faith because he tried to talk her out of it he says us in children he says healing is the children's bread and the two things that I notice about this great faith but specific thing there may be more but I've noticed these two is it neither one of these individuals neither the Roman centurion nor the Canaanite woman neither of them were Jews so they didn't have a right to the promises of God as the children of Israel neither of them were Jews neither neither was a Jew and secondly both of them came asking Jesus to do something out of compassion for someone else and not for themselves and he called their faith great you never become great about what you do for yourself you only become great about what you do for others so here these were two individuals who were not even supposed to be recipients of the promise and we are children of Abraham by faith he is her father we were in that cloud in the sky as a star that God was showing to Abraham and Abraham little did he know at that time that he would have asian children that believed in him little did he know that there would be those that would come to faith and they were black from Africa little did he know that whites from Europe would come little did he know that the Latinos would come little did he know that he would have to end we are all children of Abraham by faith our faith calls us to be grafted in but he saw us and so here when he said great faith these were individuals who were not Jews and the promise was not directly to them but they were grafted in and then they were asking for something for someone else where's the last time that you asked God to do something for someone else well your prayer wasn't so selfish asking God to bless me bless what I'm doing bless bless no no when Jesus said great faith may God ask you me may you ask God to give you a vision to be able to bless other people Meimei what you produce out of you may not be just something that makes you rich but something that provides employment to others something that opens up the door to others that God has helped you to get out and that he's helped you to be able to provide a way and then may your way that you provide provide a way for others me what God does through you become a blessing to others may it empower others may lift up others may it liberate others into the destiny that God has called for them that's where you have great faith great faith is never based on what you ask God to do for you personally it's what you ask God to do through you God is great and if you just let God be great through you just let him be great through you and I just want you to know that whenever you've been in the presence of God there's a humility that comes in your heart is anybody who like Jacob spent the night with God you know he could have been the man he could have said you know what I had on tape if any from God God showed himself to me he could have gotten like a Pharisee or called self righteous person to say you know I'm special cause God showed himself to me God visited me he came to me and pen down around but know when you've had a true encounter with the Spirit of God it doesn't puff you up in pride in umbels you and humility whenever you've had an experience with God you do not leave out of the presence of God with a strut but a limp and that's the way that that Jacob came from his encounter with God he had his per Nile experience where he saw the face of God he had a god encounter and it didn't leave him with this arrogance and this prod but but he walked away with a limb not with a strut no flesh has the authority to strut in God's presence you don't strut in the presence of the Holy who art thou what is man that thou art mindful of him with nothing but dust and clean you can't strut in goddess look what I look you're not the man you're not the woman you're a miserable sinner a wretch a worm he says such what some of you and he said I'm gonna leave a place a hollow in your thigh well you'll always walk with a limp because God was saying I want people to know that you weren't always perfect I want to know I want them to know that you were jacked up that you were messed up and that I touched you that I healed you that I redeem you that's why he said we walk by faith and not by it's not what it looks like but he says I will leave you in a limb I'm not gonna hear you all the way I'm oh I'm gonna let him look at you and they're gonna be able to tell that you've been on methamphetamine they don't know that I redeem you from this they gotta know they're gonna know they gotta see what crack will do they will see what excessive alcohol will do they they don't they don't know what this thug life will do in you he said I believe it I believe you with a limp so there when I touch you when I save you when I redeem you when I reach down and get you they gotta know that you're still gonna be walking and something that should've kill you you still moving you're still going by by faith some of you are have been redeemed by God and you don't even know why God let you live you don't even understand but you but you see living on they realize something happen but it didn't kill you it didn't stop you you're still walking by faith you're not sitting you're walking by faith you're still moving in him we live and we move and we have our being that we're still gonna serve God that even though you messed up and you didn't do everything perfectly but God said I'm still gonna use you for my glory you may do this with a left but you're gonna help other people because they're in other people that are crippled and who could walk right either and he said I'm gonna show them that as I touch you you've been a deceiver you've been a hustler you've been out here getting over old people but he said I'm getting ready to do something in you Jacob I'm gonna do something and they gonna know that you're a prince for God but I'm gonna leave just a little bit of that old man in you where you were damaged just to let them know that my glory has visited you that I have sat upon you that I've touched you that I've healed you that I have redeemed you and I just want you to know that there's same God he saw us in our brokenness he saw us in our fallen state and he said to us still I see you and I still love you and I'm still gonna use you for my redemptive purpose in the earth and everything that God had planned for you the devil has made you think that because you messed up that you've been disqualified God already knew that you would mess up that's why he sent a savior that's why he sent a redeemer to be able to restore you and to set your feet on solid ground so that you can still walk this time by faith and not by sight and know that the Living God was in the midst of doing something in your life that is not attributable to the works of the flesh and so that's why he says don't strut in my presence you better live there to say this is look what the Lord has done look what the Lord has done I was messed up I was on my way to hell I've been through a terrible fight I've been in spiritual warfare demons almost had me destroyed I almost lost my mind but I'm still here I may have a limp but there's lepers to the glory of God it is a testimony more that gives you a conversation piece but now you can tell them this is what the Lord has done it is marvelous in my eyes he has touched me and made me oh but he leaves I live just so there are no way you're being and what you've been through he leaves a left he leaves a lamp you fight with your faith when you're faced with the challenge use your faith use your faith faith in faith a faith in faith in faith in faith it where you let God walk through take your seats for just we hope that you enjoyed that message don't forget to Like and subscribe and
