give us money to not play the game you already paid for it because I put roadblocks in the game that you want to get over isn't that pay to win no because we call the time savers but wait there's more 365 days for delivery visit us at [Music] I know this review is late but I literally had to drag myself kicking and screaming through playing this game because to be perfectly honest Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon breakpoint is one of the most boring and repetitive and microtransaction filled games I have ever had the displeasure of reviewing it no longer resembles any of the unique mechanics and identity of the Ghost Recon series the older ones instead it prefers to reuse remix copycat all the same Ellen's from other increasingly bland Ubisoft titles it's it's like division light it's like assassin's creed gear system Odyssey it's every low effort cookie cutter Ubisoft open-world game and this is a sad shell of its former self worse it's a chore to play through thank you for your first purchase get the eye patch cuz we just poke your eye out so we can steal more money from your [ __ ] wallet when you ain't looking they have an eye patch yes but y'all gonna buy something to get the eye patch Joe ah I pitch you can't tell them past because I finished it the AI it's pathetic venturing out now this [ __ ] guy so stupid I steal this friend not doing well people take magazines to the chest they take just one shot to the head and realism and that makes everything so simple hi okay [Laughter] and honestly I do like that implementation like the reverse bullet sponge mentality but if you're going to do that you're gonna need some much better AI that actually uses tactics instead of this [ __ ] hey link down the bow he got off shoes that you throw on the folk dance in the kitchen to the moan around losing your Saturday night I only really found the challenge in these Terminator Hunter Killer tanks that sometimes guard like weapon blueprints and crap that you know we would need a group to take on it see how I hit it with more rockets look at itself right click and look at it Rockets do zero damage I'm gonna go Ram it with the helicopter but shooting down drones and these tanks and these brain-dead one-shot kill enemies will really test your patience sorry I'm breaking down 300 items by hand one at a time cuz this game [ __ ] inventory system is a nightmare boost so obviously we have another looter shooter here collecting guns and loot that's alright and the combat is fine but if your opponents are worthless then it's just not fun your experience will be summed up like this talk to some boring dude with another boring vanilla task and he tells you to go across the map for Intel you run around till you realize helicopters are really the only good way of getting around this ridiculously too large an empty map that's nothing filled with nothing but mindless fighting so you'll find a helicopter you'll fly there you'll walk up to a laptop to investigate the investigations in this game are pathetic having to go get Intel and then it's not good enough that you just picked it up you have to open your menu and then look at it and then exit your menu and then put the Intel down then go to where it's telling you it's it's designed to waste your time I'll couple that with the item the item level thing that won't let you do the endgame content so you're 150 dollars click lightning strike yep a plus lightning strike then you fly all the way back and you just rinse and repeat over and over now welcome back to angry skies this is your captain Joe Vargas speaking [Music] I'll get it a lot of trouble if you jump out so I'd appreciate it if you'd stay seated and buckle your safety belts we appear to be approaching a mountain face I'm gonna go ahead and slam us into this thing right here because it seems like somebody doesn't appreciate my flying so we'll see how much he appreciates it when I slam his head into the side of the mountain massive distances which is nothing in between the vehicles there's no radio no stations no banter back and forth no story no nothing desperately needs radio stations or something music there's like no like what are you thinking are you dumb there's a whole album that you can buy idiot give us it is so unbearable in single-player even more so than last year's game at the very least wildlands included AI companions that would they would talk to each other on these long trips giving more context and life to the boring journeys here it's just dead silence and it's maddening heard of it I've heard too many details but do you know I'm sorry you know man very busy excuse me clearly Wow Wow Wow yes now Google signs are you [ __ ] kidding no but at least this year they fix a boring story that was the big criticism of last year's title right wrong my people got some business with you and if you want your kid back then you gotta cooperate right wrong sure they tricked and hired Jon Bernthal to a pretty good actor to come in and give some gravitas to the story as the main villain mostly and inappropriately timed flashbacks yeah so the flashback scenes with Jon are great they're you know more entertaining but they're like injected awkwardly into the story like she's talking to you and you're like hey you go back into but even he can't lift up story here it can't get any more generic any more i rolling it is a bottom of the barrel stuff that Tom Clancy himself would be rolling in his grave if he knew what kind of [ __ ] was being churned out with his name on it no no Ramona no I told you uncut uncut or we are through oh my god oh god that was dangerous headshots ischemia no except for those stupid annoying drones they take so many bucks there's no head hi Billy Mays here with another exciting quest for you take this USB put it in that building give me the bag that we just came from yeah certain death awaits go on you know certain death I'm gonna hurt that phrasing oh you got him started way back in the day of me and my old military buddies we got in a jam this is how we got out if I remember right got them he's in a flashback so that's all we got to do right just let's go plug it in anyway can you any computer oh look who are you hi I'm Billy Mays and I just gave you a robot quest now let's get out I got something dude let's go get at all I remember okay somebody told me to skedaddle it's like you remember right went something like this [Music] [Applause] hey hey [ __ ] off go I got stuff to do yeah I told you one thing a lot of time unmarked good dope the fake-ass dialog multiple choice answers it desperately tries to keep you awake but even that is a joke as no matter which option you pick even insane ones like I'm gonna kill you the person just ignores you are you still gonna kill us yes yes it going to kill you I hated your glasses do it yes right there now as much as I'd like to tell you two pieces don't settle out there I still need you but you bet your ass I'm telling Paul the way you and Haruhi did no I said kill them you murdered 30 people what do you think yes I'm sorry oh [ __ ] off you don't kill him at all you just it just does it's one linear path and and hadn't mind already anyway I hate false meaningless choices and games that are poorly covered up and that sums up this entire game that phrase yes we Oh God hold on Joe she's got one more let me just talk to dichloro No no no [ __ ] foot [ __ ] heart turn no I can wait letting dirty so without meaningful choices without worthwhile enemy AI without a damn story that you give a [ __ ] about maybe you could fall back on just gun collecting right gun loot like so many other better looter shooters out there and maybe appreciate how beautiful this world is at times like on PC that is Bush Bush is a good boy like the best part of this game for me is right when you load it up after being away your characters like just standing there in the wilderness and the wind blowing and the sun shining and the foliage looks great it's kind of my opinion I mean it looks beautiful at times sure but as you could okay mmm yeah yeah I think I just proved them a point there so there's this huge potential out there and for those few seconds it feels like you might be about to play a better game until you run smack dab into the game's numerous bugs on my screen you're literally holding every single gadget in your hand at once and it just looks like you're struggling to hold everything I'm holding all of my equipment this is what it would actually look like but if the game was realistic so it's trying to take a picture of what you look like on my screen I said it too but it had the flash on basically I was in a sitting position Jan in the helicopter except for I was flying the helicopter from the tail section not the time getting caught on terrain all right I'm going to let you bleed out so you can really not like multimap where where you know you can't get stuck quest that won't trigger when you're at the trigger point Crash's other Jo has disconnected no you guys doing the cutscene then no then and we're still in the cutscene so you disconnected bed and said I'm leaving he said [ __ ] this dialog of God you're leaving glitches galore you're a wall yes okay I can't I've been holding space I did X I'm in the map I'm doing everything it won't let me deploy anywhere I'm just stuck God why did it spawn enemies right next to us I wasn't gonna [ __ ] die I'm a god plus a legendary drop so I want to stay alive I won't want to I just [ __ ] guide out of nowhere in the ether of the gods of Valhalla of the games stupid broken [ __ ] [ __ ] is with you you're wielding a suppressor Johnny I didn't even know you could do that okay nobody wait that's doctor that's absent take a picture of all please cuz Joe is holding nothing dr. Evil's holding all of his gun well my screen dr. evil is wielding a suppressor frustrating if you die to overleveled enemies they'll just kill you in one shot the game thinks it's a great idea to then spawn you're 115 miles away from your teammates without any consideration to the terrain in between just messily throw you into the world leading to the most boring hike back teammates who are still in the firefight it's [ __ ] awful did it spawn you inside his base that's amazing what our lair it spawned me on the other entrance of his base I think oh my god look at how far this game spawn this game spawns are [ __ ] broken and [ __ ] we're spawning on Dell and here's where it puts us then [ __ ] this broken ass game this is [ __ ] [ __ ] and if this this ending is gonna be [ __ ] I can just feel it it's this is this is ridiculous the game feels half-baked felt like an unfinished collection of ideas it is a complete waste look at this [ __ ] I have to show you this mission guys this is quite possibly the laziest mission look this the second you hit any vehicle all the dudes fall off look look right here yeah and it was one bullet they all hop out of the freaking truck this is supposed to be a set piece battle within goes recon break point yes wonderful the sounds of the cars little romp on suspension oh my god there's more guys here oh no oh no another car guess it's gonna happen off they all hopped out there's there's no Street gunfire everywhere all that one almost got me ladies and gentlemen oh my god are they gonna put up a fight no they're gonna happen this is my life now [ __ ] this game however the misery doesn't just end there no not content with just butchering the Ghost Recon franchise with all this and I just talked about somehow it strips wild lands down the previous tile and makes it one big blatant platform for selling microtransactions this game has more microtransactions than any other game I've played recently holy [ __ ] [ __ ] what the [ __ ] are all these [ __ ] tabs insulting when so much of it is week already and they think people will actually put money into this jet [ __ ] this is ridiculous nearly every goddamn aspect of the game is [ __ ] monetized trash straight of Tralee really for 360 so you're telling me that's three dollars what the [ __ ] has happened to [ __ ] Ghost Recon is this what goes recon is now any aspect you can think of has microtransactions any and every damn element of the game is being monetized I could not believe what I was seeing heyo Jay Billy Mays here I see that you're playing our game and I move pins they sell everything on this [ __ ] literally everything Chet this is all in a $60 game it's not even worth $60 and many of these you could grind for sure but many of them are specifically designed to be grinding so you buy these so called time savers and XP dumps blue you you wants you want to [ __ ] charge me 1200 credits for [ __ ] blue for [ __ ] plow again one charge me $13 is that is that what I'm saying oh it's a [ __ ] bundle it's a [ __ ] bundle what are you doing man what are you [ __ ] doing this is so [ __ ] lazy man what your [ __ ] with you this is a turning point for you guys seriously what the [ __ ] are you doing yes Ubisoft recently removed them saying no there were a mistake and they were supposed to be there at launch right now apathetic totally misguided excuse coz they're coming back because that's what this game is it's a piece of [ __ ] that's over monetized to hell and back being butchered by corporate into something unrecognizable without its own identity it has to freaking ape other better games you you can't even kill the [ __ ] boss after one hour of gameplay you can beat the final boss I'm not joking Dell interrogated a random enemy commander and got the final boss mission at the start so I select Intel together brother versus brother avenge of brothers-in-arms oh that's the mission to kill Walker and then he killed him by choosing it as a boss that was like 200 to our 50 and he's like level 10 so he cheesed it got him we got Walker get us to kill abilities we're dudes yeah first try to c4 plan works by the way all right so he killed the main bad guy good job guys who's actually kind of the only cool thing in the game right because as he progressed through the story the cutscenes actually had to make adjustments like every time Jon's character was supposed to show up they would replace it with the second-hand man in the game when the actor John was there in my game it's just a shame that everyone else on this mission board is just a chore to get through and not at all satisfying to complete their web of storylines and that is this game PDP multiplayer ghost war it isn't all that much better it's fine I guess I guess it's fine it's not like what I'd call super fun but it gets old quick and there's like 4 on 4 mode that heavily relies on scout drones spotting so you can mop up the enemy quickly sort of like Call of Duty's 2v2 but not as fast not as repeatable not as fun ya know the final verdicts for Ubisoft ghost Creed recon division microtransaction breaking oh is at its best ever like at its most best a five out of ten with friends but honestly no no it is so often worse than that consistently and considering the microtransactions were so bad and excessive cuz they had to take some out late to put back in later this is an easy four out of ten and playing by yourself even worse three do not waste your time with break point there are far better games this year that deserve your time attention and money the only thing it had going for it was this release window where it wasn't competing with much else and I pretty much had to review it even weeks late I'm sure it picked up just some onboard sales off of that but if this is the direction the Ghost Recon is going in the future and help every single Ubisoft title going forward count me out because they're all gonna raid around this score unless something has radically changed and some better effort put in until then I'll see you guys on the next entry Joe show Oh Billy Mays what are you doing my house I told you nobody runs This has to be the best Breakpoint review I've seen to date. I mean there were plenty of reviews that shit on this craptastic game but this is the first that the reviews portrayed the true frustration of being forced to play a horrible game because it's their job.

By the time I go to the end of the review I was actually starting to feel back for them.

I cant watch these reviews anymore. I've gotten through them in the past and I agree with alot of what he says and he does seem to genuinely care about being accurate and you can hear the excitement and disappointment in his voice based on how the game was....

...but holy shit are the videos cringe as hell with the goofy scripted parts, cheap costumes and greenscreen stuff. I can't take it.
