GE Patterson Bring Them To Jesus

from the tenth chapter of the book of st. mark and verse 13 and they brought young children to him that he should touch them that's really where I want to stop right there and they the congregation the audience the people that were listening to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they brought young children to him to Jesus that he should touch them that's a whole sermon right there and I want to say to every one of you that is here in temple of deliverance as well as our television viewing audience my subject or my theme for this brief message is bring them to Jesus will you reach over and touch somebody and tell them bring them to Jesus I like that I like that bring them to Jesus we are speaking here and the scripture was speaking specifically about little children but let me enlarge upon it for just a moment because there are many people hearing my voice right now there are many who are viewing this telecast you've got problems you've got situations and we may as well face it all of us have situations in our lives that we find ourselves totally inadequate to cope with it may be a problem it may be a need it may be a financial need it may be a domestic need it might even just be any motional or a mental need but I want to set to you concerning that thing that you haven't been able to handle whatever those problems are whatever those needs are bring them to Jesus you've been taking them to the psychoanalyst and to the psychiatrist but bring them to Jesus you've been carrying them to your neighbors that's got more problems than you've got bring them to Jesus some have been even carrying them to the newspaper every city has its particular resident problem solver or they have a syndicated column where somebody writes in to this individual that can solve all problems and most of these people that are supposed to be able to solve all the problems they themselves they don't have that life together now the reason I know they don't have that life together if you don't know Jesus you don't have your life together it doesn't matter how many degrees you have you don't have your life to if you don't know Jesus and we've carried our problems to just about everybody now it's time to gather them all up just bundle them up they Scout it to the wind but bring them all in hallelujah take your friend take your neighbor take your relatives off the case have you ever tried a lawyer and that lawyer you look like was working for the other folder come on you need to just get all and that stuff together and just load it up and bring it and just kind of dump it on Jesus he's big enough to have me he's got the concern to handle it hallelujah he's equipped to have me he loves you enough to have me whatever the problems are touch somebody again and tell him neighbor bring them to Jesus praise God and we really need to be mindful of that as it relates to our domestic problems whatever those domestic problems are we need to bring them to Jesus in this particular instance we find that Jesus was ministering and during the time of our Lord's earthly ministry he owned the earth to go to one of the services being conducted by Jesus anything might happen because it was constantly changing the scene was constantly changing they had just finished talking to Jesus about a woman who was found in act of adultery what are we gonna do about it you know what Moses law said that she ought to be put to death and while they were telling him about that situation Palin's just kind of broke it up and came on in the midst and brought their children and Jesus had to be able to deal with from one thing to another that's why nowadays I don't I don't go so much for these services where nothing happens you know when you go there exactly what hymns the choir is going to sing and everything is so cold and so dead and so procedural and so you know ritualistic nobody walks out of the door at the end of service weeping and yet shouting and praising God for what has happened everything is just so matter-of-fact whenever the Spirit of God is at work man cannot really predict what's going to happen because when we give the service to the Holy Ghost we don't know which way God's don't lead so that thing is over praise God you know I love it we've come here sometimes and we shout and praise God and on the end of the service maybe the last thing we do is get the offering and folk come down the aisle and give them money and still go out shower I get downstairs into the offering and I think you know into the office and I think everybody's going next thing I hear something bumping up over my head somebody still up here praising God folks say what you want to whenever Jesus is in the midst there is an excitement that's something going on glory to God not not now you all can have that old coal religion if you want to like they talked about the two churches one on one corner one on the other and why one very quiet and the sins will there be any stars on my crown the one across the street of sin no y'all can have that you can have that amen I like to be in the service where I'm where the Holy Ghost might just break things up hallelujah and all of a sudden somebody stop screaming I'm healed you know those of you who were here Tuesday night praise God we we thought we had caught the elevator to the top floor and about time we were getting ready to quit the next thing God just put us on a rocket ship and we just went on high [Music] [Applause] you see that's the kind of service Jesus conducted these parents just woke up what was going on hallelujah they brought their little children desiring that Jesus would just lay his hands on them they said like if Jesus would just touch them things would be different before you can say what you want to whenever you get a touch from Jesus things are different hallelujah you you can be having financial problems but I'm dad you then let God touch your checkbook I dare you to let him touch your wallet your money situation will change you can be having problems in your home with the children or with the husband or with the wife or even with the in-laws but I dare you to have a good trial meeting and let God move his head in and touch your home any time Jesus touches it things are different Oh bless His Holy Name they wanted to know Lord we just want you to take a little time and touch our children I don't really know what they said naturally the Bible does not try to give us word for word and situation by situation John says Jesus did so much that if all of the things done by Jesus have been written in a book even the world would not contain the books that would be written but look like I can use the eyes of my imagination and the eyes of the Spirit and sit in on that service when Jesus was bringing the rubble the people were bringing that little ones to Jesus and here comes a mother with her child and saying master I just don't know what the trouble is but but this child just is hard-headed and disobedient the child is too young to be like that I don't know what it is thing I tell them to do the child does the exact opposite here's another one that comes up and said well master my child seems to stay sick all the time another one well Auden my child is slow developing you know he ought to be walking by now but but he haven't even started crawling and here is another one log that there's something wrong with my child he ought to be able to talk by now but he's not talking here's another one Lord mine is talking but the words he's saying is not so holy but they all brought them to Jesus master if you touch him hallelujah hope you can say what you want to the devil is trying his best to destroy our nation by destroying our homes no matter what you said god only our name three institutions and the first thing that he ordained ills behold then the nation and later on the church these are the only three institutions that God have ordained now we got all kind of institutions in our land but God instituted the whole and the devil said if I'm gonna destroy the nation if I'm gonna destroy the church I've got to destroy the whole and what better place to start than to start in the children and a whole lot of times you look at these movies and they're talking about demon-possessed children honey that's not a fable that thing is real the devil infiltrates the minds of little children and many times we wait and come out I've gotta wait till they get 12 years old I don't know why you ever got that thing that a child is not accountable until 12 he knows right from wrong long time before he's 12 and while you're waiting for him to get 12 or 13 to really start drilling him on Jesus the devil is working on him he's working on him in the streets of the neighborhood where you live he's working on it with the minute folks some of them that's in the family some of the cousins and some of the aunts and uncles you don't hear what I'm saying the devil is drilling all kind of junk into I told you all the other night that that some of you parents catch that little child that can hardly talk and the child is cursing and you got the nerve to be laughing and talking about this cute listen it's not to if you let that go unchecked sooner or later that same child will have you afraid to live in your own house that same child will be taking money out of your pocket look why are you asleep to go out in the streets and buy drugs how the new you but I'll hear you let Jesus touch him the better because of Jesus Ketchum every scene of the devil will dry up if Jesus touch him evil will come out of their heart and come out of their mind and they'll be pointed in the right direction if Jesus touch him while glory hallelujah I'm gonna have to quit this but I told you I wasn't gonna be long today thank you Jesus the Lord is concerned about these little ones yes he is in that 18th chapter of Saint Matthew verse 6 jesus said whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck that he was drowned in the depths of the sea he's concerned about the little ones and if you skip over the verse 10 take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones now the word despised doesn't necessarily mean what we think it means Jesus is talking about despising and he's also talking about offending and you can offend in more ways than just saying something you know in a harsh or an unkind manner you can offend the child by refusing to correct him when he does room you can offend them by letting them grow up in a godless society and say I'm not going to impose my beliefs on him you can offend them a whole lot of ways jesus said now take heed that he despised not one of these little ones I know when I was growing up in many times when you know my parents had to correct me and I thank God that I grew up in that day when parents still believed in correcting their children and when I say correcting I don't just mean by saying now all right Gilbert don't you do that no it didn't always come to me like that sometimes it came you know what a belt I enjoyed the belt my dad had whipped me with a belt that was great cuz it made a lot of noise but it didn't hurt but I came along in the day when when you know mothers had sewing machines and they actually sat down and sold for their children and for their husbands and that sewing that old Singer sewing machine every once in a while that ban on that thing would break God knows I hated to see one break because that ban on that sewing machine that was the thing that was gonna get my backside our arms or legs or anything except my face amen maybe I didn't understand it then but I look in this world today and I can thank God every time the rod of Correction was used I'm not gonna hard with nobody maybe I'm not everything I ought to be but thank God I thank him that I'm not what I could have been amen and and there were many other preachers kids in my age bracket a little older and the same age and a little younger many of them have been in their graves you don't hear what I'm saying and many times it was something because the parents did not feel that they ought to impose their religion upon their children but you see they had a rule in my house that there are certain things that you just not gonna do and stay under this roof we couldn't leave Church after shouting and praising God and then go in and turn on the high five and listen that all of this demonically inspired music you didn't hear that in my mama's house hello y'all nowadays you got folks here research and they just jumping and shouting and all hallelujah how I love Jesus and when they get home their children got and those will call the old-fashioned honky-tonk going walking there and you smell and older you know it's some kind of smoke and you get dizzy when you walk in your own house and then have an earner tells you not not you know your and do that shook nothing you need a little more persuasion than that don't you fool yourself that same child that may honor you to death now will one day thank you because you would not let them go in an ungodly way hallelujah these parents realize we've got some problems in our home we got some problems with our children so we better take them to the man that can do something about it Jesus recognized said now don't despise one of these little ones don't abuse them and don't misuse them this is a day when children are related you know many of them are being abused it's terrible when you read these stories of parents killing their own children incest huh relatives having sexual relationships with their children that's the tragic way of abusing and misusing a child but it is equally it's tragic to never touch them you should touch them in love a man somebody they should be reproved in love not in anger not with a billy club like your policeman trying to beat up somebody who just broke up whatever the place was no no no no that's a way God provider the place you don't have to go upside their head he gave him a nice place right where they sit down [Applause] and it's built to take it ma take heed that you despise not one of these little ones for I say unto you that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my father which is in heaven in that something to know that every one of these children have an angel that's in the presence of God now I got a blessing when I read that you know why I got a blessing because it lets me know that when God every time a child is born and God puts an angel at that disposal God does not find the angel simply because the child grows up john the apostle of love when he wrote to the church he entreated the church as what little children and as long as we stayed little children in the eyes of god we got our guardian angel you know when we lose our guardian angel when we grow up and get grown in our own mind don't tell me what to do i don't want the sunday-school teacher the deacon in the past in about f telling me whether I'm grown well when you're grown you find your angel I think I'm gonna stay a child hallelujah cuz whenever trouble comes i got an angel beholding the face of my Heavenly Father and all I got to do is call him in action so I said well if all the children got an angel why do so many things happen because you don't call the angel in action a lot of people have piled with that disposal but if you don't call it in action it won't do you any good you can be driving down the street in your car and go over that center line to pass somebody and here comes a car heading head-on for you all you got to do is match that accelerator to the floor and all in that extra burst of speed and you can hurry up and get out of the way but if you want to just sit there and then keep on hoping you're gonna get hit you don't hear what I'm saying you've got to call for that extra energy and that's what praying is all about Jesus told us to pray thy kingdom come thy will be done the will of God is not going to be done in this earth now in our lives unless we through prayer invoke that Tyler the angel that God have assigned of the children is not going to keep the evil away unless we invoke that angel through prayer and tell God to spare the lives of the children to rebuke those demented persons who out to try to misuse and abuse them God can heal him but we got to employ that angel to come in when the fever is burning up the child's body the only way the angel is going at you gonna have to call him in action I don't think y'all hearing me lower it to God I just touched over here in Matthew 18 chapter so in the seventeenth chapter and I'm gonna close with this this is the chapter where Jesus went up on the mountain and was transfigured before his disciples while he was up and his face began to glow like the Sun and the mole this was on one side and Elijah was on the other his disciples Peter James and John that were on the mountain with Jesus said master let's build three Tabernacles and let's stay up on the mountain but when the cloud passed over and the voice of God pulled out of the cloud and said this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased hear ye him Jesus caught them by the hand and led them down the slopes of the mountain they talked about a number of things while they were on their descent finally when they got to the bottom of the mountain there was a man that had a son who of a lunatic in other words the Sun the was swayed by the movements of the moon one time of the month the child would be alright but as the moon or glory to God would change in its quarters the child would begin that differently one time he would start falling into the fire and just before the fire would burn him up that old spirit would pull him out of the fire and throw him in the water and the man brought the child to the foot of the mountain where Jesus had left his nine disciples but they were not able to cast the devil out of that boy but when Jesus came down from the top of the mountain I hear the man when he said master have mercy on my son for he illah lunatic and folk you may as well get it out of your mind that my child is alright because he's mine it doesn't matter who it is your child in anybody else's child can have a demon of lying can have a demon of deception can have a demon of disobedience all you've got to do is realize the condition and take him to the wall that can do something about it the man said my child illa lunatic awesome the spirit throw them into the water and then it takes him out of the water and throw them into the fire I brought him to your disciples but they haven't been able to do him any good and I want to say master if you can do anything at all how Marcio much Loretha god and jesus said bring him here to me and i himself faithless and perverse generation how long shall I be with you how long shall I suffer you bring the child to me and Jesus he rebuked the devil that was in the child and the devil tried to kill him on the way out and the boy fell out on the ground but Jesus had told the devil come out and one thing about it when Jesus when Jesus said come out he's got to come out all glory to God Jesus cast the devil out of the boy and gave him back to his father but the disciple said master why we couldn't cast him out why was it we couldn't do it and Jesus said because of your unbelief and the reason the devil is defeating us in our home is because most of us believe that these are just the signs of the time and it's nothing I can do about it and as long as you think that you can't do nothing about the situation the devil will make it worse and worse but you have to realize you can change it you can change the condition yes hallelujah get that individual in your home it's staying up all night drinking getting drunk throwing away the money don't yield don't submit but realize I got Jesus and I can make a difference yay if that child in disobeying and setting the parents out don't you yield back in a coma and say I can't do nothing with him but stand up in faith and say I can make a difference yeah you can put the name of Jesus and that's power in his name power that sways the heavens power that makes devils tremble power that casts out Devils power that heals the sick power that can even raise the dead walk Laura to God but when you use it you got to believe it whoso cometh unto God I feel my hip knock must first of all believe that he heals and that healer awara of them that diligently seek him believe that when you speak the word things are gonna change believe that when you cast the devil out he's gonna run all about his business hallelujah hallelujah somebody ought to shout hallelujah hallelujah God thank you God bless you thank you thank you [Music] thank you some of them were hard-headed some of them are slow learners some of them were running with the wrong crowd some of them had disease in their body yeah a lot but the parents say I know how to solve this I'm going to take them to Jesus yeah the quoi this morning singing what a friend we have in Jesus all of our sins and brief the bath and what a privilege it is to carry [Applause] everything to God and prayer o what peace we often forfeit Oh what needless pain we bear and if all because we do not tell you everything whatever it is everything god Lauren to God whatever it is bring it to Jesus what happens go wrong bring it to Jesus he neighbor he Mabel he lay [Music] Laura all right parents bring them closer be unto Jesus bring the child I'm not gonna pray a long lingering class but I just want to touch him in the name of Jesus Halon fill up the center high and just bring the children yes they may be infants they may be teenagers but bring them he labor he labor in the name of Jesus if I touch the children and touch the parents a change begins to take place now there is a change I feel it happening there is a change he lit on fire glory be unto Jesus there is a change there is a change there ever change in Jesus name yay hallelujah I touch the children and I touch the parents and I touch everyone in the name of Jesus they're bringing problems they're bringing needs but God is meeting the need he's meeting it right now yes yes yes it's happening right now by the glory of Jesus devils are being cast out by the glory of Jesus disobedience spirits are being thrown down by the glory of Jesus hallelujah wisdom and knowledge and understanding it's snowing in the very life by the glory of Jesus Devils are having the sleeve a wall of protection is going up around these families in the name of Jesus yay we come against every devil we come against every flower and evil spirits we impart wisdom knowledge and understanding patience to the parents yay endurance knowledge from on high touching every parent touching every guardian Jesus healing the bodies that have been made of flicked it through the struggle of very yellow it's happening right now for the glory of Jesus yay hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah my my my you know about it you know about it your hands its touching on the my head your power is being demonstrated here yes Lord we all burn your words we all be in your word as we obey you'll do the rest as we obey your healing and making hold and we obey you're solving problems as you are we obey you're bringing peace in their home yes Lord we thank you for it hallelujah hallelujah breaking down at the stronghold yes Lord hallelujah hallelujah you're rebuking the spirits of drug addiction you're rebuking adversaries yes law we employer we can't do it myself we've got to have you in this dark and evil day we've got to have you the only one can do it I know you able I know you able come on Frank him come on and crank him come on in Frank hallelujah thank you hi come say and he can heal take your burden to the law and leaving them bad if this were from you withhold all of it see new look and it's gold and you have to get along with me the fair just with him Bob in standing if there's anybody here that doesn't know Jesus as your Savior stepping to the nearest aisle and come right now maybe there's somebody whom the Lord planted and people remember choosing your you trust and never die he will I know that God is talking to a number of people now that one who has never claimed Jesus as Savior don't put it off any longer step into the nearest aisle and come on if you've known the Lord and straight away come on back if you know this is where God wants you to be the door of the church is open forget about what folk will say you better obey God you ought to hit the nearest aisle and come on now [Music] [Music] Oh trust and never doubt he was feeling [Music] all right the rest of you might have your seats out there but I know there's some more out there that the Lord spoke to thank you Jesus hallelujah hallelujah I'm just going to shake hands with you sister Chris Willis I want you and elder sent it to go down with these and counsel with them and pray with them since the Rhondda is gonna be down to sign up anyone that may be joining with the church and God bless you and all right well then just go on and make sure that your make sure your record is in order God thank you Jesus if you've need some counsel and father prayer you can go on with them and if you don't feel you need [Music] them take your burden to the Lord now if you brought them to Jesus you've brought the children you brought the wives you brought the husbands you brought the sisters you brought all the family you brought the problems financial emotional mental if you brought it all to him reach over and tell somebody now leave them there [Music] Oh [Music] you made well you can't do nothing with it it's been getting the best of you all along you may have well leave it with Jesus now turn to one somebody again and look them right in the eye and tell that one individual neighbor if you have really left the problem with Jesus then you won't worry about it any
