hey everyone welcome back to the channel thanks for tuning in for another episode well guys here in Wisconsin we have got our spring finally coming in and one of the things that a little bit warmer weather means is we start to enter garage sale season and yes I like to do the garage sailing I like to swing by uh you know estate sales or whether it's like a a uh thrift store I'm always on the hunt for well not just fish and stuff I like a lot of different things but I'm always on the hunt for some fishing stuff so I thought I would do a video on some recent garage sale finds because I've actually found some pretty dang good stuff that I'm pretty happy with uh a little bit of stuff all over the place but I figured we'd do that and in the comments section let me know what some of your most recent garage sale finds are because it's never ceases to amaze me how much cool stuff is still out there that people are finding so let's just jump right into today's garage sale finds uh first one let's just go with this guy right here you guys know what this is this is yep an original old school storm Wiggle Wart Chrome Blue Back which is actually one of my preferred colors and I think it has a little bit to do more just sentimentally this was when I was younger this was like my go-to musky bait uh my dad and I and our brothers we'd put on our wiggle warts generally in a chrome blue chrome black color and we go catch musky with it the lake we used to vacation at uh had a bunch of small muskies like in the upper 20in range and a Wiggle Wart was a great way to catch them and as you can see this one right here I paid $3 for $3 for an old school storm Wiggle Wart I will not pass that up any day of the week uh I've got a whole pile of the old wiggle warts I love them and at three bucks I would buy every one that I can find so we got that one and we got this guy right here this is an old school well I'm not even going to open it because it's still a sealed box this is the old school uh Rapala fat wrap this is the SG color I believe yep it's the solid gold it's like a gold chrome color this is the size five uh just an all-around great bait I I think I paid $3 for this as well it originally Crandon sports shop Sports gifts uh originally sold for $5.99 so I paid half of what it probably sold for in the store but these are great crankbaits a lot of money has been won on the old rapola fat wrap the diving fat wrap so we got that one and then I just found this one I just paid $3 for this too at a thrift store I just found uh I actually was at a thrift store that was next to the oil change place that I like to go to so this is a Bagley this is a Bangalore number two but I thought it was a really cool color I've never seen this color just like a light blue Fades into a darker blue uh maybe some of you guys know something about this it is you know it's got a tooth Mark in the top so you know it did work probably caught a pike uh around here but I've never seen that color this is just a Bangalore number two uh I know it's not like super old it doesn't have the brass hardware but it does have the old school hooks my guess is it's probably from uh I'm going to say the 80s maybe I'm sure somebody out there will correct me on it but when I saw it I was like I am buying that I've never seen a Bagley in that color bait we got this guy this was 250 this is the old original headen Zera spook in aont Frog color if you guys watch my channel you know how much I love frogs this is The Silent One there's no sound in this uh Killer Bait it's got the old hanger Hardware on it uh again I don't know the year that this was made my guess would be probably 70s again uh but for a couple of bucks I'm not passing up a frog colored spook I love frog colored top Waters this is kind of really similar to that old storm chug buug bullfrog color uh and what I love about about it's not like bright yellow it's kind of almost that school bus yellow which to me is a great color how about this guy I paid $5 for this guy this is the old uh storm this is the Deep diving lightning shed this was made for a couple of years uh I think it may have been the last bait storm produced I could be I could be wrong on this I think it was the last bait storm produced before they were purchased by rapola uh but this is the big one the big deep diving one I think this was supposed to get down to like roughly 20 ft they sell for a pretty good amount a lot of them do at least uh I think some of it's dependent on the color but there's a lot of guys that absolutely love these personally never had a ton of good success on them I haven't thrown them that much I guess uh but again I just know it's a bait that does have some demand for it and uh because I'm a tackle junkie I picked it up all right then we got this guy this is the uh old clacken wrap so this was made for a couple years this one's sealed too so I'm not going to open it but this is their lipless version that had a it's got a big one knocker side to side you can see that big disc in there that was like a rattle chamber uh the bone chartreuse color not made long and in my opinion this is one of those baits that was discontinued too soon you can hear how loud that is uh I really think they only made it for a year or two and then they discontinued it and I don't think people recognized how good it was until after it was discontinued because now they are in pretty good demand there's a lot of people that really like to throw these catch a lot of fish on them down in places like Gunnersville uh I've got a handful of them I've caught some definite good fish on them uh can't say it's necessarily my absolute favorite lipless but again knowing that it's kind of a high demand bait at times I picked that one up I think I paid $4 for that this is uh one of my favorites this one I paid couple of bucks for I bought this the same place I bought the fat wrap uh this was originally $489 from cron Sports and gift as well this is just the old school uh well it's the old school silver Blue Shad wrap by Rapa just one of my favorites this is the size eight again it's sealed so I'm not going to open it uh hopefully you can see it is set Chrome silver blue with a orange belly just an absolute killer color honestly as a kid this was one of my absolute favorite baits and I would catch everything walleye bass musky Pike that was that was if I threw a crankbait it was a Shad wrap or it was a wiggle Ward one of those two baits and then the last one I got this one might be a little bit more unusual this is a uh top knocker it's bass proops top knocker so this is another one that you know they made for a few years never really caught on but there's kind of a hard School following for it this is one of the shoestring develop baits like if you remember the old Bassmaster catalog or Bass Pro cataloges when you open it up generally when you got to The Lure section they'd have like baits they came out with and there was shoestring was one that had a whole pile of baits that he designed I think his last name I think his name was shring DUIs I could be wrong on that somebody correct me uh but the top knocker is one that has kind of gotten a pretty good following since it was discontinued so I was kind of surprised when I saw it I was like I'm going to buy that and I think I paid $3 for that too so some pretty good finds like and I'll say I I will say this there are also a lot of people out there that are charging way too much for baits like there were a lot of places I went that had uh pretty much all these same not all these same but had like Shad wraps and you know random crankbaits and they want like $10 a pop for it and I'm like there's no way you'll ever get that uh but if you know what you're looking for you can still find some decent baits out there so I thought I'd share those with you because I don't know I get excited when I find baits I don't know maybe I'll never use any of these I'll just add them to my collection but the reality is I'm happy with every one of these and uh they've got a new home so let me know in the comments section what are some of the baits you have found recently I'd love to hear from you guys as well and uh otherwise thanks for watching subscribe to the channel if you haven't done so already stay tuned we'll have a new video coming out tomorrow
